duckduckgo is nice (i like the ui options) but the fact that image search is... like that... and there's no way to change image preview sizes so they're, you know, not just the thumbnail, is really frustrating...

So uh, how are you planning to enforce the "no AI" rule? What do you plan to do if a participant is accused of using unacceptable software?
There's no submissions and no enforcement.
If someone is posting the in #Novella November & #NovellaNovember tags:
clearly-AI generated content (such as AI-generated book covers)
bragging about using AI
Talking about how they used x AI program to make X part of the book
etc
Then I can guarantee you they're going to simply be blocked by a few thousand writers en masse.
Probably they will get at least a few people trying to talk to them about the harm that AI does, and better alternatives that don't mass-steal from a few million unconsenting people--
alternatives like:
finding someone to partner with to discuss your ideas for brainstorming instead of asking an AI chatbot
.
Joining a "secret gift" group where everyone digitally "pulls a name out of a hat" or is randomly selected to make a cover for someone else's book idea
.
commissioning an actual artist for a cover
.
youtube tutorials on how to use GIMP as a free Photoshop alternative to make your own cover, with links to sites such as Pexels that have free stockphotos for anyone to use
.
Choosing a lower, more manageable daily word count goal if 1k or 500 is too out of line with your work schedule/ability to write on your own instead of resorting to AI generation to try to make up the difference out of anxiety
.
finding alternative medias to 'write' with, such as using an app on your phone or the in-built accessibility features on Windows that let you use your voice to type, so if you can't physically type or write with your hands or other limbs, you can instead dictate your novel outloud, which would also work if you are often away from home or can't actively use your phone but *can* record your voice passively as you work with your hands on another task :)
so...... yeah.
Literally the only things that would happen if someone tries to use AI in the #Novella November and #NovellaNovember tags would be the writing community collectively:
attempting some outreach; education is key to realizing the harm being done, after all! Maybe the person just doesn't know any better, and felt like that was their only option to reach their goal.
blocking the person, and if they're actively malicious in their AI use (such as fully knowing how much it harms writers/artists, how much of it is based on plagarism, or actively going out of their way to steal other people's work) people will probably start warning others about them as well so they can be blocked in advance, the same as other people who are harmful to communities.
This is a community initiative, spearheaded by this blog purely because I came up with the idea first and want to make sure that, at least to start out and as long as I can manage it, the community is the key part of being supporting and caring of each other, because billion dollar tech companies and those who are swayed by their money sure as heck aren't going to stand with us.
If someone is ""accused of using unacceptable software"" ..... they're just gonna get blocked if they're posting AI generated content, like everyone else who posts AI generated content get blocked by the community at large as they're encountered.
I'll repeat again: this is a community initiative, not an organization. There's no submissions people are sending anywhere to "confirm" word counts; --
Only:
people posting their celebrations and woes in the tag,
posting their frustrations and questions,
receiving answers and advice from the community,
sharing art and snippets, making covers, making decorative goal cards,
No AI is allowed in Novella November -- if people are posting or bragging about using AI generated content, they're simply going to be announcing themselves to thousands of writers (plus everyone who follows those writers) that they're a good person to block and never interact with 🤷

Intersex-disability combination survey results Part 3: flags for whether one's disability is linked to being intersex
Part 1: four flags and coining of interdebilitated
Part 2: inter-iatrogene and interimpaired (two flags & coinings)
The following three flags represent three different positions that disabled intersex people may hold about what connection (if any) there is between being intersex and disabled.
Tumblr media
Intersex-linked disability: an intersex person who has one or more disabilities that are linked in any way to being intersex. This is an umbrella category which includes:
Having a disability that is commonly correlated to your intersex variation (e.g. Deafness and MRKH)
Having an iatrogenic disability (e.g. chronic pain caused by IGM) - i.e. being an inter-iatrogene
Debility due to intersexism (e.g. PTSD from intersexism) - i.e. interdebility
Seeing your personal intersex variation as personally being a disability (e.g. "I find my salt-wasting CAH a disability but I am not trying to claim everybody with this variation does.") - i.e. interimpaired
I wanna explicitly note that like every other intersex-disability combination, this is inclusive of ALL models of disability. While the medical model is a very common way in our society of understanding disability, identifying as disabled (or "with a disability") does not mean that one subscribes to the medical model. 💙
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right: Intersex with unrelated disability. The complement of intersex-linked disability (on the left). Note it's not mutually exclusive: for example, somebody with intersexism-associated PTSD may also wind up with long covid and see that as unrelated to being intersex.
Left: It's complicated! Not everybody has an easy time identifying/articulating what relationship their disability identity has to their intersex disability. Sometimes things are just unclear. 💙
Survey results
Intersex-linked disability
The inset flag was the highest rated candidate flag for this use case, with a weighted average rating of 4.4 out of 5. (People who self-identified with a given use case effectively got to "vote" twice for anything concerning that use case, for reasons I explained in Part 2.)
I had some hesitation in assigning this flag to this use case though. 🤔 The problem with the inset flag is it was broadly popular across the ten use cases. For 8 out of 10 use cases, it had an average rating higher than 4.0. This made it kind of tricky to match to a meaning because it seems it has a real broad appeal/interpretation. 😵‍💫
As a result it felt important to me that whatever meaning I assigned it would be a broad umbrella term. It was rated slightly higher as a candidate flag for commonly-correlated disabilities (4.5) but that use case had less demand, plus it had one (different) flag that people really consistently rated as being specific to that one meaning. 🤷
Given its broad interpretation, I considered making this flag be a second flag for people who are disabled in any sort of way. 🤔 But then what flag would I pick for intersex-linked disability? The second pick option for a flag was very clearly rejected by a quick poll. And everything else scoring well for this meaning had a clearer association with a different use case. That quick poll also strongly backed up this meaning-flag association, so that confirmed it.
Unrelated disability
Out of the ten use cases in the survey, this one actually had the lowest demand for a flag. Weighted average perceived utility was 3.0 out of 5 (basically: neutral).
I decided to release a flag for this case anyway because I had data which favoured this specific meaning-flag pairing. 😎 If releasing a flag for this meaning, I wanted the flag to be a definite "opposite" to the intersex-linked disability flag.
So I added a row to my spreadsheet where I took the difference between the flag ratings for the linked-disability use case and the ratings for the unrelated-disability use case. Most flag designs had a higher rating for intersex-linked than for intersex-unrelated. The segmented ring flag and the universal symbol of access were the only two where people associated them more with unrelated disabilities than intersex-linked disabilities.
Since the universal symbol of access flag had a much higher rating for the "all possible disabilities" use case, and that use case had a lot of demand, I had allocated that flag to that meaning.
This left the segmented ring flag. It wasn't otherwise getting used, and since the data indicated it was understood as a a flag for disabilities unrelated to being intersex, I figured, why not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's complicated!
This was another case where I picked the flag-meaning association based on what flag design was most uniquely associated to the meaning. This maximalist flag had a rating of 4.0 out of 5 for this meaning, which is decent.
It was not the top-rated flag for this meaning - it was actually the third highest rated for the "it's complicated" use case. The coloured stripes on the side flag that I released as the "intersex is part of the disability community/movement" flag had a higher rating of 4.3. But that flag was more strongly associated to that meaning (4.5).
Same deal with the inset flag - it had a score of 4.2 for "it's complicated", but 4.4 for intersex-linked disability.
Importantly to me, the maximalist flag was more popular for the "it's complicated" use case (4.0) than it was for the either the intersex-linked case (3.8) or the unrelated-disability case (3.3). So this pairing felt good to me in that it seems distinct from both intersex-linked and intersex-unrelated disabilities. 👍️
The version of this flag I'm releasing is a wee bit different from the one in the survey, which was not neatly oriented. A participant wrote in the open-ended feedback they were bothered by the rotation of the survey-version flag being a little off. This version is slightly rotated so the segment at the horizontal middle of the flag is actually parallel to the midline of the flag. 📏
💜
Once again, my appreciation goes out to those who filled in the survey! And to @scifimagpie for sanity checks! Two people filled in the survey after I started the data analysis. This post includes the results of those two people, but the previous two posts did not. I have now set the google form to stop accepting responses.
Like in Part 2, I used weighted averages so that people who self-identified with a given use case had twice as many "votes" on any question directly relevant to the given use case.
This now shares all the flag-related results of the survey! In my next post I'll get to the remaining coining-related results.
Tagging for archival: @intersexflags @varsex-pride @disabilityflagsarchive @disabilityflags @liom-archive @radiomogai @mad-pride
EDIT TO ADD (2024-10-05) For anybody who wants a fuller picture of the ratings, here's a screenshot of the main spreadsheet - the ten use cases are each columns, and the different flag designs are rows. Darker green means a more positive rating, and if the text is in white it means that was the matching I made.

Favorite thing about AEW? AND Least favorite thing about AEW
So this is a hard one to answer. I think my favorite thing is that it's an option for people who want to wrestle in NA.
That being said, there is a lot that I dislike so this might come off as a hater, so apologies. I don't like the amount of choking spots because it's incredibly triggering for someone with an abuse history that includes strangulation. I really despise that TK used NJPW as a fucking farm company for them. I think the partnership with NJPW isn't really beneficial for NJPW and the fandom looks to NJPW as if it's a wrestler gachapon machine they can shake whenever they want a special appearance.
I don't like that three of their four pillars are kind of scummy. Sammy has made those shitty comments, Darby is a fucking piece of human trash, and MJF doesn't know how to get heel heat without body shaming or being sexist.
I don't like that they clearly don't take safety into consideration in terms of letting people work injured. I really don't like that they have an actual worker on their disciplinary team, from both a logic standpoint and an employment law standpoint.
I find the disrespect of the women's division to be bordering on hysterical at this point. They only bring out queer wrestlers for Pride and then stash them back on ROH and they force the roh titles on people that don't work roh.
I dunno. There isn't much to like about them these days for me. 🤷

Thinking of You - May 👩🏿‍🍳2024 - Virgo
Whole of their energy towards Virgo: Temperance
Feelings: The Moon, The Magician, Queen of Pentacles
Intentions: The Lovers
Actions: 7 Cups
For 90% this is clearly a lover, but in the preshuffle I kept getting a child. If you have a child, they wonder why you’re not with them, why you’re alone, why you don’t want to be with the other parent. They deeply wish you two would get back together, and may even be dabbling in spells or manifestations to try and make this happen. You may have a little witch on your hands 🪄 Could be a Pisces/water sign, doesn’t have to be. This is not to guilt you, it’s just what I see - take or leave that message.
For everyone else, it’s an ex…as of recently? Your messages show you need space, the reading doesn’t indicate why or what happened. It only shows how much this person wants you with them, they don’t understand “what you’re trying to do”, which I heard, or what you want. They’re patient, and cooperative, and only want you back. Clarifying Temperance, the King of Pentacles shows up at the bottom. A divine pair. So…what are you doing, Virgo? You could be the witchy one, if a child isn’t involved. You may have manifested this person into your life in the first place, and then acted like…meh 🤷 However you’ve acted, it’s made this person fearful and insecure that you’re not in this as much as they are, you’re not willing to give what they are, which is full and total commitment - The Hierophant. Marriage, the whole shebang. Could be a Taurus, that’s heavy here. So you have your person, but you’re still feeling fancy free or whatever and want to be alone, maybe play the field….I think this person is going to do the same. Begrudgingly, they blame you for it.
Intentions are you, but you’re taking forever, moving slowly in any direction, they don’t feel like there’s any progress being made and if you’re not the one afraid of taking a chance - then this experience with you has made them fearful of taking a risk on you. Actions are checking out other options, dating other people, opening the doors for their soulmate to come in…though they know you are one, with The Lovers and “feeling bound”, but they don’t know what your problem is and have no ability to change anything in this situation - 8 Swords. You may not even talk to them, or you’ve moved quite a distance away, there’s something they have no control over. But if it were up to them, you’d be with them. If it’s platonic, then they want a closer bond but feel like they can’t access you on a deeper level, because of you and whatever it is you’re doing.
Oracles:
Rite 🕯️
Ceremony - Mystery - Magic
Messages:
Their side:
- Blaming you 💯
- I feel bound to you.
Your side:
- Gorgeous 👩🏿‍🦱
- I just want to be single.
Possible signs:
Heavy earth, Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn & Taurus
If you’re dealing with:
Temperance, 6 Cups underneath…you may have taken this person back in the past, though I’m not seeing any toxic cycles or anything. You’re just independent, and it’s causing this person pain because they’re deeply committed - you could even be married for some. You don’t seem to be making clear & decisive decisions, Temperance can be an energy of coasting along, living in the moment, allowing things to work themselves out rather than taking any actions to make them work out or nah. Giving things time to calm down maybe, it can also be reconnection if you’ve fallen out with others, and it’s deep connections that are shown here. 6 Cups are the people you’ve known forever.
Aries - feels abandoned by the family, or you did
Taurus - could seem kinda narrow minded or judgy, something about the way they communicate, it’s because they hold grudges - or they’re communicating and also saying nothing, like they’re not really letting you in
Gemini - not attracted to you or not into you like that, you might not be their preferred gender in some cases - they’re not the one 💯
Cancer - could be bestie, someone you vent all of your frustrations too, it’s reciprocated 👯‍♂️
Leo - not pressed over you or this - moving on
Virgo - a good friend with good advice, could be someone you study with or learn from
Libra - extremely immature & toxic, they’re trapped in their own bs cycles, exit stage left
Scorpio - could be healing from ⬆️ that Libra, 4 Swords & Queen of Swords, or they’re taking a break from communicating, healing because they know they need to, being honest about it
Sagittarius - feels better about missing an opportunity or having some decision made for them, or that’s switched, but it’s working out for the best somehow
Capricorn - could be a boss or some authority figure that you find extremely attractive, could be your lover or you’re theirs, the vibe is “slimy boss that cheats on their wife” - and you see it or work with them
Aquarius - could be the wife of ⬆️ that douchebag, or your new person and the Cap is the ex, there’s a triangle energy here - if not, this person has seen it all, does the right thing, is very nurturing and loving, could be your/a mom, could be winning a lawsuit (or divorce)
Pisces - has deep love & affection for you and has no reason to hide it, very open with you

This response will probably definitely not be the best formatted or most "quick to the point", we suck at that. Sorry ahead of time-
First, I want to make it clear that we fully understand diagnosis isn't always safe, practical, or possible due to income, legality concerns, local resources, or just location (i.e. countries that don't even have that as an option). We are pro self informed diagnosis or "therapist acknowledged" stuff.
He wasn't making that post to say "I deserve a pat on the back because I don't go attack people!" Because yes, that's the bare minimum of being a person, to not just go out and tell random people they're faking for attention, to harm themselves, or try and pressure someone to think about their potential traumas. All of that is the same BS said to people with mental illness in general and it's really scary to me that people who are knowingly traumatized feel they can justify doing that themselves..
But on to my point of that, the reason he said "I don't go out and harass people" was to address the fact that we have had it happen to us multiple times, not always posting what's been said, mind you. The name calling, the assumptions regarding what we must believe is acceptable, etc. (and to a point we don't blame them. We've seen the same behaviors on both "sides" to the point that the generalization from either "side" is made about the other.) And because he was trying to make it clear that we're not trying to seek out discourse, and that we don't feel bullying is ever acceptable. I can't clearly word everything I'm meaning here so I hope you have the idea at least.
As for the name, I want to say screw it and change it. It's not like it's significant or meaningful in any way. It's become more of a personal "safe space" for us to express ourselves while also being able to reblog or show some informational or uplifting messages. We'd eventually like to revamp the blog all together but haven't had the time so maybe we'll have to get around to that 🤷
Lastly, id like to thank you for your perspective about how basically people can struggle to come to terms with having trauma when spaces can be so unwelcoming (either seemingly or overtly so). We understand that feeling, though not related to system stuff, but rather gender stuff. Ex host dealt with that with trans guy spaces. Because of the double whammy of not fitting in with cis guys our age, and seeing so many trans guys just continuing that toxic masculinity online + not having the same interests or diversion from gender norms, in addition to feeling out of place in Nonbinary spaces (to a lesser degree) just made the whole process take longer. I can see that we haven't put enough effort into making it clear the moment you start to scroll our blog, that we *do* understand people can lean in the direction that we are against while questioning, and that we don't hate them, don't want them to feel further alienated from the possibility of trauma, etc. Honestly, saying "supporters DNI" became a necessary (at least at the time) safety net in an attempt to just not have to deal with being attacked even more. When we made this blog, we weren't at the place we are now when it comes to handling harassment and personal attacks.
Even though we've addressed many of this in the past, people just finding our blog probably won't see that. I hate the organization system of Tumblr for so many reasons and this is one of them. Even the tagging system is flawed with more and more censorship on Tumblr.
- 🧛
Maybe we need to be a bit clearer on some things?
We're not here to be aggressive. While some alters may be more outspoken or more..blunt? Than others, none of us are going to go out of our way to attack, bully, or insult any individual people. Nor would we ever say extremely gross things about groups of people (i.e. sui baiting, calling people horrific names, etc.). Sometimes we vent, but none of us will tolerate anyone within this brain to be a bully.
I understand people get angry when someone doesn't agree with their stances. I understand people get exhausted and frustrated. I try to be understanding, but that doesn't mean I'm going to compromise my own comfort or boundaries to cater to things I just can't believe in. When people send the same questions or when people send asks out of anger, you're not going to get the answer you're wanting. You're not even guaranteed a long thought out answer. And you're not going to magically change our mind.
I do my best to stay out of y'all's spaces and I just ask for that same basic respect. Accidental interactions or just not realizing DNI breaches happen. I've done it, and I'm sure many of you have to. I literally don't care if that happens. It's part of being a person. I won't be mad! I don't go and look through every account that follows me or likes a post..I don't have the time or energy.
And I don't mean this in a rude or mean way at all, but we have a life outside of Tumblr to the point that we just don't have the time or emotional energy to dedicate to big online things, you know? We have a family, we have a lot of offline stresses to deal with and I've learned in recent years that picking battles that are in the grand scheme of things... Pretty useless is just..well..useless lol. Why would I go out of my way to message and hate on random people I'll never meet? What good would that do me? I'm not saying this in judgement of anybody, just how I personally feel about our own self.
Anyways, just trying to get it out there that I'm not this big bad enemy that needs to be put in his place. I get people feel strongly about the topic at hand, and I do too, but I don't need to attack individual people because of it, I don't need to scream it from the rooftops every day..I just don't care enough in that way.
Have a good day/night everyone

Sometimes I wonder how much of Percy’s desire to work for the ministry came from him wanting more stability then he grew up with.
Idk I always pegged him as a teacher 🤷
I definitely agree with this. I personally think Percy liked the idea of the Ministry more than the reality:
He wanted a stable job where he could make a decent amount of money, because he wanted to be able to support a family better than his father did (which is entirely understandable). He also wanted a job in a place where his hard work would paid off and he would get the respect that he’s always craved. We know that things are more complicated than that within the Ministry, but Percy didn’t; for him, the Ministry seemed like a reasonable choice. I’m also willing to bet that his mom played a part in pushing him in that direction because she saw it as an “acceptable” career. Plus, you also have to take into account that there are only so many jobs in the Wizarding World, and the Ministry is by far the biggest employer, so it seemed like a safe bet.
However, even though Percy could/would excel at a job in the Ministry, I don’t think it would ever really make him happy.
Ironically enough, we see that his interests don’t necessarily align to his career goals. When he was talking to Harry about which classes to choose in his 3rd year, he said:
“It’s never too early to think about the future, so I’d recommend Divination. People say Muggle Studies is a soft option, but I personally think wizards should have a thorough understanding of the non-magical community, particularly if they’re thinking of working in close contact with them — look at my father, he has to deal with Muggle business all the time. My brother Charlie was always more of an outdoor type, so he went for Care of Magical Creatures. Play to your strengths, Harry.”
Divination? Yeah, he’s not using that at his Ministry job. It’s also a very interesting choice for Percy, but I won’t go into that right now. I also tend to think that Percy has a strong interest in Transfiguration as well, because he chose to use Human Transfiguration during his duel in the Battle of Hogwarts, and I don’t think many people would have even considered that as an option if it wasn’t something they thought about often.
It would have been super interesting for Percy to become the Divination professor or the Transfiguration professor (when McGonagall took over as Headmistress) at Hogwarts. However, I also think Percy knew that he couldn’t go into teaching right away (even Tom Riddle Jr. - known as the most brilliant student to ever attend Hogwarts - was rejected for a teaching position right after graduation because he was considered too young), and that would have been a major deterrent for him.
Regardless, I think the Ministry would slowly suck the life out of him, because it’s not what he hoped for - you don’t just succeed because you work hard and try to do the right thing. There’s a lot of politics involved, including making connections (often with unfavorable people) and sometimes overlooking “minor” infractions, and even though Percy could (and clearly did) adapt to that, I don’t think he would want to. And no, I don’t believe for one second that the “reformed” Ministry after the war was suddenly devoid of all this. 🙄 Percy wants things to be fair, and in the government, they’re just not. It’s one of those situations where people like Percy would ideally make the government better, but in reality, they often get screwed in the process.
I personally think he would be happier in a job where he could be organized, do research, share his findings, make changes to better his field (we see that theme several times throughout his story), and not have to deal with all the games that people play to get ahead. That’s why I think he would be a great Healer, but I do think he would be a great professor as well.
Thanks for the ask! 😊

I don’t even want staff to go back on their promise to KS backers because that sets a horrible precedent and appears to have questionable legality, but it’s kinda driving me crazy to watch people respond to “You have the option to breed for color and use breed change scrolls in all projects but imp projects” with “Yeah but some people don’t use scrolls for their projects at all! You don’t NEED scrolls, it just takes longer!” The conversation is clearly about having the choice on the table 🤷

I’m currently playing Little Hope and I’m missing every single QTE, saying nothing when I have the chance, and not making a decision when I have to in order to save characters. I also decided for this play through, I’m going to try my best not to look at or pick up anything either, since I know grabbing the gun is a huge part in this game and I wanted to see what would happen if I didn’t. Some things I will have to pick up, obviously, but the ones that are optional I will not be touching. I’m gonna use this to document my favorite moments :) (thank you to the lovely @kolchekyourweapons for the idea) this one seems to be a lot more boring than the House of Ashes play through, but I did notice a few things that I thought were interesting.
This is going to be a very long post so bare with me, if you’ve got a lot of time on your hands feel free to continue. Feel free to save this for later if you want, or don’t, it’s your choice 🤷
This will also include big spoilers for the game, so if you want to play it, or want to try this out for yourself, feel free to not read this.
Let’s get into it!
The prologue plays out relatively the same, except for the fact that Anthony doesn’t really say anything the whole time. Whenever I’m playing I always try my best to defend Megan but obviously I couldn’t this time, which made me feel bad 😭
Tanya: Where’s the little princess anyway?
Anthony: *says nothing*
Tanya: Question a little too tough for you?
If you don’t make a decision to save either Megan or Tanya, it chooses Tanya for you. If you say nothing when trying to help her she decides to go for the window and obviously burns to death inside.
I found this part really funny, when Taylor and John are trying to lift Andrew up, you have to complete a QTE (which obviously I can’t do) so she drops him and John goes “Come on, you can do it!” And the QTE pops up again. Taylor ends up dropping him again so John just picks him up because clearly Taylor can’t do it 😭
If Taylor continues to say nothing during the argument with John, he walks off and still says, “wait here all night then” as if she even said anything LMAO. After they eventually get the gate open, Taylor starts saying “I already said I wanted to stay at the bus” even though she didn’t say anything before. These little moments are always hilarious to me.
I love how every time you miss a QTE they just fall on their asses. At one point, Andrew trips over a tree branch while running away and he just face plants 😭
Every time Andrew misses throwing the rock at the window John makes some snarky comment and makes fun of him. The entire conversation is actually hilarious when you see it for yourself. John does end up hurting his shoulder here though, since Andrew can’t hit the window he does it for him. I thought this was an interesting detail, since it’s pretty much impossible to miss the window most people wouldn’t even know that happens!
It’s interesting to see how the relationships play out here, especially the relationship between Daniel and Taylor. Whenever Daniel doesn’t say anything when Taylor asks for advice, she gets real pissed off at him, and their status is already pretty low compared to how it high it should be.
The rest of the game after this mostly goes on as normal.
Now here’s where things start to get interesting
Amy gets executed as normal, and Angela gets attacked by her demon. When Andrew is given the choice to save John or Angela, neither of them are chosen and Andrew just stands there as Angela is pulled away by her demon. The demon overpowers her and drowns her as John and Andrew watch in horror. Honestly I wasn’t expecting someone to die this damn early, but here we are. RIP Angela.
I found it interesting when you’re given the option and you don’t choose anything, Andrew just stands there and doesn’t save either character. Obviously he goes for John once Angela has already been overpowered, but it was interesting to see that scene play out without doing anything.
Taylor: You two were pretty tight. (Talking about Angela)
Daniel: *says nothing*
Taylor: I hear you.
One thing I want to point out is that the Curator genuinely gets mad at you when you don’t look at stuff. I usually enjoy looking around at everything and making sure I don’t miss anything important, but while playing this I’m literally not looking at anything I don’t have to. When the Curator meets up with you, he points out that you’ve missed something important and that you should pay more attention to your surroundings. I really like that detail! After you refuse the hints, he also gets mad saying that you should listen to him, and that you’re being foolish, because you clearly don’t know what you’re doing 😭
When given the option to run or hide when you’re being pursued by Taylor’s demon, it automatically makes you run when you don’t make a decision in time. Obviously Daniel and Taylor trip over everything while running, because I can’t do any of the QTEs properly. Afterwards, Taylor is given the option to help Daniel, or leave him behind. I’ve never gotten this option before, so I didn’t even know this existed. When I didn’t make a decision in time Taylor was forced to leave him behind, which makes their relationship go down. The only bad thing that happens is Taylor and Daniel’s relationship goes down quite a lot due to her leaving him behind.
When Daniel is given the choice to confront his demon or escape, it automatically chooses for him to confront it. Which pretty much does nothing for them because Daniel immediately messes up the QTE, and John throws a rock at it.
When Taylor has to either go Right or Left, she ends up not moving and getting attacked by her demon. It grabs onto her neck and burns her alive. Damn, RIP Taylor. I’ve never seen that death before, it was actually pretty brutal.
Now it’s just John, Daniel, and Andrew left.
After this the game mostly goes on as normal, having Abraham speaking out against Mary.
Daniel falls into the factory floor and gets attacked by his demon, this is usually a badass scene for him, but since I can’t complete any of the QTEs I think we all know what’s about to happen here. The demon stabs him through the chest and then through his eye. This one actually made me look away, people being stabbed through the eye is always gross to me
2 more left.
Now Mary is being accused, and Abraham asks for Andrew’s help. Since I can’t say anything here, I was curious to how this would go down. If Andrew says nothing, Mary is condemned, since Abraham also does nothing to stop them.
Obviously if you’ve played the game, you know what’s about to happen to our old pal John.
Andrew gets locked out of the house and John gets his neck snapped by his demon. So sorry John, you almost made it out </3
I’ve never gotten this ending before, but the game ends with Vince confronting him, saying he’ll never forgive him for what he did. Andrew/Anthony then gets arrested.
Wow, that was… something else. A majority of the game played out the same way, and it definitely wasn’t as interesting as the House of Ashes gameplay, but I still enjoyed it!

Note
It's awkward that even the character who used to be optional in OG has more FS skins than the temporary Disc 1 character lmao. And it isn't as if there wasn't plenty of opportunities to add skins for that char if SE wanted to but they clearly know who brings in the $$$.
True, Yuffie has three skins already, while Aerith only has two.
They could have done Aerith's pink wall market dress, but I doubt anyone would buy it cause they'd prefer the red one which isn't practical for combat. Same goes for her middle pink dress. Fact is, people just don't wanna buy Aerith's stuff. Tifa has so much more to offer and a bigger fanbase 🤷

And to @/scifimagpie for sanity checks!
