How my senior year is looking so far:

Work either 4-9 or 11-5 after school/on the weekends

Drama rehearsals (we're performing clue this fall !!!) Monday through Thursday from 3 to 6

Bowling team when October rolls around

And a thing called skills for one of my classes, which requires a LOT of physical training

Mind you, ITS ONLY BEEN 3 WEEKS

Sometimes when i can't focus at work and it's close to the end of my hours, i listen to slutty audios at a really low volume. somehow this helps me focus (and also gets me hard and restless)

and i’ve been thinking, oh maybe it was a “you gonna be okay?” type thing, but i swear he said “you okay? you gonna be good?” and like 🧍‍♀️either way that mf gave me my own asmr session 8/10 would recommend.

something i love to find when i start learning another language is when the phonetics that initially seemed so different and hard to wrap my head around start to pop up in my own conversations with people in english, and its always a game changer for my understanding of the language. i just started korean and i was feeling sooo intimidated by the vowels and consonants but now its like.. i realized that i always say my sisters name which starts with an s with a ‘ss/ㅆ’ not ‘s/ㅅ’, and that the way my friends and i like to jokingly pronounce the word ‘wait’ basically uses the ㅢ sound, i can hear the way singers toy around with vowels when theyre singing them when i would usually just hear them all blended together as one. i remember when i was learning japanese and intimidated by the r/l sound and a youtuber pointed out that as an american you probably already pronounce ‘water’ with it and just dont know it and it changed my whole perspective. i just love when i get to a point of knowing just enough to realize how similar languages actually are when you get through the initial shock of it seeming so different. its just like... wow we really are just one species making silly noises and then naming the noises huh. which like i always know and love that in theory as a linguistics student but getting to feel it in practice by learning a language is just like almost spiritual i love it sm
