what's most jarring about s7 (mediocre dialogue and storytelling aside) is the camerawork and especially THE CLOSEUPS
#not one closeup in six seasons of asp she leaves and suddenly it's closeups galore#in the scene where lane tells rory she's pregnant? awful it really takes me out of it#i'm kidding about the dialogue and storytelling being an aside because it's not like you can ignore that but i think s7 is watchable like i#don't skip it when i rewatch even though well like i said the storytelling and dialogue are not as good as before like at all#can you imagine it's actually a fan's worst nightmare like do i kinda hate asp sometimes yes for sure what fan doesn't hate the creator of#their show a little but the creator and writer who oversees literally everything leaving before what would turn out to be the last season#because of negotiations with the network and studio executives or whatever...😕 and then making Her version of a s7 10 years later that#isn't nearly as good as it would've been in 2006/7😕#i would've loved to see asp wrap up the christopher/lorelai sleeping together plotline. but also like i said the other day thank god the#actual show didn't end with rory saying mom i'm pregnant. evil woman#gilmore girling
