Back to making pixel art of Count Duckula. The plan was to improve his old version from 2019 and be able to make my Cassandra with that base. But in the end I ended up drawing this whole scenario for the two of them.

Cassandra can't help setting fire to a few things. Especially the curtains of the old castle. Poor Duckula, money won't be enough to fix the mess.

Drawing William in the style of the Count Duckula series. And a little comparison between the cousins.

This time I made a pixel art of my Oc William McDuckula. But my little vampire this time is accompanied by little Luna Macawber, Oc that belongs to @o-dandelion-o

The original measures 200x200px.

The stage comes from episode 11 "The Ghost of McCastle McDuckula".

I added a little sketch where William teaches little Luna to defend herself. No one will bother her again when she is accompanied by a dangerous and evil vampire.

I was going to post them yesterday but I was busy because it was my birthday. I went to the Planetarium and it was very fun and exciting.

I leave you these four practice drawings using references taken from different places. I was supposed to do more but I couldn't. I think that when I make more, I will choose some to clean up.

And I have a new duckling!

This character has been on my mind for a while but I haven't had the time to draw him. But finally I was able to do it.

He is William Mcduckula, distant cousin of Earl Duckula and "adopted son" of Rory Mcduckula, the Earl's Scottish relative.

William is an alcoholic and womanizing vampire, and sometimes a headache for his father. Although he fulfills his role as a vampire very well, his vices make him make mistakes.

He was sold at the age of 5 by his mother and lost his eye as a slave. He was turned into a vampire at age 16 and is an illegitimate son of Rory Mcduckula (but he will never tell her).

His design is inspired by Rory's costume but I also used part of Scrooge Mcduck's design.

In my headcannon, the Mcduckulas were part of the Mcduck family, but upon being converted by a Duckula ancestor, they adopted the new surname.

Did you know that my duckling was in an old Nickelodeon advertisement? No? Good is true. It never happened haha

According to the blog where I found the image, this advertisement was made to celebrate that Nickelodeon was going to have its own TV channel. And before nicktoons existed, other cartoons such as Danger Mouse and Count Patula were broadcast.

I tried to make Cassandra fit well into the image, but I still have more to learn to do old things.

I've been thinking about drawing William in the style of the Count Duckula series for a while now. So I made this little character sheet to use for future reference.

I didn't make many changes to his costume, but I still tried to keep it simple. I used images of Rory McDuckula and Scrooge McDuck as reference.

Seriously, in my mind these two old Scottish ducks are related but centuries apart. William is like a great cousin or something of the old cheapskate haha

I didn't know how to draw the eye patch, I couldn't find a reference that I liked.

Casandra Venancio 2024 vs 2019

A redraw of my vampire duckling 💙🦇🦆

It doesn't cross my mind how much my character changed by trying other styles when drawing ducklings. And also the wardrobe changes he had afterwards. He doesn't look that much like the first version of him anymore, except for a few details. I think he has evolved for the better, but I am still fond of the first digital drawing of him.

For those who don't know, Kassandra is my Oc in Count Duckula's universe. She is the daughter of Don Diego Venancio, Duckula's Spanish cousin who appears in the second episode of the series.

In my story, Casandra flees her father's castle and hides in the old Duckula castle. The count does not accept at first, until his new cousin offered him monetary help in exchange for accommodation (and Patula is very broke haha). Although at first it is for convenience, they gradually begin to get to know each other better and get along.

These days I had an idea floating in my head, about what my Oc Casandra would look like in the style of the Count Duckula series. Use the character sheets that are online and use them as a guide to give him that look. Although also look for some episode scenes to see the colors.

I feel like she looks kind of funny, compared to the other styles I've used to draw her. Then I want to try to make a fake screenshot and see how it turns out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!!

A gift for @vampireduckunicorn who had her birthday this April 4th.

She always makes me a nice surprise drawing for my birthday, so this year I wanted to do something special. A romantic Count Patula, giving his wife Laura Duckula a kiss.

Since today is Worker's Day, I was lucky enough to rest this day. So I took advantage of moving forward with my drawing of ducklings.

I hadn't planned to make a background but I got carried away, I actually wanted to do something else but I'll leave it for another drawing. The complicated thing was figuring out how to make that old TV effect, I need tutorials well people.

"Both vampire cousins have accepted an invitation to a big gala, but time has taken the rhythm out of their feathers. So they have both agreed to practice before the big night. Let's see who has both left feet."
