Animation, the art of making inanimate objects appear to move. An artistic impulse that long predates the movies. Yes, animated movies had come in a long way ever since the introduction of the cat and mouse scene. The med 8ium can be done through individual drawings, most often through digital media, or illustrations that are photographed frame by frame, alike stop-frame cinematography. Animated films can bring a level of abstraction and a kind of beauty that is difficult to achieve with other media, so emotional experiences can be enhanced via the medium.
Nowadays, animated movies are a staple of modern day cinema. They are perhaps the one of the most important genre in the film industry, and not only in terms of franchise success, but also their contribution to our cultural heritage, ability to convey mythology, way of communicating meaningful messages to audiences of worldwide. The animate genre film genere is also flexible, enough to mix with other genres. Introducing variations and variations of animated films.

Scary/halloween children's movies?
In my house we <3 zombies...I mean obsessed. So we love Halloween. Now while me and the hubby do an adult horror movie marathon all October we are now including the children in on the tradition by designing a kid friendly marathon for them. Any ideas?
So far we have:
