a really fun recent commission: this custom bookplate for the curator of Judaica at the Museum of the Bible! it's based on a variety of texts that describe (at least some) sheydim as observantly Jewish - especially the Talmudic stories of Yosef Sheyda, a demonic scholar or possibly even a rabbi himself. the quote in the window is from Psalm 24, "the earth is the Lord's, and everything in it" which is often written above an owner's name in Jewish books, but provides double meaning here for the fact that sheydim too are divinely created. Jesse shares my love for sheydim as transgressive, marginalized figures who are nevertheless deeply Jewish, so this was an ideal collaboration & a delight to make!

also done entirely in Procreate, inked with True Grit Texture Supply's "Rusty Nib" engraver brushes - totally in love with this new process & the relative ease of accomplishing this type/level of hatching vs. traditional media (giving me added respect for the 17th century printmakers I've been studying). i will always love working traditionally but adding more digital techniques to my repertoire has been super useful.

Donations Requested

This is always really hard to do but I've been going through really difficult times these last few months and it would help if you could donate here

I have a temporary place to stay but I've been homeless since April 1st. Alot of places near me have rent in the $700 to $1,000+ area which is massively outside my range (the only one I've seen in my price range had no ac 😭 it's already hit 80°f this spring)

I've been working with different resources to help find housing and support (such as SNAP) but they take time. It's been so much these past three months and I'm starting to burn out.

I'll be putting donations towards costs such as: my monthly storage rental, groceries (snap pending), medicine, doctor appointments, security deposit when I find a potential apartment, and filling my car up with gas.

I have a Kofi, with a backlog of art and a discord server. I've also been playing around with a new app on the iPad if anyone wants to request doodles for donations over $10 (examples above)

full bodies are 35 25 dollars (30 shaded 5 sketched), and headshots are 10 5 dollars (7 shaded, 3 sketched)! I also do discord emojis for 3 dollars each, and whatsapp stickers for 5 3 dollars each, regardless of complexity!

ADDITIONALLY. i will draw pretty much anything at all. guys. i will draw you the chucky cheese rat pregnant. hell ill draw you bowser AND chucky cheese having sex. without any extra complexity cost or nothing. ill draw your mary sue self insert french kissing those gacha characters yall like so much. i dont judge. ill draw homestuck. mordetwi. anything.

ehem. prices can be discussed, and additional characters come cheaper (any additional character will be 60% off the normal price) in drawings with multiple characters + each 10 drawings with the same price, one comes free!

i also do gifs! every second is 35 20 dollars!! (gif making is very tough).

sketch pages are 5 dollars, and can have up to 5 sketches in them!
