everything about rhea fire emblem is so awesome yes even the borderline oedipus complex, which is cool in a mythological and gothic horror sort of way. but then you remember the game genuinely encourages you to ship her with her grandchild and that most of her fans reduce her to "hot pope mommy". sorry but she has a degenerative brain disease and none of you could ever match her freak <3

#also ppl who think she's 'better' than edelgard please be serious. creating 10+ children as experiments and all of them dying from #complications is meant to parallel what happened to edelgard's siblings.#she's the 'worst' out of the main cast by virtue of having existed for thousands of years. but she's not irredeemable.#im not tagging this. if ppl find it they find it. (scared of the mommy fans in question)#also byleth/rhea could slap if it was framed as messed up but alas FE has a reputation to uphold
