I tend to draw my Lancelot a little older with a teenage Galahad, but!!! Young, hot Dad Lancelot and a cute little Gilly is also so cute!!!

So, a variant design test! I’m still working out scars/other features, but he will definitely have long hair! And by that I mean his quills hang down lower and he’s got little, uh, wispy quills down the front.

Lance and Gawain were checking out reports of marauders terrorizing far off border villages and #were sent to reassert Camelot's control on the area... they come across a razed village that's still burning and find a lost and scared #little hedgehog... Gawain is better with kids since he has so many younger brothers and coaxes the terrified kid out and tries to comfort #this little kid but he latches onto lancelot because hedgehog! so lancelot awkwardly tries to comfort this kid and just... lets him hang on #it takes them a while to track down the bandits and they grow incredibly fond and protective of the child (which hasn't said a single word #obviously still very scared and traumatized) and they deal with the bandits and make sure to avenge him and his village! and then they #find a good home for him. There's an abbey not too far away and the nuns are kind and have other children in their care and will gladly take #him. but at the gate when Lancelot puts him down and pats his head to give encouragement the child throws his arms around his neck and is #crying and finally speaks: daddy no!! and well... Lancelot thinks of his mother who took him in when he had no one else #who soothed his fears and wiped away his tears and held him tight... and he holds *his* kid tight and rubs his back and just abruptly leave #let's go home now.#i'm sorry.#Gawain just sighs and smooths things over with the abbey #and quickly catches up... and idk. the kid doesn't ever give them his name so Lancelot and Gawain give him one: Galahad!#that's all. thank you smash for reading all my tags i am sorry i subject you to so many but please know i love and admire u. <3 <3 <3 #family #vulgreat au
