I FINALLY get to have Christmas lights on my house this year, I'm excited
#i've been dying to put up christmas lights since we got our last house in 2016 but we're both afraid of ladders so it hasn't happened#it's only happening now b/c we're getting gutters installed on wednesday & they offered to put christmas lights up for us at the same time#i wanted to get the colorful ones but the store didn't have quite what i wanted so i ended up with just white#but oh well white lights will look really good and classy with my house lol#also pretty excited b/c the reason we're getting gutters is that after getting the basement floor tiles up we could see that the water was#coming in b/c we don't have gutters so there's a corner where the roof lines meet that just dumps rain right against the house#saw that after it rained pretty heavily last week. so anyway once we have gutters if we can see the basement is dry for a while#then we can proceed with putting floor in and we can start using our basement again & be done with this. holy crap#p
