Which DnD class suits your personality?
Izar: Wizard
You love to learn, whether in a traditional academic setting or on your own. You definitely look before you leap and you may spend so much time coming up with a plan (or five) that you never actually get around to leaping at all. You work best when you’ve had time to prepare. You love getting to the heart of something and really understanding it on a deeper level.
You may not be the strongest physically, but few can match your sharp mind.
Subclass: Order of Scribes
Among wizards, the Order of Scribes is the most bookish. It takes many forms in different worlds, but its primary mission is the same everywhere: recording magical discoveries so that wizardry can flourish. And while all wizards value spellbooks, a wizard in the Order of Scribes magically awakens their book, turning it into a trusted companion. You’re a curious person who highly values the preservation of knowledge.
You probably have really strong feelings about the Library of Alexandria Raya Lucaria. You’re pretty resourceful and you’re good at using whatever tools are available to you to help you learn what you want to know or to accomplish a goal. You can happily spend a whole day absorbed by research or studying and you pour so much time and care into your work that you might start to see it as an extension of yourself.
Ensha: Fighter
You’re a practical and determined person who goes after what you want. You’re very competitive and may be a bit of a perfectionist, always challenging yourself to do better. You’re not an especially flashy person and you don’t care about status or luxury unless it’s something you’ve earned. You’re grounded and focused on the real world, more concerned with what is than with what could be.
Subclass: Champion
The archetypal Champion focuses on the development of raw physical power honed to deadly perfection. Those who model themselves on this archetype combine rigorous training with physical excellence to deal devastating blows. You’re a strong and determined person who cares a lot about self-improvement. You want to be the best version of yourself and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to get there. You’re very resilient and it takes a lot to keep you down for long. At times you might be a little impulsive, planning is not necessarily your strong suit. You’re very straightforward, sometimes to the point of bluntness, and you feel that the most direct path is usually the best path.

Tagging: @miseryscrowned (for whatever OC you see fit!) and anyone who'd like to do it!
#prized by the crafty and fleet of foot | tags and dash games#HA! wizard and fighter were EXACTLY what i had in mind for izar and ensha! no surprises here :)#tbh i got the divination subclass for izar at first but didn't save the link and upon retaking the quiz i ended up with scribes#however that's pretty fitting for my book-loving astrologer–although before the quiz i was thinking evocation magic for her?#likewise i'd say battle master or eldritch knight might be a better fit for ensha?#however while the champion subclass is a little lackluster feature-wise the flavor and description here still seem fitting

subclass : school of bladesinging
Bladesingers are elves who bravely defend their people and lands. They are elf wizards who master a school of sword fighting grounded in a tradition of arcane magic. In combat, a bladesinger uses a series of intricate, elegant maneuvers that fend off harm and allow the bladesinger to channel magic into devastating attacks and a cunning defense. You’re a thoughtful person who is willing to confront things head-on if you’ve decided it’s the best course of action. You may not come across as intimidating, but you can be almost frighteningly determined when you put your mind to it. You have an analytical way of thinking and you always have a reason behind what you do, even if it might sometimes seem impulsive from an outside perspective. You put a lot of time and effort into your interests and hobbies, and though some might think your skills are overly specific or not applicable to the real world, you can often put the skills you’ve learned to use in surprisingly effective ways.

Dnd Unused Subclasses: Artificer: Biomancer
While most Artificers are content with mechanical innovation, some see biology, the science of living things, as an area rife with potential. Biomancers are those who use their talents to supplement their own anatomy and create life. Combining necromancy and transmutation magic, Biomancers see all living things as prototypes that can be magically evolved.
Tools of the Trade: By the time you adopt this specialty at level 3, you're deeply familiar with employing its tools.
Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with alchemist's supplies and leatherworker's tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice. You also gain those tools for free-the result of tinkering you've done as you've prepared for this specialization.
Crafting: If you craft a magic item in the potion category, it takes you a quarter of the normal time, and it costs you half as much of the usual gold.
Biomancer Spells: You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Biomancer Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare. (Spells that don't have a link are listed at the end)
Level 3: False Life Find Familiar
Level 5: Alter Self Dragon's Breath
Level 9: Haste Life Transference
Level 13: Giant Insect Polymorph
Level 17: Insect Plague Reincarnate
Level 3 Aberrant Chimera: You can use your understanding of Biomancy magic to create an aberrant life form. Starting at level 3, whenever you cast Find Familiar, you instead create a Chimera, which functions as a normal familiar, but has the following changes:
The material component is 1 pound of organic matter.
It is a monstrosity (instead of a celestial, fey, or fiend).
It has additional hit points equal to your artificer level.
As an action, the Chimera can touch a creature and sacrifice any amount of its hit points, healing the target for the same amount by grafting its flesh to theirs.
As an action, the Chimera can merge with a creature it can touch, granting it temporary hit points equal to the Chimera's remaining hit points. While merged, the target gains one of the Chimeric Traits below. The creatures remain merged until you create another Chimera, or the temporary hit points are depleted, at which point the Chimera is destroyed.
Amphibious Physiology: While merged, the creature can breathe both air and water, and gains a 30 foot swim speed
Resilient Hide: While merged and not wearing any armor or using a shield, the creature's Armor Class is equal to 10 + your Intelligence modifier + their Constitution modifier.
Vestigial Limb: While merged, the creature grows an additional limb which resembles their own limbs. It has a reach of 5 feet, and can lift a number of pounds equal to your Intelligence score. The limb can't use weapons or shields nor can it do anything that requires manual precision.
Level 5 Augmented Flesh: The power your Chimera works best when merged with its master. Starting at level 5, you gain the following benefits while you are merged with your Aberrant Chimera:
Whenever you make an attack or damage roll, ability check, or saving throw that would normally use your Strength, you can use your Intelligence score instead.
You gain a climbing speed equal to your movement speed, and you can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without making an ability check.
As a bonus action, you can expend a spell slot to grant yourself temporary hit points equal to five times the level of the spell slot + your Intelligence modifier. These temporary hit points are added to any temporary hit points you have from merging with your Aberrant Chimera.
Level 9 Strange Evolution: You have enhanced your own physiology with strange magic. At level 9, your movement speed increases by 10 feet, and you permanently gain one Chimeric Trait of your choice.
When you reach level 15 in this class, you gain a second permanent Chimeric Trait of your choice (for a total of two).
Level 15 Master Biomancer: You have become a master amongst Biomancer artificers. Beginning at level 15, when you target a creature with a Biomancer Spell, you can grant a single target additional temporary hit points equal to your artificer level.
In addition, when merged with your Chimera, you are resistant to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
Life Transference is a level 3 Necromancy spell for Cleric and Wizard. Casting Time is 1 action Range is 30 feet Requires a Verbal and Somatic Component Duration is Instantaneous.
You sacrifice some of your health to mend another creature’s injuries. You take 4d8 necrotic damage, which can’t be reduced in any way, and one creature of your choice that you can see within range regains a number of hit points equal to twice the necrotic damage you take.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.

“On your left!” The Doctor threw up a shield in time to block a bolt aimed directly for Blaze’s shoulder. “I know you’re our main attacker, but try and take better care of yourself!”
“Love you too!” As much as she wanted to heed his words, Blaze was far too in her element right now to do that. They hadn’t expected a fight - hence the Doctor being with them, there was a reason they kept him on the island when they didn’t need him for negotiations - but Reunion had found them on the return trip, and...well, who were they to turn down a fight?
As his beloved bruiser tore through their front line to hone in on their snipers, the Doctor followed after her, relying on his ferrokinesis to keep up the pace. It’d been a while since his Arts had had this kind of workout, and honestly, it felt nice to be reminded that he had something to offer in a fight. No one was telling him he had to sit on the sidelines now, were th- “Blaze!”
“What?” THUNK. “Huh? What was th- Doctor!”
“I’m fine, let’s just finish this!” He used the bolt in his chest to staunch the bleeding from said wound as he fired back, using the snipers’ weapons against them as they realized just how badly they’d fucked up. Within a matter of seconds, the matter that used to be Reunion snipers was better described as shredded mystery meat, and Blaze was carrying him gingerly but quickly back to their vehicle.
For the rest of the drive home, things were close-to-the-wire, as the Doctor fell in and out of consciousness while the other Medics attended to him. They couldn’t remove the bolt, since he’d fused it to himself in the heat of the moment, but they did what they could to stabilize him until things could be properly fixed back on base. Once they were home, he was taken to Intensive Care, and the difficult part began in earnest. Every Medic on staff made a contribution, no matter how small, to the final procedure’s plan, but in the end it was Saria, Silence, and Kal’tsit herself who managed to remove the bolt without leaving him at death’s door in the process. Of course, he now had a long road to recovery ahead of him...and a very concerned Feline to keep from exploding everything in her concern.
It was a full three days before she could see him, but the instant his room was open to visitors, she was by his side. “Doctor! Doctor, I...Why did you do that?”
“Why did I stop that bolt from killing you?” He was groggy from the cocktail of drugs they had him on, but he was definitely awake. The strange hollowness in his chest made sure of that. “Gee, I dunno. Maybe because I love you?”
“That shot wouldn’t have killed me, and you know that. Ugh, why do you guys always do this...”
Was he not the first to nearly die for her? “What do you means, ‘you guys?’”
“Do you know why I like deploying with A1, Doctor?” Blank stare. “They know they don’t need to protect me; I can take a beating, and they can patch me up when the job’s done without worrying about losing me. You’re the fourth guy I’ve been deployed with to try and take a shot for me, and...well...I’m just lucky you didn’t die out there.”
“I knew what I was doing-”
The door slammed shut behind her as the air pressure in the room suddenly changed. “If you knew what you were doing, you wouldn’t have done it! That bolt was going to hit me in my abdomen, where I’ve got the most Originum buildup anyway; it probably would’ve just bounced off, or at worst gone skin-deep before it hit the solid rock. If you were just trying to protect me, you could’ve bent the bolt mid-air or something, but you had to feed your pride by jumping in front of it...Just like Axel did.”
“I don’t know who that is,” he admitted, “but my Arts aren’t so easy to employ on the fly like that. Without losing concentration on my hoverboard, I couldn’t have stopped it, so I used the only shielding I had. I’m no expert on trajectories, so all I had was a guess, and if you’re trying to judge where it would have hit you by what it looked like after it hit me, I had to move it some while adjudicating the stop-gap I used. It could’ve been higher and shot you in your weak spot.”
“My weak spot?”
The Doctor smiled. “You know, that little bit right below your chest that isn’t protected?”
“Where my heart is. I should’ve guessed - you like that spot way too much.” She sighed. “Still, I’ve taken hits there before.”
“From a serrated bolt like that?” He pointed at the bolt head, which he’d asked to be put in a vial next to him. “That’s an armor-piercer if I’ve ever seen one.”
Blaze slumped into a chair at his side. “I can’t keep arguing with you about this...You know I hate fighting with you.”
“Yeah, I know-”
“-because I’m worried I’ll scare you off by being too hard on you.” She grabbed his hand. “But if you die on me, like everyone else does, it won’t matter how many times I give into you...You’ll just be another corpse of someone I loved.”
The Doctor squeezed her hand. “It’s going to make more than this to get me.”
“How much more? For Axel, it was this exact sort of thing; Lazarus had his head chopped off by an executioner’s axe, clean off his neck, while trying to stop me from going forward; Ridire’s shield slammed into the top of his head while he was deflecting a blow from me. Do I need to keep going?”
“Baby, I know there’s a reason you go ahead, I really do.” He looked her in the eye. “That’s why I don’t deploy you with teams with heavy Defenders unless they’re going to a different objective. I promise, I’m not going anywhere...and if you really need me to, I’ll promise not to jump in front of a bolt for you again unless I know for sure it’ll be what does you in if I don’t.”
She sniffed as a tear came to her eye. “I can’t lose you, too, Doctor.”
“You won’t, Blaze. You won’t.”
“...I’m gonna hold you to that.” She set her head on his safe shoulder. “How long are they keeping you?”
“Tissue regeneration takes a while, so...at least a couple of weeks.”
Blaze sighed. “And I’m guessing they won’t let me sleep with you while you’re here?”
“Funny thing about that.” He chuckled, which had a strange new resonance to it as it echoed from his extra cavity. “So long as we don’t do anything too strenuous, they never set any restrictions like that.”
“...When’s their next checkup?”
The Doctor glanced at the clock. “An hour from now. That long enough?”
“It’ll have to do.” She looked at the door. “And if it’s not long enough, we’ll make it longer.”
“Heh...That’s what she said.”
Blaze chuckled. “Look, you. Play nice, or I just might make you wait.”
“I’ll be good,” he suddenly declared. “Messenger’s honor.”
“That’s more like it. Drink some more water. Wouldn’t want you to dehydrate before we’re done...”

So, you want to play a Demon Summoner?
In DnD 5e you'll most likely be drawn to the Wizard and Warlock classes becuase they gain access to the spells used to summon demons from their classes' spell lists, however there is a better option.
The College of Lore Bard through a Bard's magical secrets offers you all the necessary demon summoning spells with some extra advantages.
You use charisma as your spellcasting modifer and have access to expertise in persuassion/deception/intimidation allowing you to more easily control fiends summoned by the "Infernal Calling" spell.
You can use your magical secrets to gain access to protective spells unavailable to Wizards and Warlocks, such as the "Forbidance" and "Temple of the Gods" spells.
You can the College of Lore's "Cutting Words" and "Peerless Skill" features to cause summoned fiends to fail the ability checks necessary to control them through the "Infernal Calling" spell.
You can actually get some use out of the "Countercharm" feature to help protect you from a fiends attempts to charm or frighten you without breaking concentration.
So, what are the necessary decisions to play a Bard like this? Choose the College of Lore and pick some spells to summon fiends, that help you control fiends, or that protect you from them. If I had the chance to play this, here are what my picks for Magical Secrets would be;
At 6th Level I would choose the "Magic Circle" and "Summon Lesser Demons" spells. "Magic Circle" is crucial for some combinations later on and the "Summon Lesser Demons" spell, while hard to control, is a great start for your demon summoner's journey.
At 10th Level I would choose the "Infernal Calling" and "Banishment" spells. "Infernal Calling" lets you summon powerful fiends who, as mentioned earlier, can be made to do your bidding if you're charismatic enough, but can fall out of your control unless you cast the "Planar Binding" spell from the Bard Spell List to control them for a month at a gp cost. It is easiest to do that combo with the "Magic Circle" spell from earlier. The "Banishment" spell is there to yet your fiends away if they start causing problems.
At 14th Level I would choose the "Forbidance" and "Summon Fiend" or "Temple of the Gods" spells. "Forbidance" creates a space of a shape you can manipulate, as a ritual spell, which makes the space damaging to fiends you haven't given the password to. It serves as another excellent layer of protection. The "Summon Fiend" spell lets you summon a perfectly controlable fiend, which demonstrates a mastery of demon summoning. However the "Temple of the Gods" spell could help you bind more powerful fiends summoned by "Infernal Calling" to your will by damaging their saving throws and being a great protective spell, but it is difficult to use.
As for feats, if your DM allows them I'd recommend the "Resilient" feat. to give you proficiency in wisdom saving throws, it just offers protection from any mind fuckery a fiend might want to do. After that it's up to you, though the "Eldritch Adept" feat. particularly with the "Devil's Sight" invocation makes for some excellent flavouring while also being useful.
So get on out there and sing the Ballad of the Demon Summoner by playing this Bard!

How to Play as the Charizard Line in Dnd 5e
Let’s not kid ourselves. If Pikachu wasn’t the mascot of this franchise, Eevee and Charizard would be duking it out for 2nd place. This Kanto line has more forms than Bulbasaur and Squirtle combined, and it’s getting even more love now because I’m going to create a DnD build around Charmander.
Starting with Charmander
For race, we’re choosing Red Dragonborn, though if you want to go with the shiny variant, you can also go with a Gold Dragonborn. You get +2 STR and +1 CHA, you resist Fire-type damage, and you can read, write, and speak Draconic.
Alignment can vary from Charmander to Charmander. Since we’re building a species and not one specific pokemon, it’s a bit more ambiguous. Though Ash’s Charmander grew into a moody teenager, so one could argue chaotic neutral or chaotic good.
For background, pokemon primarily compete in spectacle combat sports, so the Gladiator background works very nicely here. You gain proficiency in Athletics and Intimidation.
The Fire Lizard Pokemon
Sorcerer
Draconic Bloodline
Same as your race, you can trace your draconic lineage to Red or Gold dragons for fire magic. With this subclass, you’re tougher, deal STAB fire-type damage, Eventually grow wings, and have the awe-inspiring presence of a true dragon.
Stats and Proficiencies
Charizard’s SPA ATK stat is its highest stat, so Charisma will be our top stat. Charizard is the fastest of the three Kanto starters, so Dexterity should at least be about 16 or so. Physical attack is next, so we’ll give it a good Strength score, and the lowest of Charizard’s stats is its Health, for a passable Constitution score. Intelligence and Wisdom don’t really apply and can both be dropped.
Name: Charizard Race: Red Dragonborn Background: Gladiator Alignment: Neutral Class: Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer (20) Base Stats: Strength: 16 (+3) Dexterity: 18 (+4) Constitution: 14 (+2) Intelligence: 8 (-1) Wisdom: 8 (-1) Charisma: 20 (+5) Saving Throws: Strength: +3 Dexterity: +4 Constitution: +8 Intelligence: -1 Wisdom: -1 Charisma: +11 Combat Stats: HP: 163 AC: 17 Speed: 30 Initiative: +3 Proficiency Bonus: +6 Passive Perception: 9 Dark Vision: 0 feet Proficiencies: Arcana Athletics Insight Intimidation Skills: Acrobatics: +10 Medicine: -1 Animal Handling: -1 Nature: -1 Arcana: +5 Perception: +5 Athletics: +9 Performance: +5 Deception: +8 Persuasion: +5 History: -1 Religion: -1 Insight: +5 Sleight of Hand: +4 Intimidation: +11 Stealth: +4 Investigation: -1 Survival: -1

Features:
Breath Weapon. Exhale fire in a 15 ft cone once per rest. Damage Resistance. Resist Fire damage. Draconic Pressence. Creatures within 60 feet are charmed by or afraid of you. Draconic Resilience. Increase your max HP as you level up in the class. Your AC is 13 + DEX when unarmored. Dragon Ancestor. Double Cha proficiency when dealing with dragons. Dragon Wings. You have a fly speed of 30 feet. Elemental Affinity. Add your CHA mod to Fire damage spells. Font of Magic. Use 20 sorcerery points to use Metamagic or cast spells. Metamagic. Empowered Reroll damage rolls equal to your CHA mod Quickened Cast spells that take 1 action as a bonus action Subtle Cast spells without the verbal requirements. Twinned Hit more creatures with spells that target only 1 creatures. Sorcerous Restoration. Recover 4 Sorcery Points on a short rest.
I took the liberty of including a few none-fire spells for variety. Spells like Earthquake, Erupting Earth (Rockslide), Solar Beam (Sunbeam), Double Team (Mirror Image), and Protect (Shield), mostly because enough creatures resist Fire damage that Charizard needs a few other spell options to hurt them effectively. I figured for this build, You’re a Chamander until level 7, then become a Charizard at level 14 when you get your Dragon Wings feature.
