HEADCANONS: daisy’s early life in decimation isn’t too different from canon in many respects. she was left at the saint agnes orphanage in new york city as an infant, with no knowledge of her parentage. though she went to many foster homes, she stayed in the system and bounced back to the orphanage through out her childhood until just a year before aging out, she ran away. daisy is a proficient gambler and is known to win most of her possessions in bets - from her laptop to the van she lived in for many years. in an effort to try learning more about her past and where she came from, she fell in with a group of hackers that believed in the freedom of information to the people and often worked at exposing corrupt organizations and governments. she learned most of what she knew from them,  although in this life, without shield to show her a better path to the get the answers she wanted, daisy leaned further into the illegal ‘activist’ groups, where she still genuinely believed she could make a difference in the world. she’s learned some fighting techniques over time to protect herself, retaining some muscle memory of her canon life without realizing why. daisy also currently doesn’t have access to her inhuman abilities, although can’t shake the feeling of a buzzing under her skin, as if she’s subconsciously always aware of the vibrations in things around her.

WHAT THEY’RE PLANNING TO DO IN DECIMATION: daisy came to decimation in hopes of escaping her former life, and the legal trouble she got herself into with her activism, and start anew. she’s gotten a job at the coffee house and has been trying to lay low, yet has the vivid fantasies and waking dreams of a different life and the distinct feeling that something is missing.
