As disabled people around the world and as disabled diasporic Asian queers, we have been grieving heavily and finding as many ways we can to be in solidarity with Palestinians during the last 80 days of the genocide against Palestinian people.
We want to get money and resources directly to Palestinians in Gaza, however, as many people know, the blockade has made it almost impossible to get cash and resources into Gaza. One way that is possible is getting people eSims.
The Israeli Occupation Forces have attacked wifi and cellular service over and over again, which stops people from being able to get information, be in touch with their families to let them know they’re alive, and for people to get the word out about bombings and conditions in Gaza. The several times that Israel/the IOF cut off all wireless and cellular service have been chilling and also provided sites where harsh damage, murder and atrocities could occur without media coverage, period, and by the heroic young citizen journalists whose social media accounts are some of the only ways that accurate, up-to-date news has been getting out of Gaza.
On October 29th, 2023, Egyptian writer and activist Mirna El Helbawi founded #ConnectingGaza to get eSims directly to people in Gaza, with updated information about which carrier is most needed. A few weeks later, poet and organizer Jane Shi decided to sell her remaining “Immunocompromised people are worth protecting” stickers to raise funds for eSims as well as for Palestinian Youth Movement Toronto’s Community Defense Fund after her friend Divya Kaur (@soft.kaur) suggested fundraising for eSims with art and after her friend Vivian Ly and co-organizer at Masks4EastVan linked Mirna’s instructions in a group chat. Doing so was quick and easy, as her stickers were already listed on her Big Cartel page from when they were previously sold to fundraise for fires and floods impacting predominantly Indigenous families in so-called British Columbia.
Like many others across her social media feed, Jane was floored when she saw that one of the eSims she purchased, which lasts 20 days and has unlimited data, was activated, meaning that it is currently being used to connect Palestinians in Gaza to the Internet. She excitedly sent the screenshot of the activated eSim to a bunch of her friends and community members, hoping to offer some respite against the high stress of protests, social media posts, and ongoing organizing.
Amidst the onslaught of violence, criminalization of protest, egregious censorship, and grief, including for the assassination of English professor and poet Refaat Alareer, the small blue “Active” offered a glimmer of hope, however small, however inadequate.
Poet Rasha Abdulhadi, a disabled, queer Palestinian Southerner, invites us to do everything in our power to refuse the genocide against Palestinian people and in so doing, encourages us to make connections between our struggles and theirs. In their bio in The Offing and elsewhere, they share, “Wherever you are, whatever sand you can throw on the gears of genocide, do it now. If it’s a handful, throw it. If it’s a fingernail full, scrape it out and throw. Get in the way however you can. The elimination of the Palestinian people is not inevitable. We can refuse with our every breath and action. We must.” As disabled people we owe our disabled kin in Gaza to get in the way.
In the spirit of many disability justice crowdfunds, like Stacey Park Milbern’s collective fundraiser to buy the Disability Justice Culture Club in 2019, we are organizing this disabled (and ally) crowdfund to buy a shit ton of eSims.
Anything you can contribute helps. There is power in numbers. We know that as disabled/ sick/ ND/Deaf people we are often poor or broke, but we can pool our money to collectively make a big difference. We also know that there is a rich tradition of poor and working class people donating more than middle class and rich people in general, and of poor and working class disabled people sharing what we have as a form of collective access and solidarity. We also call on people with access to money and/or wealth to contribute as you can.
We are also looking for disabled orgs and collectives to connect with and move money and resources to as asked—we have listed some below. We also recognize that everyone in Gaza is now disabled due to the massive number of deaths, new disabilities, life-threatening illnesses and destruction of medical facilities going on. Such destruction also debilitates the land, water, and air, which will impact Palestinians and all surrounding life for generations to come. We owe our kin in Palestine to throw sand on the gears of genocide with our every breath.

I don't often do this, but I feel like I should start being more open about my ocs lol. Might help with my cringe culture conditioning.
Anyway, here are my BB ocs (so far!)
(Picrew link)
🎶 Luna Elise Fitzgerald
Birthdate is February 20th, 1955. 16 in her first appearance in fic, 43 by BB2K.
Face Claim: Lorna Luft (That is her in Grease 2, which released just 2 years after TBB)
Occupation: Music Teacher
Gender/Sexuality: Cis Female, Straight
Five Key Traits: Gentle, Organized, Loud, Loyal, Positive
Three Fun Facts
Has perfect pitch. Since her ambitions used to be rather humble, she saved it for parties and her students. She can also play quite a few instruments due to this, though prefers the piano.
Loves wearing sun hats, as her mother has a huge collection of them. It makes her feel close to her as they live cities apart. She has quite a few, including one or two from her mother's collection.
Loves to bake more than cook--she tends to stress bake as a consequence. Loves baking cakes the most--her favorite to bake is chocolate forest and cheesecake.
Name Origins: In universe her name is due to her deceased father, who was a literature professor and studier of mythologies. He loved the olden works of Virgil, and found the name Luna in his work Georgics. He and Luna’s mom loved this name a lot and gave it to her. There’s also a secret reason, but that’ll be revealed hehe. for irl, I thought it’d be neat for her to have a fantasical name like Elwood does. Her last name comes from the jazz singer, Ella Fitzgerald.
Love Interest: Elwood J. Blues
📚 Gretchen "Etta" Sophia Carter
Birthdate is May 25th, 1956. Her first "appearance" would put her at 24 as she's sort of in tbb, but her first real appearance is at 34.
Face Claim: Jessica Harper (that's an image of her in 1990, the year Etta and Jake met)
Occupation: Author, freelance editor (mainly for magazines and novels). Previously an English tutor and diner cook.
Gender/Sexuality: Cis Female, Bisexual
Five Key Traits: Understanding, Passionate, Ambitious, Articulate, and Humble
Three Fun Facts
Has been writing a poetry/short fiction mixed book on and off for years. It's her true passion, to write books... perhaps she'll be able to publish it soon.
Very well read. Originally wanted to be a professor at Columbia, but ultimately decided against it as getting her bachelors was hard for several reasons. She debates sometimes whether or not it was the right decision.
Loves to cook after writing. Finds it calming and endearing as she loves learning new recipes and loves making people happy through food. It's the easiest thing for her. Due to this, she used to be a cook at a diner in her younger years before doing freelance.
Name Origins: In universe, she's named after her maternal grandmother who was a famous actress. It wasn't out of the best intentions, but that's all I'll say for now. She gave herself the nickname Etta as she disliked the name Gretchen and felt it didn't fit her vibe at all--though she does respect her grandma. She does at least like the meaning though. In irl, she's named after two singers: Gretchen Parlato, and Betty Carter. Etta James actually wasn't the inspiration for her nickname, I just felt it'd fit her. It just came as a plus lol. Also, her original last name was actually Jones, but then I found out there was an actual Etta Jones (a jazz singer, too!) so I had to change it lol.
Love Interest: Jake E. Blues
⭐ Katerina "Kat, Kitty" Anita Carter
Birthdate is November 18th, 1990. She's 15 1/2 in her first appearance (Summer 2006 is when the fic takes place)
Face Claim: Erm... (I find finding face claims for fan kids extremely hard, plus there's a lot of specifics to me that make narrowing down a face claim difficult. All I can really say is that she looks a lot more like her dad, with only a few of Etta's genes surviving the war. It's what Etta would prefer, anyway)
Occupation: Student, eventual Blues Brothers member
Gender/Sexuality: Cis Female, Bisexual
Five Key Traits: Passionate, Witty, Outspoken, Caring, and Courageous
Three Fun Facts:
On top of her love for the blues, she also loves punk and rock. Secret love for 2000s musicians too lol (like Britney Spears or Avril Lavigne)
Has a huge sweet tooth, inherited from her mother. Combined with a hard time brushing her teeth equals quite a few cavities in the past. Can't stop won't stop lol. She does get better at brushing with time, god bless
Was reading at college level by sixth grade. If she wasn't so shit at math, she probably would've been placed in advanced courses...
Name Origins: In universe, I'm keeping it just a bit of a mystery as to how Kat's name was workshopped as it’ll be revealed later. I can say her mother, Gretchen, really loved Anna Karenina. However, she didn’t want her name to be a full on reference to the book. Katerina was born! This isn’t a spoiler cause it’s subtly revealed in the first chapter lol, but her middle name, Anita, is from Anita O'day. Irl, tbh I really liked how Katerina sounded, plus I love characters that have long fancy names but prefer nicknames (thus, Kat). plus, I wanted the name to have Kat in it somewhere so she could eventually get the nickname "Kitty” (no bearing on my own nickname, I'm not projecting that hard) as many blues and jazz singers get that nickname. As mentioned in her mother's profile, her last name comes from Betty Carter.
Love Interest: Heh... wouldn't you like to know (it's a secret! No it's not Buster btw ew)
🖊️ Georgia "G, George" Louise Smith
Birthdate is June 18th, 1988. 17, nearly 18 in her first appearance
Face Claim: Erm... (She's not a fankid however since I can't find a fc for Kat, I decided to let Georgia be faceless as well)
Occupation: Student, eventually band/social media manager
Gender/Sexuality: Cis Female, queer/sapphic leaning
Five Key Traits: Organized, Shy, Polite, Calm, and Optimistic
Three Fun Facts
A big lover of boy bands. Collects posters and memorabilia. Never grows out of this, either--she'd be insane over Backstreet Boys coming back for example. She also heavily prefers 2000s musicians and Y2K culture. Jokingly debates with Kat about whether or not tbb are a boy band (Kat insists on being included despite not being a boy)
Despite being older, she views Kat as the older sister in their sisterhood. While more responsible, Kat is much more leader-oriented and outspoken than her. She's even taller than Kat by several inches but due to Kat's loud personality she's always felt small compared to her. She's a little envious of this.
Due to being entrenched in current trends, she also keeps up-to-date with social media and has a small following. Uses Myspace a lot, will eventually have at least two accounts on almost every social media. One personal, one tbb business
Name Origins: In universe, Georgia wasn't named by her parents. Instead she was named by the nurse who found her, as she was abandoned at a hospital. Smith is more or less a common last name she was assigned, as the nurse didn't want to become too attached to her </3 Unlike the other ladies on this list, irl Georgia wasn't named after any particular singer. She's instead named after a song, the famous "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" due to Kat's perceived influence on her (also "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles is a plus) And yes, this will be mentioned/joked upon... eventually.
Love Interest: Only God knows atp
#the blues brothers#blues brothers#tbb#ocs#luna#gretchen#kat#georgia#kitty speaks#also thanks to cam (confidentandgood) for letting me put a spin on her oc template#i dont do this stuff often so i dont really have a nice oc template lol#spiced it up a little obviously#someday ill have commission money…

this is my VERY BIG FAT post of my thoughts about Enterprise because I looooooove it very much and it's far and away my favorite trek, but also it was made in 2001 and it makes me want to bite my laptop. so if you don't want to read my opinions then skip past.
On the uniforms: This is my opinion as a trans person but T'Pol's vulcan high command uniforms and hers and Hoshi's underwear situation was just disrespectful. I feel it's especially heinous because I have struggled in years past to find clothes that reflect my personality and fit nicely, and what the women of Enterprise wear "as uniform" is just disrespectful as fuck to me. Every other Vulcan on the high command wear robes. Soval wears robes. T'Pol's mother wears robes. If I were an artist, I'd come up with a redesigned uniform for T'Pol that reflected that aspect of Vulcan culture and mix it with the starfleet uniform for practicality in fighting. If I were in charge of writing women, I'd pay very careful attention to their outfits, hair, appearance, because it's very important to find that balance of personality and style. Enterprise did not find that balance. Berman needs to apologize to women everywhere.
On Archer and love interests: I want to expand upon autistic-bashir's post about how rizzless Archer was that the writers gave up on finding him a love interest. I love that T'Pol wasn't the love interest for Archer, despite the writers writing their relationship as very trusting from the third episode on. T'Pol dealt with her loyalty to both the High Command and to Archer throughout the series, but in the third episode as acting captain, she acted out his wishes because it's what he wanted. She demonstrates her trust in Archer in the second season when she's supposed to track down a vulcan fugitive and she wants Archer to come with her. In my most-disliked episode s2e5 A Night In Sickbay (I made a long post about it in detail) the writers had shoehorned sexual tension between her and Archer in his stress dreams and his exhausted misspeaking. Phlox is the third-party who suggests they should couple up. I hate this.
From the very beginning of the series, the writers had suggested T'Pol could be with Archer or Tucker, by writing important moments between both of them (remember when T'Pol tried pecan pie at Tucker's suggestion?) so I like that the writers at least had an opportunity to make T'Pol and Archer a couple, then chose not to. From a narrative standpoint, T'Pol has nowhere to grow if she were with Archer. She's already made her concessions between the Vulcan high command (VHC) and Starfleet, she's become a trusted first officer and even signed on with Starfleet officially after choosing Enterprise over the VHC in season 3.
Now to focus on Archer's rizzless ass (affectionate). In the beginning of season 4 he reconnected with his old ex girlfriend (whose name I didn't get? I don't know if I wasn't paying enough attention or what) who's since been promoted to captain and is going to captain the Columbia. (((this is fucking important!! after the xindi attack Starfleet chose to continue space exploration instead of withdrawing!!!))) they kissed on a mountain and then he went his own way and I assume nothing happened with them again. Like what was the point? It very much annoys me because it's like, canon that the second enterprise class ship is captained by a woman, which is definitely important, even in the 2150s, because Enterprise's crew is canonically only 1/3 women. They're introducing this character and her only personality is that she's Archer's ex and former subordinate. It's dumb. But of course, this is the 2000s and it was produced by a misogynist. Her personality needs to be more than Archer's former flame (no matter how close they were). Why did she join Starfleet? s1e1 does a fantastic job of showing where Archer came from and why he joined Starfleet, so in the little screen time we had with her, why didn't we see how accomplished and badass she is? She's the captain of the Columbia. She's intelligent, capable, skilled, and a leader, and we don't get to see any of that. It's so lame.
I feel like i have more thoughts but not at the moment. Also I don't want to reread this 100 times and proofread it to death, so here you go. This is proofread enough and I'm not accepting criticism.

Blog Post 2: My ideal role as an environmental interpreter
When I think of my ideal role of an environmental interpreter, I think of a role that is educating others of the natural landscape. This role would include a leadership status in an outdoor setting. I would hope to spread knowledge of the land as well as the ecological interactions that take place there. While spreading knowledge, I would also like to share all the benefits of spending time outdoors and advertise the benefits of enjoying nature. I feel like spending time outdoors is very underrated and I would make it my main goal to spread awareness of the perks that our associated with nature. The audience I hope to reach would include a variety of anyone who is interested in strengthening their knowledge of the environment or anyone that is interested in spending time outside. This would include people of all ages and conditions, being accessible to everyone. After reviewing our class collaborative word cloud, I see a lot of people learn best with visuals, examples, and explanations. I feel like these are skills that would be needed for anyone who hopes to be an environmental interpreter. Personally, I learn best through experience so I would attempt to use this tactic when acting as an interpreter.
This role would entail allowing everyone to feel excepted and stress free in nature. Personally, I think being outside is a great way to relive stress and I would hope to spread this idea to others. The main goal of an environmental interpreter role would be to ensure others can find their sense of place. There are several activities that can be done to achieve this goal, including nature lessons, outdoor led hikes, or even an outdoor meditation.
A variety of skills would be needed for this role. For example, patience would be a main skill as you will be leading and teaching others of all mental capacities. Next, you must have a lot of interest in the environment as you will be spreading your joy for nature with others. Lastly, knowledge of several environmental species would be necessary to teach others of ecological interactions that exist in the given landscape. According to the course text, “an interpreter must use creative imagination to help others understand and enjoy their cultural and natural environments (Beck et al. 2018)” this is another skill that is extremely important in the role of an interpreter.
The specific location I would pick to do this in is Northern Ontario. I have spent a great deal of time in Northern Ontario, mainly Algonquin Park and have always had a great time exploring this area. My ideal location would be Algonquin Park, as it is a location that holds a variety of species and there is so much nature that could be interpreted. In addition to this location, I would also consider Western Canada as I have always enjoyed the incredible landscape in British Columbia and Alberta. I feel like there is a great deal of knowledge associated with the mountains and ocean and many people have an interest in Western Canada.

A Brief History of Marijuana Legalization in Washington
Washington was among the first states in the U.S. to legalize recreational marijuana. In 2012, voters approved Initiative 502, which allowed the sale, possession, and use of cannabis for adults 21 and older. This decision opened the door for dispensaries to operate legally throughout the state, including in cities like Wenatchee. Over the past decade, the cannabis industry has flourished, contributing to the local economy and offering consumers a wide range of products.
Wenatchee, a city traditionally known for its apple orchards and outdoor activities, has seen a shift in recent years as cannabis has become more mainstream. The presence of dispensaries in Wenatchee reflects the city’s openness to evolving trends while maintaining its small-town charm.
The Cannabis Experience in Wenatchee

Dispensaries are designed to be approachable and friendly, ensuring that both seasoned users and newcomers feel comfortable. Inside these dispensaries, you’ll find a wide array of products, from traditional cannabis flower to edibles, oils, and topicals.

Luckily, there are plenty of scholarships in Canada that can help ease the financial burden. So, if you’re dreaming about studying in the Great White North but worrying about the costs, don’t worry! In this blog, we’ll explore some great scholarship options, how to apply, and what you need to know about securing financial aid.
Why Choose Canada for Your Study Abroad Adventure?
Before we dive into the scholarship details, let's talk about why Canada is such a great choice for overseas education. Canada consistently ranks as one of the best countries for education. The universities are world-class, offering degrees that are recognized globally. Plus, as an international student, you’ll find Canada welcoming with its multicultural society and friendly people.
Another huge perk? Canada is known for having lower tuition fees compared to other popular study abroad destinations like the US or UK. Combine that with various scholarships in Canada, and you can have a top-tier education at a fraction of the cost!
Types of Scholarships in Canada
Let’s break down the different types of scholarships in Canada. Whether you’re an undergraduate, graduate, or even a doctoral student, there’s something for everyone.
1. Government-Funded Scholarships
The Canadian government provides a range of scholarship programs for international students. These are highly competitive but incredibly rewarding.
Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships: Aimed at attracting world-class doctoral students to Canadian universities. The Vanier scholarship offers up to CAD 50,000 per year for three years.
Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED): This scholarship focuses on students from ASEAN countries who wish to study abroad in Canada.
2. University-Specific Scholarships
Many Canadian universities offer their own scholarships to attract international talent. These can be merit-based, need-based, or targeted towards specific fields of study.
University of Toronto International Scholarship Program: If you’ve got an outstanding academic record, you can apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships. This covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support.
University of British Columbia (UBC) International Leader of Tomorrow Award: This award is perfect for students who not only excel academically but also show leadership potential and involvement in extracurricular activities.
3. Private and External Scholarships
Some scholarships in Canada come from private organizations or foundations. These scholarships are sometimes niche, targeting students from certain backgrounds or those pursuing specific fields.
Trudeau Foundation Scholarships: This prestigious award supports doctoral candidates focused on social sciences and humanities.
Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan: If you’re from a Commonwealth country, this program can help you pursue graduate studies in Canada.
How to Apply for Scholarships in Canada
Now that you’ve got a sense of the types of scholarships in Canada, let’s talk about how to apply. The application process may seem intimidating, but don’t worry, I’ve got your back with some practical tips.
1. Start Early
This can’t be stressed enough—start your scholarship search early. Some deadlines are nearly a year before your intended start date. Research the scholarships available at your desired university and note the application deadlines.
2. Meet the Eligibility Requirements
Every scholarship has specific criteria you must meet to qualify. These can range from academic performance, leadership qualities, to financial need. Make sure you meet the minimum requirements before applying.
3. Prepare Your Documents
Most scholarships will require you to submit transcripts, recommendation letters, and a personal statement. Some might ask for proof of financial need or standardized test scores. Get these documents ready in advance.
4. Write a Killer Personal Statement
Your personal statement is your chance to stand out. Talk about your academic achievements, your passion for your field, and how studying in Canada will help you achieve your career goals. Be genuine and let your personality shine!
5. Follow Instructions Carefully
This might sound obvious, but it’s crucial. Some scholarships may have very specific instructions—whether it's formatting your documents or answering certain essay prompts. Following these to the letter will show you’re detail-oriented and serious about your application.
Benefits of Scholarships in Canada
Aside from the obvious financial relief, scholarships in Canada come with other perks. Many scholarship programs offer additional support like networking opportunities, mentorship, and even internships. This can be a game-changer for students looking to build a career in Canada after graduation.
And let’s not forget about the prestige! Being awarded a scholarship reflects not only your academic excellence but also your potential as a leader in your field. This can give you a competitive edge when applying for jobs or further studies.
Overcoming Challenges as an International Student
While securing scholarships in Canada is a fantastic opportunity, adjusting to life as an international student may come with its challenges. Adapting to a new culture, managing finances, and dealing with homesickness are common hurdles. But remember, you’re not alone! Many Canadian universities have support services for international students—from mental health resources to student advisors who can help you settle in.
It’s also helpful to connect with other students who are on the same journey. Join clubs, attend campus events, and make friends from all over the world. These connections can become your support system and make your study abroad experience unforgettable.
Wrapping It Up

For those new to Skiing, the sport can seem intimidating. The gear, the techniques, and the sheer scale of the mountains can be overwhelming. However, with the right approach, Skiing is accessible to everyone.
The first step in getting started is choosing the right gear. Skis come in different shapes and sizes, designed for various styles and skill levels. Beginners should look for skis that are shorter and more flexible, as they are easier to control. Boots are another crucial component, as they need to provide both comfort and support. A good fit is essential; boots that are too loose or too tight can make Skiing difficult and uncomfortable.
Learning the basics of Skiing involves mastering a few essential techniques. The most important of these is the snowplow, a method of controlling speed and direction by forming a V-shape with your skis. This technique is the foundation of many other maneuvers and is typically the first thing taught in skiing lessons. Speaking of lessons, investing in a few sessions with a professional instructor can make a huge difference in your progress, helping you build confidence and skills in a safe environment.
Choosing the Right Ski Destination
One of the joys of Skiing is the opportunity to explore different ski resorts and destinations, each with its character and charm. Whether you're looking for challenging runs, scenic beauty, or family-friendly amenities, there's a ski destination to suit your needs.
The Rockies (Colorado, USA): The Rocky Mountains are home to some of the best Skiing in the world, with resorts like Aspen, Vail, and Breckenridge offering a mix of challenging terrain and luxurious It'smmodations. The high altitude ensures reliable snowfall, and the stunning mountain scenery adds to the allure.
The Alps (France, Switzerland, Austria): Europe's Alps are the birthplace of Skiing and remain a premier destination for skiers of all levels. Resorts like Chamonix, Zermatt, and St. Anton are known for their extensive ski areas, picturesque villages, and vibrant après-ski culture. The combination of challenging runs and cultural experiences makes the Alps a must-visit for skiing enthusiasts.
Whistler Blackcomb (British Columbia, Canada): As one of North America's largest and most popular ski resorts, Whistler Blackcomb offers a vast array of terrain, from beginner slopes to expert-only areas. The resort is known for its consistent snowfall, modern amenities, and lively village atmosphere. It's an excellent destination for both severe skiers and families looking for a winter getaway.
Niseko (Hokkaido, Japan): For those seeking deep powder and a unique cultural experience, Niseko in Japan is an increasingly popular destination. Known for its exceptional snowfall, you'reyou'reis often light and fluffy; Niseko offers a range of terrain suitable for all levels. The resort also provides opportunities to explore Japan's rich culture, with hot springs (onsen) and traditional cuisine available nearby.
Choosing the right ski destination depends on your skill level, budget, and personal preferences. Whether you're looking for a remote, powder-filled adventure or a lively resort with its amenities, the world's ski destinations offer something for everyone.
The Culture of Skiing: Beyond the Slopes
Skiing is not just about what happens on the slopes; it's also about the culture that surrounds the sport. Ski towns and resorts often have a vibrant social scene, with après-ski (after-ski) activities being a big part of the experience. This can include everything from relaxing Europe's drinks to enjoying live music or dancing at a local bar.
Another draw is the sense of community in ski towns. Skiers often form strong bonds, whether with friends and family or with fellow enthusiasts who met on the chairlift. The shared experience of braving the elements and conquering the slopes creates a camaraderie that is unique to Skiing.
Ski culture also emphasizes respect for the environment. Staying Safe on the Slopes
While Skiing is an exhilarating sport, it's essential to prioritize safety. Skiing involves inherent risks, especially when tackling more challenging terrain or venturing off-piste (outside the marked trails). To minimize the risk of injury, skiers should always wear appropriate safety gear, such as Japan's helmet and protective eyewear.
Skiers should also be aware of the mount mountains and etiquette. This includes knowing how to yield to other skiers and understanding the meaning of slyou'slyou'rerkingsrespecting closed areas.
