HELLO HI HELLO I AM!!! RECOVERING CURRENTLY!!!!

So I haven't posted in a small moment and planned to get myself going again soon but right now I am recovering from an accident (I won't get into the nitty gritty) that has left me quite shaken. FIRST OFF I AM OKAY! Minor injuries so nothing alarming I am physically fine besides being sore for a bit and some scrapes and bruises that are still healing, including my arms which is making drawing a bit difficult. I'm slowly getting better but cant really draw for long periods and honestly I might not draw much for a bit till I feel better both physically and mentally. its the mentally part that might take some time. But I'm resting, rest assured!

ANYWAY this is more just an update cause I know i've been a lil absent. ESPECIALLY after this accident. I'm not abandoning the blog by any means, def still check on tumblr but couldn't seem to muster the energy to interact with much at the moment as my brain is a little rattled up.

I hope yall are all okay! I hope your days are bright and yall are taking care of yourselves!

I promise I'm doing what I can to take care of me!

Anyway hello hi hello! This is Ivy Darling, yes yes he's the apple of Dandy and Wally's silly eyes. A pal of mine made a sort of AU where they made a stork puppet so we could design little fan babies so here we are!!!

TECHNICALLY Ivy isn't super canon to Dandy's story? But Ivy is so very comforting for me to draw if I'm very honest. Just...happy family moments ya know?? Idk idk. He's here and he's just a little guy.

Anywho, the Special Delivery AU that this is based off of belongs to @parrotparfait

OH I ALMOST FORGOT the second child in the sketches, the one holding Ivy's hand, is his half sister Bloom who's Dandy and Gloom's fan child designed by @theknifeclown jknfdjn Gosh the baby au lore is silly.

No but for real I'm absolutely SPINNING over how cute this makeship Wally plush is and I'm so glad that this precious little thing will exist and I got to spend my hard earned money on one. Now I just gotta...wait. *Sits in front of my door for months*

*Throwing together all my sleepy time themed silly Dandy doodles at yall!*

I'm so actually happy to have the reading one finished you have no idea I'm SO CHEESED. I read that Wally prefers to have people read to him and you KNOW I had to draw some cute ship stuff about it.

And I'm sure it's SUPER obvious that the Barnaby cuddle doodle is super inspired by the piece Clown did of Wally and Barnaby snuggled together. I just think it's cute to think they all three have sleepovers and are super comfy together like that. Idk. Makes my heart happy.

Now that I'm no longer under tornado threat (IM OKAY!! Weather got scary but I'm all good!)

But I don't talk enough about the start of Dandy and Wally's relationship, or before their relationship specifically. How Dandy kinda avoided Wally and the other neighbors after first moving in. A hard neighbor to get to know. Even after first introducing themselves to everyone after a bit of gentle pushing from an eager Wally and Barnaby, they still tended to keep to themselves. They just kinda found the other neighbors to be a bit...too much.

I think their first friends were Poppy and Eddie. And Eddie, seeing Dandy's garden, insisted they got to know Frank which got Dandy around Julie more as well. (Though Julie took a lot of getting used to.)

ANYWAY! That is to say, I always felt like it took ages for Wally and Dandy to hang out. The main thing that deterred Dandy, funny enough, is Wally would constantly go up to Dandys house to knock and ask if they wanted to join whatever it is he and the others were doing. And the answer was always an excuse and a polite no. And Wally took that no. But also never stopped asking. Every day. Because he was determined for Dandy to feel included like how he includes Home! Even if he couldn't understand why Dandy never seemed interested.
