Pt III good omens but i STILL SOMEHOW haven't watched it (and i'm increasingly passive aggressive)
i'm now basically held hostage adopted as mascot by this fandom. it's fine i'm fine *SIGNALS FOR HELP DESPERATELY*
Alright fuckers I swear this time I'm going to get some shit right. Without further ado, here's my third attempt at a good omens summary:
Everything everywhere is queer all at once
Angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley on earth likey each other
The car is a bentley and it is BLACK not silver and everyone is very upset about this. my bad yall it was reflecting light therefore i guessed more silver than black but I'm not Anish Kapoor take your black.
Then it is yellow, and aziraphale likes it. crowley preferred the black because he's a flamboyant emo.
God is a deadbeat absentee parent and you are all children of divorce.
There's a naked archangel and they cause problems for the husbands somehow. By being naked? By being an archangel? By being at their doorstep? Who knows not me
They were actually married for 6000 years, they just are the last to know about it.
Crowley is on fire. Like, he's slaying for sure, but also he is literally on fire, like Aziraphale's bookstore.
The actors like I said before are Michael Sheen and David Tennant but this is the place where I finally admit that I don't actually know who is whom. I'm going to assume Michael is Aziraphale because Michael sounds angel-y and David is Crowley because uh Michaelangelo made David and was gay for him.
Terry Pratchett is not fictional.
He co-wrote the book with @neil-gaiman, who IS fictional, because he does not have social media. Several of you have assured me that he is in fact a fandom inside joke. I like to think he would be proud of me.
They adopt a preteen and Crowley gives him bad advice.
At some point a baby was delivered to someone and was exchanged for the son of Satan. Idk if the baby is the preteen, or the son of satan is the preteen, or neither. This could be a fanfic, I have no way of differentiating the fanfic from canon on tumblr, except that the canon is weirder.
Crowley does not go down a chute. He goes down a telephone cord after making himself microscopic to pole dance on a pin with shroom-induced backgrounds.
During this his stage name is Disco Tony. Get it king go slay you're making better life choices than I am tbh.
Aziraphale is a biblically accurate angel, and you have all gone to extensive lengths to prove this to me. I understood nothing, but there you go.
It's all very queer, just like the fandom.
Crowley is a retired demon but he still sins by breaking the speed limit.
They eat at fancy restaurants and bicker but like in a sexual undercurrent way.
Crowley gives Aziraphale a private dance that is not a lap dance, it is an apology dance, but not in a kinky way, until it is.
Their haircuts keep changing and range from 'this is acceptable and gay' to 'i let a drunk chimpanzee take gardening shears and a blowtorch to my hair'
It's all ineffably queer my good fellows
Everyone keeps trying to convince me Neil Gaiman is the villain yeah no guys I know it's really you. Y'all be like 'SEASON TWO BROKE ME' and then you're making headcanons to make it sadder yeah I see you mmhm.
There is a final fifteen. It is sad. What is it? No one told me.
The demon turns goats into crows and the angel turns them back and then children are turned into newts (does the angel turn them back? who cares not yall) and the demon was the snake in the Eden garden and everyone's furry game seems to be on point.
There are a rather lot of children. I have not seen them. But I am assured they are there. They are, guys. I assume they were turned into the alcohol Aziraphale and Crowley drink or something.
There was an apocalypse plotline. It was averted. It is not important. You don't talk about plotlines in this fandom, no sir.
Crowley doesn't want to go to heaven. Aziraphale is sad.
The kiss is not nice, just like this fandom. It is queer, just like this fandom. It is sad and desperate and masochistic, just like this fandom.
Aziraphale doesn't want to stay back with Crowley. Crowley is sad.
Season 2 ends. Fandom is sad.
Everyone's sanity is hinging on the promise of a happy ending in season 3. Good luck guys.
Y'all better appreciate this. I can't even boast to my mother about this legacy of mine, hey mum your son has been held hostage kidnapped inducted into a cult adopted by a fandom he's not part of look he's winning at life.

seven sentence sunday!
tagged by @hippolotamus @jesuisici33
this is from my most recent wip, the good omens au!! 💗
The Garden of Eden, 4004BC
"That went over like a lead balloon."
Eddie glances over his shoulder as he hears that voice. There he is, the snake from the garden— the one who came to cause trouble and chaos with just the simple action of muttering a couple of words.
It stretches and transforms into its human shape as he comes to stand next to Eddie and— it's nothing like he's been expecting. His hair is a dark shade of blonde, almost brown, and his eyes are the prettiest shade of blue.
No demon should have those eyes, Eddie thinks almost absentmindedly. It's not fair that a fallen angel looks that good, radiating that intoxicating allure that Eddie's been warned about a thousand times.
He remains cautious, knowing demons are the temptation personified— he's just seen it, after all. Looking at this one isn't a good idea, Eddie can feel it down to his bones.
"I supposed it did." Eddie ruffles his own white feathers and looks away, to the horizon. Stares at the quickly darkening sky as this new weather thing called rain is about to start falling on them.
"Did that seem like a setup to you? I mean, this huge tree in the middle of a garden with a ‘do not touch’ sign on it? It's begging for attention." The demon says, his voice a little raspy but sweet and Eddie tries to shrug him off. "If She really didn't want them to touch the apples, maybe she should've put the three on a big mountain… or maybe the moon." The demon muses and keeps talking as if Eddie isn't quite literally his enemy. As if they're not on completely opposite sides, here.

DELILAH TIME DELILAH TIME
here she is. officially. my beloved fallout 4 oc delilah !!!! first piece done by @zetobii and the second by @leavingautumn13
i dont draw so all art of delilah comes from my dear friends who draw her for me/with their ocs and tell me i can post it OR from commissions. what i can do, however, is write <3 and make playlists and pinterest boards for visuals <3 so prepare urself <3
speaking of which, you can find her playlist here and her pinterest board here!! theyre chronological, so listening/scrolling in order should more or less tell her story too
ok so: her appearance, personality, stats, story, and some fun facts are here under the cut (its a lot fyi ok i just love her so much) pls enjoy
delilah lore (delilore?) be upon ye:
appearance:
24 years old, 5’10”
very fair skinned with bright green eyes and jet black hair
her hair is wavy and flows down to the middle of her back. she has one small braid behind her right ear
covered in freckles, from her nose to her knees. she has a tiny scar above her mouth from a past split lip and a slit in her opposite eyebrow from a past black eye
midriff is heavily discolored from past bruises - the pigmentation never fully went away - and marred with keloid scars from deep cuts from things she refuses to talk about. if her dress has a high enough slit, bruises can peek out near the very tops of her legs
large black kingsnake tattoo wrapping up a her left arm with its head near her shoulder and its tail near/on her hand
she can almost always be found in her wine-colored silk dress that reaches only about mid-thigh, nails manicured and lips painted to match. it has spaghetti straps and is loosely bodycon.
she wears stacks of gold rings (as many as possible, really) and dangly gold snake earrings
the only things she keeps on her person are the dagger and the gun strapped to her thighs under her dress. her gun was a gift from KL-E-0. it is a custom gold-plated, silenced 10mm. lilah named it "Mine"
stats:
if fo4 had a karma slider, lilah would land pretty firmly on evil. on a dnd alignment chart, think chaotic neutral or neutral evil
SPECIAL: 2, 8, 2, 10, 7, 4, 3
she's not strong nor has much endurance, but when you're as smart, perceptive, and charismatic as she is, you can charm people into carrying your stuff for you anyway.
her perks are party girl (alcohol/chem resistance), black widow (damage/persuasion against men), night person (higher int at night), and intimidation (pacify, instruct, and force opponents to attack). and deacon's cloak and dagger, of course.
personality:
cold, calculated, distant
cares about very, very few people (and even fewer things) but is fiercely loyal to those people. she's a railroad agent, but only because deacon cares about the cause and she begrudgingly cares about deacon
she and deacon clash. he refused to even vouch for her admission to the railroad. she gets along much better with glory, but she still gets assigned to run jobs with deacon because they keep each other in check and are deadly efficient as a pair (theyre also in love but they keep it a secret from everyone including each other)
she cares about very very few people but it fiercely loyal to those people. she is a railroad agent, but only because deacon cares about the cause and she "begrudgingly" cares about deacon (she cares literally so much do not let her fool u)
her moral compass is not magnetic. right and wrong is whatever she wants it to be. she takes no issue killing people if they wrong her. sexual harassment or subterfuge/targeted deception send marks to the top of her hit list.
her story:
her birth name is allie eden
she is not a sole survivor; she was born into the capital wasteland chapter of the brotherhood of steel. despite sentinel lyons' best efforts, delilah responded far better to scribe training than to combat training
she and arthur maxson were the only two kids in the citadel, and they became fast friends, even after the lyons pride crumbled and maxson was appointed elder.
he appointed her his sentinel, second in command, which she embraced until she saw how terribly the wasteland was faring under his leadership.
she promptly absconded and, because she had been so sheltered until that day, quickly lost herself to chems and alcohol.
months passed in, thanks to all the blackouts, what felt like hours. one night, allie woke up in a warm bed that she did not fall asleep in. a man named dante deangelo had pulled her body from a D.C. gutter and made sure she was safe.
in no time, they fell in love and decided to escape to the commonwealth. they found a small, basement apartment in goodneighbor and allie began tending bar at the third rail.
dante, slowly but surely, became more abusive. he left bruises and deep cuts on her body anywhere her third rail uniform would cover. she stayed, though, because she'd been raised by the brotherhood to believe that love was harsh and painful. to obey without question. to submit to authority.
eventually, she tired of that life and snapped, killing dante before he could leave any more marks on her. something... shifted. maybe it was allie eden who entered their apartment that morning, but it was delilah who left it that night.
KL-E-0, who was quite fond of allie and is far fonder of delilah, fitted her with pistol, Mine.
instead of hiding behind the bar like she had when she was with dante, she began to use it to her advantage. every dusty drifter with full pockets full of caps left her bar empty handed. but it wasnt enough.
she began targeting triggermen, who she knew were peddling chems for... someone in goodneighbor. the moment a man started flirting with her (which she hated), it was like a red dot sight appeared on their foreheads. she'd seduce them, take them back to her apartment, get her caps and chems and information, and the men would never be seen again.
morowski, goodneighbor kingpin, eventually approached her at work about his shrinking pool of chem peddlers. they struck a deal: he would slip her into his operation as his newest arm candy, and she would peddle his chems at her bar.
it worked flawlessly until morowski actually fell in love with her. go figure. unless, of course, that was lilah's plan all along...
while she's still participating in this farce with morowski, she meets drummer boy, who she ends up truly enjoying the company of even despite her general distaste for men. eventually, he convinces her to join the railroad with him
because morowski is in love with delilah, she has no issue squeezing information out of him when deacon asks her to: morowski is an institute informant. lilah quickly, uh, deals with that problem, and the next days, morowski is found dead in his office at the rexford. cause of death: self inflicted gunshot wound. what a tragedy.
because delilah was his "other half," his unofficial widow, she inherited morowski's whole chem operation
now, she happily spends her days directing the triggermen and tending her bar - for fun and for information, at this point, because she certainly doesnt need the caps. when she needs to run for the railroad or her beloved friends need her professional black widow skills, whitechapel charlie is "happy" to cover for her. as happy as he can manage, anyway.
fun facts:
she is terrified of storms, heights, and violent outbursts from people she trusts
her name comes from the bible story of sampson and delilah, where delilah is paid by the government to seduce sampson (a man of god) and tempt him to sin by telling her what gives him his inhuman strength. after three attempts, she is successful. sampson tells her that god gives him his strength through his hair. she then cuts his hair, which ultimately leads to his death. i mean what a bad bitch
she is still deeply unhappy even after she wraps goodneighbor around her finger because she still doesnt know who she is
she's skeptical of maxson's move to the commonwealth. she is very much on the run from him (and the bortherhood as a whole), and ham happily vets drifters for her to ensure theyre not undercover brotherhood before letting them into the bar.
she and maccready arent exactly "friends" but they harbor mutual respect for each other since they spend so much time together. mac had to call her off like a guard dog when winlock and barnes paid him a visit, so shes confident he would do the same if the brotherhood ever came knocking.
#WHEW LORE DUMP#mutuals and followers u r gonna MEET DELILAH and u r gonna LIKE IT ‼️‼️#shes not very nice but she would LOVE to be friends or frenemies or rivals with ur ocs!!!!!#she wont bite i prommy!!!!! it starts and ends in a garden.
i keep coming back to the good omens mianite AU so have a funky little illustration :] I just. I just love them a lot
Ref + what story I've thought about below the cut!
(Spoilers for Good Omens S1 and S2 ahead, be wary if you haven't watched and wanna get into it without prior knowledge)
At its core, this AU is basically good omens but with the cast of Mianite, with a few revisions to tie it a little into the mcytverse (while also not like compromising the integrity of the show version of the story) I got inspired by AdamMonter's AU and decided I wanted to give it a go myself after i watched S2 and reawakened my fixation :D
Jordan is this universes Aziraphale- the angel stationed to guard Eden and look out for humans (intended to instill in them the ways of goodness through righteous balance and justice in the name of the High Goddess) - and Tom is Crowley, or the snake in within the Garden, sent up to cause chaos and tempt humans towards evil shenanigans in the name of Dianite, or the devil in this case. They stand on two opposing sides of whats meant to be an all out war between Heaven (under Ianite) and Hell (by Dianite) on whether Ianites form of order (borrowing this from Aitheaca) or chaos will reign supreme- or basically the big ol apocalypse. I made Mianite the Metatron because idk what else to do with him mianite im sorry i didnt wanna make ianite the metatron if i swapped it even though it would make more sense for mia and dia to be fighting SOBS
Tom n Jordan grow close over their centuries on Earth together that when everythings meant to go down and destroy the world they've made their own, they fight to stop the apocalypse from happening, and by the end of it, are subsequently punished by their respective sides- only to not be affected and left alone when they seem to have absorbed the powers of the other (no one seems to realize they can swap bodies). Series 2 follows what they uncover by the end of it a plot to restart armageddon, in which they want Jordan to take over as the head of it after the former champion/supreme archangel is ousted for disagreeing- and had shown up with a non-existent memory nonexistent at Jordan's.
(im switching to list im done with prose xD)
Jordan runs an antique shop instead of a bookshop, he seems like he'd be more into little trinkets and old school machines, stuff he could tinker with. its still got that certain charm to it though
Capsize is Nina from the coffee shop (give me coffee or give me death seems like a thing Capsize would name something) and Sonja is Maggie who runs a record shop. aka the lesbians from across the street you know what I am
For something hilarious Tubbo is the Antichrist, aka the child meant to start and lead the War (leaving it as is bc its funny but not the literal antichrist) He's meant to join a government family to put him in a place of power, but due to a mix up ends up with an In the meantime, Tom and Jordan act as godfathers to the other child (who they assume is the antichrist, it would be funny to make this Crumb or something) in hopes that influencing them to good/evil respectively would neutralize them out- only to eventually realize its the wrong kid
Wag is Anathema, the descendent of a prophetic wizard who was scrutinized for their foresight and becomes the carrier of those prophecies (for my sanity ive chosen to get rid of the Newt-Anathema romance thing idk it. it just aaaa and turn into wag and his bros aka FyreUK tryin to use what they know to stop the apocalypse from their end)
Angels are Ianitees (save for Capsize), and Demons are Dianitees. Ive gone back n forth with who would be who and I still have no answer so. all I'll say is that Andor is Muriel thats all thats important /j C:
The other option was to make Satan the Darkness/World Historian and Dianite is the Lord of Hell (Beelzebub) with Mot as Gabriel but do i look like I know? idk do we need ineffable bureaucracy i could always alter that a little too... idk
tubbo as the child of the world historian who wouldve thought… edit what if like carrier of the darkness
anyway thats all enjoy this nonsense ;)
and screenshot I referenced for the drawing! I know its low qual dont worry about it i just needed to see where the trees were so i knew how many to paint LMAO

Three songs for Far Cry The Silver Chronicles, A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore and Life, Despair & Monsters. Also the last song is a song from Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, which I'm aware isn't fully out yet, so maybe SPOILERS! Avoid the last song if you care enough. Music below:
Nadi Sinclair, a sharpshooter amongst Task Force 141, is forced to go on the run with Soap and Price in the Call To Arms duology after killing Shepard and try their darnedest to put an end to Makarov once and for all (therefore running with the metaphorical wolves after the ultranationalist leader). Though alternatively, this could be after Call To Arms, where she joins up with the Project at Eden's Gate under Alexander Khaos and Jacob Seed's tutelage, where, she literally and figuratively runs with the wolves, away from society's expectations, technology and whatnot. Song below:
youtube
"Trick or treat, what would it be? I walk alone, I'm everything My ears can hear and my mouth can speak My spirit talks, I know my soul believes
But we're running out of time (Time, oh) All the echoes in my mind cry There's blood on your lies The sky's open wide There is nowhere for you to hide The hunter's moon is shining
I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves
A gift, a curse, they track and hurt Say can your dream, in nightmares seems A million voices silent screams Where hope is left so incomplete."
"cardigan" is a specific song that makes me think of Ortega "Ore" Brantley's final moments in The House Always On Top, as he stands in a dam that has an active nuclear warhead nearby, injured beyond belief, with one of his father's most dangerous spellcasters, Aggravor, keeping him in one place with nothing more than one hand touching his back, a fatal touch that would soon kill him whenever Aggravor chooses. And Ore reflects with what little time he has left on his loved ones, his companions, friends, family, mother, sister, the innocents killed by Urias under his watch, even the recent loss of Ryder, the Courier's presence being the cause of why he came to Hoover Dam in the first place if only because he saw a slim chance she survived and had to jump to it before it was too late. He thinks over his regret of not killing his father sooner, of being too late to save others, but also his accomplishments, over the fact his sister, and both of their students, had survived, and Ress had evolved far from the arrogant and immaturely entitled girl she started off as. And with that, when Ress finally enters the room, he makes sure to look upon her with pride, and knowing she won't be needing him anymore, verbally passes the torch to her. He has full confidence that she will end their father's blight even when Aggravor ends his life. This song can also be towards Ress as she loses her big brother, the one constant support in her life, the one person never willing to give up on her no matter how much of an ass she made of herself, the one person she thought she would walk the Earth with forever and ever due to their ageless immortality, so she would never be alone. Her big brother who took the roles of teacher, friend and father all in one, always there to guide and support her want for freedom (unlike Urias, who would have used her as a pawn), always there to say "I'll take it from here" whenever she messed up, whenever she needed help fighting. Which must be why Ore's last words, though reassuring, had hurt so much as well. Song below:
youtube
"To kiss in cars and downtown bars Was all we needed You drew stars around my scars But now I'm bleeding Cause I knew you stepping on the last train Marked me like a bloodstain, I, I knew you Tried to change the ending, Peter losing Wendy I, I knew you Leaving like a father, running like water When you are young they assume you know nothing But I knew you'd linger, like a tattoo kiss I knew you'd haunt all of my what-ifs The smell of smoke would hang around this long Cause I knew everything when I was young I knew I'd curse you for the longest time Chasing shadows in the grocery line I knew you'd miss me once the thrill expired And you'd be standing in my front porch light And I knew you'd come back to me You'd come back to me. And you'd come back to me. And you'd come back."
In The Thorned Crown of Iron Thrones, much like canon, Aegon II Targaryen isn't a good brother, nor is he a first son to be proud of (as evident by his father's absolute indifference with him and his mother's disappointment), even less a candidate to be a king of all things (sometimes he was thankful it was his half-sister who would sit the Iron Throne, though he knew that meant him and his younger siblings would be put to the sword, which was the only downside). He knew this to be true, everyone knew, even his own grandsire recognized more potential in Aemond even after his younger brother lost his eye. After the funeral of their older cousin Laena, after Aemond lost an eye to their half-sister's children for claiming a dragon which their deceased cousin had ridden on, after the arguments and screaming between everyone on both sides, for justice, for blood, for punishment, for some shred of care from the man who conceived them. And especially after hearing Corvus, the only older sibling that treated Aegon, his brothers, his sister, and his mother with more decency and kindness than their apathetic father and scornful half-sister (despite Corvus conviction to continue helping his adopted sister keep her claim), break down when father revealed the most damning and life-shattering secret about his "adopted" son (thanks Dad), Aegon couldn't handle it. Couldn't handle the shame, disappointment and hopelessness of the situation, so that night, he ran off. He ended up running off into Driftmark's woods, hoping that, maybe if he disappeared, everything would get better, that his half-sister that his father doted on more than Aegon and his siblings, or his younger brother who would do mother and his grandsire proud, or even their recently discovered half-brother, as merciful and decisive as he is (though Aegon highly doubted either father nor grandsire would allow it to happen), would sit the dreadful throne, be the ruler people wanted. Hell, he would even have Cecil to sit the throne, if it meant the self-proclaimed Royce woman would send her father, his terrifying uncle, to the Wall and marry off his siblings to noble houses willing to care for them. Not him. He wished to be forgotten, to curl up and shrink and shrink until he couldn't be seen anymore. He had not intended of coming across an ex-assassin woman who called herself Okkotsu, who had tried to murder his father back in the day and had a special connection with the recently deceased Laena. Nor had he foreseen them connecting with their troubles, through such unorthodox means. Okkotsu may not know what Aegon is exactly going through, but she knows enough to help lift his spirits up... through the power of accepting yourself as a sopping wet sad little meow-meow blorbo? [I'm not going to include all the lyrics, just the ones I find matter to these two downtrodden losers. Also LOTS-OH cursing here]
"So things look bad, and you're backs against the wall Your whole existence seems fuckin' hopeless You're feeling filthy as a dive bar bathroom stall Can't face the world sober and dopeless You've lost your way, you think your life is wrecked Well, let me just say you're correct!"
"Wait what?"
"You're a loser, baby A loser, goddamn baby You're a fucked-up little whiny bitch."
"Hey!"
"You're a loser just like me."
...
"This supposed to make me feel better?"
"There was a time I thought that no one could relate To the gruesome ways in which I'm damaged But lettin' walls down, it can sometimes set you straight! We're all living in the same shit sandwich."
...
"I'm a loser, honey A schmoozer and a dummy But at least I know I'm not alone."
"You're a loser."
"Just like me."
...
"I'm trapped and it gets worse with every hour."
"You're a loser, baby."
"A loser, but just maybe if we-"
"Eat shit together, things will end up differently."
"It's time to lose your self-loathin' Excuse yourself, let hope in, baby Play your card, be who you are."
"A loser, just like me."

Throwing my hat into the TADC theorist ring.
I've seen a theory floating around that the humans chose to be there because the world is bad/unlivable. This is based on the backrooms Pomni goes to and the ending shot in the real world looking old and dirty. I've also seen that it's almost universally accepted that the C&A stands for Cain (Caine) and Abel.
I'm not sure of Gooseworx's religious background, but these theories work together better than many of y'all may think. LONG Cain and Able explanation under the cut.
In the Bible, Adam and Eve were in the garden of Eden, where God told them not to eat from one tree. This was a form of worship. However, the devil came and tempted Eve, she ate the forbidden fruit, gave it to Adam, then everything was bad (Fun Fact: the wording of the text makes it seem that Adam was just. Standing there. For Eve's entire conversation with the Devil-Snake. Anyway.)
After they realized they were naked and made the first clothes out of leaves, God went to the garden, made them animal-skin clothes, and banished them from the garden, that way they wouldn't eat from a tree with immortality fruit and live in a sinful world forever. When he banished them, he gave them the first promise of the savior (Jesus!). This savior would free the world from sin, crushing the serpent's (Satan's) head.
After they left the garden, Adam and Eve had a son named Cain. His name literally means "Here he is!" They believed that God had given them the promised savior. Later, they had Abel, aka "The other one" (yes they named him that. Abel was the first middle child lmao).
Cain and Abel grew up. Cain gave God an offering of some of the food he had grown. Meanwhile, Abel gave God an offering of the best sheep from his herds. God favored Abel's offering because it was from the heart (Cain's offering was the equivalent of getting re-gifted something, and the person didn't even bother to wrap it). This caused Cain to become jealous and kill Abel.
This story has been passed around the fandom in it's simplified "Cain jealous. Murdered Able." version. However, I think the fact that Cain was originally thought to be the Savior could play an important role in the "TADC game is a way for humans to escape a world that has become unlivable". Cain / Caine is the "savior" of a fallen world that turns out not to be the savior, but something darker.
(Cain and Abel also have one other named brother, born after Abel's death and Cain's banishment. His name was Seth, but it doesn't seem important to TADC for now.)
(Adam and Eve obvs had other kids, we just don't hear about them in this story.)

Ok sorry I know you haven't used this account in ages but I need to answers
So like, alto is Satan right? And has been in a relation-situationship with kings dad right? But like... he's in a system that was born around the 1970's. And even then he came into that system when they were around their early 30's or late 20's. So like... what's up? Does francis or Ukulele know the actual Satan and made a alter that accurate? Or do they just have that strong of reality bending powers that they accidently made Satan an actual guy? Did feancis n Ukulele accidently rewrite the fabric of the universe to indulge in there self hatred?
How badly do you have to hate yourself to make literal fucking Satan real. Like I know the former is probably the most likely answer, but the latter is so fucking funny and devastating, I can't get over it
*wakes up from my coma*
Look all I know is Clef and King's dad was getting it and there is some bullshit biblical implications of the snake and apple of eden
Francis and Ukulele are just there for the horrible ride, I am not thinking of a coherent timeline of Clef as actual Satan dating a floating apple deity who is also his coworker's dad that went out to get milk and never came back cause that will melt what little brain I have

S1E1 - In the Beginning Write Up P1 - Introduction and The Garden
If you haven’t read it yet, I would encourage you to read my intro which covers a few points about my write ups. Otherwise, enjoy!
Where else to start than at the beginning of In the Beginning? There’s a lot of information being fired at the audience from a really early stage here – we have God as a narrator, God being (or at least sounding to be) a female figure, names of actual historical figures, and the confirmation of a date that will be referred to multiple times over the course of both series (4004 BC aka “6000 years ago”). However, the first thing that stood out for me here was the use of the Tadfield Advertiser and its headlines:
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that any time there’s something to read on the screen in this show, it’s worth stopping and taking note. In this instance, there’s a slight contradiction – if we are to understand that the newspaper is the one published on the day of the Earth’s creation, we should all have some pretty serious misgivings about R P Tyler’s background! Personally, I am interpreting the use of this particular newspaper as an opportunity to provide a couple of Easter Eggs to attentive viewers, rather than a literal representation of the daily news for the day of the Earth’s birth. What I do find interesting is that we have two headlines here that give a nod towards the maintenance of Tadfield in the condition that a certain Antichrist will come to know and love, and they might even go so far as to suggest that it’s his doing that the village is saved from having a motorway run through it in the same way that the weather is always perfect there. And who visits the runner up village of the year anyway? It’s a nice title but won’t exactly be drawing the crowds (or housing developers…) in for a closer look.
Moving on to something more obvious…
GOD: It starts, as it will end, with a garden.
…at which point we are presented with an overhead shot of the Garden of Eden. So we have the “starting” garden. The “ending” garden will presumably become obvious at the end. Which brings me to the next puzzling element of God’s statement. What exactly does she mean by “it”? This story? Life on earth? Warlock’s 11th birthday party? I think we can safely assume that “it” (in this context at least) isn’t the last of those options. Spoiler alert - the book’s final scene does indeed play out in a garden but the same cannot be said of the show (yes, I know there is a scene in a “garden”, and that Crowley makes a direct reference to it whilst sitting in it, but that isn’t the final scene of the show. More on that scene in the episode 6 write up), so what exactly is “it” in this context? Does it suggest that there is something yet to come that will end in a garden? Honestly I’m not convinced that there is anything in this other than it being a nice way to start a show with the idea that the audience would have a nice rounded finish to the series (and given that there was no promise of a season 2, let alone a season 3, at the time the first series was made, that’s not out of the question), but it does provide the Sherlocks amongst us to claim a potential Clue for what’s to come in later seasons.
We are now presented with the only time we ever see Crowley as an actual serpent, despite the number of times he is referred to as a snake.
I suspect this was done for two reasons:
To form part of Crowley’s story and character arc.
For the audience to understand that his eyes, which will later become a pretty important characteristic, are modelled on his serpentine form.
The latter point amounts to a matter of aesthetics at this point in time of the episode. Expanding on the former point, the introduction of Crowley as THE original temptation and the cause of the “downfall” of humanity should have the audience paint him with quite a heavy tar. However, we see very quickly the conflict he feels at the consequences of his actions, which not only provides comedy but allows us to form a bond with him from the outset. As far as he was concerned, he was only going to “cause some trouble” but perhaps more importantly for his character, he believes people should be given a second chance (“Bit of an overreaction if you ask me. First offence and everything.”). This response could be seen to tie directly into his own personal downfall (aka Fall), particularly when combined with his opinions on having knowledge (“I can’t see what’s so bad about knowing the difference between good and evil, anyway.”) – we will come to discover later that he considers his asking questions of the Almighty (seeking of knowledge) to have contributed heavily to the reasons for his Heavenly expulsion.
I have also considered the huge amount of responsibility that Hell would have placed on him in giving him this task. We will see that happen multiple times across both seasons – Crowley is given jobs that have immense consequences (destruction of Job important enough? How about delivery of the Antichrist?) but he appears to have little importance in the hierarchy of Hell – we will later discover that Hastur is a Duke of Hell and outranks Crowley. This does strike me as strange but I am not (yet) at the point where I think that there is anything in this other than convenient story-telling. Note: Crowley’s Angel status (prior to his Fall) is another matter and will be discussed in a later post.
As this scene plays out, this would appear to be the first time of meeting for the angel and demon, and on first watching, there’s nothing inaccurate about this. With the full knowledge of series 2 however, we are presented with some notables about their first exchange. If we are to understand that both Aziraphale and Crowley were sent to Earth at the time of its creation, this would likely be the first time these two beings have met in their opposing angel and demon forms (I cannot see how they could have seen each other after Crowley’s Fall). Is Crawly/Crowley so unrecognisable in this scene from his original angel form that Aziraphale wouldn’t remember him? It’s possible, given that millions of years could have passed between their starlit meeting and this exchange on the garden wall. Perhaps Aziraphale only asks for Crawly/Crowley’s name because he doesn’t know what his demon name now is? After all, we have no idea what his angel name was prior to his disgrace. Personally I feel like the latter is more likely – the talk between these two seems far to congenial for this to be a first-time-of-meeting conversation, particularly given that they are supposed to be adversaries (and that’s without taking into consideration the exchange we see play out in the first episode of season 2 – I think it’s made clear that Aziraphale will not be forgetting that angel any time soon…). Despite the friendly tone of the conversation, it’s made clear to us that Aziraphale’s opinion of Crawly is pretty black-and-white – he automatically believes that Crawly will do bad things purely because he is a demon. This serves well to lay the foundations for his character development. That said, we see Aziraphale looking to impress the demon with his knowledge and, what he appears to hope, is an impressive grasp of language. This is also the first time we hear Aziraphale use the I-word – we heard God using it during the philosopher-palooza of the introduction and its placement in this scene shows that as an audience we should understand that Aziraphale is following his script quite nicely, thank you.
And so we move into what I believe, and many others I think, is the first hint of flirting between these two.
It’s pretty obvious that Crawly is doing all the work here, whilst Aziraphale seems pretty oblivious to the attention he’s getting. I’ll discuss parallels and contrasts with the beginning of season 2 when I get to that episode. What I find interesting about Crawly’s interactions here is that he’s clearly been watching Aziraphale prior to this meeting – he knows about the flaming sword. Not only does he know about it, he seems downright disappointed to see that he no longer has it. I totally read that as a sign that the sword, at this point at least, has contributed pretty heavily towards Crawly’s attraction. I’m not going to go into the fairly obvious double entendre possibilities that could be explored through the use of a “flaming sword” here – I do not wish to descend into smut (yet) - so I’ll just leave this here:
If Crawly’s attraction starts with a flaming sword, it’s cemented with the knowledge that it was given away. Crawly’s expression when he discovers that the angel gave the sword to a needy young couple, acting of his own free will and putting their needs (or humanity’s) ahead of Heaven’s rather hollow wishes is priceless – surprise and amusement and not just a hint of smitten.
I like to think he’s already placed the angel on a pretty high pedestal here, not least because he might actually have found another being that thinks along the same lines as him – different from the other beings, and having something that resembles a conscience, which Aziraphale shows with his discomfort at the potential consequences of God’s actions in throwing Adam and Eve out of the Garden. But he’s not done with the flirting just yet – there’s still one last opportunity for him to pay the angel a compliment with an undertone of sarcasm that goes completely over Aziraphale’s head.
I love the way David delivers this line – the tone he uses and the little hint of a smile that plays around one side of his mouth. It’s just a second or so of film but for those of us paying attention, you can’t miss the playfulness in it. I don’t mind saying I’d give my right arm (or maybe someone else’s…) to have a man that looked like that speak to me like that! Too bad Aziraphale is totally oblivious to the undertone and just gives him a heartfelt thank you.
And so to the end of the Garden scene. I don’t think I need to dwell too much on how adorable the wing shelter is. What I will say is that it’s notable Crawly doesn’t ask but Aziraphale knows he needs it and gives him what he needs without argument or dissent. This hidden communication thread will run throughout the series, in varying degrees of obviousness and I do think it’s interesting that we are introduced to the idea that the couple can understand and interpret each other’s thoughts and needs at the appropriate time so early on.

I did the first two wings of the Pandemonium raid series.
I think Asphodelos is the less interesting wing narratively and more interesting wing gameplay-wise while Abyssos is the more interesting wing narratively, but has the less interesting fights overall.
Out of everything Endwalker did, I've seen the most negativity on the savage version of the Abyssos tier (people seem to *hate* P7S) and I think looking at the normals, I actually was disappointed by P7N because it looked so unique in terms of the arena in any footage I saw of it and in the end that unique arena didn't seem to end up mattering at all on a gameplay level.
I think P6N and P7N both felt underwhelming, really, but P8N wasn't far behind, either.
All three kind of were just really basic AoE dodging fights and felt strangely incomplete.
It's really wierd.
It felt like I was back doing some of the Alexander stuff, where some bosses just sort of fell over. And Omega and Eden didn't really have any of those in my eyes.
I say this because I think P5N is a really cool, complete-feeling fight with a strong identity: the use of shields on the quadrants, a cool transition, neat dodging.
P1-P4 are all also pretty neat. P1 had the crystals and triangle-dodging, P2 the sewers and head and body, P3 is probably the weakest, but it still at least had the phoenix stuff even if it was from other fights and P4 had the elemental effects with Pinax and the whole theater theme.
It's so wierd to feel underwhelmed by fights like this cause technically P6-P8 had their own thing going, P7 had that really cool arena, P6 had the snake debuff, P8 the transformations.
I think it actually are the dreaded massive hitboxes (which is another thing people seem to be annoyed about) that make it underwhelming because you can basically hit the boss from anywhere, so, as I said, that cool arena in P7 doesn't really matter because you can hit the boss from basically anywhere, so you don't have to think about positioning much and in turn hitting the boss doesn't feel as satisfying.
But as I said, all of them also feel wierdly incomplete. I feel like P8 suffers from this the most because it's the final fight and I feel it just kind of "ends". P4N feel like a very complete end, with mechanics gradually complicating, but P8 never seemed to do that.
It feels like all of them needed more time in the oven, so to speak, which is so interesting because it's really rare I've felt like this about a piece of content in this game.
I want to run them a few more times, to think about this issue a little bit more.
But to talk about the story a little bit, I really like the theme of burying your problems and the negative feelings within you that is developed throughout it.
Lahabrea's arc is entirely about him burying his issues in the most literal way you can think of: he cuts the bad stuff out of himself and seals it away and the embodiment of all of those parts, which also has festered on its own for a while, comes back to cause him and everyone else around him issues.
It's such a good alternative exploration and elaboration of the ancients' tendency to not address their issues, particularly anything emotional. In particular, I think the narrative is a really good companion' to Hermes' and his frustrations with the society of the ancients.
And it all ends with Lahabrea confronting the embodiment of all of the negative, unhealthy feelings within him and then finally opening up to his son and being direct and honest with him.
Awesome!
Except Pandemonium is now in the Aetherial Sea in the present.
I love that our actions actually had a negative effect this time around.
And I love that you can actually see it when you go down into the Atiascope.
It's such a good cliffhanger because it opens up so many possibilities and thus a whole bunch of speculation opportunity.

Pre fall /creation headcanons dump
———————-
If I’m understanding the show right the arch angels are the ones who created life right ?
—- Lucifer had a grand idea for the new life to be like a giant circus Before circus’s were a thing a place of pure light and joy and maybe a few dark elements to spice things up and have fun.
—— wanted to try and find a way to combine the pure light and that new dark corner he found one day to create something amazing.
— created ducks for Eden , one of the arch angels made snakes for him and he embodied himself into one
- Lucifer then as a thank your for the friend and gift created alligators and crocodiles .
- he made geese cause of course geese come from him
- he had a pre drawn idea for swamps but fell before it could be fully made .
— was always curious and asking questions .
— got in trouble a lot for his questioning and pranks .
— was very close to his twin Michael despite their personalities being different .
- had Brilliant gold wings that he would take care of zealously .
- created both the accordion and Kazzo on the same day. ( everyone disliked that )
— loved to create instruments and sing , he was an Angel of music after all.
- made an electric guitar based on a weird dream it was neither approved nor disapproved so it hung in limbo for years till humans got the idea to make one. ( yes he’s salty Adam had his prototype )
— was excited about dogs but never got to see one .
— he was the wayward oldest .
— he fell first for Lilith ( literally and figuratively )
— he would sneak into the garden when it wasn’t his turn to guard it just to see her and talk to her .
— he was one of the creator’s best soldiers before leaning more towards the creation side of heaven .
— Michael and him would often spar Eve though Michael would always take things a bit to far .
- created the consolations and comets.

[II] 6, [III] 4, [IV] 1, 3, and 7, for Molly!
What were their ambitions in life? How has this changed?
It's bold to assume Molly had any particular ambitions. I mean, she did, but ambition isn't something that a Bratovich often has, and her ambitiousness often was limited to being able to be useful in a good hunt, something like that. In a way, she never expected... this. She spent her life working around the territory, doing hard physical labor, farming, and hunting. and also, you know, cutting apart bodies or whatever unsavory shit she had to do, but that's par for the course. Now that she's a vampire, though, Molly certainly does have ambitions, but they're oddly like... docile and peaceful, considering what she is. See, Molly's taken to being an Abbot really well, and she likes the work it entails. She takes pride in providing for her pack. It feels good to be able to ensure nobody goes hungry. So she's got this domesticity to her that's probably actually very hard to pick up on, but the fact that she knows everyone's personal blood tastes... she knows her stuff. So I suppose it's a matter of no ambition to the ambition of "being the best Abbot she can be and being a sabbat kind of homemaker." Do they have a coterie?
Molly has a pack! She's the second newest member of the pack, with the newest addition being a hunter who tried to kill her (the Garden Snakes have a sense of humor, and they really enjoy targeting hunters who fail their job). Among the pack, Molly is still finding her footing. She's the abbot, but there's a sense that that happened almost by accident/expectation; Beatrix certainly would have just assumed the Bratovich knew how to keep a good house, given that the Bratoviches are Tzimisce revenants. ... even if the house is unconventional. ... and has a lot of strange things in it that are bloody. And bear traps laying around. and- So Molly really looks up to all the senior members of her pack. There's no question that she's slept with Beatrix, given the Cathari's generally promiscuous nature and also I mean, Beatrix would have 100 percent have railed some uppity Tzimisce's revenant even before Molly got turned. Eden is probably super intimidating and Molly has like, these weird feelings mostly caused by the usual repression of someone from her area. But she respects them both. Dawson and Molly probably got into more than a few arguments, solely because they're ... i mean, dude's a Knight. But Molly gets along with him now and appreciates his steady presence. it helps that he's probably the least picky eater in the entire group, next to Beatrix. Molly doesn't have to stress much about providing in that regard.
Lavinia scares her but fascinates her. She's seen Lavinia rip out someone's spine. so it's like. "hey, you scare me, but your whole dedication is cool too." meanwhile she and Elodie literally tried to kill one another and now they cant look one another in the eye because they're bonded very closely. it's literally like a mid 2000s yuri anime up in here with the amount of [looks eachother in the eye] [gets flustered] [looks away/someone storms out] that goes on. it's unhinged. it's next level. Molly rips someone's neck out and Elodie looks at her and the scene slows down and its like YOURE THE MEANING IN MY LIFE YOU'RE THE INSPIRAAAATIONNNN. they may as well be in a girl's love catholic school anime with the amount of unresolved tension between them. Thoughts on the Camarilla? Molly thinks they're dumb as hell because they don't use revenants. but also because they're literally creating their own problems! why are they killing their neonates? and this is when i tell you that Molly knows literally nothing about the Camarilla that isn't tainted in some way by the point of view of her sire, Gulo, or of her family, or of her pack. Molly literally thinks that all camarilla princes kill new vampires because they can. she thinks that the camarilla wants to domesticate humans into like, house pets. and also uhhh you know there's the whole "the camarilla is out here gargling the antediluvian's balls" so yknow. that's not great either. she's not a fan but the funny thing is she actually doesn't know dick about the real camarilla, and everything she does know is ... skewed and slightly to the left, turned 90 degrees. Thoughts on the Sabbat? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS7mk-UtdjQ THEY ARE NUMBER ONE! Thoughts on Garou? SO THIS IS GOING TO BE INTERESTING. LOL. So-- for those of you who only know werewolf, i need to explain something about the revenant family that Molly comes from. The Bratoviches are ... hunters. Like, jason voorhees, texas chainsaw massacre horror movie slasher killers. ... the Tzimisce like to use them to hunt garou. It's a lethal thing, and a lot of them do die. But the thing is, they're good. At it. A Bratovich worth their salt knows how to contribute to the hunt. And Molly got turned because she was the one who killed a Garou on their land. Sure, it was just a Black Spiral Dancer off their shit, but Molly is the one who landed the killing shot with that silver bullet, and that's why Gulo turned her. So molly... she thinks of the Garou as threats, but the thing is, it's not the same raw horror that other Cainites feel. Molly? Molly knows a werewolf's weaknesses. she knows about their rages, and she knows about silver, and she knows that if you can catch one alone and you think smart... you can take them down. Garou are terrifying to other people, and Molly doesn't disrespect them, mind. But she thinks of Garou as dangerous animals, as apex predators that she is capable of hunting. She feels a thrill when she's laying a trap for a Garou. She's never going to face one head on without ample preparation, mind. She's not a fucking idiot. But at the same time, a Garou who postures at her will find that Molly is a lot smarter than she looks, and she always carries silver bullets. One of her firearms is always ready for a Garou. so it's this thing where molly isn't going to start a needless fight, but Molly is also keenly aware of their dangers... and is still aware that she can kill them. She just has to be careful. You're not going to catch her picking a fight with a pack -- but you might be able to find the aftermath of Molly having found a little way to worm herself into the armor of a Garou's defense and lay a devastating trap. She knows what makes them angry. so... i guess it's respect, fear, and anticipation all at once.

Logan bringing him flowers dead in the middle of his sunday school and the kids giggle cause DUH, kurts trying to act all chill and cool but his tail wont stop wagging.
"Oh... Mr. Howlett... What a lovely suprise," he says, as if this man wasn't balls deep in him last night.
"Yeah well.. I picked these for you."
"From Mrs. Munroe's garden? My my.. havent you heard about taking from Eden?"
"This aint an apple, Elf. They're flowers. And ill deal with Mrs. Munroe when she figures it out. You just admire how similar the two of you are."
"Cause theyre blue I presume?"
"Cause theyre beautiful"
Father wagner is now coughing and nervously trying to hide his giggles. He has to grab his tail to keep it from wrapping logan, and still in his hand it wiggles.
"I see- well... I have a class to attend."
He says, when half the students are literally watching them like a tv drama.
"Alright then.. see you later. I got some things I need to confess." And he just walks off like this wasnt the hottest thing on earth. And now, stuttering, Logan holds the flowers the rest of class. "O-okay students. Todays lesson is about t-Temptation. Can anyone tell me about the snake in the garden?"
"You sure it wasn't a wolf in the garden Father Wagner?" One of his trouble children ask.
"I-im certain it was a snake.." His face is purple.
There are two types of Logurt /Nightwolves shippers.
There's those who make them do the nastiest things you've ever to the point Kurt stops caring about the religious community will think of him and they can't keep their hands (and tail) off of each other because "It's not a sin if I never marry" (seeing as they aren't allowed to marry anyway)
And then there are those who imagine the most passionate yet celibate relationship riddled with the most non sexual (okay, maybe a bit, but it never goes too far) Body worshipping I've ever read with such reassurances that despite their sins and misfortune, Kurt loves just as how he was meant to.
Neither involve Kurt trying to preasure Logan into believing, and neither invovle preasuring Kurt into anything he's not comfortable with either.
Both involve Kurt questioning his status and feeling guilt, even if just a thought.
Sometimes, it invovles them to adopt a lot of teenage girls together.
Sometimes, it invovles ethical Polyamory on Logan's end.
And SOMETIMES- If you're lucky- it involves Logan bringing kurt flowers in the middle of his sunday school lesson and the students knowing Logan by name and laughing as he embarrasses their youth pastor by grabbing his face and kissing him all over until his face looks purple and shoos him away giggling.
"Today's lesson- Temptation."

songs that would describe your relationship with the seven brothers
because im a gay little nerd
Lucifer: Take Me to Church
you cant tell me you didn’t see this one coming. This song talks about a love that the church disapproves of, that to them is shrouded in sin. It’s deep with an intense rhythm, and filled with yearning.
“The only heaven I’ll be sent to is when I’m alone with you”
“I’ll tell you my sins, and you can sharpen your knife”
“There is no sweeter innocence than our gentle sin”
Mammon: Jackie and Wilson
god I love this song. The POV is from someone who had a one-night stand and promptly fell in love with them, going as far as to plan out their entire future together. Mammon falls for you hard and fast, and he’s definitely picked out names for your future children.
“She’s gonna save me, call me baby, run her hands through my hair”
“With my mid-youth crisis all said and done, I need to be youthfully felt 'cause, God, I never felt young”
“Happy to lie back and watch it burn and rust; we tried the world, good God, it wasn’t for us”
Leviathan: Like Real People Do
a cute little love song for the cute little snake boy!!! But seriously, it’s canon that Levi feels like less than a person, isolated and locked away. And yet, here you come; finding him hiding in his room and loving him for who he is.
“I will not ask you why you were creeping. In some sad way, I already know.”
“I will not ask you where you came from, I will not ask and neither should you”
“Honey just put your sweet lips on my lips, we should just kiss like real people do”
Satan: Shrike
Y’all know I had to pick the most romantic song for the most romantic boy. This song starts off by saying he couldn’t tell you he loved you earlier, but is ready to do so now. It also has a lot of lines about him giving his entire being to you, as you’ve made him a better person.
“I couldn’t utter my love when it counted. Ah, but I’m singin’ like a bird about it now”
“I had no idea on what ground I was founded...then when I met you, my virtues uncounted, all of that goodness is gone with you now”
“I was houses by your warmth, thus transformed”
Asmodeus: Would That I
This song is about leaving your past lovers/heartbreaks behind and focusing on your current love. I think that fits perfect for Asmo and you; he’s never really been in love before, but he’s not afraid of being tied down to you. He’s ready to leave his escapades in the past and give himself wholly to you.
“With the war of the fire, my heart moves to its feet....feel it soft and pure as snow, fell in love with the fire long ago”
“I was fixed on your hand of gold, lay in waste of of my lovin’ long ago”
“Oh, you’re good to me, baby”
Beelzebub: Work Song
This song is so wholesome, so domestic, so genuine, so Beelzebub. It’s all about love and adoration, how he doesn’t need anything but his lover, how he’s devoted to them forever. Also the line “I’m so full of love, I could barely eat” is literally JUST HIM.
“My baby’s sweet as can be; she gives me toothaches just from kissin’ me”
“I swear I thought I dreamed her; she never asked me once about the wrong I did”
“When I was kissing on my baby...heaven and hell were words to me”
Belphegor: From Eden
God. This man. This song. This was made for Belphegor; it’s about atonement and forgiveness from sin, about being in awe of the one you love... you should look this up just to read the lyrics, I’m resisting the urge to copy & paste all of it down and go line-by-line explaining how this song is HIM.
“There’s something lonesome about you, something so wholesome about you. Get closer to me”
“Innocence died screaming. Honey, ask me, I should know.” dont @ me for this line it’s TRUE
“I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door”

Hey Mars, thank you for the last chapter ! It was good as always !!
I have one question: what is your Bill!Loki like ? :o I know you mentioned him as Lucifer too and im still not over how well that lore works (plus confirmed by the simpsons lmao)
Take care !
Yes we have a freakin trickster god icon on our hands… And Jesus XD
I also love that google’s first suggestion for Loki is literally this… “a cunning trickster who has the ability to change his shape and sex” Which is also too perfect??? Like did Alex mean to open this multi-verse, multi-mythology can of Alaskan Bull Worms? Idk but I like to believe he’s a reincarnation of Bill too i.e. he knew what he was doing.
AnD cAn We TaLk AbOuT hOw LoKi iS AsSoCiAtEd WiTh ThE rUnE ᛒ (B for Bill hehe) which is represented by birch! As in Axolotl’s poem referencing: Watches from with in birch trees?!!!
Lmaaaao not this actually being the real reason I studied comparative religion.
Bjarkan er laufgrønstr líma; Loki bar flærða tíma - Birch has the greenest leaves of any shrub; Loki was fortunate in his deceit
To be honest, I think I lack the most knowledge in Norse mythology. Greek and Roman is where I mainly found my interests as a kid and I got some Christianity and Judeo-Christianity under my belt so I can argue with those special relatives. For divination I mostly use tarot, though I do own a few sets of runes that I try to pick up from time to time.
I think it’s very interesting too, you have mention of Æsir or Jötunn which I guess are like gods and giants? It reminds me a lot of Judaism and Islam where angels would mate with giants and create offspring known as nephilim which were djinn or demons. In Judaism they are also called fallen angels.
You’ll see this alignment with Eve and the garden of Eden and the apple as well.
There is the garden of Eden and then you have Idun, The Norse goddess of spring (life/plant life) and apples/fruit, meant for the gods that provided immortality.
Then you have apples/figs being used as the device that caused Adam and Eve to be exiled from the garden.
Adam and Eve were the first two humans (poor Lilith) which are eerily similar sounding to Ask and Embla, Norse’s first two humans.
On the tree of knowledge you have the snake/dragon either seen as Lilith or Lucifer/devil tempting Eve and at the bottom of Yggdrasil you have the dragon entity, Nidhogg as well. This could be associated with the devil as a punisher like character that tortures or feeds on corpses of damned souls in hel/hell. Hel being the daughter of Loki (ayyyy we back on track).
I guess I’ve never really thought about what Bill would look like visually as Loki. I guess just as close to Norse myth. Same with attitude. In my story, when Bill calls upon Ax is reincarnated, Ax always gives him a choice. He can try again as Bill, a form that is kind of Bill’s main identity or he can create a new reality and reincarnate there as a different god, creating these different mythological dimensions which humans/prophets tune into and bam there’s your religion and Bill’s your uncle… and literally everything else. So he’s all knowing, but he also can’t recall everything from these fractured forms because Ax can see an OP character coming from a mile a way and needs to add some restrictions. These other forms Bill takes, like Loki, would remember very little of Bill except for Déjà vu and therefore I just imagine them like how it’s written in myth. I am in love with the idea that Bill is the force that propels these mythologies forward, each time he burns a world, he’s forced to take a new form and in a weird si-fi logic way, that’s how we get religions.
I think it fits so well because all religions have influenced one another in some way and so we get these really specific things aligning in beliefs that seem completely different. A fun (but totally nerdy) game to play is to start out with one religion and compare it to another and then another and see how far away you can get from the original. The end product still will loop back into the first one in some way.
Also on Jan 8th we say goodbye to Xolotl our evening star and welcome Lucifer the morning star as Venus takes her inferior conjunction spot in the dawning sky. You go Aphrodite!
Hopefully that answers ur Q… probably more than you wanted to know woops 😅 Also thanks for the chapter feedback! Glad it went ok!
