Dante and Lucia have some amazing parallels that i just rattle in my head every day...

Like both dante and lucia are very lonely people...even if Lucia has matier by her side, it must've been lonely trying to protect Dumary by herself, which is parallel with Dante's, but for him, he has Trish and Lady now. But the thing is, Dante likes pushing people away when things get dire, just like with Nero and anyone he cares about...he would rather do the protecting himself, and he will take the bullet if he has too.

AND SPEAKING OF PROTECTING both of them have the sense of responsibility of protecting the world/Dumary and its just GRRRRR makes me go insane on how both of them have the weight of protector on their shoulders it makes me so insane...

ALSO the parallel of them being worried about their demon heritage...my god...both were scared, with Lucia asking Dante to kill her in dmc 2 and with Dante having to control his demon urges, I find them so...interesting where both of them are scared of losing control and hurting the people they love 😔 they both wanna feel and be human and its making me ugshhsjsjjssj

But i think the biggets parallel they both have is their love for their moms...i mean we have seen Lady express her love for her mama but for Lucia and Dante...we get to see how both moms (Matier and Eva) were willing to protect their kids and its just...makes me tear up fr...I love luciadante even if its onesided it just shows how if dante were to get over his avoidant tendencies he and lucia wouldve been a good couple...protector couple in fact ‼️‼️‼️
