ramble: ravinstill-dovecote friendships

You know what would be really funny? Because Clemmie and Felix are good friends in this AU and as were President Ravinstill and Hector Dovecote, Pres. Ravinstill probably draws comparisons between the two friendships.

Especially if this takes place after he got his signet ring back from Clemmie.

Dr. Gaul is probably going through it tbh

Pres. Ravinstill keeps telling her all about it and she really doesn't want to hear about Hector. AGAIN.

You'd think the man being dead 30+ years would have changed things. Nope.

Also Pres. Ravinstill is probably on the verge of a heart attack every time THE troublesome trio is in the districts (intentionally or not)

Did you really think our trio (Felix/Iphigenia/Clemensia) only ended up in the districts once? Nah.

Pres. Ravinstill has lost too many of his family & friends to the districts.

Felix, to his friends: Too bad we can't visit *insert district number* like we used to. Pres. Ravinstill, overhearing them: *having flashbacks to every single person he's lost due to the districts*

Clemensia: Yeah, I'd want to see Reaper again! Pres. Ravinstill, still in the shadows, listening: *remembering what happened the last time Hector Dovecote went to the districts*

Felix is like sort of his favourite grand-nephew (technically, he loves all his brother's descendants equally lol) and like how is he supposed to face Hector in the afterlife, if Hector's granddaughter is like, dead?
