I wish I could like copy paste my Snapchat story video rants to here without showing my face because I watched a Netflix movie called Extinction and holy fuck do I have things to say but also I'm too lazy to type it all out.

#the movie attempts to make a genocide/bigotry allegory using AI as the marginalized group #which is already a red flag because no media that uses nonhuman entities as a stand-in for real marginalized groups is going to work well #mostly because a major talking point that bigots use is that the marginalized group isn't human or isn't “really” human #but what sent this movie over the edge for me was that they had anti-AI humans protesting by chanting 'you will not replace us'#i-#that's all I'm going to say #i don't have the energy to type out my whole rant but like do you need more #anyway
