While it was true she had former experience with three little demons in the past, Gillian was pretty sure none of it counted at all when it came to trying to understand the girl sitting opposite her and Hans. Lily Rose Westergaard was a completely different type of beast than Oscar’s children had been, which truthfully in many ways made interacting with her far easier than the triplets but was still undoubtedly foreign territory that she had no idea how to wade through. Territory that she surprisingly found herself actually willing to brave, not just because it was required of her like she had with the others, but because she for some reason genuinely was intrigued by the child. Which was what had led her to right now, sitting on Hans’s living room floor with the man in question on her left and his daughter across from them with a board game placed in the center of them all. It was one she remembered well from her own childhood, never having actually owned herself but having played at others’ houses plenty of times. The artwork on the board had been updated and the props were brighter in this newer edition, but the game itself was still exactly the same. And because of that, she had to let out a snort of a laugh at her friend’s insistence that he would be the winner of it all. “Oh, I don’t doubt that,” she actually allowed, rather than countering his statement so early on. There would be plenty of time for her own competitive side to come out, if this supposed game night lasted as long as Lily Rose proclaimed it would, but for now she’d let him have it. “I just bet you’re the prettiest of all the pretty pretty princesses, huh? Isn’t that right, Little Rose?” The smirk at her teasing only grew when the young girl eagerly agreed, proclaiming her daddy to be the most prettiest princess ever. It was actually quite adorable she had to admit, the love that was clearly there between the two - and it truly tickled her even more so that Lily Rose had no idea she was joining in on poking fun of her father. @slowpokewrites

    "oh, she is." usually it's a death sentence to readily agree to something like this ( and with that tone in evie's voice, too! ) but finn doesn't seem bothered by the faux pas. instead he slides a grin to evie, one that makes it obvious they're about to be in on a joke together. that it won't matter how pretty that other girl is because the two of them have this and she doesn't. "absolute snooze fest to talk to, though. lost count of the number of times she mentioned her small-business-that-totally-isn't-an-MLM and how she makes her own hours. if you see me stuck in a convo with her later, i'm begging you now to swoop in and rescue me from it."

she wasn’t hiding from her mom, not exactly. if her errands around the isle and her daily visit to her dad gave evie perfectly valid reasons to stay away from the queen when not even her daughter could handle her mood? that was just good luck, of course. evie would never intentionally avoid her mom. the princess was delivering a pair of clothes to one ally from dragon hall when her too alert eyes found her brother —  ❛ haze ! ❜   —     she called so she would not surprise him when she got closer.  —  ❛ if you thinking about going home right now, please don’t. mother is... well, we could go graffiti something or maybe you can try to teach me archery again  ❜   —  both options weren’t something evie usually do, but she didn’t want to let hazel near their mother when her emotions were even messier than usual

"I hope you didn't come back here without news of wayward family demise." To most it would have sounded like a threat, and on some level perhaps it was, but frankly he didn't think she would have overstepped. If Dahlia was dead, then good. And should his parents have made a reappearance during her jaunt, then god willing, she'd sent them back to the grave.

"How is my niece?" Miscellaneous Strix waved off, out of polite familiarity he kissed her cheek, before turning to pour two glasses of bourbon. "And Rebekah." A pause as his fingers closed over each glass. "She hasn't returned my calls." Perhaps it was an assignment of blame, perhaps it was simply a passing comment on the frustration of delayed communication. Then he turned again, holding her glass out. "I'm sure you wouldn't be responsible for that."

Villains in the CH style Anon Request: Pt. 1

Grimhilde, being the narcissistic person that she is, likely would’ve traded her soul for eternal youth and beauty that was above everyone else’s. Of course, if the Devil were to just hand out immortality to people--if he could even really do that--he’d likely have a lot of trouble claiming the souls of his debtors, so rather than her being unkillable, she’d be an ageless human being.  The mirror acted as her insurance to remain “the most beautiful of all,” but really was just crafted to continue to feed her ego until the right moment.

(I swear, this man’s got arms that are so skinny that they could be used as toothpicks...) With his defeat at Aladdin’s hands, Jafar turned to the Devil to restore his freedom and human form, as well as his powers--only this time not merely limited when he has his staff.  Most of his powers are poison or serpent based: Transforming into a giant snake, power over snakes, hypnotism, an acid/poisonous bite, etc.  Also his staff has it’s own consciousness.

Sa’Luk was brought back to life in his gold form, and given how he was already bound for Hell, the Devil struck a deal with him to use him as the leading muscle of a gang of bounty hunters rather than toss him in the Pit.  Beyond him still maintaining his strength, the Hand of Midas not only affected his body to turn it into gold, but also transferred part of its magic to him in order to allow him to turn others to gold (like with Cala Maria’s stone gaze).  This power, however, is limited depending on the will of the person it is used against, and therefore a person can break free from it. 

Judge Doom’s contract really became more of a curse than anything.  He wanted to be taken seriously as a man of logic with big plans to succeed in life, however, kept on being dismissed over the fact that he was a toon.  He never felt belonged with them--he hated them for their antics and doubly being a target for them because he wasn’t as wild or wacky and was easy to get a funny reaction out of.  He traded his soul to essentially become “normal” so he could move on with his life, but ended up creating a split personality.  So he’s got essentially two, dark voices in his head: The greedy, but calculating man of logic and the crazed, unpredictable toon that knows how to pull a wild card.

I don’t think Oogie Boogie would trade his soul easily, or feel that he’d have much of a reason too since he thinks too much of himself, but I do think he’d try to cheat the Devil at the casino.  And pay for it in spades.  He’d end up getting caught pretty quickly and get his butt hunted down.
