i think something i'm going to explore with juniperclan is unravelling a lot of tropes that are kind of normal in wc as a whole (specifically with like misogyny) and really examine how the series affected the way that i wrote when i was younger because i genuinely think it impacted a lot of how i wrote without me even realizing it (cause like. when you are 12 you are a lot less aware of your influences)

#ae's thoughts #cause like misogyny is a huge problem in wc #and i have always been very forward about my thoughts on that #and then i see old stories i wrote about my wc characters at 12 and it's like “and she became a mom. yay!!!!” lol #which obviously motherhood is a nuanced discussion but in short i'm getting at that in wc motherhood is the ultimate goal of every woman #which is harmful to propogate #so i'm excited to sink my teeth into it #and at the same time this is also a 'feel good' project to help me through depressive stuff so it won't be a grand observation over and ove #but when the feeling strikes i think i'll be interesting to examine and also compare with the stories that i've written over the years #warriors #warrior cats #ae's juniperclan
