hmmmm not my workplace giving a christmas bonus to the only male member of staff on a team of six, including our line manager, for working hard this year like the rest of us haven't been busting our asses under constant scrutiny at the expense of our physical and mental health for months

#not to say he hasn't also worked hard because he has #he's just not the only one who has #but is the only one that got a bonus #what have i had this year? i've been called rude and flippant and had patronising lectures about attendance #from people who ignored me when i told them about physical health problems and mental health issues #my manager has balanced her main job with leadership responsibilities #while doing the jobs of about three other people because they're completely incompetent #no bonus for her #one of my colleagues has accrued about a weeks worth of extra time because she's had so many late nights and early starts #all for the benefit of other people who can't do their job properly #we've all been forced to take on extra duties that have added to our already full workload #but we're just annoying women who complain all the time so no bonuses for us #i hate this place and i cannot wait to leave #beth vs life
