kpop girl group of the day- ATTI

ATTI~ previously under KAACHI, a 3 member independent London Kpop group. The members are: Nicole, Chunseo, and Coco. They debuted on August 11 2023 with the single Blue. They don't have a fandom name but they do have a color which is Sky Blue. On Spotify their top song is Regenration and it has been played 49,277 amount of times.

kaachi: there is a limit

ok im all for criticizing artists and ppl in the public eye especially when its new stuff like kaachi is rn. there is a thick line between something that is constructive and helps people grow vs hate. saying that their vocals are weak is one thing, saying that they need to commit toaster bath is another. its messed up and i hope they do take legal action against people wanting kaachi to harm themselves because of a subpar debut and a mean comment. 

yeah their vocals are meh, their video was meh and they plagiarised. that doesnt give anyone the right to claim that theyre releasing an entire album copying the biggest musical act in the world??? their fandom named hasnt been released yet, neither has the lightstick. theyve only gotten that one MV out, with one single. yall dont need to start fake rumours that ultimately hurt these young girls. 

call kaachi out for appropriation, or poor vocals, or disrespect to the kpop industry. as a consumer of their music, u have the right to express your thoughts on them as musicians. but they are still people. it is NEVER, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES okay to tell people to harm themselves. just like your beloved idols that promote kindness and mental health awareness, these girls also don’t deserve the death threats theyre getting.

wait who’s kaachi and what’s happened??

asdfghjkl kaachi is the new uk-pop band and everyone is jumping on this hate bandwagon, some probably just out right malicious (but I don’t want to say it is). It’s a whole mess honestly, and I understand being against it but this is on a whole new level.

Here are some info that I’ve seen been passed round

They’re under the same label Ol* L*ndon

They have a Venezuelan, white(?), spanish and one korean. (I’m not entirely sure don’t @ me for this)

Three members of the group are from a dance cover group called UJJN (also the original 3 out of 4 members to my knowledge though originally all 4 members were supposed to debut as kaachi but was replaced by another girl miso then the current korean girl coco)

Unfortunately, in a video they had uploaded while playing the mafia dance game. The cameraman blurred out ‘dance lazy’ & ‘jennie’ (I didn’t personally see/watch the video so I don’t know the actual sentence he said)

However ppl bash the kaachi members for his comments (highly think it’s irrelevant)

One of the members is presumed to be a ‘koreaboo’ though that could just be rumours to fuel hate

One member ships themselves with Jungkook

A past member called herself the hwasa of karachi (people got pissed at that)

That’s all I can think of right not so yeah, I don’t really have anything to say about them personally. The song is kinda meh and the rap is…. not to mention how they didn’t have the korean member speak any korean in the song lmao. it’s a whole train wreck

so yesterday i heard about the “kpop” group kaachi from london so i read about them on kprofiles.com and ngl, their song was pretty good. except, they seem kinda problematic and i doubt they’ll prosper when they (unless they already did) debut in s. korea. lowkey i get koreaboo vibes from all the girls except for coco, who’s actually korean.

(also their fandom name is koochi?? kprofiles didn’t have the official name on the website but that’s what i heard)

just my opinion and thoughts! no hate on them.

El primer grupo femenino de KPop del Reino Unido 'KAACHI' hace su debut mundial

El primer grupo de K-Pop del mundo del Reino Unido, KAACHI, acaba de revelar su sencillo debut titulado 'Your Turn', convirtiéndose en el primer grupo de chicas de K-Pop europeo en debutar. El grupo de 4 miembros, compuesto por 3 nacionalidades diferentes: coreana, española y británica, se ha separado del modelo K-Pop tradicional, al crear un concepto innovador de que Kpop más universal y que esté abierto a artistas de todo el mundo.

Coco (bailarina principal), Nicole (voz principal, líder del grupo), Dani (rapera) y Chunseo (bailarina principal) están listas para conquistar el mundo con su nuevo sencillo y video musical, que fusiona el pop europeo, el K-pop y hip-hop, para crear un giro completamente nuevo en el género del K-Pop, específicamente para el mercado europeo y americano.

El nombre del grupo 'KAACHI', se origina de la palabra coreana que significa 'Unión, Valor y Unidad' y simboliza al grupo que se unen con el propósito común de crear 'K-Pop Music' mientras fusiona diferentes países y culturas en un sólo grupo.

Su single debut 'Your Turn' presenta la historia de una niña que lucha con su ex novio, seguido con el inicio de su video musical y las letras, la historia se centra básicamente en la lucha emocional de la niña con el amor y las rupturas, algo con lo que muchas personas pueden empatizar y relacionarse. El mensaje detrás de la canción es inspirador y muestra a la niña luchando contra estas emociones para sobreponerse y llegar a la cima del mundo con confianza y sentirse empoderada.

KAACHI está bajo la tutela del sello británico FrontRow Records. Su directora y productora, Monica Sound, dijo sobre su grupo: 

“Estoy muy feliz de mostrar a KAACHI con el único fin de ayudar a promover el género KPOP a nuevas audiencias, y al mismo tiempo agregamos un toque británico al género. A través de KAACHI, espero que puedan crear una ola de cambio en la percepción de que KPOP ya no es un género musical coreano, sino global."

El grupo fue descubierto y reunido después de que las miembros participaran en el KPOP Dance Competition celebrado en Londres, Inglaterra; en octubre del año pasado y recibió capacitaciones en baile y expresión corporal en 1 Million Dance Studio, el estudio de danza más famoso de Corea. 

También aparecerán en su propia serie de televisión del Reino Unido en el Canal 4, que se transmitirá en mayo, donde mostraran a las ídolos en su viaje de chicas normales con Grandes sueños y aspiraciones para convertirse en estrellas del K-pop.

'Your Turn', el single debut de KAACHI ya está disponible en todas las plataformas de música.
