matt was bored. and on youtube. having stumbled upon a video titled "MATT AND YN BEING DISGUSTING(LY IN LOVE)!!!??? tw happy couple (ew)" he decided he had nothing better to do than watch this.

clip one; sleeping beauties

the clip started with nick going down the stairs and screaming for matt. what he didn't know was yn, matt's girlfriend had stayed over.

expecting matt to be awake, he pushed the door open with his vlog camera on.

there laid matt and yn, all cuddled up on the bed. the blanket covered their tangled legs yet the way matt held his girl against his chest was enough to make everyone jealous of the couple. near them mr wrinkleton, matt's pug plushie and ms bubbles, yn's rabbit plushie cuddled too, almost making it look just like the couple in plushie forms.

a small laugh left nick, as he zoomed the camera into their faces.

clip two; twitch stream

matt was streaming on twitch with his brothers while his girlfriend went out on lunch with her friends.

coming back home, yn did not expect to hear shouts from each brother's room. assuming they were only playing video games with each other, she yelled "honeyyyyyy i'm homeeeeee" right as she entered in matt's room. not giving him any time to answer the girl skipped her way to her boyfriend and sat on his lap; all excited to tell him about the latest gossip session she had with her girls.

but that could wait for a while.

he looked so beautiful that she couldn't help but wrap her arms around his neck, giving a sweet kiss on his lips. pulling away she kissed his cheeks and mumbled "god you're so cute".

giggling softly, the boy pulled her face up and said "thank you baby" she was about to say something when chris screamed "OH MY VIRGIN EYES". laughing at the way her eyes got wide, matt explained "we're streaming baby"

clip three; birthday gift

sometimes yn vloged. since the triplets' birthday was coming soon, she decided to vlog the entire process of shopping for the brothers.

twelve minutes into the video, she was all set and ready with meaningful gifts for each brother. once she put all the gifts in separate bags for each brother, she smiled at the camera. "finally. it was such a tiring day. now only one thing is left to do. y'all remember the paints i brought? well we're doing a fun little craft." taking out the red and pink paints, she went to grab a plain black tshirt.

cutting a heart stencil out of a paper, she stuck the paper to the tshirt's back. applying the fabric paint on her lips she started kissing the cloth between the cutout paper heart. applying different shades of pink and red, she filled kisses in the shape of a heart. laughing at her now smudged 'lipstick' she showed the camera her now ready gift.

"gonna let it dry now. i think i will maybe do something in the front also. not sure. will keep you guys updated!!"

safe to say, matt loved his gift so much that he demanded another kiss tshirt so that he could wear her kisses every day.

clip four; beach

this was a short clip from the hawaii vlog. the triplets, yn, maddie and nate where walking to the beach near hotel. well not all of them were walking through.

yn decided she was too tired to walk today and matt being the absolute angel he is, let her to hop on his back as he carried the girl to the beach.

maddie had vlogged matt carrying his girl on his back, humming to whatever she had to say. the camera captured matt listening carefully to his girlfriend as she spoke animatedly about penguins. the last thing the camera captured was yn repeatedly kissing the boy's cheek as he smiled before chris pushed the couple claiming "it was sick to watch people in love"

clip five; beach again

this was a clip from the same vlog as the last. matt and yn were seen enjoying in the water. splashing water against eachother their joyous laughs could be heard.

suddenly matt lifted the girl up, enjoying her screams of fear. dropping her a little, matt laughed harder as his girl tightened her hold on his neck. "matt i swear to god if you throw me in the water" laughing at her empty threats, matt dropped her down a little.

"but baby i love you" he said as he completely dropped her down.

clip six; deaf, mute and blind challenge

yn sometimes participated in the triplets' videos. right now she was a part of the deaf mute and blind challenge. nick and chris were deaf, matt was mute and she was blind.

it was tough to be blind when she was only one who could actually cook something but nothing goes according to her wish, right?

which brings us to this moment. yn, desperately trying to find the bowl which contained the pancake mixture. looking at his struggling girlfriend, matt came behind her and pulled the bowl towards them. putting the whisk in her hand, he grabbed her from behind and helped her whisk the ingredients together. mumbling a small thank you the girl was finally relieved as the process was almost over.

all while nick and chris danced and screamed to doja cat.

clip seven; grwm

yn was filming a get ready with me to go to a date. while she was putting the make up on, her boyfriend entered the room. saying a quick hi to him she turned back to explain her makeup process to her followers.

"—oh y'all need to try this mascara. it's sooooo good. i literally cried—" hugging the girl matt cut off her rant. he squeezed the girl in his arms as she turned around to place a kiss on his cheek. laughing at the bright red stain her lipstick left on his cheeks she tried to grab a tissue to wipe it off. protesting against it, the boy pulled her closer to him.

clip eight; dancing in the snow

the clip was from a random vlog yn posted. it started off with yn putting her vlog camera on the car's bonet and running towards matt. the two, fully covered in wools from head to toe danced in the snow without any music.

matt twirled his girl, a small laugh leaving him as the girl lost balance and collided with him, pushing the two to the ground.

it may seem silly to others, dancing without any music or laughing like madmen in the snow but to them this was the best moment of their life.

as the video ended, matt pouted at the screen. he now missed his girlfriend. he decided to facetime his girl not knowing chris was right behind him and he recorded matt smiling and blushing at moments with his girlfriend. probably this would end up in another compilation of matt and yn being in love.

After what seemed like forever you and Jimin were having a day together at his place. He put out a spread of various foods and drinks while the two of you talked and caught up with each other.

“How have things been between you and Yoongi?”

“Slightly better I guess. We have meals together sometimes and we talk a little more.”

“He doesn’t shut up about you at work.”

“What do you mean?”, you asked taking a bite of your dumpling.

Jimin giggled, “I don’t know, he’s just always asking about you. Like how you’re doing or if you mentioned anything about him. It’s kind of cute. Like a teenager with a crush.”

“I mean we live together and we’re already married. Why doesn’t he just ask me himself?”

“I don’t know. Yoongi’s always been kind of weird that way.”

“Oh yeah I completely forgot to tell you that he was livid last night about you introducing me to Taehyung. Said he was going to kill you and then fire you. I still don’t know why he got so upset about the whole thing.”

“Well because Taehyung is extremely handsome and also very straight forwardly friendly and kind. He’s a lot of what Yoongi isn’t and Yoongi knows that. I think he was a little worried you’d run off because he knows he wouldn’t stand a chance if Taehyung made a move on you.”

His words caused you to stop and think for a moment. Yoongi jealous? “I mean why would he care so much? I feel like he’s been trying to get rid of me since day one so Taehyung would just be doing him a favor.”

“I don’t know. I think he’s starting to come around a little. Maybe you’re slowly melting away at his ice cold heart.”

You remembered what Seokjin had told you about Yoongi coming around eventually.

“Yeah well tell that to all the women he already cheated on me with. I’m sure that’s still going on somehow.”

“Trust me I know. I’ve had many words with him about that. Now as far as I know he hasn’t been with any women in a couple months. He even transferred out one of his favorite interns because she wasn’t taking no for an answer and kept coming on to him.”

The laugh that you let out bellowed through the room, “Yeah okay. I’ll believe it when I see it.”

After finishing up all the food that was left and helping him clean up you said goodbye to Jimin and headed home. You felt better, lighter even, after spending the day with him. It was definitely something you needed. Getting home you were surprised to find Yoongi sitting on the couch watching a basketball game. He was dressed comfortably in sweats and a tshirt. It was off as you’ve alway seen him in expensive suits. Even his casual wear was usually still designer and well styled. You’ve never seen him look so plain before but he looked happier somehow.

When he noticed you he smiled and told you there was some takeout in the fridge that he had ordered for you just in case you were hungry.

You thanked him and headed off to your room wanting to take a hot shower and get ready for bed as you weren’t really hungry after eating at Jimins all day.

Just as you were about to get under the covers a soft knock appeared at your door. Yoongi was standing there holding a mug which he quickly handed over to you and you smiled at the warm milk staring back at you. You had a feeling that he wanted something more than to just bring you a glass of milk at 11pm.

Your instincts were right because he began to nervously scratched at the side of his neck, “So Y/N our first anniversary is coming up and I was wondering if maybe you would like to go on a trip with me. To celebrate. It’s okay if you don’t want to. I’d fully understand. I just thought maybe we could go somewhere or I don’t know. Again it’s okay if you don’t want to go. I haven’t planned anything yet. I just thought I’d ask to see what you’d say. It’s probably a dumb idea.”

At this point he was rambling so fast you could barely make out what he was saying. Maybe it was the fact that you were so tired or that you were still on a high from the great day you had with Jimin but you agreed. “Sure Yoongi. I’ll go with you. Sounds nice.”

You could see the tension leave his body as well as the surprised look on his face showing that he fully expected you to decline his offer. “Okay, I’ll let you know the details once I have them figured out.”

Nodding you shut the door and climbed in bed with your mind racing. Another week stuck on vacation with Yoongi. Something you had hoped you’d never have to go through again.

A few days went by and one day during dinner Yoongi had told you that the anniversary trip was going to be a surprise. All you needed to know was to pack comfy clothes and that he’d handle the rest.

Two weeks later you were in the passenger seat as Yoongi drove the two of you to your destination. While surprised that this trip didn’t involve a plane you were also excited as this meant you werent going to have to suffer in tropical hell again.

After a four hour car ride you pulled up in front of a large cabin.

“I know it’s not the Alps but I thought it would be nice to go somewhere more low key and quiet. I wanted a redo of our honeymoon since I had purposely picked somewhere I knew you’d hate.”

“I knew you did that on purpose.”, you smirked.

Yoongi opened the front door for you with the code he was given while he went back to the car to grab the bags. The cabin was what you’d always dreamed about. There was a large fireplace with a stack of wood ready to be burned sitting next to it. A big comfy couch adorned with fluffy blankets and pillows sat in front. The kitchen was massive and to your surprise already fully stocked with food. Making your way upstairs to the master bedroom you were excited to see a balcony.

Stepping out you were greeted with the most breath taking view you’d ever seen. Snow covered mountains were framed by tall and full pine trees. Off in the distance a family of deer ran through the snow. You felt like you were looking at a Christmas card. It was quiet and peaceful and everything you could hope for.

While taking in the beauty you didn’t notice Yoongi step out onto the balcony behind you. He startled you as he spoke, “Do you like it?” “Yeah it’s incredible.”, you smiled. It didn’t take long for him to violently start shivering which got a big laugh out of you even though he tried his best to hide it.

“Come on you big baby. Let’s go back inside.”

Once back in the warmth of the cabin Yoongi told you to take a shower or a nap or whatever you wanted and he’d start on dinner.

You opted for a nice hot bath letting the water soothe you. The lavender oil provided by the host adding a nice comforting touch. When you were cleaned and changed into some comfy clothes you went down to the bottom level finding that Yoongi had built a fire and was just putting the finishing touches on the meal.

You both ate quietly before you grabbed a blanket and went to the couch to watch a movie while he cleaned up before joining you. There was an awkward feeling in you. Even though the two of you were married you’d never really spent quality time like this together. You weren’t sure if you should sit right next to him or maybe on the other side of the couch but is that too awkward? Should you share a blanket or get him his own? Let him pick the movie or should you? You felt kind of ridiculous because it shouldn’t be so hard to watch a movie with your husband but at the same time it’s Yoongi.

You wrapped yourself up in the fluffy green blanket and decided to just take a seat on the right side of the couch and let him make the next move. Yoongi walked in a few minutes later handing you a mug of warm milk before taking a seat on the other end of the couch.

“I already chose a movie. I hope that’s okay. It’s one I’ve been wanting to see for a while.”, he said.

“Yeah sure that’s fine.”, you shrugged secretly happy that you wouldn’t have to awkwardly try to pick something together.

After he clicked play you chuckled when you heard the familiar music.

“Seriously Harry Potter?”, you asked.

“Yeah I’ve never seen it before and I’ve been told I resemble one of the characters so I thought we’d check it out.”

Snuggling in deeper to your blanket you smiled and began to watch as the movie unfolded.

The two of you made it through the first movie and decided to also get through the second when about half way through you felt a sudden chill. Since you’d planned to go to bed after this movie you stopped adding wood to the fire and it was noticeably colder in the room. Looking over you noticed the goosebumps climbing up Yoongi’s arm and you realized he was without a blanket.

Knowing that you were probably going to regret it later you scooted over so you were sitting closer to him. Not touching but close enough that you could share your blanket so you reached over and placed half on his lap.

“Here you look cold.”

“Thank you.”, he said with a smile and pulled the blanket up to cover himself.

Once the movie was over and after a passionate review on his part you made your way upstairs when the realization hit you. This cabin only had one bed. Yoongi who was not far behind you stopped when he noticed you standing there.

“Oh um how are we going to sleep tonight? I mean with only one bed?”, you asked.

“Well I thought we could share the bed together. Sorry I guess I should’ve asked you first. I can sleep down on the couch if you’re uncomfortable.”

For a second you really did consider making him sleep on the couch but ultimately decided that the bed was big enough for the two of you to comfortably share.

After completing your nightly routines you got in bed leaving a healthy space between the two of you. Both on your backs staring up at ceiling in silence until Yoongi spoke.

“Red”

You looked over at him with furrowed brows, “I’m sorry, what?”

Not removing his eyes from the spot on the ceiling he continued, “My favorite color is red. When we first went on a date you asked me and I made a sarcastic remark instead of telling you so I’m telling you now.”

You hummed.

“I also do really like to drink whiskey but if I had to choose I would never pass up a glass of ice cold chocolate milk.”

You snorted and he laughed, “You have no room to make fun of me Miss Mug of Warm Milk Before Bed.”

“I love basketball and music. Those are my interests. Growing up I wanted to be a music producer maybe even a rapper but my parents put a stop to that and made sure I would be set up to take over the company instead. Sometimes I regret that I let them stop me. Maybe I’d be a happier person if I went against their wishes.”

“I think you’re pretty good at what you do though. I mean you seem successful. But you should definitely rap for me one day. I’d pay to hear that.”

“I don’t think you could handle my lyrics.”, he said causing you both to erupt into laughter.

After a while of silence he continued, “Y/N I want to apologize for the way I treated you this first year. I know these are just words and you’re going to need a lot more than that from me but I’m going to do my best.”

“I heard from Jimin that you haven’t been hooking up with other women any more. Is that true?”

“Mmhm yeah it is. I haven’t been with anyone in a couple months.”

“Can I ask you another question?”, you asked.

“Go for it.”

“Why were you so determined to make this marriage miserable?”

He let go of a long sigh, “Well it’s kind of a long story. But uh when I was sixteen I met this girl, Mia. After a few months I finally worked up the courage to ask her out and she said yes. We dated for a while and when we were nineteen I wanted to propose. We were young but I knew I loved her more than anything in this world and I wanted to spend my life with her because there’d never be anyone else that I could possibly love that much. She was my everything. So I had this big elaborate proposal planned. She thought I was out of town on a business trip but I had lied about that and I left her a note in our apartment telling her to meet me on the rooftop of our building and I had the whole area decorated with roses and there was a dinner planned and I had a piano set up to play her a song that I wrote and then I’d get down on one knee. But after she was like 45 minutes late I went down to the apartment to see what was going on and she didn’t even read the note because she was too busy fucking some guy in our bed. Then she confessed that she’d been cheating on me the entire relationship and was only with me for the money and perks of my family. So after that I swore I’d never love anyone ever again. If I don’t love anyone then they can’t possibly hurt me like that. So after I met you I wanted you to hate me and treat me like you hated me because then I’d never fall for you but no matter what I did you’d still always be kind and be there waiting for me and putting in effort to make this work. I found myself starting to realize that maybe not everyone is out to just use me and that someone could actually love me.”

You sat in silence trying to find the right words. “I’m sorry Yoongi. That did sound like a really nice proposal though. A lot better than here’s this contract, sign on the dotted line like mine.”

He chucked, “Nah looking back it was pretty cheesy anyways. Maybe one day I’ll give you the proposal you deserve.”

“Okay but I want a song. And there better be a rap verse.”

“Deal. Any thing for you.”

The room fell into a silence after that.

“Anything you’d like to ask me?”, you questioned with a smile wanting to change the subject.

“Nope” he said but thankfully you could hear the playful smile in his voice.

“What is your family like?

You knew he was trying to ask about the orphanage thing without directly bringing it up so you decided to just spill it.

“Umm well my parents were great from what I remember. They were killed in a car accident when I was around five. Then I lived with my Aunt Erica until I was eight when she passed away from cancer. No one else in my family was willing or able to take me in so I was sent to live in an orphanage which is where I stayed until I turned eighteen. Then I met Jimin in college and we became really good friends. When he moved away I was pretty much on my own until I came here. So I guess we’re both just a couple broken hearted people, just in different ways.”

He didn’t respond right away and you weren’t sure if maybe you said too much until he spoke again.

“I’m really sorry Y/N. No one should have to go through something like that. I wish I could take away that pain.”

“It’s alright. Nothing can change it now.”

The two of you talked for a little while longer until finally falling asleep feeling a little closer.

The following day Yoongi took you sightseeing through the little mountain town. You ate lunch at a very cute cafe owned by the sweetest elderly woman who recognized Yoongi and kept gushing about how out of all the places to eat he chose her cafe. She even made him take a photo with her to hang on the wall. The woman wrapped her arms around his mid section clinging to him for dear life while completing how toned he felt which caused Yoongi to turn a shade of red you didn’t think was possible for a person. You got a good kick out of it at least.

After getting back to the cabin you changed out of your snow soaked clothes and agreed to continue watching the next Harry Potter film as a continuation of the night before. This time though without thinking you sat down next to Yoongi and immediately covered both of you with the blanket before grabbing the tray of cookies and various pastries he had bought at the cafe earlier. He gave you a smile before taking one of the cookies in his mouth.

You guys got through two more movies before deciding to call it a night and getting into bed.

When you fell asleep you were on opposite sides of the bed. So you were extremely confused when you woke up a couple hours later and Yoongi was now spooning you while holding you as close against him as you could get. His arms tightly wrapped around your waist as his breath tickled the back of your neck.

Part of you wanted to scramble out of the bed and get as far away from him as you could but another part of you was really enjoying the warmth and comfort of being in his arms.

You tried to distance yourself and push away from him a little but his arms only snaked around you tighter pulling you back.

In your attempt to push away you may have accidentally stirred something in him. Slowly he began placing kisses along the back of your neck and down your shoulder. His hand running down the side of your hip before his fingers began dancing on your thighs. Your body seemed to melt into him.

“Yoongi”, you whispered trying to get a better grasp of what his intentions were. Maybe he was just dreaming you thought. He placed another two kisses to the back of your neck, “Is this okay? I’ll stop if you want.” You really thought about it. Your heart was telling you no but your brain and the rest of your body was saying yes. “You really haven’t slept with anyone else in the last couple months?”, you questioned. “I swear on everything.”, he answered.

Turning over to face him you suddenly felt an extreme wave of nervousness come over you.

“We don’t have to do anything if you’re not comfortable Y/N.”

You nodded, “I want to.”

He kissed your lips before adjusting himself to be on top of you. He began placing kisses along your neck past your collarbone. His hands reaching for the hem of your night shirt lightly gripping the edge. “Can I?”, he asked. You nodded slightly sitting up so he could pull the shirt off you.

“You really are beautiful Y/N.”, he said as his hands traced over your body.

As the kisses between you became more and more intense and his hands seemed to have more courage you felt him begin push himself against you and any apprehension you had went away. It had been so long since you’d been touched like this and you wanted him bad.

The rest of your clothes were removed as were his and your bodies reconnected like a magnet had pulled you two together. Whether it was the fact that it had been so long for you or the way that he took his time making sure to pleasure every inch of your body, it was the best and also most intense experience you had ever had.

Afterwards he pulled you close against him while you both tried to slow down your rapid breathing. He placed another kiss to your shoulder before nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck. Just before he fell asleep you heard the faintest whisper, “I love you Y/N.”

After that you had a hard time falling asleep. Things in your relationship were moving a little too fast for your liking. This is what you had always hoped for and what you had always wanted but after everything that had happened with him you knew you would have to move forward carefully.

Having fallen asleep at some point you were woken up when Yoongi began moving and got out of the bed making his way to bathroom. A few minutes later the shower kicked on so you sat up stretching in the bed to wait your turn.

The nightstand next to you kept vibrating and you saw Yoongi’s phone laying face down.

You started to get annoyed but then you worried that something may be wrong. You grabbed his phone preparing to knock on the bathroom door when you happened to glance at the phone screen. There were several texts and missed calls nothing that concerned you as he was a busy guy after all. Until something red caught your eye. A text from someone name Suri. In the text a photo of a woman dressed in a barely there red lace lingerie set. You thought back to Yoongi telling you his favorite color was red. The text included with the photo is what caused the room to spin around you.

“Last week was amazing. Can’t wait to see you again. I went out and got a new outfit for you and in red just like you like it. Maybe don’t rip this one. ♥️😘”

After tossing the phone onto the bed you grabbed your suitcase and started throwing all of your belongings into it. You felt sick. You felt like crying. You felt like throwing something. He lied to you. He lied to you before, during, and after.

Yoongi unknowing of the events that just transpired came walking out of the bathroom towel drying his hair. “Y/N I think we should go back to that cafe for breakfast, they had a croissant sandwich I think you’ll really like, and then maybe walk down to that lake it looked really nic-.” He stopped when he saw you stuffing your bag.

“What are you doing?”

You looked up at him with a tear stained face.

“Y/N what happened? Did someone do something to you?”

“Yeah Yoongi, You!! I can’t believe you. What kind of sick game are you playing? Just when I thought you were changing for the better. That maybe deep down you were a good person and not a self centered jerk.”

“Y/N what’s going on? I don’t understand what happened?”

“Oh cut the bullshit Yoongi. You know if you wanted to just use me for sex we could’ve stayed at home and hate fucked each other or something. You didn’t have to bring me out here and make me think you were actually falling in love with me.”

“Y/N I do love you and I have been trying to change. I’m trying to show you that.”

“Fuck you Yoongi. I’m not doing this any more. Next time you need someone to stick your dick into go ahead and call Suri. It looks like she’s replaced the lingerie set that you ripped LAST WEEK! Yoongi took a step forward to try and reach out to you but you put your hands up to separate yourself.

Before you grabbed the door handle you stopped and turned to face him, “You know I actually felt really bad for you after you told me about Mia and what she did to you. You slammed the door behind you and stormed out of the house. Thankfully the bus station wasn’t too far of a walk and the cold air gave you a chance to calm down anyways and also have an excuse as to why your face was so red. After buying a ticket you took a seat on a bench near the window to wait for your bus. You really wished you would’ve taken a shower before storming out of the cabin. The smell of cinnamon and vanilla heavily staining your skin, a painful reminder of your mistake from the night before.

goes to stay with katelyn's family for the summer before he has to be back in SC for the trial but they leave early because her parents and a couple older relatives don't approve. he calls matt, who agrees to pick him up and take him to stay with randy in NY until the trial. katelyn tries to come with him but he tells her to stay with her family. she meets him in SC when he comes back

oh my god the dude had such an emo phase. he never dyed his hair but he definitely spent like a year wearing all black when he was 14 and the release of three cheers for sweet revenge in 2004? absolutely life changing. the black parade came out right before halloween in TRK, that album was doing SO MUCH for him

later on he's absolutely Terrified of being a father (even though he's good at it). after they find out they're having twin girls, katelyn has to stay overnight in the hospital, so the nurses tell him to go home and rest but he's too freaked to sleep. he calls wymack instead and wymack picks him up and on the drive back to he and abby's house, aaron talks about all of it– his mom, his fear of being like her, and he's terrified of the twins ending up like him and andrew, terrified that shitty siblings runs in the family. he spends the night with wymack and abby, who take care of him, promise to help out and babysit when aaron and katelyn need, and wymack basically says "look man if i can deal with the foxes for five years, you can take care of your girls". they're born a couple months later, wymack and abby keep their promise, and aaron is exactly as good a dad as they said he would be

anyway earlier me an my friends were discussing what kinda clothes the main cast of omor would wear bc.... yk half of the cast is in fucking npc ass attire, and we went back and forth about it a lot and now i feel obligated to share this with other people to see if they might agree with my headcanons

mari - for mari i feel like she's very much a cardigan girly, sundresses all the time, probably like sweetheart and square necklines on a lot of her shirts, and she consistently puts lots of time into her appearance, more so for her own pleasure than anything else. however if she doesnt get to change out of pajamas she'd probably get a little upset and feel unproductive as a result - idk she just seems very schedule oriented and i feel her clothing style and habits would match that. she 100% irons clothes, if somethings wrinkly shes not wearing it, and she'd lean into the academia aesthetic. she also gives summer vibes to me, but that might just be because the main canon images of her are during summertime - also lots of purples and yellows, purples her fav color and yellow is the complementary color, plus a color associated with bright light and summertime

hero - he'd probably have a more basic style of fashion, but still look very cute in it. like big sweatshirts, long coats, button ups, wide leg jeans, collared shirts, clean shoes, all in all a very clean look. he prob has some of mari's jackets in his closet that he wears pretty frequently. also he would always wear earrings BECAUSE I SAID SO I THINK ITS AWESOME he might also be a bit into academia fashion, but less over-the-top "i'm the top professor of this college" look and more just autumnal tones and mildly professional attire. also i feel like hero would iron some of kel's clothes if he noticed they were very wrinkled, which might result in hero running out of time to iron clothes for himself, in which he just switches his outfit last minute. this is hyperspecific but but but but but yes

kel - this man does not know fashion, all his tips are from hero, which hero got from mari. his wardrobe probably consists of graphic tees he found funny or pretty, hand-me-downs from hero, and plain shirts and jeans, probably with a couple rips in them from him being reckless. also he always wears some sort of brace, either on his arm or leg he is consistently getting hurt in some minor way /j dirty converses real!! also probably some pen/pencil marks on articles of clothing from getting bored and deciding to doodle randomly on them. also bracelets from random fundraisers or from crafts with the rest of the gang

aubrey - shes actually kinda hard for me to figure out, but i ffeel like aubrey would be wearing a lot of graphic tshirts and tank tops, but like those ones with extra detail yk the ones the grunge ones yeah those, and like huge cargo pants or wide leg jeans, chains hanging from pockets, necklaces and bracelets, and generally ripped things. so kinda punk but also still very fem and not very out there in terms of fashion styles . however this would only be half the time, this half is when she's really feeling like putting in effort to look nice, probably being like "im gonna be like mari today" and spending a good chunk of time putting together an outfit and such. the other half she's fucking done with it and throws on whatever shirt she can find and some pants, tosses her hair a little bit and throws on eyeliner and is out the door, somehow looking gorgeous still. like that effortlessly pretty look even when theres nothing outstanding abt the outfit

basil - grandma ass /j he probably thrifts constantly and the antique store is one of his fav places, so it seeps into how he dresses. lots of sweatshirts with intricate embroidered or sewn in designs, coats, lots of browns and greens, and very worn things. probably wears some traditionally feminine things he finds too jsut because he thought they were nice, again think grandmacore /j he's a very green and wiggly boy, lots of layers in his outfits, and is pretty rarely seen with short sleeve shirts. also collared shirts, messenger bags, pins, custom patches, and friendship bracelets. his clothing represents who he is and can tell a lot about him for the most part, basically story telling through what he wears since he has so many accessories that come from different places. also lots of floral patterns because he's he's the flower boy the little man the flower guy . in summary cottagecore mori kei esque things

sunny - his ass is not putting together outfits /j ok so i feel like sunny is the type to save his energy for other things, i feel like socializing might be a bit draining for him but he loves his friends, so he kind of switches up how he uses his energy to accommodate. but sometimes he'd probably wanna be like mari and put himself otgether, so he probably goes shopping with her and has cute clthes, his outfits just end up being very simple with a graphic tshirt and maybe an oversized jacket. HE ALWAYS WEARS SHORTS!!!! he dislikes the feel of pants and preferred shorts, even if he's cold. if he'd cold he just kinda balls up and puts a jacket around his legs. anyway i feel like he's probably being restricted a lot by his preferences (i hc he has autism and this is one of the ways it impacts him) so he's not the most fashionable person

-stayed in touch with stan and ford all these years, he’s very close to them. they’re still around but much older and calmer

-so, yes, he’s covered in tats. yk that fanart we allllll have seen? yea they pretty much look like that, some weird ones, he rlly likes patchwork style tattoos

-probably has one on his chest or stomach/lower pelvis tbh, he’s a quirky dude

-mabel probably dared him to do something like that because she thought he’d chicken out from the pain but he did it

okay now for the specifics:

gem rlly just wears her usual kinda stuff. the overalls, tshirts, sweaters, occasional skirt if its summer and shes not doing base work. but i think she coordinates them different? like usually she chooses a bold colour or pattern for one item and the rest just are plain to compliment it. but when little its ALL colours and patterns bc she likes to be a rainbow. also i bet she has a couple pairs of PJs with cute stuff on, like a my little pony matching set and maybe as a joke she got a matching pair of grians creeper PJs to surprise/freak him out one night lol

grian probably dresses the most differently when regressed of all of them. not hugely babyish, but he has hypersensitivity to fabric when little so he wears super soft cotton tshirts - and is more adventurous w them than when big, usually he wears plain ones just a solid colour but when little he might wear ones with polka dots or stripes. maybe one or two with an image on. it becomes obvious he's little bc its quite a difference to his usual outfit. plus he has a SPECIAL red jumper just for littlespace thats almost identical to his regular one but its super soft fluffy fleecy rather than knitted, and has perpetually stretched out sleeves bc he does sweater paws constantly when little (its one of his tells)

etho generally doesnt change clothes when little, wearin his usual shirts and waterproof jackets and his vest and cargo pants. all practical stuff. BUT when he gets little he wont admit that its rlly uncomfy to cuddle up in these and waits for a cg to suggest to him to change into his PJs for the day. he always does so, was kind of waiting to be told to do so (won't admit it but he rlly needs direction when little bc Baby Brain) so he ends up in an oversized tee with comfy sweats or pj pants. nothin special. though his favourite thing to wear - and only rarely does he admit it by asking for it, more often skizz just brings it over and puts it on for him - is one of skizz's hoodies <3 its quite big on etho and is heavy and thick and he wont admit it but he finds so much comfort in the smell of his cg, it all makes him feel so relaxed. plus it feels better to be able to wrap it over his knees when hes curled up, he likes bein swallowed by it... poor baby doesnt realise he's basically swaddling himself

baby time for hockey star jm x shy booksmart mj!! (sorry if this unoriginal or boring, i will try my best).

so as soon as mj tells jm her water broke, jm is up and all action to get her baby mama to the hospital, her star athlete mentality coming in handy to not crack under pressure (even if she feels like throwing up bc of how nervous she is). she drives mj to the airport, who is trying to keep it together but already experiencing severe pains. when they get there, jm's family doesn't take long to join them, mj's parents traveling from further away so they arrive later.

when mj is all dilated and it's time to deliver the baby (which takes some times, the baby is not making it easy), jm and mj's mom go with her into the deliver room, each holding one hand. mj's sweating so much and trying her best but it's a hard delivery, and jm looks like she is gonna pass out any moment. in a brief moment of reprieve from the pain, mj threatens that she will make sure jm doesn't get to put a second baby in her if she doesn't woman up and ofc jm does, she is just so scared for both of them! finally the baby is here and it's a beautiful babygirl!! the first thing they notice is she has jm's pineapple hair (mj has seen jm's baby pics so she also recognizes it immediately) and the moment mj gets to hold her baby jm starts bawling her eyes out, she can't believe this is her family now!

when they go back home, mj's mom stays with them for a while, mj still recovering from the tough delivery, and jm being the perfect partner, doing her best to manager her responsabilities as co-parent and also doing her best to secure a good chance to join a good team to provide for her family.

jm is the one that wakes up whenever the baby cries (quite often at the beginning, she is a little rebel), and sometimes her team mates tease her bc she's always sneaking away during breaks from practice to catch up on baby books, she is serious about this!

jm also manages to get notes from some of mj's classes, even if she decides to take a semester off to recover and focus more on the baby, her favorite time being night time, when they put the baby to sleep and both of them watch her sleep together, jm backhugging her and whispering in her ear her how much she loves them, kissing her ears softly, her warmth making mj like she could float.

eventually, jm does make it into the team she wanted, and they give her a bigger house so she can move her family there and be closer to work! mj goes back to her studies, but she switches unis to one that is more flexible and that has a better program to hone in her writing skills and become a journalist!

jmj are so happy with their little family, jm wasting no time to buy baby hockey jerseys for her kid so she matches with her when mj takes her to watch jm play (her team mates think the rookie is adorable and refrain from teasing her about her dopey smile whenever she looks to the bleachers and sees them cheering her on). other times, mj leaves her afternoon lectures and when she steps out of the building she finds jm and the baby waiting for her, jm using a baby carrier and looking so handsome (plain blue jeans and a lose fighting white tshirt) mj skips all the way to them, and they take long walks holding hands and admiring the way the baby's eyes widen when she takes in the world around her! (with time everyone will agree that she has inherited jm's smile and mj's eyes). or when she returns home later at night after working in the library to hand in some projects and finds jm and the baby both passed out on the couch, the tv playing some hockey game in the background, jm protecting the baby between her arms, her shirt full of the baby's saliva as they both peacefully snore. mj would kiss them both on the forehead and go reheat the dinner jm cooked for her earlier, thinking how amazingly that one night stand a couple years ago turned out for her :)

Brief history: (tw cancer, death, parental abandonment, ADD diagnosis, drug use & abuse) 

Patrick was an accidental pregnancy to a mid-twenties couple, Rosalia & Alberto. His father was in the military and his mother was a teacher. When Patrick was six, his father was offered a promotion in the Air Force that would have moved the family to D.C. However, Patrick’s mother refused to move - she knew that Alberto had been cheating on her throughout the entirety of their relationship and used the move as an opportunity to divorce Alberto and start fresh. Alberto put up no fight for custody but never missed a child support payment and often sent more than required.

Patrick and his mother thrived on their own, up until about middle school. He found himself getting frustrated in classes, wanting to talk to his friends or read his books instead. He won’t receive his diagnosis until he’s well into his 30s, but hearing ADD leave his psychiatrist’s mouth felt like putting a final piece into a puzzle. Patrick wishes he could relieve his younger days with this knowledge, he’s sure it would have made a hell of a difference. Instead, like most kids before the turn of the century, Patrick was just labeled a ‘troublemaker’, maybe a ‘class clown’ if his humor was compatible with whatever teacher was not interesting enough to keep his attention.

Due to this, he struggled throughout middle and high school. With a combination of scolding from his mother and pressure from the guidance counselor (who probably needed to increase her ratio of graduates who attended college), Patrick got through high school with a C average and managed an acceptance to a small art school in California. It was here that his impulsiveness and lack of effort was magnified - he quickly found himself with a ‘stoner’ reputation on campus and soon dropped out to sell.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t smart enough to stay out of trouble for too long. After a short stint of living it up as a ‘unemployed’ 20-something in California, Patrick made the dumb mistake of trying to sell to an undercover officer at a nightclub. He was promptly handcuffed and carted away for 2 years with possession and intent to sell charges. He didn’t change much in prison, maybe calmed down a bit (it’s never good to make waves behind bars) and refocused himself on his boxing. It wasn’t until he was in his halfway house a year or so after being released that he got a call from his mother, who he hadn’t spoken to since he told her he was dropping out of college.

Patrick’s mother had cancer, her doctors thought she had maybe 5 years left. With the permission of his probation office and under the pretense of his good behavior the past few years, he moved home, settled right back into routine with his mom. It wasn’t five years, but the few that he had with her were filled with good food and laughter. When she passed, he wrote to his father informing him of the service information. He received a short but empathetic letter back, with a check paperclipped to its corner. To this day, he has not spoken to his father and does not know if he is dead or alive.

Patrick took the check and moved to Woodside where he moved into a tiny studio apartment for a year, worked odd jobs for a few years to get the bills paid. He did a year stint at Rustic House and still has a lasting appreciation for mixing a lovely cocktail and plating a well-paired meal with it. (this has potential to turn into a wanted connection if anyone is interest!)

(if you’re reading this, this is a wanted connection!) A few years into living in Woodside, Patrick received a letter and found his quiet life disrupted. His father had indeed been cheating on his mother and there was a child to prove it. Well now into their thirties, just as he was, they wanted to let him know that Alberto had passed - it was peaceful and he had expressed a desire to know his son more. They wrote that no one in the family had known he had a son and Alberto insisted they find Patrick. When first receiving this, he had no desire to give this person any space in his life however, as time has passed and he has softened, the line of communication has been reopened. Never too wide and never for too long, but every so often Patrick checks in with them, asks about their family. After all, they’re all the family he has left.

After years and years of working and saving, Patrick finally had enough to pursue his dream since high school - opening a boxing gym. He named it Rose’s Gym, after his mother and worked tirelessly to open it. After another year of renovations, equipment purchasing, interviewing for staff, and everything else that comes along with opening a business, Patrick kept himself quite busy.

It’s been a few years now and Rose’s Gym is as successful as ever. He’s well known with high schools and therapists in town and often gets the ‘troublemakers’ referred to his after-school program called Fight the Fury - corny, he knows. He’s managed to buy a house in Jackson Hill, an older two-story that has so much character his mother would probably worry about ghosts haunting its walls.

Dec 27 - Deboned the ham I baked for Christmas and made a vat of stock from the bone and scraps. I have a platter in the fridge with vast amounts of spiral-cut ham to divide up and freeze and find uses for.

Also, with the Canada Strike over, a package that I'd ordered all the way back in early November finally arrived. I'd ordered a couple more kaftans made of recycled vintage saris, from an Etsy shop in India that does free delivery by regular post, and around the time I was starting to think 'those should arrive soon-ish' (it takes a while), the strike started and added roughly a month to their shipping time.

I won't be wearing them much before the weather warms up anyway, since they're kind of lightweight for winter, but I love how pretty they are:

I now have one of each length of kaftan the shop sells, and think I like the midi length the most, since it goes all the way down to mid-thigh on me (methinks I need to alter my maxi length one to the same length). I find the short kaftan is a couple of inches too short for my height; still wearable, I just prefer stuff that runs a bit longer. Though I do love the sari fabric used for that one; it's a dark blue with blue-black leaf or plume patterns, with the leaves edged with a stroke of metallic gold. It's just so pretty. The other one is also attractive, it's all watercolour-ish blended streaky blue-green-beige with touches of purplish-pink and a bamboo leaves print.

I am almost certainly going to order more midi-length kaftans later in the new year, it'll be nice to have some pretty clothing for wearing this summer instead of just the plain men's tshirts that are my current mainstay (men's because I can find tall sizes easily in men's clothing, unlike in women's clothing where it's near-impossible to find, much less in larger sizes).

For supper I made fish stick and oven fries.

I just got the midi matcha skirt and I love it!!! So of course I immediately tripped and fell in a mud puddle the first time I wore it (dw I'm able to wash it out but it was still very much a orz moment). I have really sensitive skin so I'm really excited to have a skirt that doesn't make me break out in hives.

I want to ask: do you guys have plans to expand into more clothing items beyond skirts/pants? Like dresses or shirts? Or is that a secret for now?

Oh no!!! Not the mud puddle attack (relateable as a disaster prone clumsy person 😂) So as for future expansion, it's no secret but it's more just like there's nothing in particular solidly on the horizon right now. And thennn some of it is also that we've actually cut a bunch of stuff over time to where we almost only have skirts/joggers. Like we used to have all-over print tshirts using the same patterns that are on skirts/joggers, but I stopped selling them after the pandemic hit & I was no longer going to cons. Lots of cuts are due to "no longer going to cons" really, 'cause online it's just skirts and pants that sell. You can expect some more random small misc. drops this year tho. Like last year we made some hats & I also worked with other small businesses to stock a few fun things like soap, tea, candles, etc. that went along with the theme of a big new collection drop. I think the next most likely thing is beanies 'cause I have a couple ideas for those. Maybe tea and tea strainers again this fall because those two items actually sold really quickly for a side-item, and I the shop I worked with before has a perfect blend for my fall collection. Beyond those I'm currently looking into a collar supplier. Oh and one thing I can say for sure that we *won't* be doing that I get requests for a lot is button up shirts. For so many reasons... I'm sorry to say to everyone that's asked, I'm 100% not intested in getting into making them. 😅 What else.. Well I don't think I've said this before but I've got a pile of plain white cotton jean jackets that I want to dye/paint/put spikes on/etc.etc. So far I just haven't found the time or energy to do all that, but maybe hopefully I'll get around to it soon.

I’m hardly the first person to make this observation, but I’ve been pretty solidly plus-sized for like three years or so due to a crazy amount of mystery weight gain that a lot of my doctors want to chalk up to the “COVID 20” or whatever, which is insanely annoying since for me it’s closer to the COVID 50 even though my habits didn’t change that drastically and also it happened in weird spurts of very rapid weight gain with a few plateaus but whatever. The point is I’ve been plus-sized but I haven’t always been plus-sized so I have perspective from both sides of the size spectrum or whatever and…

Why…why can’t I just find basics easily? Why is it every time someone says, “Oh, this store has plus sizes!” nearly every item is a loud-ass print that’s seems like it’s meant to distract and confuse people so they won’t have to focus on my size or the items are cut so poorly I will not want to wear them? Why are things cut so short-waisted and boxy??? I have a large chest and a long torso, which didn’t magically change just because I gained weight, and I feel like everything is cut boxy so I either have to size up for length, which makes everything feel even more shapeless, or if the store has Tall options (incredibly rare), I’ll order the Tall sizes despite the fact that I’m 5’6”.

None of my jeans fit. None of them. If they fit in the waist, they will be baggy everywhere else because I do tend to gain in my waist. But…like…a lot of women gain in their waists. Why will no jeans fit? I have on jeans right now that are supposed to be skinny cut and not a single person on this planet would think they were anything other than slightly baggy straight-legged jeans. And these aren’t cheap jeans. I often buy Madewell and, more recently, I bought a pair from Talbots.

And there is just so much animal print??? I remember a few years ago when I was first starting to look for plus-sized clothing, like every color option was black or leopard print. Once time, I grabbed some garment thinking it was going to be a solid color, and there was a leopard print racing stripe down the side. Why…why can’t I just get like a pretty green or burgundy or blue shirt with no crazy pattern that isn’t cut as if I’m trying to suffocate myself in cloth? Like, I’m not even looking for revealing clothing or overly tight clothing; I just don’t want to look like I’m trying to dress entirely shapelessly? I historically like swing dresses or A-line dresses and boatneck tshirts and skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans and I feel like my options without dipping into loud prints or just dressing in black every day are extremely limited.

(I know I keep railing against loud prints. Here’s the thing: I occasionally go for a loud print. And if that’s all you love, I think you should wear them every day. But it is insane that I can find like ten color options in straight sizes and then if I hop over to plus sizes, my options are black, leopard print, and some very large floral prints. It very much comes across as, “We need to distract from their bodies with these giant flowers!” when maybe I just want to wear a plain purple shirt occasionally. Or tiny floral print. Or checks. Or stripes. Or anything that doesn’t lean into some “big and brassy” stereotype.)

Anyway, I have a couple of stores where I can usually find some things, but flattering basics have been incredibly difficult. Like, it has already been hard given my past body image issues, past eating disorder, and just getting used to what my body currently feels like, but I’m then routinely presented with this issue of wanting to look and feel like I care about my clothing a little, but mainly having options that make me look entirely frumpy or so loud that I don’t feel like myself.

the reason why him going to jail was hot was bc it wasn't for a serious, criminal offense. he went for breaking and entering. and for fake ids. like… none of that is deeply unsettling or really surprising, given what his career was at the time lol

if he had went for battery or something a little more scary, then it wouldn't be as attractive, so to speak. bc then it's a concern, a problem, rather than a fun story to tell.

it's always so interesting the way his style switches up. bc he has some random pieces in his wardrobe, even to this day, that are like…. that doesn't fit your overall aesthetic, but i appreciate that you have them. anytime he wears anything pink, my heart just melts.

so for the fighting in the club thing, he's never outwardly admitted what has occurred or why it kinda happens frequently, but he explained very briefly once during a livestream that he is banned from a couple clubs in la and vegas bc of him and brennen almost getting into fights with guys. my bet is that it was mostly brennen's fault, but there have been times now of colby on his own or with other friends almost getting into fights.

but he has never explained why, and it's infuriating. i need to know why it almost happens. like, is the other dude being a dick? is colby starting the fights? what's the M.O here? literally in december it happened to him again! like….. i NEED a story time or something lol

Happy Birthday, Jason! should she have gotten him anything for his birthday? probably not. but she'd never been good at not doing stuff she shouldn't. honestly the only thing that she really knew about him was that he liked to read and that he could shoot a gun. that didn't lend much to gift giving. so really she'd just gone to the book store and bought entirely too much stuff that wasn't books. seating herself next to him, she makes herself comfortable and happily explains what she'd got as he pulls it from the bag. "Those are book darts, so when i interrupt you you don't lose your spot. and that's a page holder so you don't have t'use your thumb and pinkie. and the tshirt just seemed like something you needed." and maybe she's grinning like an absolute mad woman at him, but can he really blame her? "Happy birthday!"

He has no fucking clue how she figured out it’s his birthday—Dean, the answer was Dean—and he’s more than a little baffled by the fact that she went and actually bought him gifts. They hadn’t exactly gotten off on the right foot, and he still has yet to give her back her silver bullets (mostly because it’s funny to listen to her bitch about it, and he thinks she’s really pretty when she gets all riled up). For a couple seconds, he just looks at the bag like it might bite him, before he mans up and reaches inside.

The way she explains everything as he pulls it out is absolutely adorable, and he has to fight to keep the hearts out of his eyes. The book darts are kind of neat—little mini bookmarks that look like they point at the line you’re currently on—though he’s sure she won’t give him the time to actually use one, when she interrupts him, in the future. The page holder could be handy for reading one-handed, if the hole is actually big enough for his thumb to fit in (he kindly refrains from mentioning that it looks kind of small). The shirt, though. That’s by far the best part.

The grin he gets when he holds it up is stupid-wide. Plain white with some black, generic, serif font spelling out book whore across the chest and literally nothing else on it. It’s a thing of beauty, really. He barks out a surprised laugh when he reads it for the first time. “It’s perfect.” He sets it down in his lap, only to reach behind his head to tug off his current shirt, so he can wear the new one. Once it’s on, he turns his grin on her, holds his arms open so she gets the full experience. “Well? How’s it look?”

At first, I was thinking Mariana would try to go to Charlie’s school just to return the wallet but I forgot that he is a known varsity player so he’d probably be recognized by the students and that wouldn’t be fun for everyone involved. So, Mariana looking for him and finding him free from the costume is the way to go!!

I imagine on both sides, they have their circle of friends trying to discourage the other from pursuing a relationship with a rival student. They just have bad misconceptions of each other’s school reputation.

But Mariana and Charlie are stubborn and keep seeing each other, they complain over the phone what their friends think of them and such. During school events are a bit awkward though, they have to disguise themselves (Mariana especially) from being recognized.

Like, a university ball being held in Charlie’s college and obviously Mariana has to attend. But they heavily disguise him with silly sunglasses and wigs lol For Charlie’s end, nobody knows him and he doesn’t really have a reputation that reach Mariana’s school but Charlie doesn’t speak a lick of Spanish. So, it’d be easy to determine that he isn’t from there dkdkkd

It’s just stupid, how much they have to play off because of their schools. But when it’s just them, when they’re alone in their own bubble, they’re the happiest and most in love couple that’s ever been so they don’t mind the extra work and having to do those silly things all over again.
