whatever she wants ♡.
Tumblr media
your boyfie luvs spoiling you with his money! and he doesn't care if he maxes out his credit card just by spending money on the stuff that you want to buy. he just wants to see his pretty girl happy, that's all. his love language is gift giving, so why not show his love to you by showering you with designer bags and red bottoms?
you're always whining about how he shouldn't give you this many stuff, even if it wasn't a special occasion. but he insists, who is going to stop him?
need your nails done? check, appointment is already made. you're craving oysters? the reservation is booked. want to be on the highest floor of a five-star hotel in singapore? prepare for the breathtaking view baby. your birkin bag is getting old? the order is at your doorstep. need a new tiffany and co bracelet? get in the car and lets buy you a new one.
honestly he knows every clothing brand that you like because he has a list of your wants and needs. whenever you say something like "this sundress is cute." or "these tory burch sandals would go with this, yeah?" he would instantly take note of it and buy it for you the next day. this man is tiring, but you absolutely adore him. not because of his money, but because of the way he treats you.
he treats you with full on royalty, as if you were his queen, in which, you already are. so, you can't help but give him your thanks to him for doing all these things.
"f-fuck baby, is this your thanks f'me..?" he dryly chuckles, slenders fingers slipping through your well styled hair, to which it was ruined by how tight he's gripping your fucking scalp. ouchie.
you nodded eagerly, sucking him off like your life depended on it. moans vibrated against his cock, letting his body jolt in absolute pleasure. he threw his head back, letting you have your way on his cock as it snuggles deep down your warm and tight throat. he can't help but buck his hips upwards into your throat, a stifled moan bubbling through his gritted teeth. a sweat rolls down his forehead, eyebrows knit together as he looks down at the gorgeous view of you being between his legs and sucking his cock to oblivion.
"ye'r such a slut y'know t-that . . . shit-" he hissed in pleasure, inhaling sharply before letting out a groan. your thighs rubbed together, trying to reach out for some friction for yourself while you gave your precious boyfriend a blow job. he lets out a string of curses and praises, murmuring something about how he's going to ruin your pussy after this, and it only turned you on further, feeling a wet patch on your victoria secret thong.
suddenly, you withdrew from his cock, watching a thin string of spit connect from his cock and to your glossy lips. you looked up at him teary-eyed, your plump lips turning into a small "o" shape as you let out shallow breaths. "what's wrong baby? dick t'much to take down ye'r throat?" he mocks, looking down at you with a sneer. how mean.
" 's okay sugar, daddy's gotcha . . . now c'mere," he pants, his pointer and ring finger beckoning you to crawl up his lap, and so you did. as you got yourself situated and comfortable on his lap, his cock occasionally rubbing against your soaked panties that was desperate to be fucked like a useless glory hole. his hands move under your skirt, pulling down the thong away as it revealed your hungry pussy to his eyes. it was glistening with your slick, and he was definitely going to have a field day with this slip 'n slide.
"you're so wet f'me, and all jus' by suckin' my dick." he chuckles, gripping your hips firmly and lifting it up with a subtle movement, just enough to feel the tip of his cock rubbing against your puffy 'n needy clit. you let out a short gasp, taking a hold on his shoulders as you looked down at the lewd scenery below you. "aht, aht sugar . . . look at me," he gently slaps your ass, bringing back your attention to him and looking at him directly. he murmurs a low "thereee we go." before sliding you down his cock, a high-pitched yelp eliciting from your lips.
his cock slides in further, deeper and deeper until you feel his cock fill you up to the hilt. you're now basically cockdrunk, and he hasn't done anything to make you be in this position yet. you babbled how he's "too big" and that "you're full" but he could only watch in awe. "shh, shh, look how soaked your pussy is . . . look at how easy it just slides in, aand out." he huffs, moving your hips with ease as the base of his cock slips in and out of your pussy, erupting a lewd squelch.
"now c'mon baby, show me how really thankful you are f'me . . ." his hands now let go of your hips, making you fully sit down on his cock as your pussy warms it up. your lips tug a small pout, his hands being placed behind his head as he raised a brow. his expression already spoke volumes on what he was going to say, so you tried your best to lift up your shaky hips and thighs as you worked your way into riding his cock.
let's just say he had to do most of the work later on :(

The Re-visit: South Melbourne Market
On one of your ‘visit the dogs’ day at Flagstaff gardens, you met a friend studying here in the heart of Melbourne. She has a cute brown toy poodle called Yo-yo. Being both dog lovers and new to Melbourne, you bonded with her. Naturally, that means an agreement to meet up once more, triggering your second visit to South Melbourne Market to check out the ‘famous’ paella people have been mentioning.
The easiest way to get to south Melbourne from yours is to hop on a bus at the end of your street. It would be your first time on the bus. You start to understand a little of your cousin’s ranking of public transport in Melbourne: Tram > Train > Uber > Bus. Suspension so terrible you take back all your complains of taxis and busses in Singapore, seats threadbare, floors dinghy, and - perhaps a little coloured - suspicious people.
The bus does take you right to the market though, and with its purpose served, you hop off to enjoy the weekend festive air of markets. It was indeed festive with a Mussels and Jazz event going on. A band plays on stage while pop-up shops add on to the galore of food options of said market.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Simply Spanish with Dim Sum equipment)
With both of you famished, you decide to wander after eating the famous paella. Here is the thing about hyped-up food, its either really good or the hype raised expectations so high it tastes bad. The paella was terribly super normal that it left you and your friend, absolutely disappointed. Thankfully, you had decided to share that one dish and explore the rest of the market. Otherwise, it would be a pricey and sorely lacking meal. [There will be no separate food review of Simply Spanish as it really just isn’t worth it].
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We roam the pop-up stalls where we find a truck selling made-on the spot churros! Since we began with Spanish food, we decided we should find a good Spanish snack to replace the disappointment. The churros lived up to its expectations - piping hot, crispy churros with softer centres. We were now happy and full.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now the problem with digesting food by taking walks, is that where you walk matters. Walking in a place filled with the aroma of food and the sight of it all means that you get peckish really quick. You had mentioned to your friend about how you enjoyed the oysters at the market during your previous trip. Going past the stall mentioned, naturally triggered this memory and she became peckish for oysters. Seeing her order some, and seeing people walk buy and slurping them down made you well peckish as well. (╮(╯▽╰)╭) You decide to behave however, you only bought 2 oysters of different varieties. Yes, just TWO. Not two dozen, not 12, nor 6. Just two.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You savour the two and decide Sydney oyster > Coffin Bay. But really it could just be in your mind. Your friend says – ‘they all tasted as oysters should, yummy!’. Indeed, they were yummy. It is like your ability to taste wine – you only have two rankings “you like it, you hate it”. Maybe one day, your taste buds for oysters and wine will be more refined. Till then they will taste as oysters and wine should.
Satisfied and terribly full, the two of you head back home. Food coma settles in, and you drift off into a lazy stupor on the bus. Your friend gets a message for a last-minute job in 1.5 hours and so you decide to part ways at the bus stop. But then she asks if you like tea, bubble tea to be exact. Naturally you do and with that, the both of you decide there is still time for a bubble tea before heading home. She introduces you to a place near where you live, Top Tea. With its relaxing décor and good tea, the two of you engage in conversation where the topic of selfies pop-up. With that you are introduced to the world of selfie apps! As stereotypical east Asians, this means you end up taking tons of selfies as well as downloading the app.
With that, you call it a day and head home. You will soon be out for the next outing at 4pm and then call it a night, but that’s for the next post.

We normally buy the Mango Crispy Chicken from Fu Lee Seafood (富俐海鮮) but my sis chose a medium portion (S$15) Chicken with Mango Salad (芒果沙律鸡丁) this time. Taste wise, both are about the same except that the former uses whole chicken thigh meat and deep-fried before cutting into bite size pieces so it ended up juicer. The later mango salad is very watery so it is not suitable to be drizzled over the crispy chicken. Verdict, we will stick to the former dish.
Tumblr media
Another new dish we tried is this Salted Egg Pork Ribs (咸蛋排骨王) which is savoury with a little spiciness from the chilli. The boneless pieces of pork are coated with a fragrant layer of salted egg yolk sauce that is both salty and sweet, not to mention tender meat. This medium sized portion cost S$18.
Tumblr media
This S$10 portion of Oyster Sauce Baby Kai Lan (蚝油小芥兰) is a little pricey as is the case for vegetable dishes at all tze char stalls all over Singapore. However the wok hei (镬气) imparted through the high heat cooking is simply worth paying for it as seldom can you achieved the same taste at home.
Tumblr media
We like the Nyonya Fish (娘惹蒸鱼) as the meat of the red snapper is so fresh and sweet. Drizzle some of the spicy and sour gravy over the white rice and you have got yourself a tasty meal. This portion cost us S$12.

What can you hear right now?: Just the sound of my fan directed at me.
Have you ever had a walking taco?: I looked this up just in case I happen to know about it, but no I’m not familiar at all.
Are you watching anything on Netflix?: I’m in the middle of a Korean drama called Hometown Cha Cha Cha but I never have the time to watch it; I’m currently stuck at the second episode. :( I’ve also been eyeing Squid Game but I’ll probably get to it once the hype dies down because the literal entire Philippine population is watching that series rn lol.
Do you have a MoviePass?: I’ve never heard of that.
What’s the last movie you saw in theaters?: Knives Out. I am SO tired of this answer hahahaha.
Have you ever been to Singapore or Bangkok?: I’ve been to Singapore so I would love to give Bangkok a visit. I’ve always wanted to go to Thailand anyway.
Black or gold?: Hmmmmmm. Probably black. But gold is a nice color, too.
How do you prefer your caffeine?: Sweet, for the most part. Black is fine but I can only take it iced.
Do you like coconut water?: That is the literal worst taste on earth. No.
Do you prefer hand sanitizer with aloe or not?: Whatever.
Have you ever had to comfort a friend after they were caught cheating?: Why would I be comforting the cheater...? And especially if they were caught??
What was the last thing someone got you for your birthday?: My manager sent over a cake and my director got me a bucket hat.
What was the last thing you got someone for their birthday?: I got my manager a box of cheese tarts for her birthday last Monday. I initially wasn’t even thinking of getting anything but then I remembered how sweet she was during mine, so I immediately placed an order for her.
Where’s the last place you received a postcard from?: The only postcards I collect are BTS postcards HAHAHA
Do you have a Nintendo Switch?: Yeah, I believe Nina is playing it at the moment.
Have you played Breath of the Wild?: Ah no, we don’t have that game.
At what venue was the last concert you attended?: MOA Arena.
Who was playing at the last concert you attended?: Paramore.
Describe what the bag you use looks like.: It’s a white shoulder bag that has a million pouches and pockets lmao, and it was originally my mom’s. I mean I guess it’s technically still hers; she’s just never asked for it back. I cannot for the life of me remember the brand and I’m too lazy to check.
What’s your favorite Bath and Body Works candle scent?: I’ve never bought any. I remember wanting to start buying them at the start of the year, but then I got into K-Pop and K-Pop merch and...I never ended up buying any candles...
Do you have any tattoos?: Nopes.
Do you have any anniversaries coming up?: My work anniversary is coming up next month.
Have you ever been to Chicago? If so, what was your favorite part?: I haven’t. It’s one of the cities in the US that I’d most like to see, though. < Me too. I want to head for their local restaurants, then cross out all their museums.
Who is the last person that texted you?: My inbox is just filled with either scams or SMS marketing texts these days.
Who is the last person you spoke to on the phone?: A sales contact from a media publication we’re currently working with.
Do you live in a college town?: Nopes.
Have you ever enjoyed just walking around a campus?: I mean I hate walking lmao so technically no, but my school was beautiful and I loved everything about its vibe. It always did feel peaceful driving through the campus.
Do you like craft beer? What’s your favorite?: I don’t really like beer to begin with, but I have tried craft beer and I suppose it tastes okay. Beer just happens to be not my type.
Would you try grapes on a pizza?: No.
Have you ever tried an oyster? How would you describe the experience?: Yesssssssssss. SO GOOD. I’ve been craving for years but they’re just so pricey.
Do you like wine? What’s your favorite?: It’s fine. I’m not necessarily crazy about the taste but I’d always finish up a glass.
Has anyone ever specifically painted you a painting?: No, but I’ve had someone give me their painting. They didn’t mean to make it for me specifically at first.
What are people from your state called?: Not giving that away.
How do you like your steak?: Rare rare rare rare.
Do you have any corduroy skinny jeans?: No. Those look so uncomfortable.

i’m thinking about going to singapore next year, maybe in the summer? do u have any food/cafe/shopping etc recommendations? any general tips? i want a local perspective. thanks! :)
thanks for the opportunity, i’ve always wanted to do this lololol. here’s a compact insider’s guide to singapore (from my perspective).
warning: word vomit ahead
food — my palate’s very.... chinese / north asian so most of my recs will be around those flavours (also bc i’m not very good with recommending indian / malay cuisines but i’ve listed blogs below you can search from....)
hawker centres are a huge deal. among the many places, i’d rec:
maxwell food centre 1, 2 my favourites there are the Hainanese Curry Rice — the crispy pork chop is addictive, Popo & Nana’s because it’s not a common hawker cuisine and they’re really homely / hearty meals, Fu Shun for roast meats — my personal golden trio is always roast duck, char siew and sio bak (crispy pork belly)
hong lim food centre has a couple of stalls that have been awarded the michelin bib gourmand. if i could only rec 2 things to try, it’d be the tai wah minced pork noodles (mee kia noodles are the way to go ) and this stall called cantonese delights — i go wild and get the laksa yong tau foo + fried chicken because laksa is not adventurous enough ahaha
other hawker favourites: oyster omelette (it’s hard to find one that has the right amount of crisp without being too starchy, so i swear by this hawker, they’re in a accessible location but not the most central), hokkien mee, carrot cake, kway chap — u can get some of these at newtown food centre which is a very touristy place for local food, just be careful with seafood orders as you wouldn’t want a surprise trap :x
tips: both locations are very near many offices so i say walk around chinatown in the morning and go for a early lunch ~11.30am. because all are very awesome places, they may sell out on certain things by afternoon...
it’s also not uncommon to use ur belongings to “reserve” a table, esp during lunch hr. people either grab seats by putting tissue packets on the entire table or leaving cards on the seats — it’s normal to do that at a hawker centre.
zi char is a huge part of sg’s food culture, it’s called 煮炒 which lol, literally means cook / fry. but it’s basically a place where you order sharing dishes, each zi char place usually has a couple of signature dishes as their claim to fame. these are some of the most famous ones here: kok sen, tian wai tian (swear by their prawns + egg tofu in this chilli crab sauce like gravy), uncle leong (chilli crab!!!!!! they’re a good alternative to jumbo seafood and a little more merciful on the wallet).
tips: zi char places are usually open at night, and they get crowded through the weekends. try reserving a table if you can or you might need to wait for long. the other trick is to turn up early or a lot later than usual dinner time.
cafes — there are so many in singapore now, but here are some of my favourites
the glasshouse my go-to for iced white + oat milk, their toasts are also pretty good!,
curious palette food’s ok but it’s their cold brew - white magic - mind-blowing!!!!!! also has the potential to keep you up till 4am lol),
nylon coffee remains one of the best coffees i’ve had, they don’t serve food,
oriole coffee cold brew is awesome, also has this signature called death by cream love it!!!,
old hen coffee i used to buy their white cold brew by 1/2 dozens per visit lol,
bundt by the backyard bakers fckin awesome cookies and coffee, i walked there every other day when i worked around the area. seating is really limited, it’s really more of a grab and go walk somemore place...,
ps cafe they’re well known for truffle fries and their sticky date pudding, a bit mainstream regular cafe food with some asian twists but my all-time fave is their club sandwich — literally who cares if they’re mainstream if they serve that.
honorary food mention: two men bagel house bc fck, best mutated versions of a bagel burger cross i’ve had.
given our hawker culture, cafes are not cheap at all but these are some of the places are worth a visit and are quite accessible. if you’re looking to do more research on food, you can try ieatishootipost (more old sch recs) and burpple (as chosen by young people).
shopping — is secondary lol, but you could see if your trip coincides with public garden, check out the national gallery, walk around chinatown / little india / haji lane / marina bay sands, visit gardens by the bay (they have a hawker area nearby called satay by the bay — and ofc, u then need to try satay which is grilled meat skewers with peanut sauce), visit don don donki if you like browsing in hypermarts bc there are lots of things to look at, the cooked food section is good enough to mesmerise..... it’s a bit lame like why a japanese % store in sg but it’s really fun!!!! also u can pack sashimi back or desserts or cooked snacks back for supper  🤤
we’re a concrete jungle so more often than not, shopping’s usually in malls — if you’re interested in designer brands, you can check out DSM but that’s pretty much all there is there, and a couple of expensive places to eat (you can try PS Cafe there too).
omg....... i hope this helps!! u can also pm me if there’s anything else u want to ask!

Sweet Singapore
What a place. If you’ve never been and it’s not on your bucket list of places to go, write it down right now. This place, was incredible. Theres nothing I didn’t love about Singapore, (Apart from it being a tad pricey. But it’s worth it. Promise). Everything was just amazing. For me, it’s a weird, and exotic mix between London and Melbourne, so it was in a way, a touch of home. Or maybe I could just see myself living here.
On the 5th January, we flew into Changi airport from Bali, Denpasar, we got the MRT to our stop and walked down to our hostel for the night. I was very lazy and didn’t pay any attention because Amy knew where she was going having used the MRT before, but you can download an app for the MRT maps, it’s so easy to follow. You can also buy a tourist pass which is good, saves you money and works like an Oyster card, you just need to find a station which sells them, some do and some don’t as we found out.
Amy had booked a surprise hotel for the 6th and 7th nights for my birthday so I wasn’t sure where we were staying after the one I booked in China town. We dropped our bags and headed to the Gardens By The Bay. I had made a little to do list to tick off while in Singapore, as we only had 3 days so I didn’t want to miss anything out. Amy’s been lucky enough for this Singapore visit to be number 4.. so she had a better idea of where to go on what days etc. So a mix of the two of us we had a pretty good itinerary.
First stop, Marina Bay Sands, which I weirdly wasn’t too fussed about going up there for an extremely $$$ overpriced cocktail, but I mean, I imagine it’s stunning views.. however, Gardens By The Bay was on my mind. So we walked through the lobby of the hotel to the gardens, bought tickets for the ‘cloud walk’, the flowers and the sky walk. You should do all 3, 100%. You walk into this huge greenhouse I guess, full of plants, waterfalls, flowers, breath taking.
After we had walked around both the Gardens By The Bay. The flower house and did the sky walk, we found a spot to sit for the light show. This is quite something. If anyone’s going to go all out, Singapore is going to do it right. This was incredible.  The opera music was booming, you couldn’t hear a sound apart from that. We lay on our backs and watched the 15 minute show.
The second day, we spent at the Botanic Gardens and Orchid gardens, which again was extremely hot but beautiful. We got cute little Açai bowls before we started walking. And then yup. Shock. Beer o’clock. It’s times like this that I realise how much I’ll miss Amy when she flies back to Australia.

5 Things You Should Know About the History of Rolex Watches
Who does not love a luxury watch? Many people buy pre-owned watches in Singapore.  And Rolex is one of the most celebrated watchmakers. They have been making watches since 1905. It is a pretty long time to retain their fame in the matchmaking industry. For more than a hundred years, Rolex has kept surprising its customers. Even people who are not familiar with watch brands know Rolex as a luxury watch company.
We have many queries regarding the brand. So, here are five things you should know about the history of Rolex watches.
 1.       How Was Rolex Developed?
A 24-year-old young man Hans Wilsdorf and his brother-in-law Alfred Davis started a new business in London. They started making watches and selling them to jewellers. That is why ‘Wilsdorf and Davis’ was the initial name for Rolex.
They continued to sell watches from 1905 to 1908 without securing a brand name. In 1908, they realised the potential of these watches and gave them the brand name ‘Rolex’. The reason behind the naming of the brand is not clear. They wanted an easy-to-pronounce name for their company.
Though the journey started in London, after 1908, they opened their first office in Switzerland. After a huge success, the brand moved to Geneva in 1919.
2.       It Introduced The First Waterproof Watch:
In 1926 the company made the first waterproof watch Rolex Oyster Case. Mercedes Gleitze, a British professional swimmer, tested it, and it became immensely popular.
3.       Auto Day Date Feature:
In 1956 Rolex added another feather to its crown by introducing an automatic date and day feature.
4.       Innovations:
Rolex has hundreds of innovations and patents, like Parafex shock absorber, Syloxi hairspring, Para chrome hairspring, etc.
5.       A Rolex Accompanied Norgay To Summit Of Mount Everest: Tenzin Norgay was the first man to stand on the Everest summit with Edmund Hillary. At that moment, Norgay was wearing an Oyster Perpetual Bubble black watch from Rolex.
 Final Words
Over time the designs and technology have changed. But the craze about a Rolex timepiece is still unbeatable. Though these watches are quite expensive, many of us want to own a Rolex watch. If you are a luxury watch collector, you know the value of pre-owned Rolex in Singapore. They are valuable because people still find them precious and timeless.

Group Friendly: Restaurants in Toronto

Group Friendly: Restaurants in Toronto
Tumblr media
It can be hard enough to organize an event that organizes a group of people in Toronto. Trying to find a restaurant that not only accommodates everyone but also happily satiates them can be hard. No one wants to wait in a line or get shoved into a corner. No one puts baby in the corner (Dirty Dancing reference for those not up on their 80s film classics) and no one will put your people in a corner with these 10 Best picks.
There are choices for the talkative and rowdy, such as Wvrst which has a casual, beer hall mentality with beer flights and duck fries to make everyone happy. Or, if you like sushi and a lot of yelling, try out the infectiously vibrant Japanese restaurant Guu Izakaya.
Sometimes you need a little more class than sass. Cluny has an atmosphere that warrants a little dressing up, but will happily welcome those in stretchy pants who intend to do Cluny’s bread products justice. In today’s day and age, stretchy pants always have to be an option.
Determine the attitude of the company you keep and match the style of restaurant and ultimately everyone will be happy, whether you are hosting a discerning aunt or your friend who always seems to have a mustard stain on his lapel.
The food photos from Fishman Lobster Clubhouse are so voluminous, so mountainous, that it seems that this restaurant might scoff at a party of one. All parties are welcome, but the platters of seafood at Fishman Lobster Clubhouse seem more aptly suited for a ravenous group. Tables shudder under the weight of crab legs or Hong Kong style lobster. Floor to ceiling fish tanks house gigantic crustaceans. There is a lobster tower on the menu, if towers of seafood fit the bill for your group. As a warning, it weighs 50 pounds and costs almost $700 (for around 10 people), but it may be economical depending on the size of the stomachs in your company.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Lobsters and snow crabs in ample quantity for any size group.
Courtney’s expert tip: The set menu is a great deal for a smaller group and will certainly fill your bellies.

Since Hong Kong-born chef Susur Lee arrived in Canada in 1978, he’s built a reputation on inventive cuisine that fuses the dishes of his homeland with other global influences. Lee is his flagship Toronto restaurant, with a menu that is built around sharable tapas-sized plates. Expect the unexpected with a mashup of Asian and French flavours. Chef Lee’s Singapore Slaw has been a fixture on the menu for years and is well worth the splurge. The presentation is impressive, with the salad mixed at the table and sculpted into a tower. Inventive ingredients range from daikon to fennel seedlings and edible flower petals. Save room for an inventive dessert, such as the French and Chinese Tong Yuen with a rice dumpling, chocolate nougat, Indian pastry and strawberry/creme brûlée. What?!?
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Susur Lee’s restaurant is a fantastic place to share a memorable foodie experience with your group.
Courtney’s expert tip: It’s super easy to book a private dining experience for your group at Lee. Check out their website for more details.

When you walk into the carbon bar, you feel like you have stepped into the future, with sky high ceilings and glowing white lamps. There is a lot of history in this building (it was once a Disney dance studio!) but now it is all delicious BBQ bites, like the wood fired sweet and spicy ribs with coleslaw and dill pickles. There are also a host of snacks (crocodile bites, anyone?) and craft cocktails that are impressively balanced. Private dining is divine here, with a chef’s table option for a group up to 14, or for larger groups there is the Green Room, an upstairs private dining space which gives a prime view of the dining room.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: BBQ heaven and a private dining room – nothing wrong with that.
Courtney’s expert tip: The carbon bar has catering available for groups of 8 of more (must be placed 48 hours in advance), if you decide to keep your group at home.

Take the “a” off of “Planta” and you will realize what this restaurant is all about (and it’s not the hokey pokey). Marketed as plant-based cuisine rather than vegan, this fresh and airy restaurant specializes in delicious food from around the globe that any meat-eater would be proud to chomp. Planta burgers have queso, pickles, buffalo aioli and spiced fries. Enjoy cashew mozzarella, ranch dressing and cauliflower on your pizza. The creative and innovative dishes are plated beautifully and and the light and airy dining room and private dining area will impress your group.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Plant-based dining is sexy and hip. What better way to show off to your friends?
Courtney’s expert tip: Larger groups are suggested to book through the private events link on their webpage.

Luma is a wonderful restaurant to stop by if you are in the heart of the city. Right on King Street around everything that is buzzing, the warm wood within the restaurant offsets the surrounding hustle and bustle. Luma is an Oliver & Bonacini restaurant that has many menus to complement the time of day you choose to dine. You have lunch, dinner or dessert, of course, but there is also a post 3pm lounge menu. The menu is seafood heavy and includes such gems as clam carbonara and miso cod with maple syrup. The Manhattans are named after neighbourhoods in Toronto (the High Park; the North York). It is worth saving room for the desserts, with an amazing “chocolate bar” which is like a soft dark chocolate brownie layered with banana and peanut butter ice cream. Heaven.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Upscale and chic, the location couldn’t be more convenient. Let your group congregate in the heart of the city over excellent food.
Courtney’s expert tip: Luma is available for private events on Sundays, so do contact them if this is something of interest to you.

Blu is the kind of fine dining you want to make time for, although it won’t take much time to have a superb group experience. There are three private dining restaurant rooms, one for 12 guests, one for between 12-20 and one for 22-30. You can also fully buy out the restaurant for an event with 100 guests. Whether you go with a small crowd or a giant one, Blu is the perfect place to slurp some pasta with someone you love (or at the very least, like). Try the truffle wild boar ragu with wild mushrooms over sweet potato and ricotta gnocchi for a dish that will make your eyes roll back into your head.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Whether you are planning a breakfast meeting or a family reunion, Blu is the perfect place to eat well and sit together.
Courtney’s expert tip: Audio visual equipment is available at Blu to make your next breakfast meeting even simpler. They are private rooms, but not completely soundproof, so may want to keep the long-winded speeches to a minimum.

Japanese restaurant. Tapas restaurant. Drinking establishment which serves food to accompany the drinks (at least according to the definition of Izakaya). Guu Izakaya does it all. This lively and energetic restaurant opened in 2011 after being acclaimed in Vancouver. Communal style tables encourage strangers to get friendly as they share the experience of eating Japanese comfort food. Baked oysters, beef tongue, almond tofu, sashimi salad and bibimbap are some of the options, and all are exquisite. Dishes are great for sharing, and you can sit at the bar to watch the food being cooked. Don’t miss the cocktail and sake list. A couple of drinks will put you in the right Guu mood.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: This restaurant is already noisy, so your group won’t even make a dent in the energy. Bring your rowdy friends.
Courtney’s expert tip: If you plan on trying everything, order at least two of each dish for a large group and pass everything around. Now is the time to try angus beef tongue.

Cluny Bistro takes French food and makes it unfussy. You can have your caramelized onion soup and moules frites but you don’t need to have a side of snobbery. Even so, the backdrop for your dining experience is absolutely stunning with high ceilings and may have you convinced that the Eiffel Tower is within walking distance. Groups are more than welcome with a private dining area just for the occasion. The boulangerie is more of the takeaway aspect of the restaurant, with all things pastry waiting to be fawned over and taken home in a paper bag. But make sure to enjoy the classic French dishes on a plate, like the foie gras eclairs or the fried frogs legs. The large patio fits 100 people and its cobblestone floor transports you right to France.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Joie de vivre isn’t something you should keep to yourself.
Courtney’s expert tip: There are a wide variety of cocktails, but there are also fantastic mocktails if you choose not to imbibe.

The world can be divided into two groups of people: those who say “yay” to a beer hall and those who say “nay.” For those who are in the “yay” category, Wvrst is an informal way to have a lot of fun (and potentially a lot of beer). With communal tables encouraging friendly banter, this King Street located, Munich-style beer hall specializes in all-natural sausage (as you may have guessed from the name). Vegetarians have a ton of options, from the beyond sausages to black bean, green curry and more. Meat eaters have even more variety, from kangaroo to wild boar to rabbit. There are also duck fat fries with dipping sauces. The food encourages the beer drinking and the beer drinking encourages hunger to persist. It is a feedback loop that is just perfect for those “yay” sayers.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Whether or not you come with a group, Wvrst’s communal tables make you feel part of something greater than yourself. Is that the beer talking?
Courtney’s expert tip: Get the fries with a series of dipping sauces. Truffle mushroom mayo? Come ON.

You can certainly judge the closeness of your friendship by how much guacamole you are willing to share with someone. Prepared table side, El Catrin’s comes with avocado, tomato, onion, fresh cilantro and serrano chilis. Plates are tapas style, all the better to share with your group of ravenous friends. If coming with a crowd, you must get El Jefe’s taco feast, or 2 of every taco on the menu (which has everything from beef to chipotle stewed shrimp to charred chayote squash). There are semi-private dining spaces for groups of 13 or more. Did we mention that there is the largest tequila collection in the country here? Bottoms up.
Recommended for Group Friendly because: Tequila, large open spaces and sharable Mexican food make El Catrin a group positive destination.
Courtney’s expert tip: This is one of the best patios in the city. Go on a beautiful day and try to tear yourself away from the margaritas. Or brave a cold winter day by the fire pits and be rewarded with a brunch that is 50% off.

A Definite Guide to Purchase Used Rolex Watches
Rolex offers luxurious as well as durable timepieces for watch wearers. However, due to budget constraints, many individuals fail to purchase luxury watches in Singapore. In case you are unable to buy a new piece, you could opt for a used Rolex timepiece. Purchasing in a second-hand Rolex could benefit you in numerous ways like you could save nearly 60% off retail prices.
The best thing is that you have endless choices of Rolex watches to shop from like new models, vintage pieces, and exclusives as well. Moreover, investing in a used piece is an eco-friendly practice because it would extend the living watch’s life by reducing your contribution to destructive mining practices for the precious metals.
Factors to Consider while Buying Pre-Owned Rolex
It is worth noting that purchasing a pre-owned Rolex does not mean a compromise on quality. These watches could be maintained for generations with regular service. One thing you need to keep in mind is that purchase of the watch must be from a reputed pre-owned watch store. Other than purchasing from a reputed store, the key aspects that you need to consider while purchasing a pre-owned Rolex Singapore include
●        Style
Basically, there are two categories of Rolex watches i.e., classic and professional. The classic watches contain the models Cellini, Datejust, Oyster Perpetual. These are streamlined timepieces which honour the watchmaking heritage of Rolex. Whereas professional watches provide different complications for suiting activities like yachting, diving, and motorsport.
Unlike the other brands that sell the watches with complications, Rolex provides a concise selection including chronograph, moonphase, dual time zone, and tachymeter. The complications you wish to have would narrow down the watch selection.

It is important to note that Rolex has crafted watches for nearly a century. You could shop for modern, vintage, and antique Rolex timepieces. The modern watches are the ones made after 1990 whereas the vintage watches are the ones that are made from 1935 to 1990. And, the antique Rolex watches are the ones that predate 1935.
Apart from these, ensure you pay attention to your budget as well. As the pre-owned Rolex timepieces come in huge varieties, splurging on the luxury pieces is easy. Therefore, it is advised to set a realistic budget.
