Considering this and Laios, eh, tank-like tendencies (using his shoulder to down a bicorn, for example), his ending in the Kensuke extra is actually a happy thing. He ends up renouncing dungeon exploring altogether out of self-preservation and a healthy wariness of death - something only Senshi had at the start, btw
