No one uses the word “fusion” anymore It’s too 90s trendy Or “intercontinental fine dining” as that is super 80s. So which words should I use to describe this? I’m open to suggestions. Hand dived scallops, tataki style with cucumbers in this incredible toasted sesame/chili blend I got in Mexico City, and an avocado soaked in a yuzu/smoked salt and toasted sesame oil It’s a Japanese, Mexican, Californian dream lunch.
