　　—　 i'm thinking the winchester boys might've rolled into bon temps shortly after the events of 1.04 : phantom traveler , bc i love to terrorize dean + his fear of flying , but also because it puts the appearance of a demon back on their radar. they’re here investigating the laura hale case ( and yeah , he’s incredibly smug that his hatred of vamps is being justified by her death. which is like , awful. but very dean of him ! ) and there’s the slow realization that they’ve stumbled across some ridiculous supernatural hotspot so he’s tryna get his bearings together. regardless , he’s just kinda overjoyed to have his brother back at his side and hunting again !

　　—　designated brother's keeper at birth , with a healthy dose of main character syndrome , and dean winchester quite literally sees the rest of the world as supporting roles to his story ( of which his little brother is the main character , of course ! ) his saviour complex works in tandem with the stringent belief that his family is the exception to all rules , and while he's yet to be pushed to the point of proving that terrifying fact , oh baby ⸻ you know it's coming.

　　—　has no respect for authority figures except his father, rip. thinks all civilians who live in the dark ( or worse , in blatant ignorance ) to the dangers of the supernatural are dumb as fuck. lives with a pretty general black and white overview of the world when it comes to hunting what goes bump in the night ( but this line of thought is slowly but surely getting questioned , and it scares the shit outta him. )
