i understand it has to be very reduced for the sake of being able to study all units in a lifetime but the unit on prerroman iberia is kinda pissing me off
#look. there's good stuff#thankfully they say 'indoeuropeans' instead of celts cause the term 'celt' is problematic and also the lusitanians arent celts#and they don't just say 'there were iberians in the mediterranean celts in galicia and celtiberians in the rest' like in school textbooks#they actually go into detail with a lot of stuff#which kinda makes me more pissed off cause you went into all of this trouble and there's no mention of the vasconians ?????#or the fact that they weren't indoeuropean ????#the closest thing they say is that the basque country was influenced by aquitanian groups#EXACTLY BECAUSE THE VASCONIANS WERE AQUITANIANS#the way it's worded and structured makes them seem closer to the cantabrians which is just wild. and objectively wrong#also - and this is my biggest gripe with this text - THERE'S NO MENTION OF TARTESSOS#ZERO#NOTHING#THEY EVEN CORRECTLY STATE THERE WEREN'T IBERIANS IN WESTERN ANDALUSIA#WHY#anyways. fun times <3#can't wait to get pissed at the next unit (roman hispania)
