“I'd like to sit with you, but…” “Yeah, you're here for work, go forth and charm the pants off some rich people!” Leon attempts to shoo Luis away with his hands. “Do your job while I sit here and eat way too much free food.” “I will be charming some wallets open now, but the only pants getting charmed off will be yours later tonight, mi amor~” Luis dashes off before Leon can groan and tell him to shut up. “Stay put, eat all your food, I'll be back!” Leon isn't alone for more than five minutes before Claire takes a seat at the table, across from Leon. And for once she actually wore a dress, making Leon feel even more underdressed for the occasion.  “God. Don't tell me he told you to come babysit me,” Leon sighs. “He's so overprotective of me lately. Sometimes it's sweet, sometimes it just annoys the hell out of me.” “He didn't tell me to do anything. Am I not allowed to sit with my friend?” Claire rolls her eyes. “Permission to make fun of you?” “Granted.” “‘I'm Leon S. Time to change the subject before he gets too emotional. “Is Sherry here?” “She's supposed to be,” Claire looks around, scanning the crowd. “She might be running a bit late.
