hello!!! this may get a bit long so i’m very sorry about that, but are there planned to be any shows in the near(ish) future? and if there are, would they be local (sf/bay area area?) or would they be farther out? i was so happy finding out you guys are based in cali (i’m also in cali!! closer to the sacramento area but yk same thing) and i would love to come see some of your stuff live <3333 thank you all for writing these amazing songs and having such an amazing vibe, your band has truly made my life better. your music is so so so so comforting and makes me so happy. it’s always going to be good feelings thinking about the songs. thank you so much for doing what you do and i hope i have the opportunity to see you guys live at some point <3

Hi!! Sorry not sure when you asked but just seeing this now. Thank you so much for your kind words, and we would love to see you at a show sometime!

Most of the shows we play are in the immediate SF Bay Area. We could definitely be better about promoting our shows ahead of time, but in general our Instagram is where we tend to announce shows most consistently. We've actually got two coming up this weekend: Friday 3/29 at Baltic Kiss in Richmond, and Sunday 3/31 at Tamarack in Oakland.

We've played shows a little further afield before (Stockton, Reno, some private festivals in Northern California), and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that we'll play more in the future. (In an ideal world, we'd put together a little California tour at some point in the next year or so, but there are six of us and we all have day jobs, so scheduling something like that definitely involves some logistical complications!) That being said, if y'all know of any good small-to-medium sized venues near you that might be looking for bands to book, feel free to let us know. <3

The No Doubt reunion, largely negotiated in late December and early January, would turn out to be easier and more straightforward than Sublime and the Talking Heads.

It was Tollett who initiated talks with Stefani’s manager, Irving Azoff, about the idea. The discussion with bandmates dragged out longer than expected as talks delved into band business outside of the reunion, but eventually, the group agreed to reunite in large part because of its long relationship with Goldenvoice, who promoted some of the band’s first shows. The $10 million payday would be significant for bandmates Adrian Young, Tony Kanal and Tom Dumont, whose current band, DREAMCAR, is led by AFI singer Davy Havoc and booked to play Goldenvoice’s Cruel World festival in May.

For her part, Stefani was already booked to play Cali Vibes in February when she agreed to play Coachella. A source close to Stefani tells Billboard not to expect a major No Doubt tour to follow the one-time reunion set, as she already has plans in place for the second half of the year to promote new solo music she plans to release this summer.

Gwen goes to a lot of Blake’s concerts because she can hop on stage and perform their country duets to a country crowd. Until they had Purple Irises Blake couldn’t do the same for a pop crowd. (That may be one reason why he wanted to be on it). Since PI he’s performed it with her everywhere including Cali Vibes festival. He’s helped her promote it in every way possible too including to country outlets. That’s called support. Blake does more songs and concerts than Gwen so she has more opportunities for that kind of support. It’s not a contest and Blake and Gwen aren’t keeping score because they feel supported by one another. We don’t need to try to keep score either. That’s not how marriage works.

i LOVE yertle triolgy (for sure one of my top songs i wish they'd play again). something so sexy about a funky funky 13 minute jam where yertle the turtle segues into freaky styley which segues into a funkadelic jam which segues into untitled #2. every second goes SO hard with that specific cali era energy, just immaculate vibes tbh

Blake Shelton And His Wife, Gwen Stefani To Drop Heartfelt Duet, 'Purple Irises,' Ahead Of Valentine’s Day - Country Now

Love is in full bloom for Blake Shelton and his wife, Gwen Stefani who just announced that they have a new love-filled duet coming this Friday, February 9.

Taking to social media on Monday (Feb. 5), the couple revealed that the romantic tune titled “Purple Irises” will be released just in time for Valentine’s Day. Their recent joint post included the cover photo which boasts a retro theme as Stefani and Shelton both sport all-denim looks while looking giddy in the brightly colored living room setting. The country star appears to be plucking his guitar while his other half admires him from the bright yellow striped couch. The background décor features hanging wall art of purple irises to match the name of the song. 

Stefani Shares A Teaser of The New Tune

Fans got to hear a sneak peek of the mid-tempo tune through a several clips posted to Stefani’s TikTok account. The pair are seen in the studio, and building out a string of effortless harmonies while celebrating how strong their love is for one another.

“If someone comes along and tries to love you like I love you/ Don’t know what I’d do/ Don’t want to lose you/ If someone comes along and tries to take you, tries to make you/ Don’t let them change your mind/ Wonder why you took a risk/ On a broken heart you cannot fix/ No I never knew a love like this/ Now we’re picking purple irises,” Stefani and Shelton sing on the chorus. 

In her caption, she simply wrote “… now we’re picking purple irises 🪻,” while in the comment section added, “we love u guys so excited to share w u 💜💜💜💜💜 gx.”

The pop star was not included in the 2024 panel of coaches, however, fans will have the chance to see her on the stage of several festival this year including Cali Vibes, Coachella, Lovers & Friends and more. Plus, in January, she teased plans to reunite with her former bandmates of the rock band, No Doubt, for an upcoming show. Stefani has yet to share when or where this performance will take

As for Shelton, he’s gearing up to embark on his highly anticipated Back To The Honky Tonk Tour. The 17-date trek launches on February 22 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and will run through March 29 in Wichita, Kansas. The upcoming tour is the follow-up to his 2023 run of the same name.

This year, Shelton will be joined on the tour by Dustin Lynch and Emily Ann Roberts.

Shelton To Return To Oklahoma For Hometown Show

Following the final date of the tour, the Oklahoma native will return to his home state on Saturday, March 30 for a supersized concert to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum and its education programs.

Shelton will bring his live show to the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the star-studded All for the Hall concert. Joining the Grand Ole Opry member will be Country Music Hall of Fame member Ronnie Dunn, Tony and Emmy Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth, ACM and CMA nominee Wade Hayes and fan-favorite songwriters/performers The Swon Brothers. Additional artists will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.   

All proceeds from the show will go to the nonprofit museum’s education initiatives, which directly served more than 230,000 people through in-person and virtual programs in 2023.

HAHAHA this is such a good one omg. we gotta start with a cowboy hat (i have a black and a white one depending on the vibes) a good coat (either my levi's trucker or my black trenchcoat) then a fun tshirt and some nice trousers and boots. alternatively if its too hot, cowboy hat, BRIGHT BRIGHT hawaiian shirt, jeans and a pair of hightops. this is the barebones of every outift ive ever worn and how i dress daily because i am constantly kicking ass and taking names
