OH MY GOG..

Honestly it started off as a crack ship between me and this one friend until it eventually left the group chat and spread the Loray agenda here and there (only on discord since I'm too shy here ex dee)

The gag started off as "they both hate Rurik's ass" but thanks to pookie @/mysteryflavorsoda w the Loray era last year changed my view on them having potential more than that.

But here was this unfinished list I made about how they could work out (a few months ago)

Trying to recall.. Rays the type to pretend to be cool... edgy and appear as stand offish - while Lotus sees right through him, pressing the right buttons and making him lose all his confidence. (Disclaimer it's all purely headcanons)

Both of them have their own set of problems (Lotus mainly) so they start very slow, BUT (keyword: Ray PRETENDS) both of them have the tendency to hide their feelings, even if they're just hanging out as friends they're comfortable enough to show that other side of themselves (unconsciously)

Although it takes alot of time for Lotus to completely open up, Ray lets him do his own thing, not rushing to have a proper label with Lotus. In this case Ray would fall first, Lotus falls harder -

Their relationship would start off very passively but would eventually grow to some (jokingly) flirts, light touches, longing gazes, teasing each other what not. Ray is dumbfounded when Lotus reciprocates because it's sooo unexpected for someone as reclused and reserved as LOTUS

And I think that might be all?? I have a pin board for them (CherryBomb) on my Pinterest (same handle here) if you wanna know more about their dynamic ^_^
