hi I just wanted to say thank u so much for representing the horny manipulative Dom jack lovers in the fandom. I was also annoyed at the way some fans were upset with him saying slutty once in an audio drama, and wanting that kind of language to be absent from the game entirely. im glad to that there are also others who enjoy the less wholesome.sides of him.

for me what makes jack compelling as a character is the way his manipulation and his genuine care for MC cannot be disentangled. I feel.like it's what makes him a less generic and way more interesting yandere and character in general. it's also what makes him so convincingly persuasive in character.

I feel like people want his character to be more black or white, they don't want to have to consider him as very grey. that the character who gives them comfort would be doing so for selfish reasons, even if it is true love for him. like he can be manipulative and genuinely care for u and take care of u, tho he is holding his own feeling of love for u over whatever ur own feelings might actually be. and like, it's fine if u really only enjoy the more wholesome complete devotion angle, just don't get upset that there are other sides to a character.

also for sure it's my kink seeing the horny manipulative careraker shit and I would be so sad if they didn't include deceptive Dom jack in the game. so thanks for writing this kinda stuff! I wish there was more of it in the fandom.

Yeah, of course!! Honestly, for me it's like 50% because that's what I'm here for and 50% because it's ridiculous to me that anyone would be self absorbed enough to think they know better than the actual creator of the characters. Idk the entitlement of thinking entire things made for a whole bunch of people should be changed because of your personal discomfort is nuts to me. Especially demanding that things with appropriate content warnings for hard stuff be softened for you. If you want soft shit, get out of the yandere fandom and go play the hundreds of soft, sweet, well-made dating sims out there!! But don't come into a hard kink zone and then throw a toddler tantrum that there's hard kinks.
