Lara had been looking forward to the beach bash since the middle of summer. It was going to be a nice way to wrap up the season before the school year started. She sat, watching the groups of teenagers in the water. Turning her head, she spotted Cordelia and waved. "Have you gotten into the water yet?" she asked pointedly, nodding towards the ocean.

Thomas antis do exist, but they're few, far between, and easy to avoid because of their blessedly low numbers. You are correct, there are far more Cordelia haters, which is highkey insane. Just comfort yourself with the knowledge that they're torturing themselves by reading a series with a character they despise on almost every page.

I love that. The holidays are always a fun time, a lot of things to do, a lot of emotions. The new year is a fresh start. I've got a few things planned for the truck and for the house. And then we've got Mozart keeping us on our toes. That's always fun! I never really played football, but I did water polo, so I always had to do strength training both in the pool and out of the pool. That was never the most fun thing, but it helped! Did you enjoy the gala? We picked out some art for the living room, so that was fun. Moving the couch so we could get it up on the wall... not really easy either, especially when the dog kept thinking the moving couch was a ride

It was one of those it was a very bittersweet holiday season, but it was still somehow the most beautiful time. Am I glad that we are able to move onto the start of a new year? Most definitely nothing better than getting back into the swing of things, even if it keeps us incredibly busy. Forgot how many things all the kids are signed up for through the year. Girls alone have dance and gymnastic, the boys are in clubs and working out to 'keep in shape' for next football season.

oh, it got serious. pupils dilate with intrigue as rowan draws closer and grabs her hand, completely drawing in cordelia's attention like oxygen to lungs. for a moment, the older of the two is speechless but eventually, her eyes return back to their pained pensive state and she brings rowan's hand up to her lips for a soft little kiss. "you are so very right, angel." words leave her in a bit of a whisper, the cogs in her head turning through the muck of wine that fogs it. "i will try hard to remember this advice. thank you."

"a bit of fun?" rowan leans in closer, eyes sparkling in her interest. she reaches out, grasping one of cordelia's hands between both of her own. "i'm going to tell you this because we're family, okay? you can totally have your fun, alright? if you're both cool with it and you're good with only that then great!" she gives a small squeeze to the hand she's holding. "but... if for whatever reason it stopped feeling good then... it's not a good idea to stay in that situation — we don't all end up wives."
