I feel so bad for rhaena 😭

My girl was never the favorite and now she has this child (bastard reader) who is the spitting image of her dad who he adores and is devoted to and who claimed the cannibal 💀 (she has been there for the total of 3 weeks)

I do think the dynamic between bastard!reader and her half-sisters would potentially be complicated, considering all their dad has already put them through (Their mother offing herself and him marrying his own niece like 24 hours later, not really being a present father in their lives) , but darn it, I want them so badly to all love each other and be a sister friendship group 😭

I think they would probably all find comfort and reassurance amongst themselves, because their dad and the other adults in their lives act selfishly. Reader would probably find a lot of comfort being with them, knowing they too are also pretty much pushed aside. The reader may be obsessed over and fawned over, but she's never really listened to. She's not a person to them, she's their little porcelain princess doll that they like to keep shiny on a shelf and no-where else.

With Rhaena and Baela, at least they listen and treat her like a person. I can definitely imagine there's a rift between them the first time they meet, their dad came back with another kid for crying out loud, but I do like to think they resolve the jealousy and hurt feelings through their reliance and support for one another in this crazy family.

Also I've heard that they're not going to show Morning, Rhaena's dragon in the show and my heart is actually broken 💔 a pink dragon, are you serious??! We're never going to see a coquette dragon, are we 🥲😞

🧵 Passenger Pigeon - Extinct | tip | comms

I finally finished this pigeon!

None other than the passenger pigeon I originally made in May, 2021. I reworked the original pixels and set out to stitching. This design has 3,106 stitches, so it took me roughly 31+ hours to finish!

Originally, this pattern had flowers, but once I had stitched them, I absolutely hated them. I ripped them all off, scarring the canvas a bit (😞), and redesigned the whole thing. It was not the funnest part of the process.

Anyway, I'm pretty darn happy with the colour palette I hand-picked for this piece. A lot of work went into it 😭 I hope you like her!

Day 3 (there was no post for Day 2 😉) of Project: Mass Effect 1 on Insanity!

Friends. My friends. I've cleared all of the side quests I'm planning on doing and am in the process of fighting my way through Feros. Still have Noveria and Virmire to go, then the big battle on the Citadel at the end. But still. I'm playing on Insanity and I'm continuing to progress and I'm so happy about it! 🤗🤗🤗

I also am NOT looking forward to Mass Effect 2 which is going to nerf all of my wonderful powers and be about 10k% harder but hey, let's just stay focused on fighting the Thorian and Temporarily!Evil!Shiala 'cause that's a slog on lower difficulties for me and I'm not anticipating a lot of fun. But! I've made it this far!

But for the important thing that you're probably ACTUALLY wondering about: what armor is everybody wearing? 🤔

Garrus in cutscenes continues to wear his standard armor. Probably because he's tired of GLOWING IN THE DARK in the armor I have my stealthy Archangel sniper in during gameplay...

Yeah, that's not exactly camouflage, I'm sorry to say. But it gives him the best stats so... 🤷‍♀️

Liara looks pretty good in hers, I'd say, more tanky than usual. And I'm getting used to Shep's not!N7 armor now.

I actually kinda dig the helmet with those lights!

Annnnnd, of course, then I got a set of armor with better specs so had to change it, lol! 👀🤷‍♀️😉

Don't know what the helmet's going to look like yet but at least it's back to my N7 red and black colors!

Also! If you're like me and that fight on Therum ruins (right before you go inside to rescue Liara) is a tough one for you, what with the Geth troopers and those darn jumpy Geth Stalkers (grr 🤬) and the Geth Colossus just sitting back there all murdering you on Casual and Normal? Friends. I got through it deathless on Insanity. Let Auntie Aislynn tell you how so this part of the mission will never, ever bother you again! (You may know all of this, of course, but I didn't until I was doing some research before this mission. 😉)

Oh no, the Mako can't drive through that narrow opening, guess we have to go forward on foot and face all of those Geth with just our handguns and biotic/tech powers! 😞

Heh, or you can get the Mako to roll onto its side and then wiggle wiggle wiggle thruster jet thruster jet thruster jet wiggle wiggle until you pop through to the other side! NOTE: Make sure to save right before you try this maneuver because the first time I did it, I got jammed in there and couldn't go forward, back or exit the Mako so had to revert. But it's worth the risk to get your two Mako cannons in this fight with you! (I have the actual gameplay footage so if you'd like to see this all in action, just let me know! 😉)

Geth Colossus? Stood there and took it straight to the face and never even fired a shot at me ether because I was out of its range or it was just so 😱SHOCKED😱 I'd gotten the Mako in here, lol! 😂😉

So definitely take that tactic if you can, my friends. It makes this part a breeze! 😎

Anyway! I've got some tough fights ahead of me but I've done better than I expected. I didn't have to do the Rogue VI mission (aka proto EDI) but I needed some targets for Tali to user her AI hacking abilities on for an achievement, so I thought I'd just go there, let the bazillion drones kill us but hopefully get some AI hacking in, revert, get some more in, etc. then just abandon the mission when I got tired of it. It's not required to advance the main mission so can be left undone.

I beat the mission. 😲Granted, we all died A LOT because those drones are SUPER AGGRESSIVE and there's not a lot of room to run. And I was focused on trying to get hits with Tali's AI hacking talent as much as possible. But still! I just kept trying and trying, took about 6 times to finally clear all the waves and we were done!

So now, wish me luck, that darn Thorian and Temp!Evil!Shiala are going to be my hardest challenge yet, I think! 😬🤞😣🤞 Love you all! 🤗💖

☆Cupcakes and culprits ☆

Jane was in the kitchen, quietly reading over her cookbook when she felt a small tug on the side of her dress.

“Hm?” Jane turned to find Roxy silently staring at her.

“Do you need something, Roxy?” Jane softy said knowing it was pretty early in the morning for Roxy due to her staying up at night.

“What um are you making?” Roxy gripped onto Jane, seeing her cookbook out.

“Cupcakes! I wanted some and I’m sure once Dirk and Jake get back they'd want some too!” Jane carefully moved out of Roxy's grip to fetch the ingredients needed to make cupcakes. As soon as she did, Roxy started whining.

“Huh? What’s wrong Roxy?” Jane turned around to quickly question her. Which she didn't get an answer too, just more whining.

“Uh? Oh, wait! Silly me, you're little aren't you?” Jane questioned due to Roxy's abnormal behavior.

“Uhmmmm.” Roxy waited for a moment before nodding.

“Okay! Well…uh… let's see, do you want to do something? Or play, or-” She was suddenly cut off by Roxy.

“Can I uhm help you make cupcakes?!” Roxy smiled as large as she could to persuade the girl in front of her. Jane was known for her love to bake but to her friend she was known for being quite pushy in the kitchen. Once the younger one asked the question Jane knew she couldn't say no! Just look how gosh-darn adorable she is!

“Sure! First, we have to get the ingredients. Roxy, can you please grab me two eggs from the fridge?” Jane quickly said without thinking.

“WAIT!” Jane suddenly yelled. Making Roxy jolt and stop in place.

“W-what? Am I trouble?” Roxy said, her voice pitching up as she asked the question.

“No no not at all! I just didn't want you to accidentally break the eggs because I'm not sure how old you are!” Jane was quick to reassure her that she wasn’t mad at her.

“Uhm I’m uhmmmmmmmm…five!!” Roxy squealed out. Jane continued to grab the ingredients, with the help of Roxy of course!

“Alright, I think we have all the ingredients! I’m going to list them out, tell me if we have them.” Roxy nodded in response.

“Okay, let’s start! Do we have two cups of flour?” “Yep!”

“1/2 teaspoon of salt?” “Uhm I think?”. Jane looked over to where the salt was.

“Yep we have it, Roxy!” “Oh okay!!”

“Two tablespoons of baking powder” “Uhmmmm yeah!”

“1/2 cup of butter?” “uh huh!”

3/4 cup of sugar?” “Yep!!!!”

“Two eggs?” “duh, Janey!!”

“A cup of milk?” “yea”

“Well, it looks like we have all the ingredients! I'm going to start preheating the oven then we can start mixing!” Jane stepped over to the oven, preheating it to 375.

“Okay, we can start mixing! Honey, can you help me pour the ingredients in?” Jane turned to Roxy, who nodded excitedly. So they both started pouring in the ingredients, with minor spills. In reality, it was mainly Roxy pouring in the ingredients with Jane's supervision, Although Jane thought Roxy did well especially considering that she was tiny.

“Can I stir now!? Pleaseeeeeeee janeyyyyyyyy” Roxy questioned, practically jumping from excitement. Jane ruffled the younger ones hair before replying.

“Yea.., but umm well honey I think it would be better if you got the icing ready, while I stirred, just to avoid any mess. Is that alright?” Roxy nodded a bit lost by what Jane meant.

“You get to color the icing any color you want!” Jane added, setting out a box of food dye. Roxy happily ran over to the pantry and grabbed out a tub of vanilla icing while Jane was stirring the cupcake batter. She sat the container on the counter beside of jane. Roxy opened up the box of food dye and grabbed the pink one before Jane stopped her. Roxy whined at Jane for taking the dye away, Jane quickly explained why.

“I took it away because I don't want you to go to crazy with the dye, Hoo Hoo! A few drops will work fine.” Jane unscrewed the cap and squirted a few drop in.

“Can you mix up the icing while I put the cupcakes in the oven?” Roxy quickly nodded, taking a spoon and stirring while Jane was doing what she said. After a few minutes Jane went to grab her timer which was in another room. That gave Roxy time to form an amazing idea, She really wanted something sweet and Jane wasn’t here so why not steal a few bites of icing!! And that’s exactly what she did, after a few bites Jane walked in.

“And what exactly do you think you’re doing little missy?” Jane loudly said, making Roxy jump.

“I uhm I was uh I was just uhm….making sure the icing wasn’t expired!! Uh huh” Roxy said confidently as if she didn’t stutter a million times.

“Sure you were hoo hoo! If you actually wanna help me you can but if you just want cupcakes you can wait in the living for them and the boys to get home!” Roxy picked the second option, she ran over to the window to wait and watch!

About 10 minutes later Jane pulled the cupcakes out of the oven and started frosting them, with Roxy watching closely, to “inspect” of course. Jane sat the younger one at the table and gave her a cupcake with pink frosting.

“YAY!!!! Thank you mama!!” Roxy squealed, shoving the cupcake in her mouth.

“Of course honey!” Jane softly patted Roxy head. Jane was about to pester Jake when suddenly the front door opened, it was Jake.

“Hello ladies, how have you chums been?” Jake questioned, setting his stuff down.

“We made cupcakes!!!!!!” Roxy said excitedly, jumping up and running to give Jake one.

“Well thank you, my little lady,” Jake said while biting into the cupcake.

with that said i think she would have some level of tolerance for it, i mean she has much larger issues with being new the circus. shes going to have to either accept that this is her new home for the rest of her life, or try to find an exit so she can return to her old life in the real world

but with tolerance comes limits, so there will likely be times where she may get a little irritated with you. nothing too too terrible, but she might strain her voice trying to tell you to give her space or knock it off... speaking of space, that might be something she will need if you go a little far

as for your fox bits! i think she would pet and scratch around your ears! do foxes like ear scratches like dogs and cats do? well for the sake of the post lets say yes! thinks its cute when your ears start twitching

mutters a soft "oh no..." when she sees you start doing the airplane ears. love the idea that you as the reader do that when youre cooking something up in your brain; be it mischief or otherwise!

probably messes with your tail when youre nearby and shes feeling anxious; mostly just petting the fur and running her fingers through it

youve probably accidentally smacked her in the face with it when turning... you didnt mean it! shes just so darn short!
