"A line has been drawn in this system. Light on one side. Dark on the other. Where do you stand?" - Osiris

"Zavala looks at me, and I feel like he really sees me. Who I am, not who I was." - Crow
"Devotion inspires bravery, bravery inspires sacrifice, sacrifice leads to death. So... feel free to kill yourself." - The Speaker
"Do you hear me? Every Titan. Every Warlock. Every Hunter. We will take the Reef by storm! And then we will mount the head of that son of a bitch on his precious throne. For our Fireteam....For Cayde." - Ikora Rey
"I just want you to know... I'm here with you. Through Light or Dark... we're partners. Always." - Ghost
"It's a day for pretty speeches and medals. But we know the real fight takes place out there. There's so much more, Guardian. I've seen terrible things born out in the Darkness. Every moment brings them closer. All ends and beginnings... Our fight is far from over." - Elisabeth Bray

Months ago when Lance unfortunately passed away, I said Keith David would be able to do a passable Zavala because he had the same timbre to his voice, and my friend (yes that one) mocked me for it, Who's laughing now Toxic Titan?
I could tell he wasn't pleased that the exact actor I said could do a good job, was the one that was chosen. :D

Kinktober 2024: Shower Sex

Shower sex!! One of the major leading causes of bathroom accidents (I kid, I kid. Though I know it's up there).
Ship: Siobhan x Crow Content Warning: fingering, p in v, biting, the unmitigated sass Siobhan possesses, self-image trauma, scars mentioned, past trauma briefly mentioned Length: 4.3k

The high pitched screech had every Guardian freezing in their tracks. Siobhan looked up in alarm and glanced back, she saw the pulsing blue sacks and the gangly legs scurrying their way. Her stomach jumped to her throat and she yelled out in alarm. The nauseating smell hit her right as she opened her mouth so the word came out almost garbled around the gagging.
“Screebs!!” Her entire fireteam scattered at the word, leaving the poor newbie standing there confused until the screebs exploded on him. Siobhan screeched as she dangled off the branch of the tree. She looked down panicked and saw one jumping. “You mother fucker!!!” Her shriek of outrage filled the entire area, alerting every single scorn to their location as the screeb exploded in mid-air when Anna hit it with her scout rifle from her secure location.
Jareth hung onto the trunk of the tree and burst out laughing as he saw Siobhan covered in the gunk. “At least you’re still alive.” He waved a hand to the newbie who was just now being risen by his Ghost. When Siobhan gave him a look that promised murder and dismemberment, he wisely chose to stay out of arm’s reach.
“I am covered in screeb goo. Fuck you very much Jareth!” Siobhan flipped him off while still dangling from the branch. They both heard the ominous crack and shared a panicked look before the branch gave out under her weight. She landed right in the screeb goo and viscera puddled on the ground underneath the tree. Anna and Jareth winced as they saw it. Siobhan just laid there contemplating how much trouble she’d get in with the Vanguard if she just went on a murder spree to get rid of the anger. Was the paperwork and lecture worth it? They were after an artifact the scorn had stolen after all; the Vanguard couldn’t be too mad at her right?
Siobhan slowly got to her feet and she looked over as the scorn crested the small hill and she clenched her fist. Ice crackled along her forearm before she unleashed the sickle and torrent of ice at her enemies. Anna and Jareth picked the frozen ones off from their spots. “I’m going on ahead.”
“Weren’t we supposed to just run some recon? Commander Zavala didn’t want us running in reckless,” Jareth told her while she threw a grenade into a group of frozen scorn.
“I’ll get the damn artifact back,” she retorted and Jareth heaved a sigh as she summoned her sparrow and took off in the direction of the fortress. He looked over at Anna who had hopped down to check on the newbie.
“So… Are you going to tell Commander Zavala, or am I?” Jareth asked and Anna shook her head. The newbie volunteered but the older Guardians refused to let him. Jareth bit the bullet and called up the Vanguard.
“Of course she did.” Zavala pinched the bridge of his nose at Jareth’s news. Since when had Siobhan ever listened to orders? Ikora chuckled as she looked down at her files while Anna explained they didn’t really try to stop her so it was partially their fault. Anything to help save their friend, but Ikora knew Siobhan would swear up and down that she bullied her way past her teammates. Once she was set on something, there was no moving that Guardian. She did, however, glance over to the new Hunter Vanguard and saw the conflict on his face. She imagined it was difficult to balance being the one responsible for a Guardian while also being in a relationship with said Guardian.
“Thank you, Annalise. We’ll take your words into consideration when Siobhan gets back,” Ikora told Anna and Jareth’s face popped back into the picture.
“Let her take a shower first Ikora. Screebs exploded and as usual.” Ikora sighed as it was Zavala’s turn to chuckle.
“She fell right into it didn’t she?” Crow asked and Jareth simply grinned at him.
“Lilith can send Glint the recording later if you want to see just how mad she got. Anyway, we’re going to get the newbie back to the Tower. Siobhan threatened to maim me if I tried to help her, and I think she was serious about it.” Jareth jerked a thumb over his shoulder in the direction Siobhan went.
“Yes, don’t risk it when she’s that mad. We all know how she gets when screebs explode on her,” Ikora said and told the three that Crow would be waiting for them to get the mission report. Crow nodded and they cut the call. Ikora gave him a sympathetic look.
“Is this what happened when I’d go running off too?” Zavala chuckled and nodded in agreement at Crow’s question.
“Yes.” Crow apologized and ran a hand over his head as he sent a message to Siobhan in hopes of convincing her not to do it. In reply he got back an apology from Arawn and a clip of Siobhan yelling at some scorn.
Savathun’s Throne World
“Hahaha! Take that you son of a bitch!” Siobhan stomped the screeb grinning when the creature exploded in another shower of goo. “And we have it!” She held the artifact up in victory while surrounded by the carnage of battle. Arawn tucked the artifact into her inventory and she placed her hands on top of her hips and looked at him. “How much trouble am I in this time?”
“Umm, Crow wants to talk when you get back to the Tower.” Siobhan huffed.
“He’ll have to wait until I get a shower first.” She grabbed the edge of her cloak and sneered at how wet it was from screeb juice. Arawn sighed and bobbed by her head as she headed towards the doors of the temple. “Unless he wants a nose full of this absolutely tantalizing smell.” Siobhan’s sense of smell had been burned away after she landed in the puddle of screeb viscera, she’d have Arawn repair it later. “Let’s get back to the Tower.”
On the way back Siobhan got a message from Jareth saying that their shower was busted. Siobhan wanted to message Nevia but she and Drifter were still working out their complicated shit, and Siobhan would give them their space to work through that. She could message Kura but the lecture she’d get from Ajun for getting screeb on their carpet would be enough to immediately veto that idea. She clasped her chin as she leaned back in her pilot chair.
“Is Yvette at the Tower?” Siobhan asked and Arawn informed her that she was not. She was visiting Aine and Saladin at their home. “Fuck. Who can I call to borrow their shower?”
“Why not ask Crow?” Siobhan immediately crossed her arms in front of her face in an instant denial. “Why not? He’s got permanent quarters now at the Tower because he’s the Hunter Vanguard.”
“I can’t ask my boss to take a shower at his place. What will the masses think?” Siobhan asked as Arawn regarded her carefully.
“I know when you’re trying to avoid something. Why don’t you want to ask Crow? When Cayde was the Vanguard, you never hesitated if you needed something.”
“It’s different with Crow,” Siobhan retorted as the ship broke through Earth’s orbit.
“Why? How is it so different than when Cayde was the Vanguard?” Siobhan groaned and her head fell back against her seat.
“Because…” She paused as the Tower came into view. “Because it is. With Cayde he was more like my brother than anything else. Annoying older brother, I might add. It’s never felt like that with Crow.” Arawn floated in front of Siobhan and he studied her face and saw the pain and shadows in her eyes.
“Crow won’t care. He won’t Siobhan. I know what this is about. It’s about your scars.” She flinched and Arawn sighed at how accurately he could read his Guardian. They had been together for a little over twenty years at this point, and he knew her better than anyone else ever could.
“You say that but he’s never seen them.” Arawn reminded her of the time during the Pale Heart. “Okay but I think he had other things to worry about than looking at my scars. Like helping make sure the Taken poison didn’t infest my Light. Not look at my scars.” Arawn floated in front of the panels showing their surroundings before he flung himself at her forehead. “Ow!”
“You deserved that one,” he informed her and his shell fluttered with each word to match how peevish he felt.
“Of course I know I’m being stupid, but every time I want to try my chest and throat get tight.” She huffed at Arawn when he told her to stop being stupid. “Like it’s that easy.”
“If Crow says something that hurts you, I will instantly transmat you away from him. And back to Jareth and Anna.” Siobhan gave him a skeptical look but Arawn kept their gazes locked. He saw the moment she cracked and agreed.
“Go ahead and see if Crow minds us using his shower.” Siobhan could hardly believe what she let Arawn talk her into. Her scars weren’t something small and insignificant, easy to overlook. The scar from Oryx’s blade cut diagonally from her shoulder to her hip, though it had faded over the years it was still prominent on her back. If she wore a tank top you could see it plainly, but she rarely wore anything showing off her skin anymore. She had a scar in the shape of a starburst just above her right breast, a present from a hobgoblin in the doomed Vault of Glass excursion. The burn scar from the mission on Neomuna and the loss suffered there. Siobhan’s lips thinned as she looked down at her thigh, where half was covered in the same burn. Then there was the biggest one of all. Her fingers splayed over her abdomen over her armor as she thought back to those dark days. The Taken lieutenant on Io had gotten in a good hit before she finished it off, she’d barely made it back to the Farm in time. Her friends worked hard to keep the Taken poison from seeping in, even without their Light they’d fought tooth and nail to keep her alive. She hadn’t been able to let it heal properly before running back into battle. Thus, almost three-quarters of her stomach were taken over by the scar.
“Crow says it’s fine.” Arawn’s voice pulled her from her darker thoughts. “Ready?” Siobhan heaved a sigh and agreed. They stepped out of the ship and Saint greeted them from his position in the hangar. Seeing the soft purple glow coming from the Titan was always a welcome sight in the hangar.
“Ah, Siobhan! It has been too long!” Siobhan waved her hands in front of her to ward him off as he approached. “Oh?”
“I’m covered in screeb goo. Don’t risk coming close to me,” she told him and Saint nodded in understanding.
“You have been to the throne world then?” Siobhan grinned at him and Saint shook his head. “I heard from Ikora that you went against orders?”
“What? I got what we wanted and a full report of the shit the scorn were getting into,” Siobhan told him defensively. Saint shook his head at her defensive tone, she had her reasons, he was sure. He disliked how willing she was to throw herself into the fray with little regard to her own wellbeing.
“Reckless. Take care to always come back yeah? It would be a sad day in the Tower if you never returned,” Saint told her before gently pushing at her head. She grinned at him and trotted off towards the apartments set aside for the Vanguard.
“Are you sure it’s, okay?” Siobhan asked as she paused outside Crow’s door. “Wait, before we go inside. Take my armor off.”
“So you don’t want him to see you naked, but you’re going to get naked?” Arawn asked.
“Ugh, no. I want you to take the outer armor off. I reek and I don’t want to bring that to someone else’s place.” Siobhan poked Arawn’s shell as hie shifted his spikes.
“Fine.” She was standing in the skintight under armor suit and she groaned as even that had gotten soaked. “Want me to take that off too?”
“No,” she retorted and Arawn simply bobbed by her head in amusement. Siobhan carefully opened the door and poked her head inside to see where Crow was.
“Crow isn’t here if that’s what you’re worried about.” Siobhan stared at Arawn in betrayal.
“Why didn’t you say that in the first place?” She walked through the door and glanced around. She didn’t know what she expected but Crow had the bare minimum in his place. “I guess he hasn’t had much time to accumulate many things.” Siobhan saw a picture of him and Amanda in the hangar on the desk by the window. She missed Amanda. She’d seen Amanda grow into a proper shipwright and encouraged her love of tinkering when she’d been a teenager. She had been the first person to greet her whenever she’d return from whatever mission the Vanguard sent her on.
“Okay, where is the bathroom?” Siobhan asked Arawn who flew ahead of her to show her the way. Siobhan opened the door and her jaw dropped. “What the hell!? If I knew the Vanguard got this kind of luxury, I might not have run away so much when asked about the position!” Siobhan yelled as she stepped inside. The shower took up half of one wall, the crystal clear glass showcased a detachable showerhead, with one hanging from the ceiling, and three on the tile walls facing each other. She saw the screen inside, encased by watertight glass and a few simple bathing products, and the bench against the wall. She turned and saw the sunken tub, big enough for her entire fireteam to fit comfortably in. The jets called to her like a siren’s call on the open sea.
“You know darn well you’d still disappear if anyone asked you to take over as Vanguard.”
“Maybe. I’d at least be tempted if I saw this,” she told Arawn. “Once I get this off, we’ll file this under burn the bitch and discard the ashes.” Arawn snorted as Siobhan spoke. He noticed the sound of the door opening but his Guardian seemed oblivious to it.
“You can always just ask Crow to come and use his bathroom anytime. He told me it was fine.” Arawn hovered by his Guardian as she struggled to get the zipper. He found it amusing how much she contorted herself when all she had to do was ask him to take it away. Eventually she grasped the darn thing and pulled it down her back.
“I can’t just do that. Crow has an image to uphold to the Hunters now. How would it look if I just popped by whenever I felt like it?” Siobhan asked as she eased the suit off her shoulders.
“I mean… Nevia did it. Yvette did it. Why not ask them?” Siobhan gave Arawn a peevish look. “What?”
“I’m. It’s harder for me. Crow and I got past the whole awkward, remembering the past thing and he forgave me for what happened in the Forbidden Shore…” Siobhan looked down at her hands resting against the bunched fabric by her waist.
“But?”
“But it’s difficult to open myself up again. I don’t want to chance three times that I would be the reason a person I love and care about is dead.” Arawn narrowed his eye at her.
“I do believe you should let Crow decide if it’s worth the risk.” Arawn informed his stubborn Guardian. Siobhan crossed her arms over her chest and Arawn saw the stiff shoulders and mulish jaw. She wasn’t going to budge. “Fine, fine. You might want to get under the spray before the screeb juice, as you call it, dries anymore.” Siobhan let out a short squeal before tugging the rest of the suit off. She pointed at it.
“Burn that thing. I don’t want to look at it anymore.” Arawn agreed and she stepped under the spray. Arawn turned as the door opened and he bobbed at seeing Crow there. Crow jerked his thumb over his shoulder and Arawn went to join Glint on his little stuffed pillow by the window.
He turned and saw her in his shower and the tangle of heat in his stomach warned him to be cautious. He’d wanted to get her alone for so long, they were always constantly surrounded by people. Which was hilarious given they were both Hunters, who were infamous for being loners. Now that he had her here, he wasn’t going to just let her escape like all the other times. He carefully peeled his own armor off, leaving it in a neat pile for Glint later. He opened the door when she began humming and brushed his hand over her hip.
Siobhan immediately pivoted on her heel and slammed her back into the tile wall with her heart in her throat. Her eyes widened as she saw Crow standing there and she couldn’t help it when they dipped down before going back up to his face. She hadn’t heard him come in at all!
Crow stood there trying so hard not to laugh, instead he held out his hand to her. “Arawn told me about the temple.” She looked down at his hand before back up at his face and he saw the suspicion in those blue eyes. “I’m not here to lecture you.” She reached out and grabbed his hand, allowing him to pull her closer. He ran a hand over her hair amused by the way she stiffened.
“Wait, I’m still covered in screeb.” Siobhan stepped back and back under the spray. Her back was to him and he sucked in a breath. His fingers brushed over the diagonal scar, from shoulder to hip. It looked painful. He didn’t remember much from that time; he suspected the Darkness already had its hooks in him. “That’s the scar from Oryx,” she told him quietly. “He was about to bring his sword down onto Nevia. I pushed her out of the way and took the blade in my back.” He nodded and gave into the impulse. His lips brushed against her shoulder, leashing back the urge to pull her closer when she trembled. His hands turned her around and he saw the nerves in her eyes. Arawn warned him she was scared he’d reject her because of the scars.
Crow reached for her face, cradling her cheeks in his hands, before his lips brushed hers. Her lips parted on a soft sigh and he deepened the kiss. Her arms wrapped around him, leaning against him as the kiss made her burn. Crow moved, tugging her along with him, until his knees hit the bench. Before she could protest, he switched them and gently pushed her down. He merely smiled at the disgruntled glare she gave him, before he knelt in front of her. He ran his hands up the sides of her body, savoring the shudder that went through her. His thumbs caressed her nipples, teasing them into tight points before he leaned forward closing his lips around one of the points. Her fingers dove into his hair and her moan ricocheted on the shower walls.
Crow smiled against her skin before he trailed his lips up to the starburst scar just above her breast. He sensed the unease in her, but he merely grazed the scar before bringing her other nipple into his mouth. Her head fell back against the wall to savor the way he made her feel. He wanted to bury himself in her body, but he had to show her that he would never turn away from her. No matter what she looked like.
Crow rested his hands on her hips letting his thumbs stroke over the raised skin there. She shuddered and covered her mouth with her arm to hide her nerves from him. Desperation burned hot in her chest as his mouth trailed lover, pausing just at the edge of her abdomen scar. “You don’t.” Siobhan bit off what she was going to say but he lifted his head.
“I’m not going to run away or reject you just because of your scars,” he told her softly. She met his eyes and the fear in there made his heart ache. Always so scared of being rejected, afraid of losing everyone she cared about. “I don’t see them the same way you do.”
“What?” Crow merely smiled at the confusion on her face.
“These are proof that you survived.” She looked away but he saw the way her aura patterns glowed just a little brighter on her cheeks. “Proof that you’re still here with me.” Siobhan looked at him curiously. He leaned forward and pressed his lips on top of her scar. He trailed a line of kisses down to her navel all the while nudging her until she was stretched out on the bench. He moved until he leaned over her, grinning as it finally dawned on her what he did.
“You’re sneaky.” She placed her hands on his chest when he leaned down to brush his nose against hers. “Don’t think you’re cute.”
“But you know that’s what you’re thinking.” She pouted at him but he nibbled at the corner of her lips while his hand drifted between her legs. “Ah, look at.” Crow laughed as her hands covered his mouth.
“Don’t you dare say anything.” He nipped at her palm right when his palm dragged against her clit. Her head tilted back and her groan was music to his ears. “Crow…”
“What?” He smiled down at her when she let her hands drop to her chest.
“You.” Siobhan sucked in a breath when he slipped two fingers inside of her curling just right. His lips trailed over her jaw, nibbling at the sensitive skin there. Her lips parted on a soft groan and he covered them with his own, swallowing the sweet sounds she made. Her fingers dove into his hair when she rocked her hips against his fingers. She pulled back only a fraction of an inch. “Don’t. Don’t tease me.”
“But I enjoy it,” he said before his teeth nibbled at her ear. She tightened her hold in his hair as she whined at him. “Especially when you sound like that.” He nipped at her neck when her body tightened around his fingers.
“You’ve always been mean.” He grinned against her neck when she went still. “Wait, wait. I didn’t mean it.” Crow lifted his head and stared down into her face as she huffed at him. “You’re going to show me how mean you can be, aren’t you?”
“Hmm, maybe later. I want you too much right now,” Crow whispered in her ear. She shivered and he made small quick circles around her clit, smiling when her head fell back against the bench. He savored the sting of her nails when they bit into his shoulders as her body tightened around him. Her heels pressed into the bench, pushing her hips against his hand. He knew she was close, he’d always been able to read her so well.
“Crow. I’m.” Siobhan’s sentence was cut off as she moaned when he twisted his wrist. Her thighs squeezed against his arm when her body fell over the edge. He eased her through the orgasm before shifting and sliding his cock inside. “Fuck.” Her legs wrapped around his waist as he rocked his hips against her.
“You’re going to come again.” She shook her head and whined but he covered her lips with his in an almost brutal kiss. He made sure every thrust dragged against her clit. He fought against the urge to just take, he wanted to feel her come apart around his cock. Crow grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head making her back bow with the movement, angling her hips so his cock hit that spot inside her just right.
Her lips parted on a soft sigh and Crow dropped his head to her shoulder when her body clenched around his cock. “Fuck,” Crow groaned as he shuddered while her body soaked his cock. He straightened and grabbed her hips before smiling down at her.
“No. I have a mission tomorrow,” Siobhan whined as she knew what he was going to do. Her head dropped back to the bench when he slammed his hips against hers. His name spilled from her lips like a litany as the sounds of their lovemaking filled the bathroom. She grabbed at him as her body hurdled towards another orgasm, her nails dragging down his back as she spiraled hard and fast over the edge. He leaned over and bit her shoulder as his own orgasm slammed into him almost violently.
The only sounds filling the bathroom were their harsh breaths and the shower long gone cold. Crow slowly lifted himself off Siobhan and smiled down at her. Swollen lips, glazed over eyes, and the small bruise forming on her shoulder from his teeth. He shifted until he stood next to the bench. “Let’s go to bed,” he said and offered her a hand. She looked at him before she slowly sat up.
“I don’t know if I can. I don’t trust my legs to hold me up,” she told him quietly. Crow looked down at her in surprise before his body reacted to her words. She glanced down and then up at him. “That wasn’t an invitation! I really do have a mission tomorrow!” Siobhan complained even while he scooped her up in a swift move. She pushed at his chin while he glared down at her. “You know I’ll never live it down if I walk with a limp tomorrow.”
“Hmm, I know.” He kissed her forehead despite her cursing him, but her words lacked any heat or conviction in them.

Cayde-6, May you rest easy Hunter. You served your purpose old friend.
The initial trend has a hold of my heart, especially with the like quotes, and I found one to do.
Be prepared for many more. Feel free to message me ideas and prompts! I'll try my best!.
16+ fluff, angst, death(forsaken era) hunter y/n guardian pov.
"But I'm dead.."
You looked towards the traveler, sitting at caydes memorial in the tower, the travelers light and presence helped you in these dark times, it's been a year since we lost cayde, colonel his chicken hasn't been the same and hangs with you, finding comfort in your presence, you remind her of cayde, you clutched ace in your hand as the tears rolled down your face. The one year anniversary of loosing your best friend hung heavily on your heart.
"guardian" you quickly wiped your tears and looked up to zavala.
"commander" you stood and brushed yourself off taking a more professional stance.
"at ease guardian. You're fine."
You nodded sitting back down with colonel, zavala sat next to you. "I know that today's hard.. I was hoping I wouldn't find you sitting here with his memorial again."
You sighed heavily shrugging. Cayde was the only exo who could read you without you speaking. He was your trainer ever since the vanguard found you. He was whole with you, and you didn't feel alone with him. The last thing you heard over comms haunts you still.. "I'm coming home .. Ace" his ace of spades... That you.. inherited. With an inscription carved on it, just the letter q and a diamond, it still makes you smile, "my queen of diamonds" he'd always say. He never meant to fall in love with his human apprentice, and you never meant to fall in love with your exo mentor, the only other exo/human relationship you know if is Osiris and saint. Zavala pulled you from your thoughts.
"it's been a year since we lost him.. y/n, I think it's time to move on..."
Your head snapped to zavala and your eyes narrowed. You shook your head no. "I will always grieve him. I loved him comander. I'm not gonna ignore him. Or my feelings for him, or his memorial."
Zavala nodded to you apologizing, ikora appeared and looked at me sadly before pulling zavala away.
----------
Leaving you with your thoughts once again, you sighed, before speaking quietly, "I miss him.." you choked on a sob you didn't know was there, the emotions getting worse, you felt yourself slipping again, it's been harder calming yourself without cayde around, you practiced what he taught you focusing your eyes you looked to the traveler once more, clutching ace to your chest as you struggled to breathe , "I.. I need you cayde.. "
