I am the only idiot in the Chainsawman fandom that believes Fumiko is overall Denji's ally and, in fact, was not emotionally manipulating him with her backstory.

Like sorry to that one insane Twitter thread I read where the OP was certain she was trying to uh, "debase, belittle and bring denji down to a pitiable state, where she can cathartically enjoy him the most." But I actually think that maybe she was just sharing her story to give Denji a new perspective on which to view himself. Like maybe she's 22 and kind of an asshole and not. Fucking Makima 2.0
