i'm still playing through it, but man, i'm absolutely loving chants of sennaar. the translation puzzles are all so intuitive and satisfying to solve, and once you start adding different languages with their own scripts and structures into the mix, it gets even more entertaining.

i've only reestablished the first link of those terminal puzzles, but having to translate and interpret for these two different cultures was so interesting, especially with the words each of them use for the others and what that tells you about the story. obviously i'm still trying to understand what's going on, but i'm definitely very intrigued...

oh, and the game is absolutely gorgeous. every environment is so distinctive and immersive in their own way. it's truly a joy to play through.

#i will say as my only criticism so far #is that sometimes i'm Dumb and the places are Too Big and i feel very Lost so i just end up checking a guide because if not i end up losing #so much time just wandering. which idk if it's a fault of the game but i'd rather spend time thinking about a puzzle. not wandering #around aimlessly because i dont know where to go next.#but yeah fantastic game so far.......and i like it a lot more than heaven's vault SORRY #according to jules
