Before Ryuji could begin to panic, a familiar voice shattered his thoughts, and he whipped around on automatic, and just as automatically reached out to catch Sophia as she slammed into him with all of the enthusiasm of an AI in her rare physical form.

“You’re here!” She beamed, still clinging to his neck with all of her strength.

Ryuji answered automatically, “Well, yeah, ‘course I’m here.”

Then his brain caught up with his mouth. “Wait, wait, back up. Where’s ‘here’?”

Every now and then, Leanne tilts her head towards the sky, smiling to herself–but when Elincia looks for herself, she sees nothing, and can only shrug. Perhaps Leanne is simply admiring the beautiful weather?

Rafflesia was a small flower shop situated in a corner of Port Island Station. Ever since the Board Chairman asked him to take care of the garden at the dormitory rooftop, Makoto had found himself frequenting the shop. He wasn’t the best at gardening—he couldn’t even tell weed from sprouts—but the florist, Chisato-san, had all been too happy to teach him everything he needed to know when he first came to check out her store. From the types of soil to the kinds of seeds, the differing amount of water and sunlight that various plants needed to grow. It was enlightening, to say the least. He wouldn’t say he was any good even after the personal tutoring, but gardening was still a decent distraction, somewhat.
