We Met Within This Screen (chapt. 5)
[Donnie x fem reader]
sfw, chapt. 4 here
Tumblr media
Just as Donnie had predicted, the night air was cold on his scales. Right upon leaving, Mikey brought up to Leo going in pairs this time, to cover more ground, he said. An extra thorough patrol. Donnie honestly couldn't make up his mind and so by then he was flying by the seat of his pants, not objecting to Mikey's plan, but also not agreeing. He doubted Leo would be convinced, anyway. They didn't do duo patrols that often.
"I was thinking we could split up this time, you know, me and Donnie, you and Raph?" suggested Mikey, closing the manhole behind himself.
"I thought you liked it when we're all together," Leo commented.
Donnie shot Mikey a look, trying to tell him to cool it, but he shrugged, "Come on, it'll be like some kind of training or...something," Mikey went behind Leo and shook his shoulders, "aren't you into that?"
Internally, Donnie facepalmed. Unless he actively tried to stop this, it was going to happen, wasn't it? One way or another, probably; it all depended on how Leo was feeling that night. Raph was indifferent. He didn't care whether they were all together or in pairs, just that he got to flex his combat skills some. If he could, he'd go out and do it on his own, even.
Leo looked around, considering Mikey's suggestion. "Okay," he agreed, eventually. "You and Donnie take East, Raph and I will cover the usual route and then—"
"No," Mikey interjected. Both Leo and Raph's brows furrowed as they stared at their brother. He motioned toward Donnie, "Me and Donnie can take that, you guys just go on ahead," he smiled. "You know I like checking out the skatepark!"
"No skating," Leo said.
"I'll just watch whoever's there, then." He pouted.
Raph snorted. "Yeah, make sure he actually pays attention, Donnie."
"As usual," Donnie sighed, and looked at Leo.
"Well, what do you think, Don?"
The decision is up to me?
Turns out it was his all along, but he wanted to feign innocence in saying that Mikey was the one to drag him through it. Easier to not take responsibility and let life happen at you rather than making a conscious effort, at times.
"I guess we can do that," Donnie answered reluctantly. He could have said no. Why didn't he? In the corner of his eye, he saw Mikey beam, giving him a discreet thumbs up.
"Alright, meet back here by four AM, and if either of you run into big trouble, call. We'll come," Leo said. "Same for us."
"Yeah, we'll holler for ya," added Raph dismissively. "And nah, a big dog doesn't count as trouble, Mikey." He sounded gruff, but in actuality, he was still chuckling to himself over that years later. After they got over being annoyed that he had called them from that far while they were on a supply run. Chased by a junkyard dog—some of their least favorite parts about visiting those places.
"Hey, it was mean! And way fast!" Mikey protested as they parted ways, them taking to the East and red and blue the opposite way.
As per course, Donnie and Mikey took their normal route, and his heart skipped a beat when they met the scene of their last run-in with criminals. Not because of them, no, but because of the familiar apartment building that was now more intimidating than he'd expected. They circled the area like they normally would have, but Mikey came to stop them on a roof just opposite of the complex, eyes searching each window. Obscured by the height of the building, he sat on the edge.
Donnie didn't know what to do with himself. He stood back a good ten feet, somehow paranoid of being spotted even though he knew it was not possible from their angle in the complex. Mikey was comfortable, and weirdly at peace as he sat there quietly on the edge, assumed to be waiting for his brother to make a move. But Donnie was stuck in place.
"What are you waiting for, D?"
The sudden question broke him from his stillness. It was true; he didn't know what he was waiting for.
"I—I don't know what you want me to do, what are you thinking?" Donnie asked in return, stepping back a little further as he noticed movement behind the curtains of a lit window.
"Get your phone out and talk to her," Mikey told him, waving his hand at the apartments. "What did we come out here for if you aren't gonna make it right, bro? Do some smooth talk, tell her you're sorry and you wanna get to know her better…"
"This is absolutely a ridiculous plan," Donnie said, though as if his hands had thought of their own, they reached for his phone, and a moment later he was looking at the messages. Still nothing. Radio silence on both of their ends. How would he approach it? "I'm sorry I went from hot to cold so fast. Please talk to me again." Too strong. "Sorry, can we get a redo?" Too casual. "I'd like to apologise for being a jerk." Okay, that's just not good. Reconciling was going to be as difficult as he'd thought it would be.
Mikey came over and looked at his phone screen and his brother floundering, thumbs stuttering across the keyboard, deleting the text, retyping it over and over again for perfection where he wasn't going to find any–
"I got this, let Love Doctor Mikey handle it," he said, taking the phone right from Donnie's hand.
"You've never been in a relationship, not even talked to anyone, how would you—"
Mikey shushed him. Donnie was going to snatch the phone away but he spun around, draping himself over his shoulder.  "Just let me work my magic, dude!"
Donnie couldn't watch; he had to turn away. How sure he was that Mikey was going to say something uncalled for, something weird or bone-headed, and the wait was killing him. What if she didn't even respond? Was that better than doing damage control for Mikey's shenanigans? For someone usually decisive, he could not for the life of him make up his mind about what he wanted at that very instance.
The phone vibrated.
Mikey cheered. "Got her on the line, now you just gotta reel 'em in," he grinned, handing the phone back to Donnie.
"Hey :/
I thought you wanted to stop?"
Mikey kept trying to lean over to catch a glimpse of the screen, but Donnie felt that it was a personal moment, so without skipping a beat, he activated the electric current in his staff and poked it behind him into his brother's plastron.
"Fine," Mikey whined. He stepped in one last time, "But don't hold out on me here!"
Trying to find an graceful way to patch this all up, Donnie replied:
"I apologise for that, and I know you probably want an explanation, but it's hard to explain
Moment of weakness?
I guess...
Anyway. I'm not expecting you to suddenly be cool with it, if you don't want to talk to me I understand
Sorry."
Mikey noticed Donnie's dismal expression and he mellowed out accordingly, standing close but not putting a hand on him, nor saying anything. He didn't watch the phone, but Donnie's face and slumped shoulders. He'd thought it would have been going better by now.
"I won't lie, I'm still confused
But if you're going through something, I'm right here for you
Don't worry about it. Just don't give me a spook like that again, I thought it was me
lol
Okay it's not funny but this is a little awkward"
Donnie's heart sank reading that. He'd made her feel bad, even question herself over his problem. Never had he wanted to make her think it was her that drove him off.
"No, no, it was never you
Again, I can't really explain…
Is it okay if we just try this again?
I understand if not."
"Jeez Bo, I already said it's alright
I WANT to keep talking to you, you're cool
So let's forget about it, yeah?
Friends again :) "
And like that, his heart took a leap. A smile slowly spread across his face, and without looking away from the screen, grabbed Mikey by the shell, pulling him toward. "Look at this!" he exclaimed.
"You see it too?" he quirked, pointing at the apartment complex across the road.
Donnie paused and looked over his shoulder at him, "What?"
On one of the balconies sat a lone girl, on her phone, and if Mikey looked hard enough, he could see a smile. Definitely a smile.
"Ah!" yelped Donnie quietly. He scurried back against the wall of the attached building behind him, as far as he could.
"Dude! Come on, this is perfect!" Mikey nudged him, and when he didn't hop up onto his feet, dragged his brother near the edge of the roof. Donnie was boneless but unwilling, his mind stuck on the fact that she thought he was cool. Him, cool. Was he? She didn't know even the half of it. She didn't know he was a martial artist, technically a genius, and that he'd gone against some of the worst the city had to offer. And without that, she still thought he was cool, as an average guy.
As average as what my circumstances will allow me to be.
Feet dragging all the way, Donnie's stomach did a flip as they met the ledge, peering carefully over it in a crouch. They were prone, watching the girl who was completely unaware of their presence. He was, simply put, enraptured, for a second there, studying her features as much as he could from where they were. The details of her face were not distinct due to the distance, but he could tell she was both nothing like he'd imagined and so much more. For once, he didn't immediately question the validity of the situation; there was no "it could be a coincidence", or "it's too unlikely that she would be out just as they were". Not right away. But it hit him when Mikey spoke.
"You're so lucky, D," he said wistfully. "Really." Head rested on his forearm, his gaze fell on not one thing, but the whole scene, a somber smile gracing him. He was excited, happy for his brother. But deep down, Donnie knew that though Mikey wasn't envious of him in a resentful way, it had to have stung to witness such a thing unfold for someone not himself. Their youngest had always craved connection the most. He looked away from the girl, "I wasn't gonna let you throw away an awesome chance, was I?"
Releasing a heavy breath, Donnie crawled away from the edge, but his eyes remained on that balcony. It was weird to watch someone who didn't know they were being watched. Not in that context.
"I...guess I may be," Donnie responded. But it would only get more complicated from there. His phone vibrated, breaking his trance, and the message he found read:
"Anyways, with that out of the way, what are you doing?"
Just watching you from a roof, nothing much, Donnie thought.
"Currently out enjoying the night"
"Isn't it kinda cold?"
"What about you?"
He knew what he meant, because he was there watching her as a chilled breeze rolled through, but she told him she wasn't doing anything. Only relaxing and talking to him.
It took him a few minutes to get his bearings. To know that he now had tangible evidence that she was a girl, an ordinary person, and that said person really thought he was cool. Worth the effort. He felt exceedingly difficult for not being able to give her a rightful explanation, but comforted by the fact that he wasn't being demanded of one. He felt light. Almost weightless, with Mikey next to him instead of his other cynical, skeptical brothers. For a moment, he had nothing to worry about.
From across the roof, he could still see the yawn escape her mouth. Probably an indicator that it was time to wrap things up. He didn't want her to stay up too late; it was already odd that she was up at such an hour, almost two AM, but glad nonetheless.
"Are you tired?"
"Yeah
I think I'm gonna hit the hay
So goodnight, Bo
Talk to you later (☞゚ヮ゚)☞"
She got up, leaning on the railing which faced them.
"I want to stay up with you but—"
Donnie sucked in a sharp breath as she looked up, just barely able to see from underneath the balcony above her. He snagged the strap on Mikey's shell and yanked him back with him away from the edge of the roof, taking cover behind the wall.
"Shit," hissed Donnie, "do you think she saw us?"
These shells, they make us look so big!
"Relax, bro, even if she did, it was only a little bit. Besides, we could be anyone from this far, they don't have pigeon vision."
"You mean 'eagle vision'?"
"They're both birds!"
Donnie deadpanned and peeked over the wall. She'd gone in. Three minutes later, he hadn't gotten any texts yet about something weird on the rooftops, so he could finally relax, groaning lightly. "Too close," he breathed out, "Mikey, we need to go, Leo's going to notice we're not back in time if we don't hurry up and get the rest of this route done."
"Already on it," he whooped, vaulting onto the next roof.
As Donnie was scaling the wall of the attached building, he felt his phone vibrate, and curious, he checked it one last time before getting on his way.
"One question before I go
You ever see stuff you can't explain but even if you did you'd sound crazy?"
Oh, no.
"No, I don't."

Kiss Your Wounds
Kyle O’reilly x Reader
Rating: E
Word count: 2,278 (yikes!)
Warnings: angst, cursing, blood
Summary: after a horrible situation between Kyle and Adam, Kyle confesses something to the Reader.
This is the first time i post something like this in ages, i apologize with the grammar, English isn’t my first language, hope y’all like it.
I’ve been friends with Kyle for a long time, but that is just that we’ve been friends, neither he nor I have taken another step and, it’s because he already has someone else.
I was always afraid to confess how I felt, long before his relationship with Chrissy began, although there were times when I was able to confess to him and even he seemed to feel the same, but in the end, it was not like that or at least I didn't let it happen.
Between Adam and Kyle the tension has grown for a long time, it was difficult to explain but for some time now the great bond of friendship has broken little by little, they started with little jokes that escalated to tensions, then they were cursing each other, and finally we got to the situation in which we found ourselves; kyle and adam hitting each other outside a bar, while Roddy and Bobby tried to separate them, sadly taking quite a few punches.
"guys, enough" Roddy yelled, people came closer and closer to see what was happening.
"Adam, stop it, Kyle let him go" I screamed as I could and in the distance I could hear someone calling the police.
"guys, stop, stop now, the police are coming" just at that moment, maybe destiny?, Roddy and Bobby could finally separate them.
All of this was too much, the tension, the people making a circle making the space smaller, the anger in the air grow stronger. Suddenly sirens are heard and the blue and red lights are seen closer to us, part of the audience that Kyle and Adam gathered began to disperse.
"Ok people there’s nothing else to see" said a police officer, the remaining people began to leave "you two are coming with us".
"sir, wait" I interfered "they already stopped, besides I think this will not happen again, right?" I looked at both of them, but honestly I doubt this will end here.
"I will if he apologizes," Adam said, then he spit out some blood from his mouth.
"Me? apologize? why would I have to apologize if the one who’s been acting like an asshole for all these years is you " I saw Kyle's knuckles turned white, trying to contain his anger.
"You're an idiot O’reilly" it all went so fast, we didn't realize that Adam managed to get free of Roddy, throwing himself at Kyle and punching him, causing his lower lip to bust and begin to bleed.
"ADAM NO" Roddy, Bobby and I yelled at the same time.
"Ok enough, the two of you are coming with us" as much as we tried to do something, we couldn't, Adam was being handcuffed and Kyle was already in the back of the police car.
"Y/N Roddy and I will get ahead to the station, we’ll see what we can do so this situation doesn’t get worse".
"Here, take my car and meet us there, try to call Britt and Chrissy, we'll see you at the station" Roddy hands me his keys and they cross the street so they can leave in Bobby's car.
Calling Britt wouldn't be difficult, the difficult thing would be calling Chrissy. The two of us don’t have the best relationship, although we treat each other with respect and greet each other if necessary, we are not friends and I doubt that in the future we’ll be, I thought that Chrissy has noticed the way I feel for Kyle and that’s why she doesn't like me. But it wasn’t time to think about our "rivalry", it was time to get Kyle and Adam out of the situation they got into.
After talking calmly as possible with Britt and explaining what happened and where were I was going, I started to call Chrissy, she didn’t answer and I had already lost count of how many times I called her.
"Hey Chrissy, this is ____, look Adam and Kyle argued and it got a little bit violent, now we are on our way to the police station, please communicate with any of us as soon as possible" I said after her voicemail was heard—for the thousandth time—.
Once I parked the car I entered the station as quickly as possible, meeting Britt, Roddy and Bobby, Britt approached me giving me a warm hug.
"Where’s Chrissy?" Britt asked
"I don't know, I called her many times and she never answered, I left her a message anyway"
"Adam doesn’t come out of this alive, I have talked to him so many times, this stupid fight with Kyle has already gone too far" Britt sat in one of the reception chairs, with her hands she covered her face trying to contain the frustration and tears due to the situation we were in.
"I really want to understand how it all started, it was so sudden that I can’t connect the dots, for years we’ve been fine and now this thing in the bar, I don't know what caused it" I sat next to her while hugging her to calm her down a bit.
After a long wait, we were able to get Kyle and Adam out — all of us had to pay the fees that were given to them — they both looked bad, bruises scratches all over their faces and I imagine part of their arms and torso.
"Well, Adam and I are leaving, thank you guys very much, believe me if it was up to me he stayed here" Britt said, provoking a small laugh between us — but not from Kyle and Adam—.
"Well, I think we’ll have to talk about this" said Bobby "but not now, we are tired, it’s best to leave it for later".
"Ah Y/N, your car is in the parking lot of the bar, take mine and tomorrow after training I’ll take you for it" said Roddy "will you take Kyle to his house?" He asks, I nod with a little smile, we say goodbye and everyone goes their own way.
“Let’s go” I said
As I could, I took Kyle to the car, he slowly sat in the passenger seat letting out occasional groans of pain. I started the car, the sound of the engine was the only thing that could be heard, I didn't know what to say and the truth was I didn’t know if there was anything to say, until he spoke.
"Did you call Chrissy?" Sure, there was no other reason why he would talk to me, not even an apology for the scene they both made, which was fair and they owed us.
"Yes, but she didn't answer," I replied coldly, making him understand that I didn't want to talk to him and I started driving.
The drive home was awkward and annoying, I wanted so badly to tell him how angry I was, how embarrassing it was for us to go to the station for a stupid fight that we didn't even know — or at least I didn’t— why it started. But my sadness and anger was bigger than the most probable thing is that the one who’ll end up crying would be me and not him, I was so deep in my thoughts that I had not realized that we arrived, I drove so naturally to his house, as I used to do before.
As I could, I took him inside laying him on his bed, little gasps of pain came out of him. Surely tomorrow he’ll have to go to the hospital to be checked, but that was no longer my duty (even if I wanted to be).
"Well, see you ..." I could feel his hand taking mine causing my heart to beat fast.
"No, please stay, at least until I fall asleep" his face reflected pain, I don't know if it was because his body was agonizing from the punches or it was because if I left he would be alone.
"Kyle don’t ... I ... I can't" I wanted to leave but again he took me by the hand a little harder, surely the effort hurt because I could hear his groan of pain.
"Please ... just until ... don't go" I watched a few tears come out of his eyes.
"I'm an idiot, I shouldn't have acted like that, it's just that all these years, this accumulated frustration, I couldn't contain it anymore" I sat next to him.
"Adam has always been the best, the one who has everything, but Bobby, Roddy and I are always in second place and he really seem to not care, nothing matters, as long as he continues as spotlight everything is fine" Kyle tries to sit down whining with pain, I help him by putting a pillow so that it doesn't hurt anymore.
"At the bar he said something" I looked at him confused as he set his look somewhere in his room.
“What did he say?”
"He said that I was a coward and that the clear example of that was you"
"Me? and what do I have to do with that? " I asked confused, but my heart and mind knowing what he might mean.
"I ... for many years I have loved you, but Adam is right, I was a coward and I never told you, I fear rejection" he took a pause "I was close to telling you, but then I saw that you and Marcel ... well"
"Between Marcel and me there was nothing" thanks to the darkness of the room Kyle could not see that my eyes began to water when I remembered the asshole of Marcel and the pain he caused to me in such a short time.
"Well, I thought so, that's why I started dating Chrissy, I didn't want to ruin anything for you, plus I didn't know if you'd correspond me"
"Kyle ... I felt the same ... shit who am I lying to, I still do it" I stood up I couldn't see to his face, I wanted to cry, but I didn't want him to see it, I stood in front of his window trying to distract myself with anything.
I feel one of his hands rests on my back while with his thumb caresses me tenderly, with his other hand takes my chin to turn my face, I put a little strength but in the end I turn and look at him, from his cheek rolls few tears, he brings his forehead to mine and I close my eyes, so I can't see him and I can avoid kissing him. I can't do it, he is with Chrissy I can't do this to her, she doesn't deserve it, it doesn't matter that we don't get along, no one deserves to go through something like this, I can't do this, I want to run and forget about everything, especially Kyle.
"Look at me" with his thumb he wipes my tears.
"No, please don't" I squeeze my eyes trying to hold back all the tears that wanted to come out.
"Y/N look at me" even if I resist I slowly open my eyes, seeing him a little blurred because of the tears that accumulated in my eyes.
"Kyle"
"Yes?"
“I love you..."
"I…"
"Let me finish" I interrupt him
"I love you, you don't know how much I do it, but this is not right, I can't do this to Chrissy, I know that we don't get along, but she doesn't deserve this" I walk away from him and I sit on his bed again, covering my face with my hands.
"Chrissy, you worry about her too much, when she didn't even care about what happened."
"So? that's not on me, I can't do this to her, I couldn't live with this Kyle "
At this point it was impossible to contain my tears and I began to cry, I didn’t think this moment would be so painful. I can feel how Kyle gets on his knees and his hands remove mine from my face, I look up to see him in the eyes and the pain in my heart intensifies more.
"Stay with me, hold me until this pain is gone, don't leave me" my heart breaks again, I can see the pain and sincerity in his eyes.
"I would kiss each of your wounds ... but" I let out a sigh "you are not mine and you’ll never be" I caressed his face with my thumb and brought our foreheads together again, the only thing that could be heard in the whole house was our sobs.
"Kyle, Kyle, are you here?" We separated abruptly, we recognized that voice immediately, Chrissy was home.
"No one answered me until Britt ..." Chrissy froze as she looked at the two of us sitting on the bed, far enough apart so she didn't suspect anything.
"Oh, hi Y/N I didn't know you’d be here" the atmosphere in the room had become tense and uncomfortable, I got up quickly.
"Yeah, mmm I just brought Kyle home, I'll leave you guys alone" Chrissy stepped aside so I could leave the room but Kyle spoke.
"Y/N" I turned to see him and i tried so hard to not cry anymore "thank you" he smiled at me.
"It was nothing, bye, take care Chrissy"
I got out of there as fast as possible, getting in the car and turning it on, on my way back home the best thing I could do was cry, I loved Kyle more than I loved someone in my life, I had never felt something like this before, but as I told him he’s not mine and I think he’ll never be.

Swapped
{ Part 3 }
Tumblr media
Read ; {Part 1} , { Part 2}
Pairings : Katsuki Bakugou x Reader
Warnings : Cussing
Writing style : 3rd Person
Word Count 1843
3rd Person's POV
" I thought we were going out to patrol again" Uraraka muttered and a majority of the class nodded in agreement.
They were supposedly going to the agencies they were training under to do their daily rounds of patrol but a sudden shift of their schedule got all of them gathered in Ground Beta for another suprise Physical Test Exercise.
" You were supposed to but unfortunately; a Villain attack happened near the train station and it caused damage on the tracks. It won't be fixed until Tomorrow. Meaning you're all stuck here doing 'Kiddy stuff' " Aizawa replied in his usual bored tone; hands buried inside his pockets as his shoulders sagged. The dark circle under his eyes were clear indication that he didn't get any sleep last night.
" Aww But sens--"
" Stop complaining. If you wanna be a Hero then you got to take it slow, Don't rush things. Plus... You don't see me complaining when I have to put up with all of you... " Aizawa Cut Sato off as he rubbed his temples " And dealing with all of you is not an easy job" He grumbled the last part and everyone picked up on his mood and just shut up.
" So... What exercise are we supposed to be doing today? " Momo questioned and everyone seemed to be interested in what their te aver had in store for them.
They were up for anything. As long as the penalty isn't an expulsion, the fear of their first day with their teacher still struck everyone with fear knowing how ruthless he could be.
" It's simple... Android Bots " Aizawa called out and from the entrance; loud stomping noises were heard, the stomping wasn't from just one but an army of Robots came marching out of ye entrance, stomping their metallic foot with in perfect harmony.
" Woah! "
Gasps of awe were heard from a few students as they stared at the bots with wonder.
" Let me guess... We're gonna be facing those junks here? " Y/n stated in a matter of fact. Katsuki who was right behind the female with arms wrapped around her waist and his chin resting on her shoulder just gave off a satisfied humm when y/n placed her hand ontop of Katsuki's own.
Aizawa who was too tired to give a sassy remark to his student's comment just nodded; and he won't even point out Bakugou's Clingyness seeing how the boy had reacted yesterday when he told him to minimize his Skinship with y/n. It didn't end well.
" This ain't cutting shit. Knowing you... There's a twist to this crappy test right? " Y/n countered and with a sigh Aizawa began to explain ;
" You're right Miss smarty pants. There's a twist. You guys will be judged individually, these bots can't do much damage but the bombs inside them are the ones you need to watch out for, if you destroy a Bot directly without dismantling the bombs first then... Of course you go Kaboom " Everyone flinched at Their Teacher's explanation especially with how nonchalantly he is as he did so.
" Ehhh!? B-but sensei... Isn't it a little bit too.... Cruel? " Mina interjected and aizawa shook his head.
" As a hero. You must always be prepared of every possible scenarios and surprises. Such as this, of course there are subtle indications whether a bot has a bomb or not.... So you gotta put your observational skills to good use and put that brain of yours to work. Spot the difference, dismantle the bomb and you're free to destroy it... Simple as that " Aizawa yawned as he waved off his student's shocked and terrified expression.
Everyone knew their team her isn't going to give them any more clues.
" He just wants to see us suffer.... " Jiro dead panned and everyone couldn't help but agree.
" You said we'll be graded individually.... So you're saying that we have to take out loud portions of those robots ourselves?" Y/n raised a brow when her sensei gave her a spine chilling smile.
" Yes, that's also part of the lesson. It's not everyday you'd get lucky to have another Hero to he paired with you... Sometimes you gotta work alone and most of the time The villain's you're gonna be facing won't be alone. So multi-tasking is the key... And since you're my 'favorite' student... You'll go first " Aizawa pointed at her lazily and she shot him a gentle smile.
A smile that seemed too gentle for this y/n to pull off. Something wasn't right with the way she smiled and everyone knew it.
" But... She might get hurt... I'll stay with her" Katsuki murmured tightening his hold around the girl.
" What? You think I can't handle myself? Get off me already loser. I need to release some stress and you're getting in the way. " Y/n without thinking much of how bad her words had affected Katsuki grinned as she pushed him off her roughly.
Katsuki tumbled back and he looked at her with a pained expression.
" Y-you think I'm a--"
" Get him outta here. He's fucking up my mood. " Y/n snapped as she jogged away from the group.
Katsuki who was fast to try and run up to her was pulled back by aizawa's scarf like fabric.
" Let her go Bakugou. "
" No! I Need Her! Y/n! " Bakugou whined and he had to be knocked out because he was starting to get aggressive.
"Everyone. To the Control room" Aizawa groaned and his students followed his command but go course they felt sorry for their classmate who was passed out cold.
_____________________
" Fucking Die! Hahahaha "
Everyone was silent as they stared at the screen; gawking at how monstrous their classmate could be. Was that even y/n? Because that screaming creature murdering those innocent robots while crushing them to pieces reducing them to junk was scarier than any villain they have ever seen.
" ..... Remind me to never piss y/n....ever" Kirishima gulped when 10 robots were sent flying off the ground with the girl wildly swinging a metal pole like a mad man continued her assault.
" S-she's doing a very accurate job at controlling that new quirk of hers though " Kaminari mumbled as he began thinking.
" But... That is not the opposite of her quirk... Unless.... Oh could it be? The quirk she has is a combined and mixture of mine and Bakugou's quirk ... I underestimated that villain's quirk " Kaminari began to mumble his thoughts out loud and it didn't go unnoticed.
" Well... What do we even call that quirk? "
Kaminari paused and gave a nod towards Uraraka " I suggest Electrical Combustion would fit the spunk" .
" She's doing a tad too good don't you think? "
" She's y/n. So it's no wonder "
___________________
Y/n slammed both of her hands on the ground creating an electrical current as well as a loud eruption of explosion to ensue underground sending the both flying before being completely engulfed and destroyed by either the flying debris, the roasting electricity or the destructive explosion.
With fluid like movement she shot out explosive electric bombs out of her palm that violently detonated when it came in contact with the robots.
She didn't have to worry about the exploding bombs inside the boys because she herself was more explosive than all of those bombs combined.
Her movements were accurate, powerful and spontaneous but her eyes showed how calculated and focused she was if people would ignore that sadistic grin spread out on her face.
She was merciless and with one final punch of the ground that sent a combined jolt of electricity and explosion that caused a mass breakage the fight was over. With no bots left standing at all.
The area was crumbling with ruined buildings and flying rocks and debris mixed with chunks of broken metal.
" Ahh... That hit the fucking spot " She grinned stretching her limbs after her little 'workout'
Meanwhile ------
Everyone was speechless at the display of power of their classmate. She was far too ruthless and she looked more like a villain---no monster from the screen.
And if you squint really hard earlier the students could see how the bots were running away from her instead of actually attacking her.
Y/n gained both the respect and fear of everyone after that bit of course they admired her for her brilliant performance meaning they didn't have to do the test because she destroyed all the bots in a blink of an eye.
" That..... Was so Manly! " Kirishima cheered and his cheer was joined by everyone else.
" Man! Who knew she knows some pretty sweet moves like that! I should ask her to teach me a few of those moves! " Sero commented punching the air.
" Well if you ask me that was rather terrifying.... The continuous onslaught of those poor robots was enough to petrify me for eternity. Not to mention she left us with nothing at all! " Iida sighed as he pushed his glasses up.
" Jeez, loosen up. She did all of us a favor " Jiro replied placing her hand on the slightly disappointed Iida.
Izuku on the side was vigorously writing down on his notebook with such intensity it made everyone pause for a moment to look at him; no doubt about it. He was taking notes about y/n.
Everyone was happy and Aizawa looked more like a proud father than an angry teacher.
But the same couldn't be said for Katsuki. He was sulking in the corner. Eyes dull and fists balled.
The little demon called jealousy was beginning to creep up again. He remembered the other day about Y/n wanting to be partners with Deku or Half and Half. And now that everyone saw how amazing his Girlfriend is, it made him sink deeper as his own insecurities began to swallow him whole.
" .... Do I even... Deserve her? " He mumbled to himself. Tears were already rolling down his cheeks while he pitifully sniffled.
His classmates were gazing at him. They looked inside of what they should do. They still couldn't get used to this new Katsuki.
Kirishima was about to approach and comfort his friend when suddenly Katsuki's body jolted from his spot before collapsing on the ground.
" Bakugou! " Kirishima exclaimed but another gasp was heard from the back.
" It's Y/n-san and Kaminari-san! " Izuku pointed out. Jiro was holding onto an unconscious Kaminari with the help of Tsuyu and on the screen it was pretty clear that y/n had also experienced the same thing and was now sprawled down on the ground.
Unmoving .
........ To be Continued.

Hanukkah at Hogwarts
Hello, this is a fanfic I wrote about my MC, last year, when some of Hanukkah days fell on Christmas. I'm now posting it for everyone to enjoy.
Summary: the Hogwarts Mystery friends celebrate Hanukkah with my half-jewish MC.
Word count: 1.5k
~~~
I sat down in the Christmas theme decorated great hall, but with a sad face. Seems like the rest of my family already got their plans for the holidays. Well, not really, but my mum decided yet again to visit her relatives, alone. That led to my dad deciding to take my toddler brother with him and celebrate Christmas with his own family. When I think about it, ever since Jacob went missing my family didn't got to celebrate any holidays at all. Not together, at least. Even now that I've found him I still don't know where he is, and I'm starting to doubt my family will ever be normal again.
"Hey what's with the sad face?" Rowan asked, sitting down next to me.
"Guess who's staying in Hogwarts during the holidays.. again.." I said in a fake-happy voice.
She gave me a sad smile, "I wish you could come with me to the tree farm but my entire family will be there so there's no place left.." "lucky you," I murmured, and she immidietly apologized.
"It's okay," I said, "technically I can spend Christmas with my dad, my little brother and my dad's family, but.. that's the problem."
"Your dad's family is a problem? Seriously I'm sure any of your friends would be happy to have you over you know.."
"No, no, it's not that.. just.. I'm tired of celebrating Christmas."
She looked surprised. "that is a sentence I never thought I would hear anyone say.."
"I mean, I guess it doesn't really matter what the holiday is if you spend it with the people you love, but.." I sighed, "you know I'm technically Jewish, right? I miss celebrating Hanukkah. I haven't got to do it ever since Jacob's gone missing and my mum slowly drifted away, you know.."
"Oh, yeah.." she said awkwardly, "well.. what do you usually do on Hanukkah?"
"We do a lot of things, like lightning the menorah. There's a place for 9 candles in it and each day we light one more candle than the day before. Starting with two candles- one, because it's the first day and the second is a candle that lit up the other candles. It's called shamash."
"That's sounds really interesting! How many candles do you lit? For how long? Why?" Rowan asked, curiously.
"I've never counted how many.. but we do it for eight days.. starting with two and each day we add another candle so-"
"44 in total. Continue please."
It was always impressive how quick and smart Rowan was.
"We do it because.. years ago.. oh no I barely remember! Something with a rebellion against greeks, the second holy temple, and a cruse of oil that was suppose to light the menorah for only one day but it lasted eight days so it was a miracle.. see, this is exactly the problem of not celebrating this holiday for so long!" I said frustrated, but Rowan continued to ask questions despite my despair.
"So it's a holiday about miracles. That's really nice! What else do you do?"
"W-well.. because of that cruse of oil we eat lots of food with oil. Not very healthy I must say, but tradition is tradition. We have latkes, which is kind of like a potato or cheese pancakes, and sufganyot, it's like jam filled doughnuts, but it can be filled with anything, really."
"So for eight days you light up candles and eat oil." she sounded a little judgemental but the way she described the holiday was funny.
"We don't have to eat things with oil, you know.. just a tradition." I laughed, "But we also get to play with a dreidel, it's a four sides spinning toy, that we play and bet on chocolate coins and we get money from relatives sometimes, and it's just.. a warm, cosy holiday?" I smiled, "I don't know how to explain it, I feel warm and peaceful inside, just remembering how fun was this holiday.."
"It does sound nice.. when is it exactly?"
"It already started but-"
"So let's celebrate! We've still got tonight, we can ask the house elves for the right food and we can light the menorah and play that game with that thing you said and-"
"Wait but I don't have any of those things how am I supposed to get them now?"
Rowan smiled at me, slyly, "You say it like you never invented a charm.. we'll use transfiguration of course.. come on!"
###
"I'm really glad that all of you get to go home for the holidays," I said.
I was sitting in the great hall now, with all my friends around me. It was all empty since everyone else were busy packing.
"I wish I could stay.." Barnaby sighed, "I'll be okay but my family isn't very nice, you know.."
"Yeah, me too" Ben murmured.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Your family's great. You're the one who's not being nice right now."
"It's not my fault they don't understand anything about magic and don't know what I've been through.." he shrugged.
"Yeah, ever since last year Beatrice acting.. you know.. and I don't really want to be stuck with her in the same room for the entire holiday.. " Penny agreed with him.
"C'mon guys, cheer up!" Charlie said before anyone else could complain about going home.
"Wait what are we doing?" Liz asked, as if she suddenly realized she was sitting with her friends. "I lost focus.." she admitted.
So I explained everything I explained to Rowan before, about the holiday, and how we plan to celebrate it.
We decided to meet up in the empty charms classroom, since Rowan already got premission from professor Flitwick to use it. Badeea, as the artist, volunteered to make a menorah, after I explained to her how it should look like. Meanwhile, I tried to make a dreidel. I couldn't just transfigurate one from nothing, so I decided to use a sneakoscope that I got from Jae once, and designed it as much as I could to look like a dreidel, with the right letters.
By sunset, when everyone met in the empty classroom, they were all excited to celebrate the holiday with me.
Badeea's handmade menorah looked beautiful, it was colourful and made out of clay. She even brought candles that Talbott conjured for her ("I picked candles in warm colours, for your warm holiday," she laughed.)
I set up the candles on their right place in the menorah, as everyone sat down in a circle around it. Then, I lit up the candles and said the blessings while everyone cheered.
"So what's next?" Andre asked as Rowan took a plate from behind her back, and showed us what's on it. "What's this?" Talbott asked and I smiled, "it's called sufganyot. Basically like a doughnut but with no hole and it's filled with jam." "Sweet! Give me some!" Tonks cheered while grabbing a few off the plate.
"Tulip, you've got those Candie I asked you for?" Rowan said with a smile on her face. "You know I always have Candies with me," she answered while showing us her bug full of candies. "I couldn't get those chocolates you told me about but candies are always good!" She explained.
"that's so cool! I'm surprised you managed to get the right food from the kitchen and bring so many candies!" I said.
I showed them the sneakoscope, "that's not how a traditional dreidel looks like, of course," I explained, "but we can still play with it. We need to divide the candies equally between all of us, then each round everyone will put one candy on the center of the circle and then everyone in their turn will get to spin the sneakoscope. See those letters I wrote on it? If it lands on this letter you get all the Candies in the middle and everyone have to put another candy, and so on."
"Sound's fun!" Chiara was the first to put a candy in the middle. "Prepare to be defeated!" Diego said, excitedly.
We started the game, and we played until bedtime, not noticing how time passes as we enjoy ourselves.
Barnaby was the first to lose, since he ate all his candies, rather than putting them in for the game. To no one surprise, Jae won, but he shared the candies with everyone, anyway.
"That was really fun! Thank you for sharing this holiday with us!" Penny said with joy. Everyone nodded with agreement.
It made me so happy, seeing all my friends celebrating my holiday, and enjoying it as much as I do. "you need to thank Rowan," I said, "She's the one who organized all of these.. I really appreciate it. That was seriously the best Hanukkah ever."
~~~
Happy Hanukkah!
To anyone who celebrate and seek representation as much as I do😂

Eunyeong sat outside of the general's tent with Baekhyun next to her side. The moon was officially high in the sky, accompanied by all of its twinkling friends. The general and his second hand in command had decided to keep the mole hidden in the forest until night arrived. Then, the escorted him back to the general's tent to question him.
"What's taking so long?" Baekhyun whined with a pout apparent on his face. Eunyeong only glanced at him in response. She was feeling antsy herself after the day's events. It had been half an hour and there was no sign of any activity in the tent.
"Does your head feel okay?" The woman asked after a few seconds of silence passed.
Baekhyun gave a small sigh as he lifted his hand up to his head. "It doesn't hurt as much as it did earlier."
"Good," the woman hummed. "I'll make sure it never happens again."
Just as she finished speaking, the tent entrance flew open. The general stepped out in a rush, only pausing his movements when he saw the pair of soldiers sitting outside of his tent. His eyes narrowed in annoyance when he meet Eunyeong's eyes.
"He won't speak to us," the man explained.
"Of course not," the woman huffed in exhaustion as she picked at the grass beneath her. "The other two we brought back with us didn't say anything, either. These people are impressively silent."
The general stood with his hands resting on his hips. He looked off into the distance for a few moments, his eyebrows furrowed with concentration. Baekhyun complained about wanting to sleep as they sat there unsure of what to do next.
"Maybe you should just go sleep. I doubt anything exciting will happen tonight," the woman told the man. "Besides, you should get rest after what happened to you today anyways."
Baekhyun didn't smack the woman's hand away as she reach up and pushed his hair away from the scratch on his forehead. A deep frown rest on her face as she stared at the small injury.
"Goodnight," the general suddenly snapped. Both of the soldiers turned to look at the man who was staring down at them with a scowl.
"Uh," Baekhyun gave a nervous laugh. "Goodnight?"
"Go," the general instructed the man. Eunyeong watched as the tall man lifted his hand and pointed in the direction of the soldiers' tents. Baekhyun scrambled to his feet and bowed respectfully before he trotted off to sleep for the night. Eunyeong went to follow after him, but was stopped by a large hand wrapping around her forearm. She stopped and looked up, meeting the general's dark eyes as she did so.
"Not you," he told her. The woman's face contoured into an expression of confusion. The man dropped his hold on her arm before he ducked back into the tent. Eunyeong hesitated before she entered behind him.
Inside sat Kyungsoo and the mole. Kyungsoo was staring at the man with a glare so hateful that Eunyeong felt afraid to even breath in the same air as him. How the mole hadn't spoken up about anything yet was a mystery to her. One look from the intimidating man would have her spilling her entire catalog of secrets within seconds.
The mole turned to look when the general and soldier entered the tent. His eyes lit up at the sight of Eunyeong, before they quickly narrowed with anger. This didn't go undetected by Chanyeol.
"What's the interest with my soldier?" He asked bluntly. Eunyeong blinked in surprise. Kyungsoo looked over at her, his eyes scanning her as if trying to see what the mole saw.
"There's a rumor circling through our group about a tiny soldier who stole away our men," the man began. "And now we have reason to believe the same man took the general from us when we finally got our hands on him."
"Ah, you've made quite the name for yourself - haven't you?" Chanyeol asked Eunyeong as he poured himself a glass of wine. She stood rigidly next to the entrance of the tent with her hands laced together. Her thumbs chased once another nervously.
"I guess my first message made it back to everyone," Eunyeong awkwardly said with a small laugh. The general looked up at the woman with disbelief.
"Of course it did, you son of a bitch," the mole hissed. "Now those men will never be able to return to their families after what you did to them."
"And what about your men?" Eunyeong immediately bit back, her hands separating and curling into fists as she spoke. "Look at our men! Look at the graves we've had to dig because of you bastards!"
"Hey," the general called out softly to the woman. She found his eyes soon after and felt her tense muscles gradually relax. The man motioned for her to join him on the floor of the tent and so she did. When she was seated, he passed his glass of wine to her. Quickly, she emptied the entirety of the glass down her throat.
"Where is your group located?" Kyungsoo asked the mole. The man looked over at him with an expression of distaste.
"I told you I wasn't going to say anything," he answered with a bitterness to his voice.
"What if we reward you?" Kyungsoo suggested.
"No," the man said instantly. "I won't betray my people."
"Do you think your people really care about you?" Chanyeol asked the man.
"Of course they do. When they find out my identity has been given up then they'll come back to finish you all off," the man remarked with pride. The general snickered at this.
"You're delusional," he told the man. "You have no value to them now. You're as good to them as a broken blade."
"Shut up!" The man exclaimed angrily.
"In fact, they'll probably want to kill you more than any of us after you've failed your job," Chanyeol continued.
"I said shut up!"
"We can help you," Kyungsoo interjected. "If you give us the information we need then we can protect you from dying. We can help you get back to your family. Wouldn't that be nice?"
The man was silent now. His nostrils still flared with anger, but it was obvious that the men' s words was getting to him.
"You know," Eunyeong started. "We don't judge you for doing what you've done - you have to do what you have to do to survive."
The man looked over at the soldier right away. Eunyeong felt her heart quicken at the gaze in his eyes. A grin slowly formed on his face.
"When my people come for me, I'll show them to you directly. And while they rip you apart limb from limb, I'll watch and I'll laugh. And when I make it back home I'll tell everyone about how I helped burn a tiny little bastard who couldn't stay out of everyone's business," the man told the woman.
Eunyeong felt her stomach twist. For a moment she felt as if she were going to throw up from the visuals that ran through her mind, but she had to remind herself that the man was trying to get under her skin. Obviously he recognized her as the weakest in the room, which made her an easy target. If she wanted to win this she couldn't allow him to get under her skin so easily.
"Go ahead and fantasize about my death, but just remember that it's me with the blood of your men on my hands already. I'm not afraid of getting my hands a little more dirty if it means defeating corruption," the woman replied gravely.
The man began to shake with rage at her words. Then, he began to throw his body wildly while shouting loudly. Within just a few seconds, Kyungsoo sat on top of the man and delivered two fatal blows that sent the man into unconsciousness. Finally, he was completely silent.
"Take him to the others," Chanyeol commanded the man. Kyungsoo obeyed without complaint. Eunyeong watched as he stood up and began dragging the man out of the tent.
"You have a way with words," the general noted quietly as he poured himself some more wine.
"I got a bit carried away," Eunyeong admitted, suddenly embarrassed for speaking the way she had. Her cheeks began to feel warm and she wasn't sure if it was due to her embarrassment or the wine she had consumed minutes ago.
"I was impressed," the general confessed. When the woman looked up at him, she saw a small smirk on his face. This prompted a smile to stretch across her face.
"Is there a reason you wanted me to stay behind tonight?" The woman wondered aloud after a few seconds passed.
The general glanced over at the woman, the smirk on his face long gone. His eyes scanned her face as if trying to understand her curiosity. "I figured the chances that he would speak would be better if you were here. Those who have emotionally wounded us are always the ones to get under our skin the easiest."
"Ah," the woman hummed. "That's clever. I'll have to remember that."
"Do you plan to be in this situation often?"
"You never know what tomorrow will bring."
That was the truth. When the next day arrived, the general announced that it was time to get a move on again. While the other soldiers packed up the camp and prepared to depart, Kyungsoo and Eunyeong snuck away into the forest with their newest prisoner. They planned to question the man, but knew it would be difficult to get any answers out of him.
"Are you guys serious?" The man scoffed as Kyungsoo pushed him to the ground. The sound of his knees hitting the fallen leaves on the ground emitted a crunching sound. Eunyeong realized only in that moment that summer was beginning to fade away.
"You think a guy with an expression like that on his face is ever anything but serious?" Eunyeong asked the man as she pointed over at Kyungsoo. She received a glare from both of the men in return.
"I'm not telling you bastards anything," the man spat angrily. Eunyeong and Kyungsoo shared a look of annoyance.
"We'll see," Kyungsoo told the man in a voice so calm that it was almost unsettling. His words made a sinister grin break out across the man's face.
"What are you going to do, kill me?" The man taunted. "Then you really won't get any information."
"Don't think of yourself so highly. We're going to end this war with or without your information. It's up to you whether you want to die now rather than later," Kyungsoo responded to the man.
Eunyeong watched the man closely as he contemplated his options. It was interesting to see someone so deranged from reality try to cope with a stressful situation. There was no doubt that he was struggling to keep up his act. When his eyes found hers watching him closely, his fake smile began to fall. The way his eyes instantly grew darker was a dead giveaway of his feelings towards the woman.
"Who's going to kill me?" He asked. "Do you think shorty's got it in him? Because I don't."
"Is that so?" Eunyeong asked in amusement.
"Yeah, that pretty little general would be a better option. Where is he anyways? Does he always let others do his dirty work for him?"
Eunyeong eyed the arrow that was still stuck through the man's hand and stopped herself from releasing a laugh. "Isn't your hand evidence enough that he's more than capable of doing it himself?"
"You always have something to say," the man snapped. "I can't wait till I'm free again. I'll make sure to strangle you myself. I've daydreamed about watching the life slip out of your eyes for the last two days!"
"Enough," Kyungsoo grunted as he kicked the man backwards. The man released a sharp breath of air as his back collided with the ground. Eunyeong watched as her senior stepped over the man and pressed his foot to the mole's throat.
"If you don't give us information in the next minute, I'll make sure you won't live to share another word with anyone," Kyungsoo threatened the man. Eunyeong felt goosebumps form on her skin.
In response, the man began to laugh - though the sound was more comparable to a wheeze than anything else. The woman thought he was completely insane as she watched his chest shake.
"You want information?" The man breathed out. "I'll only speak to the short one from now on."
"What?" Eunyeong asked in surprise as she met Kyungsoo's eyes. He removed his foot from the man's throat and walked over to the woman.
"Let's try it. You talk to him and see if he speaks. If he doesn't, try to scare him," the man told her in a low voice as he turned to watch the man on the ground breath harshly. The woman hesitantly nodded her head in agreement.
She walked over and looked down at the man. He stared up at her with wild eyes. If she looked close enough, she thought maybe she could see fear swimming in them. It was this small observation that made her frown. It was true, this man was this enemy, but she had never paid much mind to the fact that he was still very much human.
"I don't want to hurt you," she confessed to the man in a gentle voice as she crouched down next to him. "If you work with us then it'll be easier for you. If you're afraid of the other guys, I can promise my protection to you."
The man rolled eyes eyes at her words. "I don't want to be on your side. I'm fighting for my cause."
"Right... and that's clearly working out for you," she remarked.
"When we get rid of you then things will work out," the man said. The woman blinked with surprise at the way it sounded as if the man were convinced his words were true. He truly believed that she was the sole reason for the enemies' loss so far?
"You think too highly of me," she told the man. "I was simply in the wrong place at the right time."
"You'll be in the right place soon enough. Hell was made for bastards of your kind," the man hissed. It was Eunyeong's turn to roll her eyes.
"You make it hard to be polite," she commented with a sigh.
"Then don't be," the man commanded. "Show your true colors, you demon. I've already heard the stories. I know what you're like."
Eunyeong glanced up at Kyungsoo, who was watching the pair with intense eyes. Slowly she lifted her hand and let it hover over her dagger. Her eyes were silently asking Kyungsoo for permission to take it up a notch. When he realized, he gave her an affirmative nod.
"You really want to take it there?" The woman asked in that dark voice of hers. The shift in tone instantly got the man's attention.
"I'm beginning to think you don't have it in you. You a bluff. A fraud," the man pressed on. Eunyeong wrapped her hand around the handle of her dagger before swiftly removing it from its place. She brought it to the man's throat in such speed that it caught the man off guard. His eyes grew wide and he began to squirm.
"You heard Kyungsoo earlier," she cooed darkly. "If you don't want to bleed out on this forest floor on this beautiful morning, then I suggest you start speaking."
The three returned back to camp a few minutes later. The general caught them before they could officially step out of the forest. He scanned them for any signs of progress and found nothing out of the ordinary until his eyes landed on the prisoner's throat. There was a straight, bloody line that wasn't deep enough to threaten the man's life yet it was enough to alarm any onlookers.
"We got some information," Kyungsoo announced. The general nodded at the news before he turned his torso slightly and gave a sharp whistle. Right away, two soldiers came jogging up to the small crowd. Eunyeong listened as the general instructed the men to take the mole and dispose of him.
While the man spoke, she looked off towards camp at all the busy soldiers. She spotted Bakehyun talking to some of his friends. When he caught sight of her, a wide grin broke out on his face and he waved enthusiastically. Eunyeong stopped listening to the general and smiled while she gave a small, subtle wave in her friend's direction.
The sound of someone clearing their throat garnered the woman's attention. She looked over at the general, who was looking over his shoulder at Baekhyun. When he turned back to look at her, he had a disapproving look on his face.
"Sorry, sir," she quickly apologized while bowing over.
"If you're so eager to join him then perhaps you should excuse yourself," the man told her with a slight bitterness in his voice.
"No," she rushed out. "I would much rather go over the new information than to help pack up."
Kyungsoo couldn't help but snicker at the soldier's honesty. She felt her face flush at the way the general scowled at both her and his second hand in command.
"Your honesty is admirable," Kyungsoo commented, ignoring the way Chanyeol looked at him as he spoke. The woman smiled at his words. It was rare for Kyungsoo to be in such a light mood.
"Right," Chanyeol sighed with a roll of his eyes. "Let's go."
——————————————————————————
a / n : sorry again for the late post. not a whole lot of chanyeol in this chapter, but i really wanted to kind of explore the relation between kyungsoo and eunyeong. i think their personalities will really help both of them grow, even more so than any of the other relationships in this story. it’s important to have platonic relationships like that in life guys! anyways, hope everyone enjoys the new chapter. xx

I’ll Find You- Minho
Word Count- 1116
Part 17- Arm Rubs
Roughly 10 minutes had passed, y/n and Minho had rounded up their friends, besides Thomas of course, and where hiding in one of the many rooms they accessed via the vents.
"Look. I don't know why I saw what I saw. But I know we should be scared." Y/n started, pressing her hands against the cold mental floor, her left arm twitching lightly.
"What did you see?" Newt asked, recrossing his legs in a more comfortable position.
"I- it's hard to explain." Y/nbegan to ramble, straining her brain to try and describe the terrible creature she'd seen.
"Y/n. You can't call us in here, freak us out, and then not even tell us what's going on." Gally interrupted, aggressively, leaning forward on his hands.
"I-" Y/n attempted to start again, rubbing her forehead in an attempt to clear her thoughts.
Minho had noticed the twitch in her left arm, he knew it happened whenever she got stressed or overwhelmed. He doubted she even knew about it herself, as it was something he'd picked up from observing her closely.
"Hey, let's calm down, okay? Give her a break, you lot pushing her, clearly isn't helping." Minho opposed, bring his right arm to rub her left, directly over the twitch, hoping to calm it down.
"Okay." Y/n took a deep breath. "I saw this, monster almost. It looked like a gigantic spiders, but with blades at the end of it's legs, and sharp teeth." Y/n eyes didn't move from the floor once, seering a hole through the metal ground.
"Jesus." Newt spoke, leaning backwards on his left arm, as his right came up to run through his hair.
"What on earth could they need that for?" Frypan questioned, his forehead crinkling as he tried to create a mental image of this thing.
"I don't think we're being told the whole story here. I think, something seriously messed up is going on here. I mean, why else would they need something like that." Minho announced, throwing his left arm up.
"I agree." Y/n spoke, so quietly it could of been a whisper.
"Remember what they did to Y/n, and now this? We have to get out of here as soon as possible." Minho argued, his hand rubbing circles on the girl's arm, he knew any mention of that moment was hell for her.
"He's right. We can't trust anyone expect this circle." Gally stated, his voice echoing through the room.
"What? Even Thomas?" Newt asked in disbelief, Thomas was his best friend, and he struggled to believe he'd ever do anything to hurt them.
"Yes, even Thomas. You saw the way he was so eager to get back to that work, and now, that thing was on his computer. There's no way he's on our side." Minho answered, removing his arm from the girls', after realising the twitch had ceased.
"Look, as much as we love Thomas, and as hard as it is to believe that he would ever go against us." Y/n started, shifting on her crossed legs.
"Not that hard." Gally whispered, interrupting the girl.
Y/n gave him a stern look before continuing, "How do we know we can trust him? After all, he created that thing."
"We all know she's right, even if we don't want to admit it." Frypan spoke, flexing his feet that were stretched out in front of him.
"We need to get out of here, we don't know what they're capable of." Minho stated, his hand hitting the ground.
"Where would we go?" Newt questioned, his hand moving to run through his hair.
"Anywhere but here." Minho replied.
"We can think about it more tomorrow. We'll meet up here tomorrow before work, at 8. 'N we'll discuss the plan. Don't be seen." Y/n rubbed her knuckle, her eyes trailing over every one of the boys.
"Alright." Gally spoke, nodding his head towards the girl, before getting up and making his way to the vent.
The rest followed, crawling their way towards Minho's room. The boys all parted ways to their rooms, but Y/nstayed.
"You know, I've been thinking." She spoke, her back pressed against his bed, as she stared up at the ceiling.
"Oh no, that's never good." Minho teased, as he went to sit next to her, the bed sinking at his touch.
"Shut up." Y/n mused, pushing his leg. "Anyway, I still owe you that date." She finished, as she pushed herself up to lean on her elbows.
"Oh yeah, I'd almost forgotten about that, with all the craziness that's been going on."
"Well, I've been thinking, we should do it tonight." Y/n stated, as she moved onto her side, to face the brown eyed boy next to her.
"What a rebel you are. Not sure he'd be too happy if he found out." Minho replied, using the code name they'd unofficially made for Janson.
"Well, he doesn't have to find out does he?" Y/n spoke, as she rolled of his bed, and stood up.
"I guess not." Minho smiled, as he sat up on the edge of his bed, staring at the girl.
Y/n turned around, to leave. But was stopped when Minho's hand caught on her wrist, pulling her back around to face him.
"Wait, where are you going?" Minho asked, confusion lacing his words and covering his face.
"To change of course. You really think I'm going on our date, dressed like this?" Y/n mocked, as she pointed to her current a-tire, which consisted of baggy joggers and an oversized jumper.
Minho chuckled, as he himself got up, and made his way to his wardrobe, attempting to find something decent to wear.
By the time Y/n had knocked on his door. Minho had found some black trousers, and a clean white top that he'd neatly tucked in. He'd also spent an extra 5 minutes styling his hair to perfection.
Minho opened the door, instantly wowed by Y/n outfit.
She wore, a black turtleneck top that was sparkling with multiple silver necklaces. Accompanied with some baggy white jeans, that fit in all the right places. With a silver heart belt dangling from her denim. Whilst her y/h/c hair was scattered with curls.
"Wow, y/n, you look beautiful." Minho spoke, her eyes glued to her beauty.
"You don't look too bad yourself." Y/nteased, as she grabbed his hand and pulled him from the room.
"Now, I assume you haven't planned out the date, since you're highly unorganised. So I prepared a little something." Y/n laced her fingers with his, as she continued to guide them down the hall.
"You know me too well, y/n." Minho smiled, as he stared at the girl holding his hand.

✨☀️ my heart & soul are so full.
This was truly the best experience of my life. Envision is something else. I danced and sweat out every negative energy that I had stored away before I came here. I feel like a new person..
🌊 I loved the whole vibe of the Uvita area. Everyone was so nice. I've missed the salty air in my hair and on my lips. Being surrounded by the jungle and the ocean is a euphoric feeling. 🐟 I ate a lot of good fish outside the festival and I am definitely missing it. I loved the fresh fruits and coconuts everywhere 🥥🌴🍍🍌🍓
🏕️ our air b&b was just a couple minutes away from the festival and our host Jose was the nicest human ever. He was constantly making sure everything was perfect for us and coming back to get sleep in the ac was prime. I'm very glad we did that. Cabinas yuriel 💛💚❤️☁️
🐳 we went on a whale watching tour and we're blessed to see a male and a mama and her baby playing around! Humpback whales are my flavorite animal and I haven't seen them since I was in Hawaii so it was an epic treat.
🌄Then Dan and I watched our last Costa Rican sunset for the trip and took a nice stroll home. On the way we saw a sloth in the tree, a crazy poisonous snake and a gnarly looking centipede. 🐍🌙
I have fallen in love with envision and everything it stands for and for the beautiful country of Costa Rica. I will be back there's no doubt about that. I want to explore everything. Thankful for this trip and all the lessons learned and friends I met along the way. Until next time 🥥✨ Pura Vida ✨🥥
✨ Top Envision Moments & Music ✨
🔥 the sunset and fire spinners on the beach with the drum circle. I had hoped to spin some fire down there but I'll be a little more prepared next time.. you walk up the path onto the beach and you are met with various vendors with cool bones and jewelery, cheap beer and food as you emerge into a sea of people on the sand. The sky was on fire and the vibes were hiiiigh. The drum circle was tribal and euphoric. Looking around me being surrounded by jungle and ocean and beautiful people was straight bliss.
🍄 seeing Paul staments talk about mushrooms. I only caught one but it was so cool to hear him share his stories and experiences with us.
🍽️💦the dishcoteque
The waste at this festival was pretty much non existent. It always makes me sad how people can leave a place so destroyed and covered in trash. I had to pick up no trash from the ground and all the volunteers who were picking up trash barely had anything in their buckets. When you got food at any vendor here you received an actual dish, bowl, silverware or cup. When you were done you'd bring it to the "dishcoteque" and recieve a voucher for your next one. No plastic at all barely any paper products besides some paper straws .. the bathrooms also did not have toilet paper in them.. you had to get it from the outside and bring it with you so they were not overflowing with paper and and overuse of products.
✨🎨✨ the art & the stages
There was so much phenomenal art. I was blown away by the murals everywhere and the art gallery was bursting with talent and creative energy.
The bars and booths were all made from the materials surrounding them. Everything was made from the earth. The Sol stage was surrounded by a beautiful design with a big screen in the back that had really awesome visuals on it
The lapa stage was filled with house n deep techno vibes all day and night. It felt like something out of an epic movie in there with all the mist and the lights. The entrance to the beach was right there too. It was a great place to go to just dance and chill out.  And finally... The Luna stage. W o w. The most incredible stage I've EVER seen in my life and I've seen quite a few cool stage setups. It was a huge tower of Earth and wood and vines and beauty. There was a portal where people danced behind. The lighting was a1 from the lasers to the mapping on the funktions. It was truly other worldly there.  I will be riding the high of that stage for a long time. There was water refill stations in all the right spots which made staying hydrated in the jungle heat so easy.
🌮🍓🍦🥑🥙 the food
It's usually hard for me to eat at festivals lately because I don't eat meat anymore. Chicken fingers was always a go to for me but I've sadly become very picky. Everyone was pretty accommodating to my needs ( I wish I thought about asking for no cilantro before the last day 😞 I hate that shit )and everything was so nourishing and healthy. I have not been eating well lately and I feel so nice and full after all the smoothies and juicy goodness I ingested over the weekend.
🕷️ the huge tarantula like spider that happened to wander through the crowd of people dancing with the bass vibrating the floor and onto our blanket. It was SO BIG how did you even make it through the crowd?! Stealthy dude. That was wild.
☕🍵The tea party!
I went to the bathroom and I came across a tiny but huge tea party. Everyone had tea cups along a very small rectangle table/stool and they were singing jungle tea time jungle tea time and cheersing to life it was so cute
🎭🤸‍♀️🔥💃 the performers...
Wow. I haven't seen performances like that ever. Every collective blew my mind they all had a vibe of their own and absolutely slayed it on stage. Serious inspiration
🎶🔊 the music
Every set was so good. Nothing was like oh that was cool .. everything i was was so we'll put together and everyone definitely out out jungle vibes.
I'll just put this first in case you don't want to read all the way cause this was my flavorite part 💓
👽 Tipper 👽
This was my 30th show.. in the jungle...and the Luna stage couldn't have been any better. He played so many fat unreleased tracks and vips I have never heard before. Serious deep jungle vibes. I can honestly say that was my flave set I've seen by him so far. There were no visuals but I was so okay with that. the lights were so on point and the performers were so freaking good and well paired with what he was putting out. I am sooooo freaking thankful for that experience and to have had it with all my tipper family. This community has Brought me all over the country and now out of the US. I am constantly overstimulated and it's just getting more intense as I get older so traveling can be difficult for me. The high energy if the airport is a lot for me. Music festivals are even a lot for me but I eventually get comfortable..I just love the epic moments of euphoria through music and these experiences that I'll push myself through the rest of it. The way tippers music makes me feel is so worth trooping through a sea of energies to get to that moment. It's truly beautiful for me and I know others feel the same. Blessed to be alive for the making of tipper music
Thursday
✨ the first real full set of music we saw was jpod.. someone ive never listened to and I'm so glad I know about him now. It was so fun I found all my friends and it was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
✨Naughty princess was someone I didn't know as well and she threwwwww down a dirty heavy dubstep set. It was proper as fuck and she looked like a boss in the dj booth.
✨Honerable mention to Govinda and an-ten-ae
✨🔮Clozees first set on Friday night was so surreal. Seeing her live is a true experience. It got so heavy and blissful it was by far my flavorite set I've seen from her. She's so humble and cute and beyond excited to be doing this for us. When she plays she emmits such a powerful feminine vibe. The high that gave me was super intense.
✨ Honerable mention to
Stylust beats with the filthy dubstep set
Nico luminous
And attya to close was super smooth
Saturday
✨ The funk hunters played two sets. The but their Saturday night set on the Luna stage was so fire. They're so fun and energetic
✨ Random rab was so beautiful. Probably the most beautiful performance I've seen by him yet. His voice is absolutely amazing.
✨LAZY SYRUP ORCHESTRA...... If you don't know them please go listen to their sets on SoundCloud. The sun had risen and the people were vibin.. 6am set - ???? It was so freaking good ahhhh words can't even decribes
They're all so talented I want to return to that moment forever.
Going to the beach and jumping in the ocean after that was so freaking cooooooool.
✨Honerable mention to symbolico for throwing down two dope sets & moontricks on the Sol stage
Sunday
✨ Drrtywulvs ... Wowza. That was so fun and uplifting.. all the booty shaking..I love his music and all the noises. It always makes my body move in the weirdest of ways.
✨SUPERTASK..he's one of my flavorite artists ever and he threw downnnnnnnnn such a dope set in the jungle.
✨ SOOHAN was everything I wanted. His music makes me dance in all the best ways
✨🌄 Clozees played a sunrise set @ 545 and it was beautiful. She was very downtempo and played a lot of slower vibe songs.. it was perfect and blissful.
✨ and finally emancipator. They are forever one of my flavorites. They played at 7 am and closed out the Luna stage with the most magical morning vibes. I feel like they played a lot of new music and it was a perfect way to bring down the high energy from the night
✨Honerable mention to dirtwire on the Sol stage who pulled me out of my funk bc of the rain I love their music so much and Seeing them live is a huge treat.
If you've made it this far thanks for reading! Envision is my new flavorite place and I am already counting down the days until I can go back. ✨🥥
