i do think boone owuld not be super into rage as a leader just given his inherent cruelness like i think there's a level of what he feels like is necessary respect he can't quite avoid as a soldier but privately/to the people he trusts he'll admit he's not the biggest fan. rage doesn't know who boone is for sure though like even if they were theoretically in the same military structure rage is just too high ranking also he does not care about other people.
