The thing is though that i want to know the scent of your favorite soap so i can run you a bath, i want to know which old and worn shirt is your favorite to wear as pajamas. I wanna know which show to turn on when you’re sad and which to turn on when you’re happy. I wanna be familiar enough to get you your favorite snack and make your favorite meal. I just wanna learn all the little things and then spend every day after that relearning them as they shift with time.

Ya’ll one of my very good friends has been reading ACOTAR for the first time and she just finished SF and she’s an Elriel 🤗

I didn’t bring ships up at all or prompt her in any way but she’s like “Elain and Azriel are gonna be so cute! When is there book coming?”

And she is an extremely casual reader so this was incredibly vindicating to hear 😂

Dream can be very good at marketing and generating hype when he wants to/has the patience for it (just look at the build-up to the face reveal, the tour announcement, or the final manhunt), but often with his videos it feels like he gets so excited about finishing it that he can't help but get it posted ASAP with little to no warning beforehand

It's not a bad thing, to be clear, and as a writer with ADHD I relate hard because I do it too, but it can definitely feel sudden and unexpected as a viewer
