~ Solas sighs, glancing away from Sindri. He wonders where a thirteen year old child has gained such a sense of responsibility; he supposes, like most things, it is his fault. ~

~ " It is not that I do not enjoy your company, da'len, " he begins gently. " But the Evanuris are not your responsibility to bear. You are but a child -- I enjoy spending time with you, but I would not ask that you take on the burden on my duty. Do not think I have not noticed you researching in library in the dead of night. " His expression softens a bit as he places a hand on her shoulder. " There is no debt that you owe, nor burden that you must shoulder here. Mastering your magic is enough of a task for one at your age. " ~

~ Solas broke his gaze from Sindri's, looking away almost in shame. ~

~ " Your mother and I... ". A sigh leaves him before he finally looks toward his daughter once more. " ...It is complicated.
