The average viewer, who only follows the YouTube channel will be very confused next week, when there is no new Ghost Files episode. I know it's because of budget reasons, but the way they promote new seasons (or sometimes new shows) is rather suboptimal. The promotion for the new PH season that starts next week is more or less non existent. 😕

i think they made it clear enough in the video itself that this ghost files episode was a special one-off episode and not a season premiere. no different from the branded too many spirits and are you scared episodes that have gone up in the past outside of their regular cycles.

it's true that they haven't promoted puppet history very much but i don't necessarily think that's an issue tbh. it's season 6 of the show and anyone who is subscribed only for puppet history will see it in their subscription feed, and anyone who isn't subscribed and watches puppet history should have it in their recommended. they know it will do well regardless of the promo it does or doesn't get.

i think it would have been more confusing if they had already posted the puppet history trailer considering they had this branded gf episode coming out, since they've always done a trailer either the week before or the week of the premiere date. anyway they'll probably post a trailer on monday for the youtube viewers!
