im bored rn, here's what i'd have liked ash's gen 8 team to look like
#kinda ehhhhh on rillaboom cause i actually think cinderace would work better for him#but we're assuming that goh still exists in this au and he gets scorbunny still cause i love their relationship#anyways rillaboom and corviknight are the starter and bird he typically gets#(even aside from that i just think corviknight is SO good for him#alcremie is so he can get one fairy type cause i hate the mimey retcon. pussy move#he could also have another mon on here that he had to release for some reason but he'd done that two gens in a row beforehand#so it's probably fine#also its the same alcremie he had in that one episode#falinks is mostly just cause i think it'd have had GREAT episode potential. like it'd make for a good mini arc#maybe ash only meets the captain one at first and its all sad cause it has no troops so ash has it tag along#to find some. and once they do then they let him capture them#though im open to sirfetch'd coming back here#and ofc he actually had a dracovish in the show and it works as like the weird one you wouldnt expect on his team#cause i really feel like sm was missing an oddball not as popular pokemon#may do one for chloe too cause she was done dirty. not doing one for goh cause his team flucuates and i like it like that#hes building a sanctuary and he's got some common guys that keep coming but its all up to chance#oh and ill do a paldea one too#i kinda wanted to leave one mon unevolved but eh its fine
