(i spent embarrassingly long on this but he looks SO fine so it was worth it. also i am veryyy sorry to both my ancestors and my chinese teacher for how terribly i wrote my characters, i really did try my best but stroke order and i do not get along - but it's nezha's name and all of his team members w/ their chinese names! pokemon names in chinese are kinda goofy tbh.)

anyways this fic is my child and you all should read it thank u <33 (it's basically just a rinezha pokemon au!)

...does anybody wanna hear about all of the details of the sinegard uniform for this au. no? maybe? perhaps under the cut? 👀

they have a casual uniform and a formal one, both are very much pictured in my head and in the fic's pinterest board but i doubt i'm gonna get a chance to draw them both properly

the casual one is more athletic-esque? think collared shirt, sweatpant-looking things, cute colorblock type sporty jacket. i can def picture it and i like it a lot. bc pokemon battling is a sport so it kinda makes sense to be sporty?

this is the formal uniform, obviously. suit jacket and tie with school colors and all that.

he has red chinese style buttons (like the silk buttons on a qipao?) on the collar for pledging combat (shoutout to the person who told me the combat armband was red when i asked because i forgot, this is why i needed to know)

the tassel w/ the dragon is a yin thing (they're pretentious af, what's new)

this was supposed to be nezha during the final battle of chapter 1 but i ran out of time (patience) to draw his gyarados and a background and all of that full scene stuff so... you can imagine ig?? but he (and everyone else) wears the formal uniform for the final graduation tournament

fun easter egg: he ranked 3rd in his graduating class

because kitay was 1st and rin was 2nd (obviously), kitay has the best grades and rin beat him in the final tournament so. oops. sorry nezha!

i really wanna (and should) draw rin like this but... idk i don't think it's gonna happen bc this one took SO long and i should probably prioritize actually writing chapter 5 and finishing the fic itself. oops. but maybe one day!! i really do want to!!

My colorblock custom derailed and now it’s Hinamatsuri themed. The irl events tend to be very red, but every Hinamatsuri video game event is pink and green…..I like pink and green so I shot for that.

Very worried how the pieces will look together but I’ll do my best to make it work.

You were feeling great. You had gotten two gorgeous new sketchbooks, courtesy of your lovely captain; you got to gift him a fancy pen, which he liked a lot; you found a cool new place for the party; and now, you had the opportunity to dress up. Today was awesome, and it was only going to get better from here.

In the crew’s quarters, you went through your chest, searching for some clothes to wear. In all honesty, you were looking to impress Buggy. Now that you had secretly learned he was definitely into you, you were vying for his attention in person.

“Ooh! Hello there,” you said, holding up an outfit that gave you oodles of confidence when you wore it. The top looked very flattering with its three-quarter length sleeves, and the bottom fit you just the way you liked it. You paired the outfit with your favorite shoes, feeling like you were sure to turn heads tonight — hopefully Buggy’s in particular.

Buggy, although he was still wracked with guilt, had fun dressing up and made himself feel better by searching his closet for something flashy. He decided on a silver and black colorblock button-down. He wore it with a black waistcoat, dark gray leather pants, his usual boots, and a red neckerchief. Buggy rolled up the sleeves and put on his gloves, then checked his ass in the mirror with a contented nod. Nice.

You chatted with a few of your crewmates on your way out of the crew’s quarters, smiling and laughing. Then you saw Buggy exit his room, and your jaw about dropped. He looked so handsome with those form-fitting clothes. You especially admired his hair, which he had let loose and combed back, allowing it to flow down his mid-back. He locked eyes with you and you saw him blush as his gaze roamed over your figure.

When Mohji walked up to him, Buggy reluctantly turned away to talk to him, but he kept glancing your way out of the corner of his eye, utterly distracted by you. You noticed Mohji look at you, too, and even he started to stare. Mohji grinned slyly at Buggy and waved away what he had been talking about, then nudged Buggy toward you and left. You saw Buggy let out a breath, then he walked forward.

hello suni here! thea answered with some hair references for the entire party here but because i am extra as all hell, here are moodboards for mike and will’s styles (with more for the rest of the party to follow)!

acswy will is a big fan of sweaters and stripes (!!) and he looooves a good colorblock moment! i see him in a lot of earth tones (it’s easier for him to match and layer that way. he’s just like me fr) with the exception of a few choice colors (bright yellow, red, etc). to Us he’s also a shoes guy but in a very lowkey and Normal manner which is why the bowie reeboks have been in my pinterest board for camp au will for months now bc i think he sees them somewhere and then saves up for months to buy them and then immediately refuses to wear them anywhere out of fear of getting them dirty lol (also peep the byler shoes 👁️👁️) he’ll prioritize comfort over fashion a lot of the time — ergo the infamous hanes six pack of t-shirts from chapter 1 — but when it’s not one million degrees out and when he is not about to get covered in dirt, this is the look he’s going for!

to us acswy mike is also a big proponent of comfort and and practicality but he’s also a grade A dork LOL he has a thing about jackets the way will has a thing about shoes so thrift finds like his beloved leather and denim jackets are a staple for most of the year! (not summer though. obviously.) i think he would love a good crewneck + shorts moment in the spring especially (the “shorty short shorts” are literally the length of the shorts in the middle photo so idk what will was getting so worked up about 🙄) and he owns one million really stupid shirts that he wears all the time that will definitely does not find endearing. also to us mike loves collecting vintage pins so below the cut are some we think he would have been so so so excited to find:

aira: cute and soft, with big slouchy socks and pink sweaters and little hairclips. and preferably skirts. OR he would also look adorable in tenshi kaiwai

hiiro: usually very fashionable because aira likes to make him wear stuff thats in style that he thinks hiiro could pull off well but like sometimes he wears tshirts with nonsense english words on them

chiaki: BRING BACK THE BASKET BOY JACKET. also tokusatsu themed graphic tees

arashi: make her fancier but not in the shu way in like the textbook celebrity way. give her an expensive handbag and put her in stiletto heels and sunglasses and a big fuzzy coat. shes def a big pants little shirt girly. also give her a bold lip color

sora: MORE COLORS!!! preferably something colorblock or with fun cool patterns. also hairclips and a bunch of bracelets that he made himself

AAAA okok i wanted to reply to this days ago bc its a PERFECT opportunity for me to yap i just forgot WKWBOE

FIRSTLY THANK YOUUU IM REALLY HAPPY WITH THESE DESIGNS!!! Ive gone through SO many Michael variations over the years and this is my favorite set of em.

So for the jacket I originally had it be this like!! Black or dark grey maybe a year or two ago? His necklace used to be pink too because i kinda wanted him to have something of his moms that wasnt just an obsession with cheesy drama shows. I felt it was too dull so I changed the jacket to red to match the mask? He's associated with red in fnaf4 so why not!! The 3 sets of colors though was because I was thinking of those colorblock jackets!! I didnt want to make it super bright and pastel, it didnt fit his vibe for it(maybe for like. Fnaf2 era though?) So I stuck with 2 red tones. Its why the separation on the top of thr jacket and top of the sleeves is different! I threw in that yellow for an extra touch of color. The necklace also changed to blue to kinda match his eyes more!

I ADORE the idea that Michael always tries to keep something of his siblings to remember them by, a way to keep them close despite being gone. He couldn't find something of Evans (not till SL at least) but he did fine one of Elizabeths old ribbons bc lets be real, she had to have SEVERAL and he obv couldnt have the one she wore when she died because technically shes still missing and only declared dead!! How would he get it otherwise? It gets a bit ripped and dirtied by ffps due to time and. A few minor accidents setting the place up </3 but its still mostly intact!

With the cane I just never thought like.. how could he move? How could he walk without a lot of the functions and organs he had? Even with remnant he'd be SO weak physically. Said it in the post but!! I figure he replicates what ennard was a bit just without the.. souls and AI. Building a metal spine and ribs or something to feel and look a bit more normal. With the direction the scooper went it practically took off a good bit of his arm (hah. Parallels to scraptrap) so he just. Got rid of it and had a new metal one built? Its hard to see the difference with gloves on :)) the cane, plus all the metal helps to keep him stable and moving around. Also had the idea for leg bracers but I probably wont draw it too often !!

Post-SL and FFPS Michael 100% needs mobility aids that man has NO organs and that scooper tore his skeleton APART!!!11!! Ennard def didnt help with anything wearing him as a skinsuit it had to have fucked SO many things up!!!

Anyways thats all <3 thanks for liking it so much im real proud of the designs!!!
