So the Entity had its favorites on both sides. Dwight, the first proper Survivor, and then Kenneth for a while. At least until Danny came along and started showing off his creative methods of fucking with the Survivors during Trials. Seasoning that fear and despair with that extra helping of good stuff, ya know?

Anyway the main point.

You know on the flip side of that, the Entity had to have a least favorite. Someone it looked at and silently questioned, 'Why the fuck did I pick you up again?' Not outright hate, mind you. Just, like, a mild disinterest. Boredom. A kind of 'ooh shiny new toy annnnnnd I'm over it. Into the back of the closet to collect dust with you' kind of dislike.

Anyway, in this essay I'll go into absolutely no detail or depth on my thought process as to why I think it was Freddy and Quentin.

DBD Random Hc #3

General

Survivors that are killed in trial are briefly reincarnated into Crows should they choose to spectate. When the last person has escaped (or killed) they will return to their human forms.

When a Killer “Dc’s”, it’s actually the Entity taking the killer for a much needed “lesson”. Survivors assume it occurs with continuous lack-luster performance.

Survivors are big on naps. They enjoy curling up by the fire or snuggling up in communal cabins on chilly nights.

Trails aren’t continuous. Typically, a survivor participates 2-3 times a week. Killers participate 3-5, depending if they are particularly blood thirsty. This is done so the Entity can savor in the breaking of the spirit.

A trial can last between an 1-4 hours. The quickest recorded trial was 34 minutes, Killer won.

A generator takes an average of 5-10 minutes to complete. Survivors and Killers both sneak out generators to power their living spaces.

The Entity has a sense of humor (BBQ events, My Little Oni.) Does this to lift spirits and stagger the process of “feeding.”

The Entity is very weak outside its relm. Hence, why it only takes people every few months. Continued exposure to out worlds sun greatly damages it.

Blighted Killers and “Archivist” Survivors are future versions of the Entity’s downfall era. Blighted killers need the extra strength to beat down the survivors. Survivors begin to use the Observers notes, tools, and research to fight back.

Voided survivors or killers probably lost hope or began to lose themselves as trials went on.

Survivors

Jonah is obsessed with patterns. They don’t have to be about math either. “Felix takes a sip of water everytime Élodie sits and we have one mega cabin for two tents on the east-“

Jeff learned how to tattoo! The most popular ones he’s given are Survivors perk emblems with the forth empty diamond being “Hope.”

That guitar strumming survivors hear while in the lobby? That’s Kate! No noise makes her go nuts.

Nobody liked Dwight at first but for some odd reason, was looked to as a leader (albeit a very “mid” leader.) Most of the time, he has no idea what he’s doing. Even stranger, his cheesy advice is USED and WORKS.

Yun-Jin followed the tenants of the 4B movement. ( “4 No’s.” Essentially excluding sex/romance (with men in particular) and children in favor of a more independent lifestyle.)

Everyone forgets Yoichi exists. Everyone. Kinda like a Hetalia Canada situation.

Vittario frequently experiences culture shock. Due to no one knowing 1300’s Italian, he just points at something, acquires the word, then uses word as needed.

Alan was genuinely shocked (if not a little saddened) that no one knew who he was. Writes little books, essays, or theories based on his life in the fog.

Yui will always put her girlies first. Not that she doesn’t like the male survivors but rather believes that women should always have each others backs.

Gabriel is a closeted Agere though he doesn’t quite understand/realize. Enjoys childish knick-knacks, rough play, and has a very active imagination. However, he feels deep shame with the interests and typically regresses in private.

Killers

Unknown, Demo, and Dredge are all best buds. No explanation required.

Tarvös and the company spend their down time with drinking games and hunts. Best catch has the honor of roasting it up for a feats. (Literally a medical BBQ)

Evan experiments with art mediums in his free time. Nothing major. Mostly scrap sculptures that he tinkers with. Oddly nice to look at. His most popular one is a crow made from old tin, copper wire, and nuts. Spins in large wind gusts.

Blighted Legion is very protective of their body. Similar to Charlotte and Victor, holds each others hands. Also self hugs, caressing, and soothing murmurs. Despite it mainly being Franks body, personas frequently switch in and out. Uses “We” in place of “I”.

Wesker has acquired a small fan club of people in the fog who think he’s oh-so handsome or cool (read legion). He’s in on the joke and approves it for the ego boost.

Adrianna is a Karen. No one likes her. Not even the other killers. Was the person who made a scene when a minimum wage employee forget her extra sauce.

Nemesis lies dormant when not in a trial. Almost statue like. This goes for the zombies too. Only animates in the queue zone and in a trial.

Same for Sadako. Resides in the well until called upon.

Herman actually had a normal childhood. Loving mom, hard working dad, maybe a little sister. I just think his “appreciation” for the sciences was not well monitored.

Jefferey is an open mouth breather. Yea, it smells exactly like you’re thinking.

DBD survivor headcannons

- Language barriers are a common problem for new survivors. Whenever a new one pops up in the campfire, the group’s first course of action is to figure out what language they speak, since they can’t do much else until that’s sorted out

-The entity has sapped the survivors of most of their physical strength, but heightened their stamina and durability. Which was a bit of shock for survivors like Chris Redfield when he realized he couldn’t just punch a hole in the killer and call it a day. That being said, it’s usually still his first instinct to fight the killer

-The survivors share items they recover from trials, and ration them to make sure nobody goes in empty handed. A lot of toolboxes and flashlights have been wasted by survivors throwing them at killers in a panic

-The only reason Dwight is considered the leader of the group is because he’s been here the longest. Whenever somebody new shows up in the fog, they’re directed right to him. He’s shown everyone the ropes, and still doesn’t really have the slightest clue how he’s managed to last this long

-That being said a lot of people have their doubts with him. This scrawny little white guy?? We’re gonna follow his lead?? Grizzled survivors like Bill or Ash seem like a much better candidate. But nobody else can rally the group together and motivate them like him. He doesn’t know how he does it either.

-Yun-jun Lee was HORRIFIED by the state of the campfire when she first arrived. She’s sat in the lap of luxury for so long that even the thought of getting her shoes dirty made her physically ill.

-Claudette and David are pretty close, considering how his main skill set involves taking hits, and hers involves healing them. His recklessness gives her heart palpitations.

-Within trials, survivors gain superhuman healing abilities, able to seal up wounds that would normally be lethal. Not fully, just enough to keep their organs from spilling out until they can get patched up by a medkit or another survivor. This isn’t always a positive though- If a survivor is left on hook long enough, their body will begin to mend itself around the hook, lifting them off from it just tears a new wound in them.

-The RE squad sticks together, god forbid they end up in a trial together, it’s every killers worst nightmare. They’re coordinated as fuck

-The only animals in the vast field surrounding the campfires are crows and rats. Several attempts to hunt them have been made, none have been successful. The survivors haven’t eaten in a very long time, they’re so hungry that even the rotted meat hung up in cold wind is starting to look appealing.

-The crows aren’t actually creations of the entity, they’re just prone to finding their way into the realm. They have a symbiotic relationship with it. The abundance of death within the realm is basically an all-you-can-eat-buffet for them, so long as they help the entity out when needed.

Steve: You know I pegged him to be one of those popular kids who only cared about himself, but he clearly changed since being stuck in here. Good for him.

Dwight: He's lucky survivors keep coming back, he seems like the kind of guy that would buy it pretty early during one of my jobs in the real world.

Brad: The man is fast, like how the Entity even caught the slippery guy . I don't know.

James: The man is tragic, I know his whole story. But I just prefer not to fuck with his head like some of the other killers would. Honestly during trials he's pretty self sacrificing which makes sense he's trying to make up for his past.

Exy: My Entity loves me, showers me with praise. Its very flattering. He's very interested in my techniques he often asks me my opinions on the work of the killers. In a lot of ways he is manifestation the evil that me and Gene used to talk about. I kind of love him.

Roman: Without him the Ghostface legacy wouldn't exist. Its such an honor to work with him and he's really smart. I'm A fan of his work he's obviously not as big as say Michael or Freddy but he's clearly an important piece of the history of the buisness.

Johnny: The new guy. He's Bubba's brother? I think, I had heard that in the real world that Bubba's shtick included his whole family instead of the lone killer thing like most of us do. Its a pretty novel idea, the fact that they've made it work for them is pretty impressive.

Johnny himself seems to have got this feral country boy thing going on. Using a kind of seductive lure which I kind of want him to teach me to see if I could pull it off.

thinking over dbd verse ghost and how putting him up as a killer (likely under the moniker of the soldier) works far too well with the way his damaged psyche is.

the way the entity would be able to manipulate the way he views the world as it's already a hairline fracture from going full askew. being put into the fog and seeing all this fucked up shit and a little bit of pushing could just easily teeter an already unbalanced mind past the rational edge. the wondering of did he really die? belief in an afterlife? maybe. it's all muddled up but he's here now.

a man who was so broken down that he only understands orders and killing. so of course; make the order to kill. amplify the whispering in his own head, the intrusive thoughts that cloud him. solidify the way he thinks he's split in two. nurture the side that is ghost and silence the side that is simon.

simon riley is dead. all that is left is ghost. the soldier. he'll never escape the rot buried so deep in his bones. his muscles only move to kill - it's all he'll ever know. take lives, again and again, for the ones taken from him all those years ago. he's a soldier. a ghost. a murderer. death.

take his twisted views - convince him every single person in the fog is in there for disloyalty and betrayal. put him against survivors who undermine each other and sell each other out early into his tenure. show him the things he despises the most. the things he cannot forgive. his humanity slowly being pushed down father and farther until it's at the bottom of the fucked up mess his mind is. until he can barely think straight.

amplify all of these muddled emotions and thoughts during trial. put him in a haze when he's killing. something he might just welcome, a lull, the simplicity of kill. orders were always clear and easy to follow. there doesn't need to be more thought - to play the role of the puppet is comforting in its own sick way. he is the weapon - he was crafted to be wielded, guided. in that way; he is the most at home. the most comfortable. the safest.

Ghostface

He was chasing what he thought to be just another survivor.

He almost caught you when you did something, unexpected to say the least.

To say that he was surprised when he got a glizzie straight to the face is an understatement.

He was pure confusion in that moment.

Like first of all: How the fuck, did you get a hotdog into the entities realm? Second of all: Why the fuck did you throw it at him?

He keeps chasing you after a second or 2 of him just standing there, processing a hotdog being thrown straight to the face.

He's definetly keeping the hotdog for a stupid selfie when he catches you.

He starts hanging around you just because he wants to scare the shit out of you to see if you'll do it again.

The Doctor

He's pretty good at predicting what survivors will and won't do.

Untill they have a hotdog apparently.

He was amused, when you threw a hotdog at his face.

What else would you do when desperate? That kept being on his mind for the rest of the trial.

You're 2x more likely to get kidnapped by him when not in a trial because of having a hotdog at your disposal.

Might fry the hotdog infront of you with his electricity, before frying you with his electricity, that is.

If he spares you then he'll talk to you to learn more and then well you might become friends

Doesn't mean he'll go easy on you in trials though.

The Oni

Kazan does NOT take disrespect lightly.

So to say you basically became a walking corpse the second you threw a sausage at him mid chase is an understatement.

Like really. In the face of the most brutal samurai in all of history. Your first reaction is to throw a sausage at him.

to say you got morried even if he didn't have permission would be very honest.

Because he will not care if any others die, as long and the sausage throwing survivor dies that trial, he's happy.

No matter how close you are or will likely ever become, Kazan will not be forgiving you.

Mans feels DISRESPECTED but also amused.

Like its amusing how dumb of an attempt your ''distraction'' was as well as how badly it failed.

But SERIOUSLY, why the fuck did you disrespect this man so hard, by knocking his glasses off with a god damn glizzie.

Most people atleast punch him and then die but noooooo you did at long range.

After the trial he does start wondering just how you even got the sausage in the first place.

survival : in which ethan survives the events of re8. things aren’t as they were before he entered the village, though. a heart ripped from his chest ; an awareness of his true nature. a man made entirely of mold, blood no longer flowing through his veins. the mold is what keeps him alive ; after all, the real ethan winters died back in louisiana all those years ago, killed at the hands of jack baker. now, ethan has to learn how to deal with his newfound awareness of his state, as well as dealing with all the struggles that come with it.  - headcanons abt survival au ethan are here.

dead by daylight: in which the entity takes ethan before he can die during the village’s destruction. she sees his potential, sees the way he’d fit perfectly amongst her motley crew of survivors, and snatches the father up before the explosion can kill him. in the fog, the mold’s decay is paused, too ; ethan is truly put in limbo here, a dead man walking. once again, he’s on the run from people trying to kill him. he just wants to escape, to go home to his daughter, but still he’s a martyr until the end, willing to sacrifice himself if it means that the other survivors can escape the trial. - here’s a post i made ages ago with ethan’s survivor perks.

fallout : the vault is safe. stay in the vault. that’s the most important rule — but what does it mean when mia and rose disappear from their vault? why would she leave? why would she take their daughter with her? these questions are what sends ethan up to the surface. the wasteland is cruel, with its horrifying creatures and toxic atmosphere. no place for a vault dweller. unbeknownst to ethan though, a transformation begins to take place after being exposed to high levels of radiation on the surface: he’s slowly turning into a ghoul.

far cry 5: after mia’s disappearance, ethan follows any leads he thinks might help him find her. a tip leads him to believe that she may be in hope county, montana, intertwined with a fanatical religious cult known as eden’s gate. it’s a risk, but one he’s more than willing to take.

IT guy : exactly what it says. in this verse, ethan is just that — an IT guy. yes, i know he’s a systems engineer but shush. basically, this is my Horrors Never Happened™️ AU. he’s just living his life, chilling and working on computers. pretty basic shit.

marvel : ethan is a mutant whose gifts didn’t manifest until later on in life. the powers in question? the ability to create and control a thick, black substance that he refers to as Mold. now, he’s struggling with adjusting to these newfound abilities after a lifetime of normalcy.

monster : this is more of an umbrella verse for pre-existing verses such as canon or survival rather than anything specifically thought out. for example, the ideas i particularly envision with this are ethan being turned into a lycan or him turning into one of the molded (ala re7).

outlast : ethan is wrongly committed to mount massive asylum following the events of re7. after all, everything you saw wasn’t real, ethan. you murdered an innocent family, they all say — but he knows the truth. he knows that it all really happened, knows that he lived through a fucking nightmare, knows that he was put in here as a cover-up. no one believes him, though. why should they, when they’ve all decided he’s insane?

red dead redemption / western : after his wife’s sudden disappearance, he heads further south towards the swamps. it’s there that he finds trouble : after getting lost and being attacked by a psychotic family in a secluded house tucked away in the bayou, ethan ends up having to kill the parents in self-defense. it’s not a clean getaway, though — the son, lucas, lives and tells his own version of the story. a bounty is placed on ethan’s head, an unwanted notch on his belt. he’s a terrible excuse of an outlaw, all things considered, but … he’s a damn good shot.

remedy : under construction, but i currently have two concepts in mind (but am absolutely open to suggestions) : 1.) ethan is a character written by alan wake, brought to life during alan’s attempts to escape the dark place. 2.) the dark place’s dimension and the megamycete are somehow connected, therefore ethan’s consciousness resides there.

silent hill : a pull. a feeling. that’s what leads ethan to the town of silent hill during his search for mia. why? he isn’t sure. there’s nothing about this town that particularly seems special, that seems like anywhere mia would go normally — but this isn’t normal. there are shadows lingering on the street corners, a fog that hangs over the town, and monsters lurking in the alleyways. and worst of all? there isn’t a way out.

stranger things : after visiting family for the summer and liking the small town, twenty year old ethan moves from los angeles to hawkins and takes a job at radio shack. things change however when his friend, zoe baker’s family ends up getting controlled by the mind flayer ; ethan tries to help her figure out what’s happening to them … why they have changed. the baker family ends up infecting him, resulting in the man seemingly dying along with the rest of the flayed when the flayer creates its physical body. once the flayer is destroyed, something new forms out of the remains : ethan winters, restored and with no memory of anything that had occurred after his infection at the baker house, but with a newfound connection to a certain alternate dimension.

texas chainsaw massacre : missing posters hang everywhere. so many have gone missing — and in ethan’s hunt to find his girl, he’s the next one to fall into the sawyer family’s clutches, fighting to survive alongside others who have disappeared and even losing a hand in the process.

the last of us : ethan is infected with the cordyceps, whilst mia is a part of a group of scientists, the connections, whom are studying the fungi after the outbreak. he’s initially unaware of the infection since there are no physical signs — but mia notices it right away. she sees it, the way that the other infected they encounter don’t seem interested in ethan. it’s only a matter of time before her group begins running experiments on him, injecting him with more and more of the cordyceps in their attempt to figure out exactly what it is that makes him tic. it is only then that physical signs begin to show, but with the careful wearing of gloves, he’s able to keep it hidden away. eventually, ethan manages to escape the connections’ grip, but he’s always on the move. he cannot risk being caught again.

.That was until he met you, something in him switched on and he became hyper-fixated on you. 

.He is a determined yandere with a single goal in mind get (Your Name) instead of saying S.T.A.R.S he can actually say a few things now! Such as Your first name, Mine, and Love. 

.He is the type of yandere that nothing, NOTHING is going to stop him from hunting you the love of his life down. 

.He is a relentless yandere who has the sole goal of having you in his arms or by his side. 

.Either way, you will be close to him no matter what. 

.And anyone in the way, may they be in Racoon city, or in the Entities realm tries to get to you, they will be killed. 

.No one else matters but you and so anyone in his way will die. 

.He is a ruthless yandere, legit tearing people in half, right down the middle. 

.He does not care who they are, even if they are your partner or if they could be your own mother. They were all seen as rivals and they did not matter. 

.They were in the way of you and that means they had to go. 

.He is a single-minded yandere which means he is solely focused on you and there is no way you will ever be able to escape him. 

.He is extremely possessive and might even brand you with a mark that he has that means you belong to him and him alone. 

.He would also be the type to put a collar and a chain leash on you so that you cannot leave him. 

.If he is not carrying you he would be leading you around by the leash to make sure that you do not run off. 

.If that does not work he will break your legs and keep you locked away somewhere safe. 

.He would only ever leave when he has the new "mission" to get you food or supplies to keep you safe and alive. 

.Cause after he gets his hands on you his goal is to keep you alive and to love you. 

.If you try and escape you can bet that he would break your leg with ease. 

.If you try to leave after that, well then he would cut off your leg as well. 

.You did not need it if you were going to use it to leave him. 

.He confessed to you simply by saying "Love, (Name)."  If you accepted his love, he would be much easier to work with. You could keep your legs and maybe even walk around without a leash on. 

Wouldn't that be great? But anytime you get out of range, too far away from him for his liking, he will come to get you, pick you up, and carry you back to the main place you guys were at. 

.He Is kind of like how a mother cat picks up her kittens when they are being naughty. 

If you turned his love down, he would not care; he would just pick you up, throw you over his shoulder, and take you with him. 

.He knows he will be able to make you love him one way or another. He was sure of it. 

.He also takes great pride in being able to take care of you, you are his and when he does something that makes you happy he takes pride in it. 

.He still is not going to let you go, even if that would make you very very happy. 

.He is bound and determined to take care of you and be what you need. 

.He thinks you are foolish for thinking you could survive without him, him believing the only reason you survived that long was from sheer luck and him and you being meant to be. 

.There was no other reason for that, you are the only one to make him feel and that means you are the love of his life and you two were meant to be. 

.It was fate and he is not going to lose you, the love of his life. 

.Side note if anyone hurts you he will have a new goal put into him, and that is to find the person who did it and slaughter them, their friends, and their family! .They had sealed their fate and worse off he also does this with small things like just people who helped you escape or who you talked to, to just them looking at you funny or too long! 

.He can not be reasoned with his, vengeful nature for anyone who dares look at you too long to his obsessive love for you.  .Those things are his goals and he will never give them or you up, you are his forever.

as is the case for most of the killers under the entity’s influence, sally has become something of a sadist and her background as a nurse had provided her with the anatomical knowledge and precision necessary to safely engage in even the most extreme forms of pain play (granted she won’t propose any of this of on her own as she’s more than content with taking out these sadistic urges on survivors, but she will absolutely indulge you if ever you ask her to do so) — meaning that anything from impact play to extreme breath play to knife (and/or needle) play is on the table with her so long as one of you is able to acquire the materials and tools needed to engage in those scenes, of course

she has plenty of experience when it comes to restraining others and making sure that they don’t even have the room to comfortably squirm in place, which is a skill set that lends itself wonderfully to engaging in bondage related play with you in the realms — her preference is using older style restraints (strong leather with heavy metal buckles) because that’s what she’s the most familiar with, and it’s also what’s the most common in the realm she calls her home, but she’s pretty good at improvising and can, and will, tie you up with anything she can get her hands on

sally prefers to stick to positions that allow her to see your face and monitor your reactions (partially because it just feels safer to her, and partially because they feel more intimate and history and her present state be damned she’s still a romantic at heart) — whether that means the tried and true missionary, the mating press, one of you riding the other’s thigh, or something completely different, she doesn’t much mind so long as that closeness is still there

after sex she becomes extremely affectionate and clingy, almost cat like in her behaviour in a way, with her always curling into your side, half laying her head on your chest to listen to your heartbeat, as she wraps her arms tightly around your middle (she will not leave your embrace until the entity calls upon her to do so) — she’s already lost the love of her mortal life, and she refuses to leave the love of her immortal life too

on the rare occasion that she feels comfortable and safe enough to submit to you, she responds the most positively to gentle love making and being praised over roughness and dirty talk — call her ‘beautiful’ and ‘perfect’ as you bury your head beneath her skirts and make her see stars, pepper kisses along her bandaged neck and face while you rub her clit with the pad of your thumb and whisper about how much you love her, and you’ll get to feel her whole body relax and collapse against you as her resolve crumbles and you get to see small glimpses of the woman she used to be

for the most part she’s very quiet during sex — only really letting out sighs, gasps, and the very occasional moan that’s barely audible through the fabric covering her mouth — but she absolutely loves it when you’re vocal for you, rewarding every moan and groan and cry of her name with more of whatever she knows you enjoy (whether than means burying another finger in your cunt, increasing the pace or pressure of her touch as she toys with your clit, thrusting her leg upwards to meet your own movements as you ride her thigh, moving one hand upwards to play with your breasts, tightening her grip on your throat, or anything else along those lines that will get her approval across)

and when she’s in a more submissive mindset this translates itself into something of a voice kink for you and she’ll become extremely reactive and receptive to anything you say — especially if you whisper what you’re saying (see the point above regarding her praise kink) into her ear while pleasuring her, at which point she’ll start to practically melt into your touch

she’s incredibly reluctant to introduce any sort of sex toy into the bedroom unless it’s something that’s non-intrusive to whatever she’s doing (e.g. safer and more comfortable restraints for her to use after you’ve mentioned being left more aching and sore than usual after she’s done with you) — in fact, she’s even been known to go so far as to spend several hours at a time pleasuring you and showing off her unmatched familiarity with your body just to prove to you that there’s no need to rely on the use of modern devices to keep your sex life exciting, thrilling, exhilarating, or any other such adjective of your choice

though the realms aren’t exactly rich in opportunities for her to be particularly romantic, or at least not the ways that she might have strived to be before she fell to the entity’s influence, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t try her best to make you comfortable before the two of you are intimate

the beds in the asylum aren’t exactly luxurious, but she always makes sure that wherever you’re staying has the most comfortable mattresses and the least scratchy bed sheets

the entirety of the realm is pretty damned cold, but whenever you’re being intimate she makes a point to keep you squarely under the covers and surrounded by her so that you don’t feel the chill as much

the pillow case over her head prevents her from kissing you as she so often craves, but she’ll gently press her forehead against yours when she holds you and pleasures you, hoping that her actions convey her feelings in the same way a kiss would

she may be limited to the darkness due to her current state and thus unable to make use of any sort of mood lighting even if her realm provided the means for that, but she does her best to help you adjust to the lack of light through slow, gentle touches and a guiding hand to allow you to properly gain your bearings

her outfit may be largely unchanging and unromantic, and there may be a distinct lack of opportunity to acquire some more appropriately amorous nightwear to woo you with, but she ensures that you’re usually much to preoccupied with your own pleasure to ponder too much about her conservative uniform

☆Even though Dracula is a killer and Alucard is a survivor in Dead By Daylight, the Entity definitely makes them share bloodpoints.

𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐘’𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐌.    body / eye horror undercut, but here are my thoughts and headcanons on lisa garland in dead by daylight.

⊰ ♡ ⊱ lisa was able to enact her revenge on kaufmann before being picked up by the entity; although her transformation scene is one of great despair, the entity chose to prey on her strong desire for revenge instead. because of this, lisa's base outfit looks more like a prestiged version of her base skin. the entity isn't so kind as to reverse her transformation, but it did enough to give her hope.

on top of this, her right eye isn't an actual eye—— although it originated as a glitch within silent hill two's maria, the teeth in eye glitch would suit lisa well and i have my own ideas on how she's related to pyramid head ( inspired by the cage of cradle cover, nudity warning ). she usually covers it up with a medicinal eyepatch.

⊰ ♡ ⊱ personality wise, her anxiousness doesn't go away with time. it isn't beginner's nerves because silent hill has prepared her well for monsters, human-shaped or not. ghostface? lisa knows how cruel people can be. demogorgon? she's seen scarier in silent hill's otherworld. lisa's anxiety is caused by her believing the other survivors will see her as a monster, or at least the monster she fears she is. ( she's just like them, remember? )

lisa does, however, sympathize easily with the killers. it may be out of her own guilt for what she did alessa—— she understands how one can be pushed or forced into evil. the legion and wraith are prime examples! this doesn't mean lisa is friends with all killers, however; those who take joy in what they do are scorned by lisa, who remembers her time under kaufmann well.

pyramid head in particular is interesting for lisa, because she feels a strange connection to him. she doesn't know why, other than the fact that he reminds her of the gruesome figures she's seen in silent hill's otherworld. he scares her, and is one of the only killers who does.

⊰ ♡ ⊱ lisa is incredibly altruistic in the fog. she runs around as a healer and is typically the first person to go for the unhook, or at the very least, makes sure the person on hook gets patched up afterwards. it's very rare for lisa to make it out of a trial, but almost always, the rest of her teammates do.

her motivations as to why are a whole mixed bag. to touch on her guilt again, perhaps her failure towards alessa is what makes her strive to do better. or maybe it's the comfort in knowing that even if the others find out she's a monster, she's helped them enough that they may not hate her immediately. it could even be the fact that she's a nurse and instinctively wants to help people, even if it wasn't originally her dream. in the end, it always leads to self-sacrifice.

Even though Talion is from the LotR universe, since I have his main verse as DBD, I had a couple of headcanons related to him in the Dead by Daylight universe:

1 - Out of the other survivors, Talion would personally connect to those like Baermar and Aestri (Due to their knowledge and history with elven magic, as well as the over-arching fantasy theme between the two universes of DnD and LotR.); Kate, with her demeanor reminding Talion of his deceased wife, Ioreth; and Nea, respecting her agility and knack for being able to sneak around the trial grounds and fall from great heights without injury.

2 - Now, when it comes to killers, there are three of which that he either is mortified by, or that he just has an immediate disdain for: Vecna, with his powers and motive akin to that of Sauron; Kazan, who bears resemblance, (especially in certain appearance brought on by the entity) to the Uruk-hai he's faced as a ranger; and lastly, Sally Smithson, with her quick "blinks" across the trial ground, as well as her shriek being ever-so-similar to that of the Nazgûl.

3 - Due to him being taken into the fog via the Entity's Ring, Talion never met Celebrimbor, never gaining his powers and elven abilities. He is more resilient than most survivors, having walked the line between death and undeath, and isn't afraid to come face-to-face with practically any killer. However, his strongest asset is his affinity for stealth, silently slinking around the trial grounds, carrying a trumpet of his homeland, Gondor, as a motivation for his fellow survivors. Using the horn, he can blow it to expedite tasks his comrades are trying to complete, at the risk of exposing himself due to the sound.

I'm really excited to explore writing his character more, and am even more excited to build his story with others!
