jb has two boys and he thought it was gonna be easier for him to accept his kids would be dating he was wrong. he’s not judgmental per say but he’s the boy’s coach. so when the start missing practice to sneak off with their girlfriend she’s getting on their asses. he grounds them for a week and have a talk with their girlfriends because if they really loved his sons they wouldn’t let them miss their stuff. puppy!reader let jb followed his lead and they both agreed that school and sports came first. he doesn’t care who they date because he wants his sons happy. art ends up dating one of kie’s daughter and johnny ends up dating one of rafe’s daughters.

jj has one daughter and two sons. he was a fucking hypocrite and bat!reader hated it. he gave leo and ricky condoms when they were sixteen and looking up chasity belts for poppy. she had to remind him that they fucked when they were sixteen. he was overprotective over all of them though. saying he would beat up any dad or mom whose child hurt his children feelings. like stalking their dates and giving their dates lectures. it’s embarrassing but the kids wouldn’t have it any other way because they back him up on it when it’s the others. poppy ends up dating rafe’s son and leo ends up with one of pope’s sons and ricky dating sarah’s daughter.

rafe with his five daughters has his hands full cause they all look like their mom and she’s a MILF. he lightens up with each kid and when jennifer starts dating johnny he doesn’t have a heart attack. like he used to ask what thier date last names are and then listing everything wrong with their parents. swan!reader has to remind him he’s done way worse and to lighten up. he’s telling rj how to properly treat a woman so he can get someone like his mother. he wants his son to do better then he ever did. louisa dates cleo’s daughter, jessica dates kie’s son, raquel dates topper’s son, lydia dating pope’s son, jennifer daring johnny, and rj is dating poppy.

pope is trying his hardest to be supportive to the best of his ability. trying to give the best advice he can but he sucks at it at the same time. he’s trying not to freak out but his kids are kitten’s children at the end of the day. he’s not worried about their hearts getting broken, he’s worried what they would do to get back at them. they’re planning revenge and kitten is agreeing that’s what they deserve and pope is screaming how that’s the worst idea ever. he’s never been happier that they settle down. he doesn’t even mind when it’s rafe’s daughter. jesse is dating kelce’s son, maria is dating sarah’s son, micheal is dating lydia, and luis is dating leo.

Nah lads, there's never been a more wild year than the chelsea 23/24 season, like I think im traumatised from it let alone the players 😭 starting off with them buying 3 goalies over the transfer season which left them starting the season with 5, so everyone could see the writing on the wall for akb. Emma loves to randomly freeze players out if they're coming up to the end of contract.

Kerr tears her ACL, then mia fishel, her replacement tears hers a few weeks later,. They learn emmas leaving because us soccer leaks it via email so they're told in the villa dressing rooms after an away match, but with cat mac knowing already because us soccer 😭

emma answers a question about player-coach relationships with an answer about player-player relationships are equally "inappropriate" in the pre match press conference for a must win game against arsenal at the bridge with a single fit centre back/natural defender - jess. Who is not pleased. And makes that known. The game is delayed because arsenal forgot their socks and had to buy chelsea ones in the merch shop 😂😂😂😭😭

the german coach talks about akb not training with the team and emmas like no shes concussed, despite the fact she was playing for germany two days before. the conti cup final involves emma finally putting akb on the bench and trying to sub her on for penalties when arsenal score the winner in the 119th minute.

akb leaving is randomly announced the day before the Barcelona semis where jess takes her anger out on the Barcelona team and gets potm, turns out later akb proposed the day she left meaning that in a 5 day stretch jess lost the fa cup semis, got engaged, had her fiancée move to another country, then got potm against Barcelona.

Millie comes back from injury, jess is benched and then they realise they were screwed with out her and she's dragged back in and then they almost lose the league by losing to Liverpool away on 3 corner goals in 10 minutes or so and emma gives the weirdest interview where shes like oh we've lost the league while holding Aggie beaver jones hostage 😭

they win the league cos city lose to arsenal in the 90th minute, and jess seems to literally fly from the post match party to the gotham game. jess is players player of the year and there is visible tension between her and emma and even now subsections of chelsea haaaaaaate jess for leaving and also not worshipping emma.

That's not even everything!!! Like I cannot overstate how insane a season it was.

Don’t worry, not exactly a Chelsea fan but a football fan so… my prediction is that they’re signing Naomi Girma as a replacement for Jess! You said you watched the USA game last night so i’m sure you saw her amazing performance, she’s a top CB but underrated because she plays in the NWSL.

Now my reasons for this are, she has been at Stamford Bridge multiple times, her best friend is Cat Macario who will defo be trying to get her there, her coach is Hayes on the national team and she will also probably be convincing her but most importantly when the USWNT won the Gold Cup they made a post for Macario with 2 photos, one of her and Girma and one of her and Yohannes, both 2 players who have links to Chelsea. Carly Telford who works for Chelsea commented and tagged Girma telling her she suits the blue and Macario liked this comment and another person commented something like ‘Basically we’re signing these 2, admin i hear you’ and CT liked that comment. It’s all little things but trust me there’s other things too and this is what is at the top of my head right now, there’s just always been something unspoken between Girma and Chelsea! AND I JUST YAPPED SO MUCH SORRY

4town at a gym?

Y’all always ask me questions about things what I dunno SHIT about😔

I don’t think T. goes to the gym, he just doesn’t enjoy it for some reason. He finds jumping into pools a better activity. If someone asks him to go with them, sure, he just needs company if gym. And just again the one that I made a post about, he’s spotting for Z. while acting like an aggressive coach😭 they used to do that, but they had to stop because Z. always laughed so hard that he couldn’t work out at all☠️

It’s not in his schedule, but Z. hits the gym at least 3 times a week. At least. It’s more of a boredom activity, if he wants to clear his head then he just hops on his motorcycle and he’s off for a few hours. But the only reason he goes to the gym is that he likes it. The physical work, I mean. He doesn’t even have to work out for losing weight or getting muscles because it’s not even needed anymore, he’s perfect the way he is. Oh he also got a lot of friends who are girls, because guys were scared to come up to him for help, but for some reason he looked the nicest for the girls there. And they weren’t even attracted to him, he just seemed safe for some reason. So yeah he got friends!!

It’s in Robaire’s schedule, def. Like, he needs to keep that picture up, plus I hc him going to the gym since the age they let him in. He just loves it. Friends or not friends bought along, it’s all perf for him. But if there’s a gym what he always goes to, he’s friends with everyone there. From worker to a little boy trying to build muscles, he can chat with anyone. And everybody loves him! Plus he’s SO helpful, Robaire is every cleaning lady’s favorite. He doesn’t use much machines, max the treadmill but not more. He says he looks too zesty on them😭

Jesse only goes with the other members. He just doesn’t like it alone, working out is not that interesting for him. Working out together is.. okay, he likes the boys’ company. Though it usually ends with him sitting on one of the benches, water bottle in hand while he’s talking with the member currently working out. Plus if he’s talking to someone, there’s less of a chance of somebody coming up to him. I’m not exactly talking fans, more like girls tryna get his number. He doesn’t need that right now. If he needs to build his body for something coming up then he has his home gym, but the whole pottery thing is what built his arms to looks like that. So not necessary.

Tae is same to Jesse, only likes it when there’s somebody there with him, except he HATES going to the gym alone. Absolutely can’t stand it. He doesn’t even like working out that much, to be honest.

OH MAN. thank you so much 😭 i sort of talked about him here kinda recentish! as for other stuff… i will say that i feel like i’ve seen a lot of takes recently about adam’s relationship with his dad that i don’t really vibe with. 🤔 implying that he doesn’t care about adam’s wants/needs, or that adam’s scared of his dad, which i don’t think is the case at all…

like, if you think about it. to adam and his dad, bombay is the villain of d1. the movie framed adam’s switch to the ducks as something positive for bombay, the ducks, and, eventually, adam. and–while this may be true–reverse the situation and you end up with a father who is told that his kid can no longer play on the team that he wants to play on. the team where he has his friends, the team his big brother (who adam most likely admires) used to play for. like!!! IMAGINE. some jackass coach from the worst team in the league coming up to gleefully tell you that your son–who is not only incredibly talented but loves the game–can’t play for the rest of the season or his team will have to forfeit. i would’ve socked bombay right there in the face lmao. THE AUDACITY!!! 

so, phillip banks tries to do what any involved father would do: find a way around it. possibily throw a bunch of money at it, because he’s in a position that he can. again, bombay refuses. not because he wants to give adam a place where he’d be treated better. no. he doesn’t know that kid. bombay says no because he’s a petty bitch, knows that adam is a great player, and does not want to give reilly the advantage. then he leaves the office quacking like an asshole. if i had been phillip banks, i would’ve been questioning that man’s sanity.

ANYWAY. we know phillip’s opinion: according to him, adam would rather not play than play for the ducks. except! adam shows up in the locker room anyway, which means that his choice was different: he just wants to play hockey, no matter where it is. and, rather than telling him no (especially after witnessing how much of a quack his new coach is), phillip agreed. 

this shows us two things: 1) phillip cares enough about adam that he’s willing to let him go to a team that he (phillip) may not like, as long as it means his son gets what he wants (aka to play hockey). and 2) adam does not cower around phillip. he was able to tell him that he wanted to play and “win” whatever argument there might’ve been. it was adam’s choice. i think this is a very important distinction to make.

“but tumblr user gaffney,” i hear someone cry in the distance, “what about that time adam’s dad wore a hawks jacket to the finals?” WELL, random shout in the void, it’s like i said: to adam and his dad, bombay’s the villain. we don’t see phillip ever interact with bombay again prior to adam’s injury. now add the fact that adam wasn’t exactly welcomed to the team and most likely returned home from practice every week with another story of how jesse hall glared at him from across the rink (with good reason but that’s another story). it’s very likely that adam himself thought he’d be going back to the hawks after this season. he was still embarrassed/uncomfortable/trying to hide his face when he saw mcgill & larson, and this was after they’d made the playoffs. basically, phillip had no damn reason to support the ducks, even if his son was on the team. and even despite that, he cheered adam on. he left his seat immediately once adam was injured. they held hands when adam was rolled off the ice. 

then there’s d2. in flashbacks, we see bombay’s dad, who appeared to be a really good guy before his death. bombay then draws parallels between his dad and adam’s dad, which is something he probably would not do if he (still) hated adam’s dad or (still) thought he was an awful human being. to quote bombay, “(bombay’s dad) didn’t need me to score a hundred goals for him. he was proud of me because i was his son, and i did my best. i’m sure that’s how your dad feels. i know it is.”

i love this so much - gratitude to all the skaters and all the people who help them make these performances happen ❤️ watching teams grow and getting to learn more about skating through them is just 😭

Canada having 13 teams for Next Gen - that's a healthy ice dance program

there were quite a few slow lyrical programs today - they feel like FD 101 - like teams must need to do them to learn that style. also it's kind of forgiving, because there aren't as many strict beats and accents to hit precisely. but programs that gave teams music with a story or more character to play often paid off -

Rachel Martins/Juel Kowalcyk (from Mariposa with Mitch Islam) tangoed to Oblivion, and they were musical, smooth, intense, taking care of details. idk how long they've been together, there were little connections that seemed off, but looking forward to seeing more of them

the brand new team of Summer Homick/Nicholas Buelow are promising - she just switched over from pairs in the last few months, and they're already looking pretty comfortable. he's a good partner

Auréa Cinçon-Debout/Earl Jesse Celestino - The Artist - i want to rave about this program lol they're a good young team, and this program is such a little jewel of a showcase for them

Chloe Nguyen/Brendan Giang - she has lovely soft arms, and they both have good carriage. curious about their dance (like ballet) backgrounds because they both move really well

Sophia Gover/Billy Wilson-French from Carol Lane's school - a Burlesque program should be more fun? they didn't look like they were on the same page for parts of this. like he was more comfortable with the style and maybe she wasn't? i know they were disappointed in their score, but oof the vibe in the kiss and cry was not good. Marc-André Servant was the coach with them. they all looked unhappy in different ways. but the coach is responsible for shoring up their team regardless? don't sit there stone faced and looking as upset as your students

Layla and Alex - i've been talking about them all day haha so happy to watch them grow up - they look stronger. all their hard work is paying off. i never noticed how much this Nino Rota score sounds like Gershwin. it's just delicious music that's rich enough that they can keep finding new ways to express through it

I do think the defenders going to the NWSL are going to be able to really add to their game. Someone like Jess who's already proven herself effective against many big European teams, and has spent easily 10 years playing in the WSL is going to be able to really stretch herself in the NWSL. I hope Morgan can as well - though, I feel she was a less solid player before moving, so still has a lot of developing to do. But Washington are a great team, and I think that injury crises are always awful (all injuries are) but it does force players to step up in ways they may not have before. So that will be interesting.

On injury crises though, I just know the Gotham support and coaching staff are looking at their backline and goalkeeper stressed out of their minds because that is a thing depth chart right now.

yeah, the NWSL brings a whole different dynamic to the table, and I think that experience could really help european players grow, especially when it comes to physicality and athleticism. on the other hand, i also think a lot of american players could really benefit from playing in european leagues. that’s why i’m sooooo curious to see how girma develops, girl is gonna be the beat defender on the planet after playing consistently uwcl with chelsea.

about the injury crisis, lol it's funny i'm answering this right after reading that carter's out for today's game haha i'm crying, we might be cooked 😭

Honestly I've nothing but respect for a bit of time wasting. It has to be done, but i would like to say that she is so good at it i do still get mini heart attacks every game when I think shes actually badly injured 😭 even the old test of "is jess checking on her" no longer really works because the answer is always yes she is.

She always gives me a heart attack too, but Jess usually goes over to the coach, after checking on AKB, so I know it's nothing serious. If she stays with her, I'll start to worry.

On other thoughts, I've been really enjoying watching as Jess has really begun to find her feet in the NWSL - her game against Chawinga was great, same with Kundananji and I've seen her a lot on Gotham's options for POTM over the past games. As someone who has seen it in person - is that what looks to be happening to you? I'm always a fan of just how much work she puts in in every game, she might get beaten (as all defenders do) but it's never out of lack of effort and she always seems to fix mistakes the next time around.

i haven't been able to catch as many games in person lately but she's been starting as rightback very consistently and our defense overall has been soooo solid. i can't wait to face orl pride again tbh bc i feel like we'll know how to deal with them better after last time but after the loss to the thorns i'm worried they'll come back with a vengeance😭

she's def been a great addition tho and you can tell the whole backline is getting more in tune with each other the more they play together (a certain new barça coach should take notes...!). and great to see she got the england callup 👍👍
