#jack aubrey#master and commander#russell crowe#aubreyad#gifs#my gifs#gifprompt#jack aubrey outfits#ngl choosing them all was the hardest part#and I decided to go with variations too (aka shirt open or closed)#but uhhh I might have missed one or two (or they weren't in the movie idk)#also didnt know how to sort them for a long while but then decided to have him undress more and more :)#actually undressing in one gif#means that I could actually capture two outfits in one gif#making it 15 in total#also love how he always wear the goldtrimmed coat for stuff he likes (drinking + battles) but also the hardes parts (funeral + whipping)#for all the people that say Jack only wears one outfit in the movie#he does not#man owns at least 2 coats; 2 shirts; 3 hats and his boots#I also noticed that the shirt without ruffles is one he only wears in his cabin#calling it his chill shirt therefore#I just needed to share all these thoughts about his outfits bc I learned so much about them with this gifset#so if you wanna know anything ask and I shall answer if I know hehe
