Lara had been looking forward to the beach bash since the middle of summer. It was going to be a nice way to wrap up the season before the school year started. She sat, watching the groups of teenagers in the water. Turning her head, she spotted Cordelia and waved. "Have you gotten into the water yet?" she asked pointedly, nodding towards the ocean.

Thomas antis do exist, but they're few, far between, and easy to avoid because of their blessedly low numbers. You are correct, there are far more Cordelia haters, which is highkey insane. Just comfort yourself with the knowledge that they're torturing themselves by reading a series with a character they despise on almost every page.

Right! Well, here you are now, and doing even better than before. And that’s what counts! Hopefully not. Well thank you! I’m still excited to get to work on new things like this. So that’s been taking up most of my time outside my teaching schedule. I hope so! If he does like it, I’ll hopefully be getting my name out to bigger sponsors which means more perks for the studio. Gotta love that. They are! My current ones are a bit sophisticated so something smaller would be nice. I mentioned it, but it’s mostly a surprise!

It's such an odd feeling to look back on because it doesn't feel like it was that long ago but feels ages ago at the same time. It is fun to look back, though I should have left that absolute mess of a place a lot earlier purely because it's a hazard waiting to happen. Hopefully he's not leasing it out to anyone else now. You're definitely not going to lose your touch but don't talk it up so that you feel yourself get anxious about it and feel like you have! That's going to be the biggest battle I think! Plus if he likes it, maybe he has friends who will also like your art and generate some regular income for you. A fleur de lis is really cute! They always seem so adorable and dainty. Does she know you want to get one to match?
