DOCTOR Interview Questions for freshers experienced :-
1) Explain who is Doctor? A physician is someone who practices medicine to treat illnesses and injuries. Physicians go to medical school to be trained. They typically hold a college degree in medicine. Physicians once made house calls to treat patients at home, but now mostly see patients in their offices or in hospitals. Physicians may also work for schools, companies, sports teams, or the military. Physicians are often assisted by nurses or other staff. 2) How doctor treat patients? Physicians treat patients by diagnosing them, or figuring out what is wrong. When Physicians diagnose a patient, they begin by asking questions about the patient's symptoms such as fever, headache, or stomach ache. They may ask other questions about things like past illnesses or family members who have been sick. They will then examine the patient, often looking at different parts of the body and listening to the heart and lungs with a stethoscope. Sometimes they may need to collect blood, use an x-ray machine, or use other tools to look for things they cannot see when examining the patient. Usually, when they have gathered enough information, a doctor can make a diagnosis and then prescribe a treatment. Often they prescribe . 3) Who is a specialists doctor? Some doctors specialise in a certain kind of medicine. These physicians are called specialists. They may only treat injuries to a certain part of the body, or only treat patients who have certain diseases. For example, there are physicians who specialise in diseases of the stomach or intestines. Other physicians are "general practitioners" or "family practitioners". This means that they do a little bit of everything. They try to deal with as much of a patient's health problems as they can without sending them to a specialist. A doctor who performs surgery is called a surgeon. 4) How communication skills help patient? Once a patient begins developing trust in a doctor, the chances of him/her recovering increases as his/her confidence in the doctor goes up and s/he begins to believe that s/he can recover. 5) Why doctors should learn communication skills? Communication skills play a major role in developing patient-doctor relationship. And miscommunication could lead to clashes with relatives/friends of patients over care given to the latter. 6) What is Venous thrombosis? There are numerous extra-gastrointestinal manifestations of inflammatory bowel disease that occur in both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, such as uveitis, conjunctivitis, arthritis, pyoderma gangrenosum and erythema nodosum. Some occur primarily in Crohn's, such as gallstones and renal stones due to the area of bowel affected, while patients with ulcerative colitis are more likely to develop primary sclerosing cholangitis and venous thromboses. 7) What is Azathioprine? Azathioprine takes a number of months to exert its anti-inflammatory effect and therefore has a limited role in the acute management of Crohn's disease, though it can be started at the time of an acute flare of Crohn's. 8) What is Bendroflumethiazide? Treatment of hypercalcaemia can include fluid rehydration, loop diuretics, bisphosphonates, steroids, salmon calcitonin and chemotherapy. In clinical practice intravenous fluids are the first-line agent used to treat hypercalcaemia, both rehydrating the patient and helping to lower the calcium levels. This is combined with the co-administration of bisphosphonates such as pamidronate, which exert their maximal effect 5-7 days after administration. 9) What is Ceftriaxone? A cephalosporin such as ceftriaxone is first-line treatment in patients with streptococcal meningitis. Benzylpenicillin would be more appropriate if Neisseria meningitidis was suspected. 10) What is Anti-Histone antibody? In induced SLE anti-histone antibody is present in 90% of patients, although this is not specific for the condition. Anti-nuclear antibody is positive in 50% of patients as opposed to 95% of patients with idiopathic SLE.

Atrovent is the trade name for ipratropium bromide, which is more useful in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease than in asthma, although it can be used in an acute asthma attack. 36) Patient feeling randomly sick with headaches. What could it be? Persistent headaches are not something that can be ignored, as this could be your body trying to send you a signal that there is something wrong. Often, the history and description of the headache can be quite helpful as you attempt to determine what is the cause of your headaches so that you can know how to get better. If your headaches are associated with certain movements, activities, foods, or other triggers, than this can serve as a clue to you and your doctor to help you feel better. If, on the other hand, your symptoms are somewhat predictable and come on in the same way, then it is also possible to use this information to diagnose the type of headache, which then gets you closer to getting some help with your pain and other symptoms. Migraines are classically associated with light sensitivity, nausea and vomiting, and intractable and incapacitating pain. People with migraines may have a family history of them, and they may have an aura, or symptoms that routinely come before the headache and let them know it is coming. 37) Why should be pain in neck? There are times that infections can happen in the neck, and these infections can be very serious because of the number of important structures that run through the neck. Some of these include nerves that are relevant to moving some of the muscles of your upper extremities, and others are the very important arteries and veins that run through your neck to and from your head. Often, if people have an infection, they will also have symptoms of an infection, such as a high fever, swelling, redness, etc. These can be more common in those with a history of injecting, as this allows serious and dangerous bacteria direct access to the rest of the body through the arteries and veins. If it has been a while since your last injection, then it may make an infection less likely. Swelling and pain can also happen from muscle spasms that come with poor posture or increased exertion out of the norm. There are also some other possible explanations. 38) Why do in some cases patients feel chest, neck and hands flush? Certainly the thought of carcinoid syndrome is something that crosses the mind in hearing about your symptoms. That is, however, a rather rare process that would be unusual for most people to have. In such a situation, it is good to describe your symptoms and your concerns to your doctor so that he or she can test for the possibility of something as serious or as rare as that condition. There are many other possible explanations, however, many of which are much more common. It is not unusual for some people to have changes of flushing and some of the other feelings that you describe when they are in stressful or unusual situations. Some of this can sometimes be understood in context of the response that some people have to loud noises or fright, ie, they can faint. This reaction is one extreme on the spectrum of a vagal reaction that can occur in some. On a less extreme note, other can have some of the same symptoms you describe without having something as notable as a syncopal episode. There are often things that can be done to help. 39) Suppose if a patient have abnormal blood on his underwear how you deal? Abnormal bleeding can have many different causes, but you have provided some valuable information. First, we have to clarify where exactly the bleeding is coming from. While vaginal bleeding is perhaps the most likely, both the urinary tract and the GI tract can also be a source of bleeding. Either of those would have different causes and explanations, with infections and small sources of bleeding such as hemorrhoids being among the most common reasons for abnormal or untimely bleeding. With regards to vaginal bleeding, there is a clue that is suggested by the fact that the blood is bright red in color. In general, this can reflect fresher blood that has not started to be broken down. It may also suggest blood that is coming from a source further down the vaginal tract, although that is not necessarily true. There are different conditions that can affect the vaginal or uterine lining and are common explanations for symptoms such as you describe. There are also tumors that can result in abnormal bleeding, and these tumors can be both benign and malignant. 40) Suppose if patient have unbearable neck to shoulder pain only while on his period. What could it be? This is a somewhat interesting phenomenon that will take more visits to your doctor to help explain. Your OB/GYN is likely a good place to start, as he or she will be best positioned to help sort out the hormonal element to your symptoms. Another option might be a neurologist or spine surgeon, either of which may be able to help with your symptoms at the level of your neck. An ear nose and throat surgeon may offer some other insight that could be helpful. Whichever you choose, the approach to your problem will likely be different. Primary care and medical doctors are more likely to use lab work and your symptoms to help arrive at an answer, and may use medications empirically to see what helps to make you better. A surgeon, on the other hand, is more likely to listen to your symptoms, complete an exam, and recommend imaging and other anatomic studies that can help to determine what is causing your symptoms. The pain may have a component of something that changes on a monthly basis with your menstrual cycle. This could be a swelling, or even something as simple as a change in the blood flow. 41) Suppose if patient having chronic neck pain for 4 days. Medication and RMT massage have done nothing, pain is 10/10 now. What could it be? It is not normal for pain to become so severe and fail to respond in any way to conservative therapy, and so your doctor should discuss this with you in more detail to make sure that there is nothing serious that is causing your symptoms. Neck and muscle spasms can be common in some people with a history of c spine injury or trauma, and can be severe and debilitating. They should not be a new onset symptom for most people, however, unless you have had some precipitating event. Massage and things to help the muscles relax is often a great idea to help with some of the mild aches and pains that we can have from time to time, and the fact that you had no improvement is worrisome. Your doctor may entertain other possible explanations for this pain in addition to trauma and misuse injuries. He or she may decide it is important to get some imaging and complete a physical exam looking for things that might be amiss. Shooting pain can be a concern for nerve injury. 42) Suppose if I am patient of acid reflux, how can I get rid off? Fortunately, there are things that can be done to help with reflux. The most obvious answer is some of the many medications that are available to help reduce stomach acid. Some of the least expensive and most effective are even available over the counter, but should be used after discussing your symptoms with your doctor. There are some medications, such as ranitidine and other anti histamine medications (H2 blockers as they are sometimes called), that can be very effective for many people and have a very mild side effect profile. They are most effective when taken as directed, and the efficacy does tend to decrease if they are not timed appropriately with regards to the meals. Other excellent medications are those that are known as proton pump inhibitors, or PPIs, which can be even more effective. The over the counter doses are effective for most people, but in severe cases prescription strength doses can also be used. These medications also have relatively mild side effects, but should be discussed with your doctor. In addition to these medications, lifestyle changes should be tried before any medications. After Le Grice: on inciting a new culture and infiltrating institutions A conversation with Malcolm Le Grice, A Coruña, June 6 2019.
Prelude
In May 2016 I was in London, at the BFI, to attend a special evening of performances by Malcolm Le Grice. An event so rare that I asked myself whether that would be my first and last chance to see Le Grice performing his iconic Horror Film 1 (1971). The evening programme also comprised Threshold (1972) and After Leonardo (1973), of which you can watch below eighteen fragments:
Three years later, the curators of (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico proved me wrong by inviting Le Grice (now aged 79) to A Coruña for a retrospective and a master class. The intensity of the retrospective last programme – composed of Castle 1 (1966), Berlin Horse (1970), Threshold and Horror Film 1, all presented in 16mm – moved the audience, some of them broke into tears. After performing Horror Film 1, Le Grice said that it was maybe his last performance of the piece, adding "I'm actually offering it to anyone else who wants to do it. There is a person in New Zealand, a woman, who does it, and I've given her all the materials for it, and she does it occasionally. She also does it with students.". The emotions of that evening are still violently pulsating, and all I can say is: I don't want to believe you, Malcolm. You'll perform again, and we will all be grateful for that.
After his master class at Filmoteca de Galicia, I sat down with him for a short conversation on his first book, academia and more.

I would like to start this conversation by engaging with memory. I have with me a copy of your 1977 book Abstract Film and Beyond. Can you tell me something about the time when you were writing this?
Well, it's interesting because I was working on it for at least two years, I think, but mostly the writing was done in six months. But then nearly a year and a half was spent in editing and getting the publication done. Now, goodness, how do I get my brain back to what was going on then? First of all, I wrote the book because there were things which I didn't know. So I had to do real research into the early period of experimental cinema, which was Léger and Man Ray, and even Oskar Fischinger and Hans Richter, all of that. And not just abstract: my understanding of abstract is not the same thing as non-figurative. My understanding of abstract is when you draw out the properties and separate the properties from each other: that's abstraction. If you take the colour from the form, so you got an orange or whatever, and you take the colour away, you've got orange and you've got the form. And those are two abstractions. So, once you've abstracted, instead of putting back orange you could put back green, or blue, or whatever. That, for me, is for example what Matisse does in the Fauves. So, for me abstraction is not just about films with no representation. I took the interpretation that you could take films that had photographic images and they could still be abstract. So, Léger's Ballet mécanique, for example, is abstract.
Then, there was a polemical question as well, although it didn't play so heavily in this. A very important polemic at that time was to establish the British and the European artists in the experimental cinema, when it was completely dominated by the American. Because the Americans had a lot of developed artists, but they also had all the publicity system, they had promotion. You know, I talked about the CIA this morning, but actually, the CIA was promoting artists, as a cultural promotion. It's not true that I was cynical, because actually a lot of people involved in the CIA liked the work, they actually appreciated it. From the politics of American culture it was very important to make an establishment of the European work in a way that could be compared with (and compete with) the American work, so that polemic is in there.
I've always felt that Abstract Film and Beyond was more of an artist book than an academic one – I don't think you like the word academic. I see it as an artist book because the research you were doing, the type of questioning, has the urge of a creator, of someone who wants to understand something, reach a perspective, in order to keep creating. You've also inserted yourself, your artistic practice, in the book: you write, briefly, about your work, one can see reproductions of film strips from Little Dog for Roger and Berlin Horse, and also a picture of you performing Horror Film 1. Because of this aspect of your book, I wonder if you've ever been questioned about research rigour, in an academic context.
Not at all. I mean, there wasn't the same academic establishment then, that there is now. Now, a lot of publication is done in universities to make sure that your research rating is high. And that you could get your money for research. So it's a gain now. When I wrote this I didn't think of it being in the university at all, for me it was in the public domain, it wasn't for the university. In fact, there really wasn't any experimental film in the British universities at all, at that time. Even the art colleges, many of them didn't even offer degrees, they didn't offer a Bachelor of Arts or a Master of Arts, a lot of the art colleges simply offered diplomas, so there was no establishment of a research culture within the universities. That changed, and I was part of the change, because when I became Dean of Faculty [
at Harrow College in 1984, Ed.
] and then Head of Research [
at Central Saint Martins in 1997, Ed.
] it was at a time when first of all we established that art could be a subject for a bachelor's degree, that it could have master's degrees and that it could have doctorates. That didn't exist. By the nineties we were establishing all of that, the BAs earlier, and I was part of this because the money for teaching was going down and down, so the only way of making up the difference of the money in the university context, was to build your research funding. I got very involved, I was on the national committee for how to define research in the arts, and that committee then decided on the equivalences for research. After that, the universities that had art departments were able to apply to the government for research funding. Of course that made a big difference to the teachers mainly, because the research money went to the teachers for their research activity. Some of it went to students for PhDs, but the main amount was going to the teachers. So that didn't exist at the time this book was written. It was very naïve and very undeveloped. The awareness, the culture, was very undeveloped for experimental cinema and there was a sort of still uncertainty. The production money came from the British Film Institute or the Arts Council. The British Film Institute didn't have any understanding of experimental film at all, they brought me on to the committee of the production board of the British Film Institute [
from 1971 to 1975, Ed.
] and then I was the chair of the committee at the Arts Council, for artists' film and video [
from 1986 to 1990, Ed.
]. In that way, it was all about building up a basis for the culture.
You were creating tools for the future generations.
That's right, I don't think I'm making this up in retrospect. What I realised was that we needed a culture for this. We needed something more than individual artists trying to make films. We needed a culture. And obviously the focus for that culture, to start with, was the Arts Laboratory. It was more important than people realise. The Arts Laboratory in Drury Lane was the centre of counter-culture. But there was also the group who started the London Film-Makers' Co-op, they were all really cinéastes, not filmmakers, as far as I can recall, the only filmmaker in that group was Stephen Dwoskin. He was the only one, all the rest were all saying "Wouldn't it be nice if we had a film culture?". The London Film-Makers' Co-op was modelled completely on the New York's Film-Makers' Cooperative, but all the production idea came not from there, but from the Arts Laboratory.
In regard to building an experimental film culture, can you tell me more about the days at the Arts Laboratory?
It was me and David Curtis, we talked a lot about how to encourage and stimulate filmmaking, and David was very important in this. He dug up other artists and put on performances and various things in the Arts Lab. He was a very significant figure really, and he set a cinema up and really promoted experimental film. He and I were a lot together, it was he and I who really had the idea of a filmmakers' workshop. Then, he was always very supportive and he was working at the Arts Council as well. We were infiltrators.
You were injecting something new into the country's institutions - that were still not understanding what you were doing. Were you fully aware of the strategic possibilities given by this chance to infiltrate institutions like the BFI and the Arts Council?
There's something strange about the English: if somebody opposes, then what they try to do is not stop it but try to include it. I was a big, big critic, of the British Film Institute in relationship to contemporary and experimental cinema, so what did they do? They asked me to join the committee. So I'm infiltrating, and of course I don't say "Oh no, I'm not going to go in that committee". It's how the British at that time worked.
I would like to go back to Abstract Film and Beyond. Speaking in terms of research, of conceptual understanding: when you finished the book, do you recall of achieving something that you needed for your artistic practice?
The research and the thinking increased the intellectual content, the understanding, of what was going on. It is more analytical than it is theoretical, analysing what was going on in experimental film. I'm more of an analyst than I am a theorist. Peter Gidal is more of a theorist, I am a theorist, but mostly I'm looking at things and see how does this work, what's going on with it, what's actually happening.
Do you think that this analytical modus operandi is also reflected in your films?
I don't know, I think that's different. Again, Peter Gidal and I we've talked a lot over the years. One of the things I think we both agreed with is that none of us begin our work from theory, we always prefer a more spontaneous practice. Virtually none of the films that I made began from a theoretical position. The theory came as an analysis afterwards, by including what actually is now a very important essay, which is the Real time/space essay1. But Real time/space did not lead the work, the work led the concept. And, certainly for my part, I've always trusted an unconscious instinct as a filmmaker. Writing the book gave a stronger rationale to the work, but it didn't actually change the work. I would go and do things like Little Dog for Roger for example: you could not begin that from theory, there's no way. When I look at it, I now know that there's a common set of aesthetic notions that come from Little Dog for Roger, Birgit and Wilhelm Hein's Rohfilm and George Landow's Film in which there appear Sprocket Holes, Edge Lettering, Dirt Particles etc. When I made Little Dog for Roger I was not thinking of Rohfilm, I was not thinking about George Landow, I was making Little Dog for Roger, and I was making it in the same way I would make a painting. Only when I looked at it I would think "What's happening here? What's the difference between this and other non-materialist film practices?". It's still pretty much true that a lot of my filmmaking and videomaking comes out from the unconscious. I may have strategies of various sorts but [he pauses to think, Ed.]. There were a few films, the long feature-length films, which are Emily, Finnegans Chin and Black Bird Descending2, which address issues around narrative - they're works with a certain amount of theory-preceding-the-work, which was a bad thing. Fairly quickly after making them I said to myself: you're on the wrong track. You know, it was a big discussion going on at that time around deconstruction, narrative and feminism, with Laura Mulvey, who was a great friend of mine. Laura Mulvey and Peter Wollen shot one of their films in my kitchen.

It's my kitchen in Harrow. There was a lot of that kind of cross-discussion and influence. And I was influenced by the debate about feminism, but in particular about the semiotics of cinema. But that was the only time, I think, in my filmmaking, where the theoretical got into the films ahead of the making. Also partly because I got a lot of money for those from Channel 4 and from the Arts Council, and you don't take as many risks, if you're working with a big budget. With a big budget you got a cameraman and a crew. I've looked at them recently, and they're not as bad as I think. But I realised that my earlier work was more in the right direction. So I then went back. That's when I started making short videos. I went back to saying "OK, I'm going to make short films, I'm going to respond to the material, I'm not going to take on that kind of wrong ambition".

Şehir hayatından sıkılmış; yoğun trafik stresi, korna sesleri, yaya trafiği, kendisine hitap etmeyen kurallar, egzoz dumanı, göze hoş gelmeyen yapılar… İş yerinde huzurlu olmayan; her gün ayni rutini izleyerek işe gidiş saatleri, dolmuş çilesi, mesleki stresler, sürekli gülümsemek zorunda olduğun mesai arkadaşları, ast-üst ilişkileri gibi bir çok unsur, her şeyi bir kenara bırakarak yola düşme fikrini getiriyor. Bezende sadece gezip görüp öğrenmek, anılar ve hikayeler biriktirmek, yeni insanlar tanıma fikri cazip geliyor. Bizlerin nedenleri aynı gibi görülse de aslında bir çoğumuzun hikayesi farklı olabiliyor.
Gezgin olmak; istediğin yere, istediğin zamanda, süre sıkıntısı olmadan seyahat edebilmektir. Bir sürü hikâye ve anı biriktirmektir. Şehir ve iş stresinden uzak durmaktır. Gülümsemek, mutlu olmak, farklı heyecanlar tatmaktır. Maceraya atılmak, kısaca özgür olmaktır.
Her ne kadar mükemmel gibi görünen bir yaşam tarzımız olsada bu işinde tabii ki zorlukları var. En önemli iki neden ise;
Gezilerin finanse edilmesi,
İnsanların bizlere bakış açıları.
Gezileri finanse etmenin çeşitli yolları var. Bunlara bir kaç örnek verelim; seyahati sırasında çeşitli materyaller satmak (el yapımı takılar vb.), fotoğrafçılıkla ilgilenenlerin çekimlerini çeşitli sitelerde satması, yazarların yazılarını farklı sitelerde belli bir ücret karşılığı yayımlaması, enstrümanları ile sokak müziği yapanlar, birikimleri ile seyahat edenler veya sponsor edinip farklı kurum yada kuruluşların desteği ile gezenler. Bunların birçoğunu aynı anda yapanlarda tabii ki var. Her alanda becerisi ya da imkanı olanlar çok daha rahat seyahat edebiliyorlar.
İnsanların bizlere bakış açısı da; değişkenlik gösterebiliyor. Kimisi seçimlerimiz yada cesaretimizden dolayı taktir ederken, kimisi de bunların ‘boş işler olduğunu, meslek sahibi olmamız gerektiğini, aile kurmamızın önemli olduğunu, kısaca serserilikten ibaret olduğunu’ düşünürler. Ben aksine bunu tamamen “sigortalı bir iş karşılığında yaşama sevincini satmamak” diyorum.
Elbette sıkça karşılaştığımız sorular da var. Gerek yolda tanıştığımız, gerekse bir şekilde arabasına bindiğimiz ya da evine misafir olduğumuz insanların çılgınca merak ettikleri çılgınca sorular… Her ne kadar aynı rutin soru ve cevaplardan sıkılmış olsak da soru ve cevap diyaloğunun sonu keyifli sohbetlere dönüşebiliyor bazen. “nerelisin, nereden geldin, nereleri gezdin, ne iş yapıyorsun, nereden gelir elde ediyorsun, öğrenci misin, ailen bu ise ne diyor, özlemiyor musun, yemek işini ne yapıyorsun, banyo işini ne yapıyorsun, korkmuyor musun, manitan var mı, nereye kadar böyle gidecek” vs. En güldüğüm sorular ve yorumları da paylaşmak istiyorum ki bunu gülerek yazıyorum;

Bunun gibi birçok diyalog yaşıyoruz ve inanın bana bunlar sonu olmayan diyaloglar aslında.
Gezmenin çeşitlerine gelince; bunlarda birbirinden çok farklı tarzlar. Kendi düşünce, duygu ve karakterini yansıtan gezi çeşitleri gördüğünüz gezginin bir nevi karakterini yansıtabilir ama siz yine de bu şekilde bakmayın olaya.
Ne Tür Şekillerde Gezi Seyahati Yapabilir?
İş Seyahatleri
İş seyahatleri en sınırlandırılmış gezi şeklidir. Özgür sayılmazsınız. Hizmetinde bulunduğunuz kurumun yönlendirmesi ya da şirketiniz menfaati durumunda yapacağınız seyahat şeklidir. Kara, hava, ya da nadir durumlarda deniz yolu kullanılabilir. Gideceğiniz ülke veya şehirlerde size çeşitli otellerden rezervasyon yaptırılır ve yapacağınız harcamaların faturalandırılması istenir. Bağlı bulunduğunuz kurum tüm masraflarınızı karşılar. Gerekli görüşme ya da işleri hallettikten sonra geri dönersiniz.
Otostopla Gezenler
Seyahat etmek istedikleri yere yol masrafı yapmadan farklı araçlar kullanarak seyahat edilen gezi biçimdir. Son bir kaç yıldır ülkemizde de otostop kültürü gelişmeye başladı. Genelde şehirlerarası yollarda sırt çantalı – özellikle genç kitle- gezginleri görmek mümkün. Bireysel ya da küçük gruplar haline yol kenarlarında işaret parmaklarını kaldırarak araç durdurmak isterler. Bana göre otostopla seyahat şeklide tercih edilebilir ve keyiflidir. Yolda yeni insanlar tanıma fırsatı sunar bizlere ve çeşitli yeni hikayeler edinilebilir. Ne yazık ki bazı sürücüler bu durumdan şikayetçi. Araçlarına aldıkları gezginin hal ve hareketleri, rahatsız edici rahatlıkları durumunda sürücüler de zor durumda kalıyorlar. Ama yine de otostopçu alıyorlar. Bu durumda bizleri araçlarına alan yardım sever insanlara biraz daha saygılı olmamız gerekiyor.
Araçlarıyla Gezenler
Motosikletli Gezenler
Hemen hemen hepimizin hayallerini bir motosiklet süslemiştir. Düşünsenize uzun yol yapabileceğiniz güzel bir motorunuz var ve heybeleri takıp düşmüşsünüz yollara. Bence mükemmel denilebilecek bir hayal. Otostop ve şehirlerarası toplu taşıma bana göre değil diyorsanız, bir de adrenalini seviyorsanız motosiklet mükemmel bir seçenek. Vergi ve yakıt masraflarını en aza indirgeyebileceğiniz ulaşım aracı. Rüzgarın teninize vurması kadar güzel kaç hissiyat vardır ki… Araçla gezmek istesem tercihim buna yönelik olurdu muhtemelen. Ama bunun içinde alınması gereken önemli tedbirler var. Öncelikle motosiklet kullanıcılarının korumalarını kesinlikle tam teşekküllü edinmesi ve kullanması gerekiyor. Dört tekerde emniyet kemeri kadar önemli olan kask, pantolon ve ceketimizin zırhlı olması, dizlik, dirseklik ve eldiven kullanımı es geçilmemeli. Tercihen motosikletin sınıfına ve cinsine göre de çizme seçilmeli. Tüm iki teker kullanıcılarının yolu açık olsun diyelim.
Arabayla Seyahat
Biraz daha konforuna ve dört tekere düşkün olanlar için ideal bir seçenek. Yaz kış demeden kullanılabilir bir seyahat aracı. Hava durumuna göre klima kullanılabilen, rahatça müzik dinlenilebilen, birden çok yol arkadaşı taşıyabileceğiniz bir yöntem. Aracın cinsine göre bagaj hacmi geniş olabiliyor. Masrafları motosiklete göre biraz daha fazla olsada tercih edilebilir güzel bir seçenek.
Karavanla Seyahat
İşte gönlümüzsün efendisi diye nitelendirdiğim seyahat aracı. Karavan; evini tekerlekler üzerinde taşımak için tasarlanan bir araç. En konforlu ve keyifli seçenek olabilir. Gideceğiniz her yere yanınıza tüm konforunuzu taşıyabilirsiniz. Çadırda ya da ek masraf olarak otelde yatmak zorunda kalmazsınız. Karavanınızın içinde yatağınıza, mutfağınız, koltuğunuz, televizyon, giysi dolabı ve diğer birçok eşyanız olabilir. Karavanınızın büyüklüğüne göre konforunuzda artacaktır. Karavanlarında birçok çeşidi var. Biz iki sınıfta özetleyelim.
-Motorlu karavan; göze en hoş gelendir. Aracın arka kasasının eviniz gibi olduğu cinstir. Sürücü kokpitinden direkt arka tarafa geçilebilir.
-Römork karavan; ihtiyaca göre çeşitleri vardır. Aracınızın arkasında çeki demiri ile römork şeklinde çekilir. Aslında biraz daha kullanış amacıyla rahat olabilir. Çünkü kampınızı kurduğunuz yerde ihtiyaca göre bir yere gitmeniz gerekirse orada bırakılabilir.
İkisi de boyut, cins ve modeline göre fiyatları değişkenlik gösteriyor. Dezavantajı ise; fiyatları oldukça pahalı. Özellikle motovanların vergileri çok yüksek. Yine de maddi durumu yeterli olanların kesinlikle tercih etmesi gereken bir seçenek.
Şehirler Arası Toplu Taşıma İle Gezenler
Yeterli birikim ya da gelir ile başınıza buyruk gezebileceğiniz güzel bir yöntem olabilir. Uçak, otobüs, gemi veya demiryolları kullanılabilen bir seçenek. Her ne kadar tercih etmesem de eğlenceli olabilecek bir yöntem. Önceden yapılan otel rezervasyonu ya da ‘couchsurfing’ sistemiyle önceden gideceğiniz ülke yada şehirde kendinize yer ayırtabilirsiniz. Tek yapmanız gereken kullanacağınız araca binip seyahatinize başlamak olur. Dediğim gibi çok tercih etmiyorum çünkü bir aracın içinde saatlerce kapalı kalmak pek bana göre değil. Ama tren yolculuklarını severim. Çünkü trenlerde de kalkıp gezme ve yeni arkadaşlıklar kurma imkanımız olabiliyor.
Yürüyerek Seyahat Edenler
İşte o benim. Yürümeyi gerçekten seviyorsanız ve tabiri caizse ‘biraz kafayı kırdıysanız’ yürüyerek şehirler arası yolculuk yapabilirsiniz. Bu oldukça yorucu ve zahmetli bir iş. Sırtınızda -ihtiyaçlarınıza göre- 15-30 kg bir çanta ile yürümek yorucu olabiliyor. Ben dağcı olduğum için çok fazla yürüyor ve çok fazla ayakkabı eskitiyorum. Yürüyenlerde en büyük masraf beslenmektir. Gündelik yaktığımız kaloriyi hesaplamamız gerekir. Aksi halde yeni güne yorgun ve kilo vermiş olarak başlarız. Bu ciddi bir meseledir. En büyük ikinci masrafımız ise ayakkabılarımızdır. Her ne kadar pahalı yada kaliteli olursa olsun kullanım ömrü çok düşer. En dikkat edilmesi gerek hususlardan biride yürüyenler için ayak bakımıdır. Çadırınıza girmeden önce ayak bakımı tam anlamıyla yapılmalı ve temiz çorap giyerek yatılmalıdır.
Bisiklet İle Seyahat Edenler
Teknoloji sadece elektronik , tıp yada otomotiv gibi sektörlerde ilerlemiyor. Çok güzel bir seyahat yöntemi olan bisikletlerde de geçerli teknoloji. Günümüzde bir kaç bin liralık bisikletlere rastlamak sizi şaşırtmasın. Model, materyal, tür vb. unsurlara göre bisiklet fiyatları değişkenlik gösterirler. Ayrıca söz konusu uzun yol bisikletlerine ekstra aksesuarlar almak gereklidir. Bisikletlerimize GPS, suluk, heybe, ön-arka fener, yedek tamir kiti vb. aksesuarlar bulundurmamız gerekir. Yanısıra sürücünün de kişisel koruma malzemeleri edinmesi gerekir. Mesela kask, eldiven, gözlük, uygun giysi vb. Hem spor yapıp hem seyahat etmek isteyenler için en ideal yöntemdir. En azından yürümeye göre daha konforludur.
Gezi çeşitleri, konaklama tipleri, kullanılan araçlar, rota seçimleri ve daha birçoğu çok daha çeşitlendirilebilir. Önemli olan ne şekilde olursa olsun yolda olmaktır ve mutlu olduğumuz hayatı etrafımızdaki tüm unsurlara saygı çerçevesinde yaşamaktır.
Kim ne düşünürse düşünsün yaşadığımız hayatı seviyor ve tüm insanların bir şekilde seyahat etmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Çünkü yaşadığımız o kadar güzel anı ve manevi birikim var ki… Yolda olmanın her zaman en güzeli olduğunu biliyorum.

Güney Ege Yeniden Yapılanma Ajansı (GEKA) Genel Sekreter Vekili Bağımsızlık Akdoğan, Pamukkale ve çevresinde termal turizm anlamında yatırım bölgelerinin pozitif olduğunu ve potansiyelinin yüksek olduğunu kaydederek, ilerleyen dönemlerde bölgeye daha artı turist geleceğini ümit ettiklerini söyledi.
GEKA kadar gerçekleştirilen Orta Doğu ve Kuzey Afrika ülkelerinin (MENA) 27 öbür şehrinden seyahat acenteleri, tur operatörleri ile gazetecileri “Termal ve Sıhhat Turizmi” programı zarfında Denizli’nin Pamukkale ilçesinde bir araya geldi. Görüşme GEKA’nın yanı sıra Başbakanlık Yatırım Destek ve Tanıtım Ajansı (TYDTA), TYDTA MENA Ülkeleri Temsilcisi Mustafa Göksu, Türkiye Turizm Yatırımcıları Derneği (TTYD), Türk Havayolları (THY), Zafer Kalkınma Ajansı (AKIL) ve özel sektör işbirliğiyle gerçekleştirildi.
Toplantıda seyahat acenteleri temsilcileri Orta Doğu ve Kuzey Afrika ülkelerindeki meslektaşları ile turizm turları üstüne zihin alışverişinde bulunarak ortak alıştırma planları oluşturdu. İlçedeki termal bir otelde gerçekleştirilen buluşma ile ilgili açıklamalarda yer alan GEKA Genel Sekreter Vekili Özgür Akdoğan, MENA ülkeleri diye adlandırılan Orta Doğu ve Kuzey Afrika ülkelerinde seyahat acenteleri temsilcileri, gazeteciler ve sosyal medya fenomenleri diye adlandırılan temsilcileri Denizli’de ağırlamaktan duydukları memnuniyeti dile getirdi. Toplantının öncelikli amacının Denizli ve bölgesinin yabancı ülkeler ile birlikte MENA ülkelerinde daha fazla tanıtılmasını temin etmek olduğunu açıklayan Akdoğan, “Bu etkinlik ile daha pozitif tanıtım yapılmasını planlıyoruz. Etkinlikte karşılıklı görüşmeler yapılıyor. Bu görüşmelerde yabancı seyahat acenteleri buradaki yani Denizli’deki otellerimiz ile görüşecekler. Görüşmeler sonucunda yeni anlaşmalar yapılacak ve sonradan bölgemizi de misafirlerimize gezdireceğiz. Bu dek kültür ve öteki turizm türleri noktasında zenginliğe sahip bölgemize hayran kalacakların düşünüyoruz” dedi.
“Buranın potansiyeli çok yüksek”
Akdoğan gazetecilerin “bu cins etkinliklerin hesaplı yatırım anlamında kısa vadede olmazsa bile uzun vadede geri dönüşleri olacak mı?” sorusuna “Geri dönüşler ast ancak olacak. Burada yatırım alanları, arazilerimiz var. Buranın potansiyeli fazla yüksek. Yeni tesis ve otellerimiz olacaktır mutlaka. Biz bunların tanıtımı için çalıyoruz. bununla beraber daha artı turist geleceğini önümüzdeki yıllarda yaptığımız istatistiklerde göreceğimizi umuyoruz” yanıtını verdi.
Toplantıya katılan yatırımcı ve Suudi Arabistan Turizm Bakanlığı Yatırım Danışmanı Abdülaziz Jaber ise yaklaşık 9 yıldır Trabzon ile çalıştıklarını ancak Denizli’nin de turizm açısından potansiyelinin yüksek olduğunu vurguladı.
Toplantı Denizli Valisi Hasan Karahan, Pamukkale Belediye Başkanı Hüseyin Gürlesin ve davetlilerin katıldığı yemekle sona erdi. – DENİZLİ

Dijital göz yorgunluğu hakkında bilinmesi gerekenler
Dijital ekranların artık yaşamımızın vazgeçilmezi olduğu bir reel. Telefon, tablet ve bilgisayar karşı geçirdiğimiz süre arttıkça bu tür ekranların kullanımına ast gelişebilen afiyet problemleri de literatürde tanımlanmaya başlandı.
Konu hakkında data veren, Okan Üniversitesi Hastanesi Göz Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Uzmanı Op.Dr. Başak Bostancı ”Parmaklarda hissizlik, ense ve boyun ağrıları gibi adale ve eklem problemlerinin yanı sıra, göz ve görme ile ilgili sıkıntılar da dijital araçların uzun vakit kullanımına emrindeki gelişebilecek problemler arasında sıralanmakta” dedi.
Dijital alet kullanımının zararları
Dr. Bostancı, ”Dijital göz yorgunluğu sendromu, bilgisayar, telefon ve tablet kullanımı esnasında ya da kullanımının gerisinde ortaya meydana çıkan bir dizi oküler yüzey sıkıntısı ve görme problemi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Hastaların en çok şikayet ettiği sıkıntılar arasında gözlerde bitkinlik, kaşıntı, kızarıklık, kuruluk, yanma, sulanma; flu veya çift görme, yavaş odaklanma, renklerin algılanmasında deformasyon ve baş ağrısı yer alır. Bu problemler böylece çok kişide bu cins ekranların kullanımına bir vakit ara verilmesi ile hafiflerken, bilhassa altta yatan göz kuruluğu, alerji, ve güya göz problemleri olan kişilerde mevcut göz hastalığının kötüleşmesine yol açarak yaşam kalitesini ve göz sağlığını bozabilir. Yapılan çalışmalarda bu durumun meslek yaşamında üretkenliği %40’a kadar azaltabileceği ortaya konmuştur” ifadelerini kullandı.
Göz sağlığı için alınabilecek önlemler
Dr.Bostancı; ”Göz yorgunluğu tedavisinde çizilecek rotada birincil yapılması gereken bu duruma sebep olabilecek mekanizmaların belirlenerek ortadan kaldırılması olmalıdır. Burada alınabilecek önlemler, çevresel faktörlerin değiştirilmesi ve göz bakımı ile alınabilecek önlemler olarak gruplandırılabilir.
Çevresel faktörlerden birincil düzenlenmesi gereken etmen ışıklandırmadır. Aydınlık ışıklar, ekrandan göze kutup yansıyan güneş ışığı ve yokuş floresan lambaları çoğunlukla kamaşmaya yol açarak gözlerde hastalık yapar. Fazla aydınlık veya karanlık olan bir odada dijital ekran kullanan kişilerde göz yorgunluğuna daha sık rastlandığı, tekrar daha koyu ekran rengi kullanan kişilerde gözlerde kuruma şikayetinin daha artı saptandığı araştırmalar ile ortaya konmuştur. Ekran parlaklığı etraf aydınlatması ile benzer olmalı ve kontrast mümkün olduğunca arttırılmalıdır. Dijital ekranların gözlerden hemen hemen 90 cm uzaklıkta olması, ekranın orta noktasının göz seviyesinin takriben 15 cm aşağı konumlanması önerilmektedir. Gözlere fazla yakın bilgisayar, tablet ya da cep telefonu kullanımı, artmış bir yakın görme ihtiyacına yol açarak göz kaslarının artı çalışmasına sebep olmakta, bu koşul da gözlerde yorulma, şakak ve baş ağrısı gibi semptomların ortaya çıkmasına yol açmaktadır.
Bütün bunların yanı sıra hastaların gün içinde yerinde miktarda değişken alımının sağlanması, beslenmelerinde esansiyel yağ asitlerinin ve vitaminlerin dengeli bir şekilde verilmesi, uyku düzenlerinin korunması, altta yatan göz kuruluğu tedavisinin açısından ağırlık talep etmektedir. Etraf ısıtmasının yerinde ayarlanması, klima ile havalandırılan büro ortamlarında gözlerin kurumasının engellenmesi için ortam nemlendiricilerinin kullanılması da meslek yerlerinde alınabilecek önlemler aralarında yer alır.
Dijital göz yorgunluğu tedavisinde en önemli basamak göz doktorunca yapılacak ayrıntılı muayene ile kişide diğer bir göz probleminin olmadığının ortaya konması, hastanın bilgilendirilmesi ve kişiye özel tedavi yönteminin geliştirilmesi ile olacaktır” dedi.
