#cackling at twitter is twittering like they'd turn a hard launch into “oh it's pazzi shippers holding them at gunpoint”

the domesticity of pazzi lately got me feeling like paige could absolutely propose after this coming season. like she'll be on the highest of highs after they win the natty ofc and she's lowk been thinking about it for a while and suddenly she just can't help herself, like this one more thing would be the cherry, the icing, and the sprinkles on top.

like my DELULU scenario would be: immediately after the natty win when they're hugging the lights out of each other, paige just spits out those four words and azzi thinks she's playing but then quickly realizes that paige is being dead serious with the biggest stupidest grin on her face. but before azzi has a chance to answer, they get engulfed by their teammates and then it's kinda forgotten for the rest of the night as they go on to celebrate the win.

then as they're back in their hotel room (whoever paige/azzi is rooming with crashes in another room) at like 3 or 4am and they're about to pass out, azzi says the magic word (yes), and paige's eyes are barely open and she's confused and azzi clarifies "you asked me a question earlier, my answer is yes" and then the light bulb goes off in paige's head and she immediately sobers up and tackles azzi once again with the biggest stupidest grin before finally falling asleep.

azzi wakes up a few hours later to the blonde chick on one knee next to the bed with a ring in her hand (she'd been carrying it around for the past god knows how many months), the second ring she's won in the past 24 hours.

and then they LAUNCH. how? well, azzi rocks up to the draft night orange carpet on paige's arm, with a blinding rock on THAT finger and a quick kiss as paige is named the number one pick. tumblr is spiralling, tiktok is in shambles, and twitter is twittering: oh wow they're such great friends!! azzi is SO supportive, i wonder who her fiancé is!

anyhoo, emphasis on the DELULU cause this obvs ain't happening lmao, but I could definitely see them getting engaged sooner rather than later (end of 2026 maybe? we'll circle back in a couple years' time)

also, this may or may not have been inspired by my need to counteract the sadness i feel when i think of GH pazzi breaking up and azzi saying no to paige that first time. yep i said first cause there WILL be a second time and this time she will be saying yes or she'll be the one doing the proposing herself 😌

I heavily agree on them seeming really domestic these days. Like they've always given that but it's been really amped up since the cruise. They've just had a whole new glow to them that I adore so I fully agree, I could totally see an early-ish engagement.
