Notes : have you ever felt like your friend is turning into a complete stranger?

It was weird.

We met because of our parents. They've known eachother since foverer, Phil said, good friends at first glance.

But we weren't friends.

Your parent used to visit Phil every saturday afternoon, bringing a deck of cards and a bag of chestnuts to snack on.

You and your sibling always came together, holding your adult's hand to guide you inside

I watched as you played with your sibling everytime you came, how enthralling your interactions seemed. But i never got the courage to speak up and ask to join you two.

You weren't intimidating in the slightest, you actually looked friendly enough to walk up to and throw playful jabs and teases at back and forth

But we weren't friends.

You came alone one day, your sibling was attending to some remedial classes at the moment. You stood by your caretaker's side while you were here, the place felt like a whole new area now

I felt bold, sitting by your side. And you looked at me for the first time, ds in hand as you guided me through your favorite game

You started coming more after that. We'd go to the park and run into the tall grass, picking up bugs and making them fight like pokemon. You'd take my hand and we'd climb up the tallest tree there

The day i presented you to Techno was the best, i still remember laughing at the sight of you constantly losing to him in a spar. You were so stubborn, always challenging my brother even as i patched your scratched knees

It felt good being your friend

But there came a time when you were coming less, always bringing a small box under your arm

We'd play and we'd play... but then after a while you would suddenly get silent, like you were remembering something

You'd knock on my brother's door to "talk to him" then after a few minutes, i'd hear the violins

The first few times i went in to watch you play, but when you realized i was looking, you'd always grab your things and went back to your house

Over time, i just started standing next Techno's door. So i'd sit there, listening to you play. Sometimes for hours, sometimes even until i fell asleep.

There were parts where the violins could use a guitar in the background, what were you thinking about me?

Or maybe you weren't thinking about me at all.

Techno was clearly teaching you, so you probably just came over to see him

Even then, with my eyes open, there where times i wasn't sure if we were friends

But when i closed my eyes

It felt like a symphony just for me.

While I like the idea of ‘Clara the astronaut’ being someone c! tommy knows: used to know  ( whether as a relative, friend, god, lover) etc, I also like the idea that ‘Clara’ is who Tommy wants to be; free from anyone’s control, on her lonesome by her own choice but not lonely,  exploring never-charted territories, always seeing and learning something new.  Also yes I think c! Tommy is trans fem.

Mei had promised Luna a cheesecake brownie she'd been talking about for days now, so now with summer upon them and time off, she agreed to finally head to the bakery. She'd expected to see the temporary baker there since she knew the primary girl was still out- so when she instead saw Noelle behind the counter, a bright grin tugged onto her lips, "And here I thought you were out exploring the seas, living that lavish cruise life."

"So you're probably why you're wondering why I invited you over..." Alice trailed off as she held out a glass to Noelle and took a seat on her couch. "I needed girl time and also I had some hand bags I was going to get rid of so I wanted to see if you'd like one or five." She managed to go through summer cleaning out of her closet and realized that she needed to get rid of a few bags she don't use anymore which she didn't realize how much she had until she went through it.
